If you’re going to Milan this is out of the way where all the attractions are. We wish we would have stayed more downtown. The property and lobby is beautiful…and that’s it. Our room was small and the bathroom was terrible! The shower flooded constantly and there was mildew within the crevices. Housekeeping was very subpar here! The hot tub at the so called spa was freezing and figuring out how to get in and out of it is laughable. The pool was also cold and not very clean at all, same for the hot tub. The breakfast is not worth it not one bit! Disgusting! Runny eggs and just not very high quality food. The best thing about this property is how pretty it looks outside and the lobby!

Staff were really disrespectful, they gave me my room after 2 hours after many argument,room wasn’t as I expected.terrible experience.

Futuristic hotel that can't get the present right

Such a weird place....trying way too hard to be different/futuristic and stuff just doesn't make sense in the present. They couldn't even control the air properly in the room. The hallways smelled bad. The staff was not good. We checked out early because it was so bad and they did not refund.

Great hotel and even better restaurant, even if it is a little pricey. I'd recommend the risotto milanese

Hot in many ways, not always the best.

The hotel is great except that the air conditioning doesn’t work. We had them come and reset it, it was still terribly hot. Sometimes the room was hotter than outside, because the air conditioner seemed to blow hotter air inside. The shower is completely open to the room and so steam makes this worse. We ended up taking cold showers to keep it from getting hot and slept with the window open. We tried looking up the airvent HCS manual (moon panel), had them reset it— they sent a handsome repair guy, he declared it fixed and checked the vent, but hours later — hotter than hades. Otherwise, fine! Also I burned my hand in the sauna steam room… they should probably cover the steam converter, but nothing a bit of cold water didn’t fix. To sum up — hot waiters, hot bartenders, hot repair men, hot rooms.

The cleanliness is very bad..the smell of shampoo is very bad. There are no toiletries inside the room..the reception staff are not nice.

Property is very clean and looks like a new building when approaching. Rooms are well kept and very quiet. Safe surroundings and easy to obtain taxi or public transportation.

Mini Vacay

I didn’t know what to expect but I must say I greatly enjoyed my stay. Miguel at the bar was so nice. The staff was great and I will definitely stay again. I do recommend renting a car since it is about 20 minutes outside of Duomo and 30-40 minutes away from the airport. The Ubers can get a little pricey

Net hotel. Parkeren is makkelijk. Veel lawaai. Lounge niet gezellig, kan je niet zitten. Douche lekt en was kapot. Weinig keus in het restaurant. Was oke, dus gemiddeld.

Bathroom design is the worst of all!! Never seen a bathroom shower with no door and transparent glass on top of it the shower pipe hangs in there and how can expect one to hold the shower sprayer and take bath. Worst designed hotel bathroom

The area around the property is not very safe nor clean (lots of garbage, graffiti, slums, unhoused) and is about 15 mins cab ride away from downtown/center. The room was wonderful, with a spectacular view! The only issue was the floor hadn’t been cleaned (hardwood) and lots of dirt and grime/stains. I put towels down from my bed to the bathroom so it was fine. Also, the tv kept glitching in and out. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly — great people! The dining for dinner was delicious; however, the breakfast and room service food (same food) was cold and bland. The dinner time restaurant was very tasty, and completely different than the breakfast/room service buffet. I wanted to try the pool and sauna but you need reservations in advance, and you won’t even be able to look at it because your key they give you takes you directly to your floor after scanning, no other floors. All in all, I rate this experience as a 4 because of poor location, subpar buffet, but excellent and kind staff! I would come here again. :)

The surrounding area is very urban and run down. I understand this is not the fault of the hotel but it is worth considering. No pleasant evening strolls around the area

The key cards are extremely annoying. You need a seperate key card to go to gym and pool, the first two key cards they gave me didn’t work. The staff was friendly, but they didn’t seem to be able to communicate well with the language barrier. The breakfast was amazing and they have a sauna , and that is the only thing that saved this place as far as rating. It is not a convenient location to get anywhere and there are very very limited dining in the area. I would not stay here again. I’d recommend somewhere more central.

This was by far one of the dirtiest properties, from the tables at the bedside to the bathroom & floor it simply was disgusting. There are bed bugs in the bed as our little child was full of bites. The room smelt like smoke, even though they are supposed to be smoke free. Lots of soap scum in the shower & the basin that did not drain. Even the fridge smelt. There is no real place to hang towels and the towels are kept by a rubbish bin. Only good thing was complementary water. The pool area was a disappointing as they do not ever have enough towels & when they do they only provide hand towels, the pool flooring is uneven and all of the lockers are locked even at 7am in the morning. Also to use the pool you need to fetch a key which is very inconvenient & not relaxing at all. The breakfast is really not worth it with cheap ham and not a good selection. Serving exactly he same thing everyday & the only vegan options were fruit & vegan yogurt. The croissants tasted stale with a funny taste and even the bread offered was not good. It’s a shame about the food options. Also the servers just clear your stuff while you are eating and do not even consider if you are finished. Had to replace toast 4 times in one sitting due to it being cleared. This is also far from public transport and the cab/ taxi drivers really rip you off. Although it looks modern they do not have the service to match. Really disappointing.

