Soap & shampoo were awful. Housekeeping staff woke us every morning by knocking on the door and walking in, while sleeping. Floor rugs stained. Eggs were awful and not real. Not really close to anything other than the Eiffel Tower. Clearly only a two to three star hotel at best.

Great location that when you walk up to the Main Street you have immediate views of the Eiffel Tower. It was quiet, no noise at night. Comfortable bed, nice fluffy towels and we enjoyed the sauna! Friendly staff

I’ve stayed here three or four times and have always enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location. This time, however, I noticed that the property is looking a bit shabby. Not terrible, but definitely in need of some attention. There was quite a large hole in the ceiling of the shower - a perfect place for mould to accumulate.

The handicap room could have been a little more wheelchair friendly like the door.

Close to Eiffel Tower

Check in went smooth. The staff was nice and courteous and understood and spoke English well. The front is staffed 24 hours. The standard room and bathroom was small but I heard to be typical of the area. We were on the second floor at the end of the hall near the coffee lounge which was nice since I easily can get by coffee. They have a great coffee machine that gave really good espresso drinks. Only thing I wish they had were a fridge, microwave, and an iron. The location was nice and quiet, and away from busy tourist location but an easy walk to the Eiffel Tower and metro. If I stayed here again I would look to get a larger room but nice stay overall.

Overall a good stay. There was construction outside the hotel that was a bit noisy throughout the day (not at night) it also made it difficult for any taxi to drive up to the hotel. Not the hotel's fault. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean.

Excellent hotel in a very quiet area and views of the Eiffel Tower. Staff are very polite and friendly always offering some great ideas on where to go and places to eat. Breakfast was really good quality plenty to choose from. We had 5th floor room and a lovely balcony. From start to finished we had lovely time here and would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is an amazing hotel thats locating in a quiet part of Paris, but still easily walkable to the Eiffel Tower. Staff was great and the rooms were clean. I highly recommend the breakfast which had a lot of options. Will definitely stay here on my next trip!

Nice hotel, terrible air conditioning

The room itself was quite nice but this hotel has one huge detail that was not mentioned to us when we booked. They are an eco friendly hotel and upon arrival we learned they they do not allow the room temp to be less than a 7 degree difference from outside. The first day we stayed it was 85 degrees outside. That meant our room was 77 degrees which was so hot we were sweating in our own room. There was nothing the staff could do. Anything that was nice about the hotel disappeared as we lay in bed at night with no blanket, no clothes, and still sweating.

Unsanitary

Upon arrival at 10:30am, I was told that my room was not ready which is normal. I returned at 4pm, and was given the room I entered it to find a small tub of cream and a dirty rag on the tabletop. When I complained that the room was neither clean and it seemed like someone had used the room for their personal pleasure without cleaning up behind themselves, the only response was an apology letter and a small box of chocolates. This is the first time I stay at this hotel and it will be the last. I travel regularly for UNESCO and this hotel would be perfect for these missions but the lack of sufficient explanation and the poor response to any requests that I made left me with no faith in the cleanliness or the customer service on a corporate level. The staff tried their best to make light of the situation and had I not had my work colleague and my daughter arrive with me at the same time, I would have raised more of an issue but I chose to ignore, clean the space myself and never to stay there again.

Pleasant stay

Overall a pleasant stay. Staff are very attentive, room was very clean and had a nice fresh smell. There are not as many facilities in the hotel compared to other cities. The area surrounding the hotel was rather small, a village feel. There is not much to do in the area you would need to travel by uber or walk to the train station to get to main attractions or for more variety of food etc.

This is a good hotel very close to the Eiffel Tower. Clean, modern, minimalist but comfortable. The breakfast is one of the best in town. The bar is open, and the concept of Honesty Bar is a convenient concept. The bed and bedding set will give you a very good rest for sure. There is a garden to read, smoke or having a chat. Very nice atmosphere. I will repeat this hotel in the future.

Stayed at this hotel as part of a friendly getaway. Good location with a market right outside and Eiffel Tower in close distance. Transport links were good too. Hotel ambiance was very nice and there’s open access to free tea and coffee via a machine all day.

