Loved the hotel and the location . Not very friendly staff when we checked in and very pushy on asking for our car keys when we had parked in the corner and was not obstructing anyone and we kept insisting we wanted to keep our car keys as we had been doing a lot of travelling and had lots to sort out so we were back and forth . The tv wasn’t working and when we got it working it kept going off every 5 mins so we gave up in the end. Breakfast was fabulous and great to have freshly cooked options too .
An excellent boutique hotel experience - staff were helpful and friendly, onsite restaurant was great for breakfast, dinner and cocktails. Amazing views and a great location close enough to town to be convenient but out of the crowds.
We had a lovely patio overlooking the well maintained garden and ocean. The lounge chairs allowed for deep relaxation after a busy day exploring. Breakfasts were freshly made and delicious. The rooms were well appointed and the beds very comfortable.

Beautiful Property with excellent views and a great restaurant. Staff was super helpful and recommended several off the beaten path options.
Place was beautiful but almost all staff (but one or two) were rude and made us felt unwelcome. Would not recommend.
Beautiful property 10/10.
Fabulous hotel. Stunning views and first class in every way. Very boutique - only 15 rooms and each unique in design. Spacious (king bed, double closet, huge bath with views) and ours had a large veranda overlooking the pool, beach and ocean. The Miranda restaurant and bar is excellent in both menu and service. 5 minute walk to beach and 3km clifftop boardwalk to old town Lagos. Highly recommend!
Stunning view
Absolutely a dream !! Loved everything about it
A gem of a property! Magnificent views, wonderful ambience and a friendly, helpful and cheerful staff!
AC not sufficient. Effectively just a fan blowing warm air, very difficult to sleep
We loved this boutique hotel. Dinner was fabulous and the complimentary breakfast was incredible. The views from the property were breathtaking. Walkable to the best beach in Lagos.
Stunning property with beautiful views! If you are looking for a serene getaway in Lagos, this is the place! The location is perfect, a short walk to a beautiful beach and a quick Uber ride into town. The staff are lovely, they go above and beyond! Beautiful restaurant on site as well. Highly recommend and will return if I am ever in Lagos again!
Great place to relax with gardens, great spa services, as well as steam and sauna. The staff and dining was terrific!
A hidden gem.
A lovely and enchanting property with spectacular views of paradise. The room was impeccably clean and modern. Hotel staff were efficient, kind and courteous and the hotel’s amenities were top-notch. Walk to the beach in about 7 minutes!
Very friendly staff with stunning view. We arrived later than their regular check in time, text messages via Expedia were answered right away and all arrangements were made including dinner reservation.
The resort is beautiful! Everyone working there is very welcoming and attentive! They are amazing! Special shout-out to Romeo, he was amazing and so friendly and accommodating. The food is to die for, compliments to the chef and his staff. Thank you to everyone for making our honeymoon so special.
Beautiful hotel with immaculate Attention to detail and service Highly recommend for your stay in Lagos
Excellent location. Pricey, but you cannot beat the view or modern rooms.
Beautiful location, excellent staff. Quiet and away from the crowds.
Nelson and Jose Luis were great Nelson and Jose Luis were great
Lovely little boutique hotel with ocean views
The grounds were lovely. While the view in our deluxe sweet wasn’t quite as we had hoped, the common area/lawn/pool more than made up for it. Food was excellent (dinner menu in particular), and while the breakfast was light, it was a refreshing variety.
Lacking in the detail to make it boutique
Although the hotel is located in a beautiful spot, it is difficult to find and it’s well off the beaten track. We couldn’t find the hotel on arrival and calling at the neighboring Wellness hotel to ask directions resulted in a crazy “we have no idea where vivenda Miranda is”. Parking is at a premium but mostly there’s a certain malaise among the staff. So many warmed to us but relayed HR issues that caused them all to fear for their jobs especially as all tips go to the hotel not them. The owner we saw on several occasions but he chose to avoid any words of welcome. There was only one English Channel available “CNBC!” On the tv in their premium room! The ac froze up daily so to wrap up. Great potential but suffers from a fawlty towers syndrome. Did I forget the neighbors barking dog kudjo? Barked for 24 hours a day. To sum up nice place but has zero personality for the $$$ paid.
Ideal if you want to go away relax and unwind great restaurant and fantastic views
Lovely hotel very quiet, the food was excellent not a big menu but everything fresh, it is set in the top of a cliff which has spectacular views. They had a slight problem with the electric while we were there so we had no air con, but overall a lovely hotel.
Perfection
Beautiful room, fantastic location, friendly helpful staff. Perfect stay!!
The property is absolutely gorgeous. The room was fantastic as well. Food was good too. The staff was mixed in terms of service. Sometimes helpful somethings not at all.
Absolutely beautiful location room was very nice but the kitchen and evening staff are a total mess don’t eat there we waited 2 + hours only to be told they were out of two of the four things we ordered total circus...
