Worst experience we have ever had

Please do not stay here! I cannot stress that enough. This hotel moved us around multiple times to different locations within the same hotel. at one point they took us to a new room that required walking a long distance outside in the snow and ice. When we arrived it was the wrong room and was dirty. At this time it was 5 am and we did not want to move rooms again. We agreed to stay until the snow stopped. During this time we did not sleep just researched new hotels. From only sitting on the bed we got bedbugs. I called hotels.com and they’re customer service said we would be refunded due to these events. At 9:30am when the ice had stopped we attempted to leave and go to our new hotel. The hotel staff stopped is and informed us that because hotels.com was providing a refund due to poor service, and we had stayed for a few hours and would now need to pay again for our stay. I attempted to call hotels.com and went back and forth for over 6 hours. We missed our tours and lost an entire day in Beijing as the hotel would not let us leave until we payed again. They threatened to call the police multiple times. There was a language barrier and it was very difficult to communicate what had happened. Hotels.com was of no help during this time. I was on the phone with hotels.com for a total of 307 minutes. please please do not even try to stay here and have the same terrible experience we had. Absolutely worst experience of our lives.

Report loose faucets and broken shower door handle on first day, but never got fix during our stay. Also they only get us one key not very convenient. One day they spilled some water on floor not even mopped. Other than those problems everything is great.

Honestly, I would not recommend this property not even as the last option. Bathroom was full of mildew around shower, towels were old. Heavy cooking smell 24/7 around hallways. Entry lobby to building was nice. Only one person spoke English.

If you like dirt, dust, mould, run down, ripped sheets, an air con that doesn't work and paying a large amount of money for it then this is the place for you, dont be fooled by the photos like i did, however location was good for getting to all the places we had on our itinerary, trust me ! You can find better for the money.

This location is very convenient, a short stroll to subway, supermarket just across the road and some restaurant around. Wangfujing shopping mall is only couple station away, can be reached by walking as well. For a week stay with family in here is very good as they has washing machine to wash the dirty cloth. The service is good. Staffs are friendly and helpful

The location is convenient (3 mins to the subway, really), the room is big as described as website, the cleanness of the place is over expected, and the workers there are super friendly. The only concern from me is that the towels look not in the white color as they are supposed. Recommend this place if you are going to Beijing.

The apartment was spacious, but despite we informed that we were 3 people (2 adults and 1 teenager) there was just one bed ready when we arrived. Also, we had to sleep in the first night with open window (despite temperature of - 6oC outside) due to smoking odor (despite the property claims to be no smoking environment). Also, there were just 2 towels at the bathroom. These three points were corrected for the second and third night. One problem is that the reception is on the 9th Floor, and to go there it is needed a key to release the elevator. So, the bellman has to call the reception and someone should go down to take us to the 9th Floor, what takes some time. Command of English of reception desk clerks was very limited. The property is well located, close to a metro station and at walking distance to the heart of Wangfuging Street (20 minutes) and Forbidden City (30 minutes). There is a 24-hour small convenience store at 100 m and a 24-hour McDonalds at 200 m, which are very convenient.

The location is not easy to find. No sign of the apartment unless u recognise the building by itself. Call up the management and realise there is an entrance between the foot massage and the gym.

Location was good although shown differently on Google Maps. Shower area was leaking so bathroom was always wet.

Staffs are very helpful and friendly! They even let me check in earlier when i first reach in Beijing in the midnight. Really recommended.

Fine stay but be aware of limitations

Though hard to communicate with (no English), staff was friendly and helpful. Spent like one hour trying to find hotel, as its Google Maps information is wrong and “hotel” is within another commercial / residential building. Service not hotel type, rather limited staff in a room office. Room was fine, was cleaned daily, but little amenities to cook and no instructions to use accessories like washer/dryer, cooktop, etc. Overall a fine stay, close to Dongsi station and Wangfujing area.

Location good, definitely need to improve cleaning

The property is not easy to find- no signage but luckily the driver helped us find the entrance at 11pm at night it was a bit sketchy. A lady was in the foyer to meet us though and took us up to level 9 where one of the apartments was their reception. The bathroom was not clean -years of build up of mould in shower and the shower head was broken. It has a kitchen but nothing in it, you can ask for equipment if you need it though. The beds were very hard but better than very soft i guess. Reception english very limited and needed to use app to translate. location is good in terms of supermarket and food nearby.

