A wonderful stay

Lovely place walking distance from the township center and a little beach. Quiet and super clean and comfortable. Absolutely loved the shower! Very thoughtful details in the apartment. Great communication.

Awesome View

Lovely views :)

Stayed two nights in February, it is a lovely little apartment with amazing views. My only downside as we did not have a car was a bit of a walk to the shops/restaurants which was fine going there but steep climb on way back which in the hot sun was a bit tricky. Bed was a little uncomfortable and the apartment is a little older now but overall a beautiful location. Perhaps some breakfast goodies included might have been the cream on top to make it a little more special.

Beautiful view. Lovely room. Quiet, comfortable. A steep walk from town, but that is Waiheke - lots of hills. And hence the beautiful view!

Room was spacious and very comfortable. Close to main town which was handy. Probably a little over priced for what we got though.

The property was perfect - good size room, lovely decor and amenities. Thank you for the welcome bottle of wine! It was only a few minutes walk into town (steep uphill on the walk back just lets you work off all the nice food we ate!). Perfect for a couple. Parking was a little tricky (steep) - but as we walked or E-biked everywhere, it didn't matter! We loved our stay!!

We had a friendly welcome, and the room was clean and with those extra special touches that added a little luxury. The view was beautiful!

Loved our stay at Watermark. The apartment was modern and clean, with complimentary lovely bites and wine on arrival! The property was warm and quiet, and not too long a walk into Oneroa's restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!

Clean and fresh surroundings close to Oneroa, Nice personal touches in the decor. Only very small point was they forgot to put some milk in the fridge which was listed as supplied.

It was a lovely stat, with great views and even had a bottle of bubbles left for us ❤️ Which was a lovely surprise 😋

This lovely room was perfect. Jo is a warm, welcoming and professional host. She made us feel great immediately. Beautiful view, beautiful little apartment with everything you need down to the umbrella, which we did. I would make everything effort to return!

4 nights Easter break at Watermark Apartments

For Easter break, we chose Waiheke and 4 nights at Watermark. Quiet,situated 12 mins walk to main Onera Village, we enjoyed the closeness. Hilly, but we still biked and enjoyed going around the nearby bay and biking not far to Ostend. (Sat morn markets like a big garage sale, not fantastic, but food stands good) Stefanos pizza place good. Apartment no.3 small with no view, but there was a bench seat on the hill solely for No. 3 which we enjoyed with a view. One towel each supplied in apartment for 4 night stay was not ideal. A box outside front of apartments had towels in it, but without the distinction of a "clean pile"and a "dirty pile" we were unsure of these. Towels need renewing. Bed was comfy, pillows were not.They need replacing. Ironing board has broken bar at base, unsteady to use. Bathroom needs unit with a flat top put in, in the empty corner, so you can place your toiletries down. The unit sink sat on, was too small, and therefore gave you the feeling of crampness, as you could not comfortably place all your toiletries down beside you and use mirror at the same time. You had to put these on the floor OR high up to the left on the window sill. They supplied us 2 very small bottles of shower gel for 2 of us over 4 nights. This was not enough.Had to buy soap.There needs to be a stand in between the 2 lounge chairs for somewhere to put cup of coffee/glass of wine. Kitchenette tiny, needs more than one tea towel. Paid $1100 4 nights, 2 Ad. Too much for what we got.

High up on the hills yet walkable to town

Very good communication with Jo. Very thoughtful touches when I explained it was my girlfriend's birthday celebration. Good heating in the studio and ensuite, comfy bed with a good range of pillow sizes.

Confusion around check out times. Wotif says 11am yet owners sat 10am. We were hoping for an 11am check out and booked this property as it had that.

Waiheke Island.

A beautiful apartment with stunning views overlooking Little Oneroa Beach. A quiet location & a short walk to the main cafe/restaurant area. The apartment was easy to find from the ferry terminal & the host Jo was very helpful advising of places to visit / eat / drink. Look forward to returning for a longer visit next time.

Lovely apartment, great location

We had a night at Watermark. We explored the island so didn’t have much time in the room but it was perfect for the night. Clean, spacious and everything you needed. We were in apartment 3 which had a little view of the ocean over Little Oneroa. I’m guessing that apartments 1 and 2 have bigger views. The owner, Jo, really cares about the apartments and keeps them in amazing condition. Would recommend to friends.

Great place to stay, close to an excellent swiming beach but parking is at a premium. \

Private and Comfortable Sanctuary

Really lovely comfortable, private room, close to the town centre. Cosy in the cold wet and windy weather, and airy and cool on a summers day.

Far exceeded expectations

Overall, a great experience, from the moment I booked, I received good detailed communication and upon arriving at the apartments, was taken aback at how great the room was.

Honest Opinion

We were met on arrival by Jo, a lovely hospitable host. The setting is absolutely amazing. The only negative was a bit of mildew on the silicon in the shower, the bed could also do with a foam topper pad for a bit of comfort. Would definitely stay again.

Worth every penny

The owner was an absolute star, even offering to drive us to the shops after we checked out. Rooms were immaculate and had everything you needed. And the view - worth every penny. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Excellent place to stay on Waiheke.

Very convenient to Oneroa Village where we found plenty of very good restaurants and interesting shops. The hotel owner made arrangements (in her absence) for us to check in a bit early and came around later to introduce herself. The facilities in the room (kitchenette, wi-fi, TV, DVD collection, etc.) were all appreciated. To me, the best sign of a quality place to stay is finding a coffee plunger and a couple bags of coffee in the cupboard. Instant coffee equals instant displeasure!! My wife enjoyed the good tea selection.

Nice short stay on Waiheke

Short stay on lovely Waiheke Island, Watermark apartments are a short walk from Oneroa village you have a couple of nice beaches very close, small shops, cafes and restaurants. The apartment itself is pretty much exactly as described, our apartment had a nice view looking out over little Oneroa beach and the sea, it was comfortable, spacious, clean, nice bathroom, tea/coffee provided. The owner Jo is very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend these apartments for a stay on Waiheke.

Watermark apartments was well appointed , the owner has a definite looks after the property and this is always a good thing. She was friendly and helpful and the studio was well appointed.

Wonderful Watermark

Beautifully outfitted studio apartments with the friendliest host. Well positioned with a short walk to the local town, or the islands public transport. All the information you could possible want or need about the activities, restaurants and wineries available on the island is provided to add to the Waiheke experience. Or just relax in the comfort of the cosy room.

Nice Spot

We enjoyed our stay at the Watermark Apartments. It was handy to the shops and beaches. It was nice and quiet and a pleasant place to say for the weekend.

Best stay ever to relax - beautiful view from our room!! Crashing of waves in your ears, nice misty dark nights to relax to :) We didn't want to leave!!

Lovely View

A nice apartment. Very clean, tidy, fantastic view. Good location, handy to everything. Can't rate the staff accurately as we didn't meet anyone, except the cleaner as we were leaving.

Expensive but adeguate

Wonderful place over a 300 meter ramp. Very close to the Little Oneroa beach. The owner, Jo, is a very kind and helpful lady