Beautiful hotel, great service!!
Top notch hotel with top notch service. Breakfast was ok.
Vivenda Miranda (top place)
A great location beautiful views and ideal place for taking walks along the coast. It is about 30 minutes walk from the centre or a 6 minute taxi ride. Lots of choices for vegetarians and vegans. Absolutely loved our time here my only little criticism would be breakfast choices were the same every day. The breakfast staff were a little slow at serving guests, even when there were just a few. Waiting for a coffee or egg would take over 10mins to arrive.
The location is beautiful but the whole stay was disappointing with too many things to list that went wrong. However, the hotel was just about to close for refurbishment and, although that doesn't account for all the problems, we have been offered a free night as compensation when they re-open. We have been told our expectations will be exceeded so, to be fair to the hotel who are trying to put things right, we hope to give a good review next March.
Lovely hotel. Beautifully situated. Excellent restaurant too!
Nice location, View & Room. The AC was not working in our room and the extractor fan from the kitchen below was excessively noisy but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay
Lovely hotel with helpful staff and beautiful cliffside views. Dinner was pricey (I guess to be expected at a nice hotel?).
Reception lobby was being remodeled, make shift check in restaurant lobby.
Tired, poor parking, bad table service
Car parking for just a few vehicles, congested road outside. Building works in progress for meeting rooms which will exacerbate parking. Breakfast service was poor and range of food "hidden" because you are not offered hot food but you learn it is available if you ask. Room OK. Tired hotel. Not best value.
Lovely quiet hotel. Beautiful views and attentive staff.
Significant building works in progress
Front desk staff very helpful and pleasant. Facilities affected by weather and building works. Dining - limited, repetitive dinner menu quite expensive. Buffet breakfast good.
Smell of sewage and mosquitoes... need I say more?
Simply wonderful!
Spent two nights here and was absolutely delightful! Had a wonderful ocean facing view with a large suite room. Exceeded our expectations. The views from the room and the pool and lounging area were breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel was very clean. The room was comfortable with a beautiful huge bathroom. Parking lot was a bit cramped, so we opted to park on the street. Breakfast included with stay offered nice selection of foods.
The beautiful Algarve
We arrived (the street was not super obvious but we found it) "early". They upgraded us/ checked us in right away. Offered a welcome drink. The breakfast were great. You can ask for eggs made a special way and for a latte vs just coffee.. all included. We did have to drive into town for sight seeing and just want to the public parking lot (3 Euro). Our full day was overcast :-( but we enjoyed. I really liked the "hike" down to the beach. Stunning views. I went to the free yoga class on Wed morning. Very nice. More stretch than strain...
Girls weekend stay
Staff and room were great. It was outside of town but less than a €5 can ride to get there. Great stay overall, would highly recommend!
Wonderful loaction , views and ground stunningly beatutiful.Care need to me made when selecting room as they do vary in style and quality. We will return.
Lovely peaceful seaside hotel
My daughter and I stayed here for three nights and enjoyed it very much. It's a little far from the center of town, so we didn't dine out as we'd expected to. We enjoyed the food at the hotel so much, though, that we didn't mind. its a little walk down to the public beach, but certainly manageable if you're reasonably fit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Spa services were lovely.
The hotel was amazing. The staff was attentive and even arranged excursions. We arrived late and Marianna quickly got us to the restaurant for dinner. My friend had prawn, yes it was one but huge! I had the rack of lamb it was outstanding. The view is breathtaking. The grounds and common area were impeccable. Overall expensive but worth it. Downside far from town, but quiet and next to beach.
Exclusive and Romantic
This place has the best views in the Algarve! Completely secluded in local neighborhood on point overlooking the sea. It is small and exclusive so you aren't overwhelmed with tourists! Good was some of the best we've ever experienced. Bruno took such great care of us and is well versed in all local food and wine. 5 min car ride into town. Path down backside of property leads to what amounts to private beach. 5-10 people on beach max the entire 3 days. Could not recommend this place enough.
Beautiful location
We were upgraded to a beautiful ocean front room. The view is breath taking. Rooms are big and very comfortable. Great hike along the cliffs right from the front of the hotel. You can stop at a beautiful beach below (few restaurants there as well) or continue on for as far as the eye can see. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Short taxi to downtown Lagos. Highly recommended it.
piece of heaven
Can't say enough. Small, intimate, personal and tropical location.

This property has amazing views of the cliffs and ocean, and the sunsets we saw from our suite were stunning! Not to mention the gorgeous rainbows over the ocean! The staff were friendly, helpful, professional and efficient. They made us feel welcome! Our suite was well furnished, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom spacious and beautiful. The spa was so relaxing and our services were excellent. The dining room has a magnificent view of the ocean. Our dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious and the service excellent. They knew it was my husband's birthday and brought him a special treat! The young lady who served breakfast each morning was so helpful and kind. Breakfast was relaxed and there was a wide variety of foods.