Spacious, near to MTR station

Spacious, short distance to most place of interest, can easily take public tranport, can do simple cooking if you book family suite, there is a supermarket opposite the apartment. Suggest to bring your own towel

Spacious apartment close to everything

It is the luxury serviced department very close to city centre. It is spacious enough to accommodate our family of 4 including 2 teenage children. The room is clean and is provided with daily room services. The room had a small kitchen equipped with a cooktop, microwave and cookwares. There is a supermarket just around corner. We didn't use cooking facilities because there are a few eateries servicing decent Chinese food at very cheap prices around Dongsi Subway Station which is only 150 metres away. It is not a full serviced hotel and there are no on-site restaurants or other facilities catering for business travelers. However it is definitely family friendly. I would like to specially thank hotel staff Miss Cheng for her excellent services which was started well before we arrived including the airport transfer and tour to the Great Wall.

Really comfortable in a perfect location

The hotel sent us instructions in Chinese to show the taxi driver from the airport which made it easy (taxi cost 90RMB). BTW ignore the location on this site if it’says Boafu Alley (disclaimer - I think I spelt that wrong). The hotel is the second big building east of exit C of Dongsi subway. Ask someone in the lobby to call up to room 925 and wait until someone comes down. The room was lovely and spacious with 2 large comfortable beds, a table, large sofa that can double as a bed, kitchen and a spacious bathroom with both a shower and a bath. Having the washing machine was a life saver and there was a drying rack. The shower leaked when on at full volume but we just turned it down and that solved the problem and there was still great pressure. The staff were lovely and helpful. Some spoke some English but we didn’t have a problem with communication. The location was ideal. A 2 min stroll to exit C of the Dongsi line which has both lines 5 & 6. The WuMart was across the road to buy supplies and McDonald’s was just around the corner in case you get really desperate. As a family of four we could not have had better, we had plenty of room, the wifi was great, we had everything we needed plus more. I absolutely recommend staying here if you are prepared to overlook the odd loose tile & old sealant in the bathroom. The place was clean & tidy and I would absolutely stay here again.

Big room, good location

Not bad. Not great.

This was one of the only quadruple rooms we could find in our price range and it mostly served our purpose. The beds aren't as hard as one would expect but definitely not soft. The location doesn't have much near it but it wasn't overly far from where we were going. The metro and nearby McDonald's was convenient. Our last night we got back around 1am to a sticky note on our door saying there was a problem with our room and another was provided for us. We had no power but chose to stay put instead. Appreciated the gesture but the beds in the new room were much more uncomfortable. Overall, it was a large room and served our purpose but check in was very slow and we killed a few too many bugs while we were there. The staff was friendly and the washing machine was a delightful surprise. I would consider staying here again depending on what I can find.

A nice Stay

Overall it is a nice stay. location is good. there is a supermarket not far, subway station is very close. walking distance to some restaurants and a nice bakery.

Good for families

Good set up for families. Clean and presentable. Reception staff speak very limited English. Close to the dongsi metro station and opposite a WuMart grocery shop. McDonalds is on the opposite corner. Photos looked better on the internet than in person - shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, bit of mould and the dryer door was faulty (wouldn't open) and they made us pay 100Yuans ($20) to get someone to open it. Overall, pretty happy with our stay.

Good experience. Only downside was the air conditioning. It could be that we didn’t know how to work it, but it would not cool down. When you get to the building, there’s an entrance to the lobby in the middle. The guard will have to let you up to the 9th floor. Slightly confusing, but manageable. Great location close to subway stop with two lines.

Poorly maitained hotel

The place doesnt seem to be maitained at all. Shower leaks and mildrew/mold in the shower, and hallway stinks. After shower, water is everywhere in the bathroom. The drain in the bathroom is higher than the floor, so water doesnt go anywhere. Wall paper was teared off partly; fabric on the sofa is partly missing; holes are in the wall; the tiles on the floor are loose. The service is ok, but the place is really in bad shape. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

A very good apartment

Excellent location, 200 metres from the subway. A supermarket across the road. Restaurants nearby. The room was very spacious and clean.

excellent and warm place

excellent to stay for a family except the toilets need some repairs/touch-up; overall a very comfortable, clean and warm place even though it is freezing cold outside; reception very friendly and welcoming; near dongsi station and accessible to wumart supermarket and nice simple restaurants; no hesitation to stay here again

Very tough check in indeed!

Check in is a totally a joke. I have to used my phone to call the lady which incurred long distance charges! Fortunately for me I speak Chinese and have to ask the lady which is located at Room 925 to meet me at the lift lobby. There was totally no signs to guide and the security guard there is of no help. A very poor check in experience indeed!

First time in Beijing

Staff members were very nice. Building was nice. Room was nice. Bathroom was okay.