The property was very nice. Rooms were modern and clean. The rooms weren’t large but were sufficient for our needs. We only needed the room for sleep and showering anyway. The staff was very helpful and helped as we needed. The breakfast, while nothing fancy was a good way to start the day. The neighborhood is VERY quiet. Perhaps it was because it was August but there was very little activity at all around. It was close to walk to the Eiffel Tower, nice restaurants and transportation. We enjoyed the stay for sure.

Our stay was great the room was quiet and comfortable, I do wish that there would have been at least one English Channel on tv as it would have been nice to watch the news or a late night movie. The staff were all very receptive and helpful. There were also a good selection of restaurants, grocery stores, a market and a bakery in the area.

This hotel is in a great location- close to the Eiffel Tower other historical monuments, a grocery, butcher shop and bakery. My room was also quite spacious for Paris, as I was expecting something much smaller. The staff however made my stay an excellent experience. I was unfortunately affected by the Heathrow flight cancellations over the bank holiday weekend. The staff at Hotel Villa Saxe Eiffel went above and beyond to assist me. They arranged my Eurostar and taxi. Special shoutout to Latina at the front desk for doing this for me. Breakfast is also very good, great options even for vegetarians. I will definitely return to this hotel and recommend to anyone.

The hotel was nice but the location is not spectacular. They have cops 24hrs a day at the end of the driveway and it's pretty far from anything "happening". Overall my stay was good and room was clean and comfortable. But I would not recommend the location to anyone as I spent a ton of money on Uber trying to get to more.

Stayed 3 night 2 rooms. The staff were all very pleasant. The hotel is really more of a boutique sized hotel with the amenities small sized. The location was good but in a quite area. But the segur blvd subway station is about 8 min walk and you need to transfer to other lines to get to the attractions. We took Uber as well and it was usually about $25 to go from the hotel to any of the main attractions so it was convenient. the management needs to think of upgrading worn finishes such as furniture and carpeting. The bed was ok, neither soft or stiff. The bathroom was an issue. Very small and of course with the typical small European glass screen at the shower the floor gets very wet. They did not really clean while there. We could tell. The bathroom was not wiped with any cleaner or the carpet not vacuumed. I would expect at a four-star hotel that bathrooms and room should be cleaned and sanitized each day.

The staff was great the expresso machine in the lounge puts you over the top, The windows and the tv very cool and your tv had more english options than anywhere, I was in paris venice asterdam and back to paris. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a stunning view. The bed was soft and cozy, and I appreciated the extra touches like a complimentary water bottle and coffee maker. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's amenities. The fitness center was top-notch and had everything I needed for a great workout. I also loved spending time at the hotel's lobby, which was sparkling clean and had all what you need like coffee machine, beverages and iMac. Finally, the location of the hotel was ideal. It was close to many great restaurants, attractions and public transportation,I loved being able to easily explore the local area. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Villa Saxe Eiffel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. Staff was great, very polite and helpful. Actual room wasnt great for this class of hotel. Shower glass was so small that it was impossible not to get water all over the bathroom floor.

A Disappointment in the 7th

The Villa Saxe Eiffel was a long-time favorite of mine & Unesco, which is nearby. It had excellent, professional service, comfortable rooms, pretty good breakfast, and a library that was open 24 hours. We could stop by for coffee or wine, even fresh fruit. Last week I faced a chaotic check-in (despite 3 people at reception), room problems that went unfixed until late, and a dreary room that was apparently due to renovation. The proprietor of a nearby hotel said that the Saxe had recently been sold and was now staffed by untrained youngsters. For example, when I asked the front desk if I could see the room where I had last stayed--and loved--he said the Saxe doesn't keep track of stays and added that it never had. Which just isn't true. They once greeted returning customers: "Bienvenue. Tellement bon de vous revoir."

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable with a nice balcony. breakfast was excellent. Staff as excellent. Easy to walk to a range of restaurants. Would definitely go back!

Good overall stay

Great stay in a great location. Excellent view of the Eiffel Tower just 100m from the hotel entrance. Only cons were the bedding was on the extreme firm along with the pillows and the air in the rooms were bit dry. But other than that great stay. Early checkin was granted and the staff was great.

Villa Saxe Eiffel is a great hotel and conveniently located (you can literally see the Eiffel Tower down the street from the hotel). They've got a great breakfast spread in the mornings, staff are super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were great. Would recommend this hotel for any business travellers or couples/families.