An ok hotel for a short stay, the bed was really comfy and the breakfast was good. However, the shower in the room without a door is quite unpractical, if you don't want to wash your hair you have to use the small shower and hold it while trying to wash yourself. Appreciate the eco friendly effort and trying to save water, but the random flushing of toilet was useless. And the pool area needs a complete refurbishment.

Family trip

Lady at the front desk wasn’t friendly at all. The bartender was amazing. Our next door neighbor was rude and noisy, we’ve been up a few times due to their children running in the hallway. (Almost 2am) Overall of the hotel is pretty good, except the location.

Poor elevators

The hotel is in a good location with lots of parking. The issues I had were hot water ran out on Saturday night and the elevators. The waiting time was up to 15 minutes as one elevator was not in service.

It was nice place. Very helpful staff. Just the lack of food choice in veg option. The air condition nor working.

The property had great views, it was high tech and the food offered at the bar was great. I also enjoyed the breakfast offered.

Very clean and modern, fun and comfortable!

I stayed in the premium room but it was a bit disappointing for the price (£180 a night). The rooms interior seemed cheap and very dull and I’m also not sure about the layout with the bathroom not being separate to the bedroom. No aircon in the gym the main machine in the gym was broken, no windows in the corridors feels a bit claustrophobic. The staff was nice, swimming pool looked nice and the building seemed quite new. Overall it was just below average in my opinion.

The hotel is huge but has no character. The breakfast area feels like a school dining hall. The pool and spa is dull as is the sauna & steam room. Our tea pot was dirty and couldn't be used. The room was ok and being on the 20th floor had great views of Milan but as the hotel is located in an industrial area the views were pretty depressing! Reception staff were always busy and never answered the phone. You need to book spa and pool access even though only a handful of people were using it. overall a 5/10.

A great family hotel with superb views!

The area around the hotel is a bit derelict so don't expect to walk out and find nice streets and cafes. The location however is very convenient for the Fiere Milan exhibition centre and it is only a short taxi journey away. The staff were very helpful in the hotel. The room was very hot at night due to an issue with the a/c but nothing an open window couldn't fix. We didn't wat at the hotel as the review of the food wasn't very good and breakfast was a bit disappointing. All round, however, the hotel was comfortable, modern and convenient for the exhibition hall.

Lifts spoil this hotel. Nice spot but I and all people with me spent 10 minutes waiting for lifts. The automatic system just does not work. Apparently a common thing. Wouldn’t stay again unless that was fixed.

Voco Milan - Fiere, 1 night stay Aug '22

Fabulous hotel, quirky design and all the better for it. It's a bit out from Milan so you'll need a car or take an Uber, not a taxi through the Uber app as the suggested cost window was wildly off and you are also paying for the taxi to come from the rank to you. The small pool is fun however be aware that there's a charge if you have a standard room. Parking is easy in the underground carpark, cost is €12 a day payable at checkout.

I didnt like that you have to pay €15 for the small pool per person nothing around the hotel they hardly cleaned my room did not take more toilet paper will not be staying there again.

Convenient, comfortable, food not very good

They have a set temperature at 68 when outside was 100 We have to open the windows at the 11th floor to cool down a bit the room I would not recommend this place for lack of air conditioning. And the explanation of saving the environment was definitely not a good convinced explanation.

Quiet and restful a great place for true relaxation

It was quite clean and spacious. I payed to much money for the fridge not to be working though. Overall it was good and I would go back.

Cockroach hotel!!! 2 star not 4 star!!!

The absolute worst hotel experience of my life. I have never rated a travel stay and do travel extensively. This was so frustrating I have a desire to warn others. Stay the heck away from this dump it would be rated 2 stars not 4! The list of problem including a cockroach on the bed and leaky shower head all night is just the start!! And no one picks up the phone to hear you complain about the problem.

Breakfast was great, a lot of food options. Updated rooms. We had an issue with our bathroom door not closing and we got upgraded to another suite. Overall it was a great stay.

I really liked everything about my stay at Voco Milan, incredibly beautiful place. The cleanliness, the staff, how friendly and amazing they all were in general. But the only thing I disliked was the fact the no one ever mentioned to me that the mini bar in my room was at my own expense. Someone would come to replenish it every single day. But the staff never said that it was payable. I ended up paying $450 the day I checked out. I was completely shocked. Beside that, Everything else was perfect.

The hotel have futuristic look inside the rooms, confortabile beds. The spa is ok to relax after a day of work but nothing special. Is looking very fancy from the photos. As a recommendation, more heat in the sauna will be very welcome Down side was that our bathroom door could not be closed. I ask if they can fix it, and they did it but the fix was just temporary, when I opened again the door it was still brocken.

It was an amazing place to stay. We were only there for one night but wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back. The front desk staff were friendly and kind. It was a very clean and had a good atmosphere. The elevators were key operated which felt safe and it was clean. The rooms were comfortable and clean supplied with coffee, tea, and shower supplies. It was a really nice stay.