Just one day before my trip, I used WeChat to connect with the hotel to confirm my airport transfer service. However, it was only then that the staff decides to inform that they cannot accommodate my hotel booking which was processed and confirmed more than a month before. They gave me 2 options, either to settle for their Sanlitun branch or cancel my booking on hotels.com. It's a day before my booking and any cancellation on my side will be charged to me! No compensation or attempt to resolve the inconvenience caused. It's just ONE DAY to my trip and most of the hotels in the city are fully booked. Regardless of any reasons why they cannot accommodate a booking that was made months in advance, I'm very upset that they made no effort in contacting me about it and that I was only informed when I took the initiative to reach out via WeChat. It is very irresponsible on their side since this meant that I could have reached the hotel on the day to find out that they have no room for my family. I had no choice but to settle for their sister branch since the limited hotels available are way too expensive. It was hard to locate the place. Nevertheless, room was big. It was a room for a family for 4 but amenities (towel, slipper, toothbrush etc.) provided were only for 3. Despite making a request for an extra towel, room cleaning always left us with only 3 towels for the whole of my 8-day stay. However, hotel reception staff at the Sanlitun branch was very nice and helpful.

Highly recommend this place. Large room, friendly staffs. Very good security.

Good place

Short walk to subway. Breakfast places around both corners. Good AC.

Room was spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. Metro station right next door so it was easy to get around and convenient store just across the road. Not much else is around unless you walk around 20-30 mins to get to Wangfujing shopping strip or catch a train 2 stops away. Shower in bathroom was mouldy so didn't use it, used the bathtub instead. Handy having a washing machine in the room but the dryer function wasn't working. The staff was nice and attentive.

Family short trip

Very convenient location in a quiet residential area with near by restaurants and supermarket. Very spacious clean room with double queen beds . Recommended improvement would be more clearer signage at front of the building and provide more plates, bowls, knives and forks. A sponge and detergent for the kitchen would be great too.

Great modern room but very hard beds.

Good value

Good value when staying with children as it has a stove, microwave and washing machine. The sofa bed was very big and perfect for two children. There is a big supermarket 2 minutes down the road with the subway just opposite. Bene Cafe just around the corner for great burgers, coffee and cake. It is incredibly hard to find. We had an amazing taxi driver who called the apartment and someone come down to meet us. They speak excellent English and were very helpful. Remember to ask for non smoking room, I forgot and we had to move.

This is more of an Air BnB

This is more of an Air BnB. No real check in lobby. Only a guard who doesn't speak English. You have to give them a cash deposit. Very rude. Not very responsive. Breaker kept blowing so power in and out.

Great location

This hotel had an unusual entrance. But once in the lobby of the building there was a reception desk for the whole bldg.. A hotel employee came, took us to the 9th floor office, checked us in, then escorted us to the 15th floor apartment. Very clean, comfortable and spacious.

Like your own condo with good central location

Ideal for a family of four or more as it is very difficult to find a hotel room in beijing with two large beds. This is essentially a small apartment rather than a hotel with the obvious pros and cons. Excellent central location with subway very close by as well as McDonald's and a large grocery store. There is a bank downstairs that change US dollars but not Canadian dollars (must go to Bank of China to change Canadian money). Acts well as a homebase for a longer stay. Pretty much like having your own condo and living more like a local and not like a tourist; also very secure.

Great space and very helpful staff

Very nice apartment with full kitchen, living area and spacious bathroom. Clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Apartment is located near subway which is easy to navigate and allows easy access to all major sites. At least one person was always available who spoke English and staff concerned about making certain we were not defrauded on taxi to and from airport. Only downside is what others mention in that entrance is not well marked in middle of what looks like a series of shops.

Very large rooms. Great location.

The hotel is located inside a large apartment complex. The rooms are basically good sized, nicely furnished studio apartments, and they're large for a hotel room. The staff is friendly. The front desk is in room 925, and you use the phone near the lobby elevators to call them to check in. The subway is very close by. There's a good grocery store ("Wu-Mart") across the street near the subway station. I would recommend staying in this hotel.

Excellent location, close to subway station

Nice staffs, very helpful. Since we stayed in Beijing for more than 2 weeks, it is convenient we were able to wash clothes.

Great Location n Comfortable

Really enjoyed our stay...hotel was very comfy, fantastic location n close to all e tourist attraction. Easy to get cab too. Only caveat was housekeeping cannot be reached by phone, gotta physically go to e 7th floor reception counter to ask for anything. Can be troublesome later in e night

Nice place to stay except for the wifi

Room size and everything is great. However, the wifi is not good. Signal is weak all the time.