Good hotel overall

Excellent, helpful, friendly staff!!! Very nicely appointed, convenient honor bar and coffee area... Quiet, if you're looking for an area with more activity, this isn't it thought it's a 10 min walk to the Metro, 20 to Eiffel Tower...would not stay again with our kids because the WiFi was horrible which made catchup on email/planning and streaming for the kids annoying..to be fair, I assumed it was bad and did not seek staff help for improved WiFi

The room was advertised with ac and room climate control . Paris was 29degress when I stayed. When I complained about my ac not working the hotel response was that it was not yet summer and I should just open the windows. Two nights, over €500 for bo sleep.

I don’t even know where to begin, there are too many pluses for which I recommend this hotel. The staff are beyond helpful and kind. The rooms are modern, clean, and don’t feel stuffy. We didn’t have noise issues, which is a huge plus. I loved the location in a cute alley. When you walk out of the alley and look to your right, the Eiffel Tower greets you every time. I will definitely stay here when I ho back! My brother and cousin also agree with me (they stayed here as well). Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Solo business trip - location was the best bit

Booked the hotel on the basis of the location for my business trip so from that point it ticked the box but apart from that its negative points im afraid. A €19 breakfast which wasnt worth it as wasnt much choice it all. The hotel doesnt offer any restaurant or bar services or room service. My trip was for business and involved working long hours and at night time after enduring noise complaints for 5 hrs i informed the hotel and they couldnt/wouldnt move rooms or offer any gesture of good will. They also wouldnt refund my breakfast fee for the days despite not wanting the breakfast after discovering the minimal choice after day 1. I wont be returning to this hotel when i revisit Paris.

The hotel is in a quiet location with a short 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. It’s pretty centrally located, with just a 10 minute walk to the metro. There are several small cafés, shops, bars, and restaurants close by. The hotel was clean, modern, spacious, and staff was so wonderful and accommodating. I had the absolute best experience staying at Villa Saxe. I would love to stay here again for our next Paris trip!

Overall good but few shortcomings

Overall the hotel and room was nice but had a few shortcomings. Netflix in our room didn’t work and despite telling the receptionists on 2 separate days they didn’t send anyone to fix it - they told us to just watch Netflix on our phone. The location was nice in a sense that you could see the Eiffel Tower from the main road leading to the hotel but it was actually about a 30 minute walk to the tower. The closest metro was a 10 minute walk. When we arrived around midnight we discovered there was no room service so we couldn’t get hot food right away but the receptionist was nice enough to order something for us via Deliveroo. Mini bar was at room temperature.

Great hotel for a quiet stay in Paris

Did not receive house keeping services after being told I could receive a late in the day cleaning. Otherwise, the hotel was great. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and clean. Excellent location: quiet, safe, close to attractions and multiple metro stops, very navigable.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It's perfectly located in the beautiful Paris 7e in a quiet neighbourhood. The rooms are clean and well decorated. I requested a balcony for our stay and the hotel was able to accommodate us which was really nice! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

From start to finish, our 5 day stay at the Hotel Villa Saxe Eiffel was nothing short of perfect. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30am and from the second we walked through the doors we were made to feel at home, although our check in wasn’t until 3pm we arrived to discover that our room was already ready for us which was a great surprise. The room was stunning, a modern room with a Parisien touch. Extremely clean and up to a fine standard. We stayed in the most basic room and yet there was still so much room for the two of us. Couldn’t of asked for anything better. The location of the hotel is next to none, you walk out of the hotel, up a small street, look right and the Eiffel Tower is right in view. Also close to many of Paris’ most known landmarks. The staff are amazing and so helpful, they all spoke English which helped us a lot since our French isn’t as good as we would like. Honestly I have nothing but good things to say about this place, I just want to thank them for making our 3rd time in Paris so memorable and so amazing.

The hotel had a lovely modern feel with a large bed and nice vibe. We enjoyed the location. The toilet was separate to the bathroom which usually would be a good idea however there was no hand wash basin in the toilet. The lighting was very dark and it would’ve been nice to have a make up mirror on the dressing table.

It was great! Hard to catch Uber's from the area however.