Great, brand new looking hotel. Nice rooms and food. If I should name any problem it might be that it is not close to a metro station.

They stopped serving breakfast at 9:30 , when I asked they said it’s finished , and when I complaint they went and got more food out as their breakfast should finish at 10 !!

Bad location, uncomfortable rooms, bad customer service

Personal needs to be trained, they don't now anything about customer service. The hotel have a central AC/ and Central Heating system, you are NOT ABLE TO CONTROL FROM YOUR ROOM. so it was EXTREMLY HOT So unfortunately it was not ok to sleep

The room was nice, bright and clean, the not so cool part about this hotel it’s that it’s a bit far from the train station. Location it’s not central, they do have a shuttle bus that takes you to the train station.

The hotel is Beautiful! Our shower drain was not working called to get it fix and it wasn’t completely fix. Our first encounter with completely bad customer service was when we first got there our rooms were not ready and we had to wait which was ok we decided to go into the restaurant and get lunch and we yelled at for entering on the wrong side of the restaurant by a female brunette thin manager wearing a dark pant suit who was more interested in checking herself out on the million mirrors on the wall than to do her job. The rest of the staff was friendly and very helpful

Spacious room. Poorly lit parking garage. Wacky elevator system. Power outage during rain for elevators and basement lightning. Quick handyman service for maintenance in bathroom. Nice staff.

Chaos

Hotel over booked it self and moved me across Milan - I had booked this hotel specifically for the location and to have dinner with customers - also staying in the hotel. Hotels own staff didn’t know where the alternative hotel was or even the name. My 5min journey to the Expo then turned into a 45min journey at my own expense.

I went to the reception and asked for a spoon and the reception sent me to the bar when I went to the bar the bar maid told me he couldn’t give me a spoon. Anyway I found the staff to be rude and unhelpful. I got on with my day though but this is just my opinion and experience.

It was an amazing stay overall but they should add doors and opaque glass to the toilets and showers. Not a family room. One of us had to leave the room if one had to take a shower or use the toilet ;))))

Excellent stay! Staff was helpful and my room was comfortable. Fitness center was nice and sauna was truly relaxing.

I was at 22nd floor, the view from the two windows was very nice. The modern hall was so nice, desk people very kind even if I asked for a little towel at 23.20 and nobody brought it!

The hotel grate design , staff & breakfast where very good. The Problems- where the open-space room, and the distance from the center.

Nice Hotel!

Stay was short and sweet. I had fun at the sauna and pool and ate at the bar downstairs (good food). The safe in my room was not working (it kept beeping over and over) so they changed my room immediately, which was greatly appreciated. Room was clean and comfortable. I feel like the room was meant for a couple as opposed to friends though because the shower was frosted and open so it was really visible. So if you're traveling with friends, be weary of that! Also, I love that they have a free shuttle to the closest train station. It was super easy to get to the airport thanks to that.

Nice unique modern styling. Pool and spa area were very interesting and different to use. We enjoyed our stay. On the 20th floor where we stayed you can see all of Milan.

Clean room with broken shower and ok food

For a 4-Star hotel my wife and I expected more. The water coming out of the showerhead was cold so we had to use the hose attachment the whole time. We had dinner and breakfast once there and the food was ok at best. It took at least 6 or 7 calls until someone finally answered but the room was at least clean. Will never go back nor do I recommend this hotel to anyone else.

Great style but....

Hotel itself was really nice. Loved the style of it. Really modern. Rooms great. Great view from roof. Just a few things I didnt't like. The gym was good but spa desperately needs updating. Sauna and pool both too cold. Some of seats with chipped tiles. Also air con in room wasn't good . Kept meaning to report it. Was very warm in room without open window. Also location is a bit rundown. UCI cinema (which sometimes shows English language films), couple of restaurants and Lidl reasonably close but not the safest looking area if you are thinking of walking back at night from the train.

Location and pick up not great. Not easy to contact the hotel. We had a superior room which was finished to a high standard, room was spacious and very comfy bed. liked the private area with toilet and bidet. Shower was great but needed a hook to put your towel on. Heating not easy to alter. Stay was to short to use facilities and breakfast was an expensive extra. But would stay again and recommend everyone to try it.

Amazing to the tram.

Honestly, the hotel is beautiful. Theres a movie theater across the street that stays open til 12am and serves real food (it has 2 resturants) . Town is a while aways but you can tak the tram which is free all rhe timeand comes quite often. The people are amazing and the hotel accomedated us being that we didnt have the right charger outlet (im from the US) . I would come back again in the future.

It was nice and the breakfast was great - if you only stay there for one day. But we stayed for 3 days and had exactly the same breakfast in all 3 mornings we were there. Would be great if there was some variety.

excellent... very european, modern design type yet one would feel very comfortable. Polite front desk service, gave perfect instructions to various locations, had food in the lobby, enjoy the late dinner, service, and a ride earlier in the evening on the shuttle service into town. Hotel was a walking distance to our venue.