Loved it here! We brought our family to see the Great Wall, Tinan'men Square, Forbidden City, pandas @ the Beijing Zoo, etc. Super comfortable and very spacious. We have a 6, 5, and a 2 year old so we needed a BIG place by China standards. This place was great it and it came with a refrigerator, microwave, washing machine (and it's also a dryer). We were a little apprehensive because of the mixed reviews but we would definitely stay here again. There's a WuMart across the street (you can buy just about anything). Our double stroller airline bag got damaged on the flight from Hong Kong to Beijing. Bought 2 straps at Wumart and was able to make it work. Am/pm is four businesses away....late night snacks, milk, beer, food, etc. The only thing is finding the place...it's easy. It's on the first floor between the fitness place and a travel agency (i think). It says Darwin Management...the entrance is to a high end apartment complex, you tell them you need to go to 925 to check in and someone will come down and get you. I used expedia in Beijing to get the expedia.cn website and screenshotted the name/address in Chinese. It was simple to tell the taxi to just go here. Staff speaks English and will help you call a cab to the train station or airport. P.S. We hired a private car w.driver for 500 RMB at the Forbidden City the previous day to go see the Great Wall badaling section. That included fuel, tolls, and the driver waiting 3 to 4 hrs. Happy travels!

Everything was fine . The Ac needed to be a bit cooler. Staff was very helpful.

Great hotel for family vacation

Overall it's a great stay. The hotel is very spacious, located close to a subway station. Compared to booking separate standard hotel rooms, the suit has much more useful space for a family, and has better value. The washer/dryer makes things very convenient.

Good accommodation

Room comfortable with facilities as described, no problems with very late/ early morning check in, staff happy to contact taxi for airport taxi. Would use again.

Accessible, Clean & Quiet.

One of the best stay overseas. Very accessible location, 3 minutes walk to Dongsi Station, well connected with all major attractions in Beijing. Excellent service, quiet and clean room. Full facilities.

Nice hotel, hard to find and no English!

Uppon arriving in Beijing we asked many drivers to take us to the hotel and no one knew where it was. Until finanlly someone called and get directions. He still got lost. No signs to the complex. Stayed at this hotel with family for 1 week. It was decent, the bed was extremely hard. I wasn't sure the floor was better to sleep on instead of the bed. No one spoke English. They all translate through their phones. However, once you arrive, you have to somehow communicate that you're checking in and some how get access to get to 9th floor to check in at room 925. The bell boy buzzed 925, but whoever answered didn't speak English. So we got stuck there until another hotel guest let us up. Location was great. Lots of cheap local foods. Bus stop right outside and subway station 1 block over. Washer and kitchenette was great to have. No telephones in the room. Which was hard to confirm our tours. The rooms lookso exactly as photos.

An apartment trying to pass off as a hotel

Check-in was very difficult because it really was not a hotel (no reception desk) but an apartment. Language barrier was almost impossible to overcome; fortunately the taxi driver talked to the security desk and managed to get someone to open the apartment office and gave us a key for the room. Otherwise things could have been really dicey. I don't think Hotels.com should ever list such a property. The room was big but the kitchen was impossibly tiny and not furnished properly. The Wifi did not work at all on one of the days.

I would stay again

I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to have an apartment for a stay in Beijing. Great location, good price , grocery store on the corner, has everything you need, walking distance to forbidden city, Tiananmen Square and other shopping.

Super close to the metro but was pretty hot inside without AC. Also if you are getting there after dark it is VERY hard to find the entrance (since it locks at a certain time and then you have to go around the back). But once you get the hang of things, it's very convenient.

Not as advertised

Hotel staff didn't speak much English. No restaurant on site, had to walk a mile for food. No ATM on site. Hotel did not have any of the comforts or amenities listed.

Could be better

One thing to keep mind is if you stay during spring time, the AC isn't working.

Beijing apt

This isn't a hotel. This is an apt block. Near the subway, near many attractions. The staff is their in the office 24hrs, however, English is a challenge. Although, hand translating apps on their phones go a long way. It's important for me to have a kitchen. Plenty of little shops and stores near by and 1 open 24hrs. Overall, very safe.

Nice Apartment, but perhaps not for first visit to

Nice sized rooms with a small kitchen. Location isn't too familiar to taxi's, but they do have an address card. As others have stated, if you arrive at night, it is really dark, and just go to middle of building facing main street. Entry the lobby, and ask to go to room 925 for check in. The location is middle class China. Basically NO western tourists in this area, and you decide if that is good, or not. About a 3 minutes walk to Donsi subway station, which makes it really easy to get around Beijing.

Nice clean hotel, close to subway

It was a bit difficult to find the apartment initially. Once we were there, we were happy to be surprised. The room was very spacious for our family with young kids. Room was very clean and decorated very modernly. The bathroom has a tub and a shower, great for traveling with kids. The room also has a washer/dryer, absolutely a life saver for us (wash kids' clothes at night and get it dry before morning) since we travel light. The location is perfect! 5 mins walking to subway and close to so many restaurants. If we travel with kids again, we will absolutely choose this hotel without a blink of eyes.

お部屋は広く、キングサイズのベッドが２つありましたので、とても快適に過ごせました。

還可以，交通方便

숙소가 되게 넓고 깨끗해요. 혼자 여행하는데 지하철역도 근처에 있고 길 건너면 마트도 있고 식당들도 많이 있습니다. 버스정류장도 바로 앞에 있고요. 호스트 분들도 굉장히 친절하시고 이번 여행에서 제일 좋았던 부분이 숙소였습니다.

客房清潔度還不錯 設備齊全但我們這次出遊沒有用到洗衣機 飯店位置雖然不在鬧區裡面但也不算太遠 整天評分大概4.5 唯一一個比較搞笑的狀況是 預定10/18-10/20 行前飯店卻傳訊息說國慶假期不接待外賓 但後來詳問後才發現是烏龍一場

飯店乾淨整潔，服務人員親切，不過床鋪和沙發有點塌陷，廁所馬桶蓋有點壞掉了，應該要適度更換，不過整體而言，非常舒適整潔，直得推薦。

房間很大，近地鐵站，附近有食店及便利店，適合一家大小出行。check~in當天發覺冷氣是壞的，前台的小姐很幫忙，儘快請師傅修理，晚上已經可用。可是隔天，冷氣又出發怪聲，因為是晚上，前台另一位值班的小姐只叫我們關掉再開，之後看見隔離房的，也開不動冷氣，這酒店的冷氣很易壞吧。

有家的感覺

在東四地鐵站旁很方便，居住環境很單純，不會吵雜。北京的地鐵轉乘都很便利，對不熟悉內地的港台自由行旅客而言，利用高德地圖app 找景點路線真的很好用，還有公寓室內有洗脫烘的滾筒洗衣機（夏天不建議烘，室內有曬衣架），雖然貼心，但使用的標示步驟不夠貼心，和太太兒子足足研究了15分鐘才上手，建議找一個新手從頭抄作實驗一遍，才能證明到底哪裡的標示不清，畢竟出門在外，衣服的清潔真的很重要。工作人員態度不錯，整體給90分。

Bom espaço e boa localização mas nem tudo funciona

Os quartos são espaçosos, uma da camas era muito dura, solicitei a troca mas disseram que não tinha outra cama e nem outro quarto disponível, o ar condicionado não funcionava corretamente, solicitei que fosse verificado mas não houve solução, a sorte é que os dias não estavam tão quente. Os funcionários não falam inglês. A localização é muito boa, há restaurantes (fast-food), supermercado, farmácia, metro a menos de 200 metros do prédio.

L'appartement est très bien situé, dans un quartier agréable, proche des commerces et d'une station de métro. Nous y avons été très bien accueillis et le personnel était charmant et disponible. L'appartement est calme avec une très bonne literie. Toutefois, l'appartement aurait mérité un sérieux rafraichissement.

這不是一間正式酒店, 設於商業大廈 (預訂時已經知道的). 房間很大, 潔淨, 很舒服. 服務員很友善及好笑容. check- in 後, 服務員在手機設置群組, 有什麼事都可以直接手機通知, 方便快捷. 地點方便, 地鐵站在不遠處. 如再到北京 , 都會入住.

It was a spacious and clean apartment, good location

The hotel/apartment was great and we really enjoyed our time there. The bathroom could do with an update but we have no complaints. The girls at reception and the chambermaid were extremely friendly and helpful.

交通便利，附近有超市麥當勞，機能不錯。

飯店所在的大廈是一個很好找的指標，就是入住時要聯絡服務員下來接比較麻煩；入住期間，我們剛好遇到1月1日飯店年度換約，所以磁卡一度被消磁，無法進入飯店的囧境，還好不趕時間，不然真的會很焦急；房內空間很大很舒服，暖氣也很暖和，雖然從抱枕、椅子等破損的狀況看得出設備有些年代，但不影響舒適程度；交通方便，找吃的不是問題。整體而言很滿意，下次還是會考慮入住。
