This is a good value hotel for Short stays. Rooms are clean and very basic, with limited facilities however if you’re planning to be out all day that’s fine. Handy to have the Metro within 15 minute walk To get to and from the centre of Rome. In the middle of a quiet residential area, with a few local bars and restaurants nearby.
Transportation never be on time.. you can hear all noises from next room.. hot and cold water on and off..
One Night Near FCO Before Flight Home
The hotel was a good place to stay before flying home after a 4 week vacation in Italy. The room was clean. It had ample room for our luggage so we could repack before our flight, a comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom. The few things that we didn't like were not important enough for us not to stay there again, but I will mention them to help others make a decision. The toilet was very close to the glass wall of the shower. As seniors, it was difficult to sit and stand. There was nothing to hang on to in order to assist us. The glass shower had no door, was shorter than others we had used, so the water sprayed on the floor. The lights on either side of the bathroom mirror were so bright, it was impossible to see well enough to put on makeup.
Just ok
The room was very nice but the hotel was just a large empty building. It was very bare. Nothing really around. The staff was very cold and unwelcoming. Not a bad place to stay for one night.
The shower was extremely small, the toilette didn't properly flush, the room had damage to it. Was not worth the money for the time being. Also the front desk was not helpful regarding transportation or restaurant recommendations.
Very kind front desk attendant! Awesome entrance (though I’d recommend a less yellow lighting). But an admittedly eerie building with an odd feel and strange design/construction. I hope they fix the AC in room 128.
Friendly staff.
Once we found our way to the metro to get to city centre everything worked well.
Staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was full of options and tasty. Very reasonably priced.
Terrible aircon, hostel like. Clean rooms.
Aircon takes an hour to make a difference, tired, basic hotel. Well cleaned and shower was good. No way to iron any clothes.
On the positive side, the room is clean and quiet. The breakfast is decent. The staff are friendly On the negative side, the location is the main issue. The property is close to nowhere, far from the center of the city. The nearest metro is a 15 minute walk. The room is basic. No restaurants close by. No refrigerator. A/C does not work super well (though you can open window at night to cool the room down).
Lovely front staff, friendly wait staff, nice and quiet property
Friendly staff, good breakfast
I dont recommend this place as its out in the middle of nowhere and the Staff can be very rude. If you are a tourist exploring Rome, there is nothing there. Just to get to a store, you will have to walk 20-30 mins down a hill to get to a street. NO ROOM SERVICE! The AC is LIMITED! TERRIBLE PLACE!!
Spartan accommodations
The triple-room (last available room) for two of us looked like a college dorm room, very spartan. The shower was tiny and there was no safe in the room. We paid about $500 for the first night because we were desperate, no other hotel rooms available in the area. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was helpful.
Terrible
Quiet
Bugs in the room
Room very small and old. I had to change it because of bugs, but also in the second room there were some. The girl at the reception the first night wasn't nice and I had to find a way to figure out the issues. I was expecting at least something from the hotel to cope with the probles I had, but nothing happened. At the check out none asked me about the staying and my satisfaction
We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the stadium where we were seeing a concert that night. The property itself is really interesting, while the rooms were a little old but with anything you need, there were lots of open green areas and beautiful spaces surrounding the property. Breakfast was abundant and the staff were more than cordial. The property is also not too far from the center of Rome- in less than 30 min on the metro, you can arrive at all of the major destinations. The only thing to note would be that the metro is about a 15-min walk away and at night it's important to keep track of when the metro closes. Overall it was the perfect place for our needs!
Pretty room, great breakfast and convenient to subway.
Rome visit
Distance to our sites were far from the hotel, ie Vacation, st. Peter's, museums, etc. Website was deceiving.
Excellent for 50 Euros, horrible for 160 Euros.
The hotel has very positive reviews. But these reviews are relevant for a price that is the basic price of these hotel rooms (50 Euros) so it should be understood to be an excellent hotel for a two star hotels (that's what 50 Euros give you in Rome). I paid 160 Euros for the same hotel room. So rooms can be raised 300% and even more depending on how full the hotel is. For that price, the service was clearly substandard: 1) very old forniture; 2) looks like an old hospital; 3) very thin walls (very bad if neighbors are doing sex, as in my case); 4) mediocre breakfast. The employees are nice though.
Location was good for me. Breakfast was fine. Room rather basic
Trip to Rome
Clean room. Asked for fridge and kettle and got both. Excellent service.
For those who rent car to drive around Rome it is very convenient, free parking.
Dump
Put me in three different rooms before they gave me one with working AC. Put me on top floor that was like an insane asylum, moved me to 2nd still broken AC. Finally brought me to the 1st floor which was OK but still mids.
I don't recommend driving in Rome, but if you do have a car and want a convenient location with secure parking, this is a great place. Near to the airport, walking distance to a subway station. The place itself is light on charm, but it's everything you need at a good price.
Not a great choice if you can go somewhere else
The local area is horrific. Either you go there for business and you need to be around otherwise just go somewhere else. You can hardly find a restaurant and there is nothing at all to do. Close to the Metro though. Small room, very basic. WiFi ok. I honestly think it is too expensive for what it is. Breakfast is alright
Friendly staff. Away from the Rome hubris, but only a short metro ride away from the center. ( 10 minute walk to the metro)
Former school stracter so building desing are intresting but just one problem was ground floor make noise(Crossfit) from Fitness gy did droping weight noise.
Nice
Very good n quiet location .close to public transport
Nice hotel close to Rome Metro
Within walking distance to the Metro (Laurentina or EUR Fermi), it is located at the top of a hill, so be prepared in hot temperatures and take advantage of central Rome's water fountains before travelling back. The hotel itself is fine and visually pleasing inside. Nice and quiet outside of main central Rome
Decent Budget Hotel with Excellent Amenities
The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room my husband and I stayed in was fantastic. They provided us with a small gift as it was our honeymoon. Not expected. How the other rooms are within the hotel, I can not say but our room was clean and nicely renovated. Its a great place for value for money with great buffet breakfast choices. If you are on a budget, than this is right place to stay. However it is out of the main city. It is easy to get to via Metro. When you arrive at the station, just walk towards the bus station and cross the road towards the shops. The hotel is about 10mins away from the Metro however it is located on top of a small hill. So it can be tiring dragging your suitcase up the hill. Make sure you get off at Rome Terminal and catch the Metro from there if you are travelling by train. Negative: Buffet Breakfast in the morning, staff does not stock up with clean plates or cups. Your standing there searching for cutlery to get breakfast. When you ask the staff, they only bring out a small amount of cutlery which inturn only last for 2 mins.
The hotel reminds me of an abandoned hosputal from the 70's that was turned into a hotel. The A/C didn't cool the room at all. It was 28 Celsius all night. The wifi barely had one bar and constantly cut off. The front desk said they didnt have any rooms to change us to. Refused to come look at the A/C and said the wifi in the lobby works so it is fine upstairs. The mattresses were extremely rough and we got a room for 3 people and the other bed was a crappy roll out bed in front of our bed. I asked to get a partial refund and they told me no because I already paid. I asked to talk to the manager and was told they are not here on sundays. Terrible service, terrible rooms and wish I had never stayed.
I booked this hotel as part of my business travel plans as it was closest to where I needed to be. To my dismay, I was called in the morning if my booking whilst I was in transit from another European city, only to be told that my booking was cancelled as the hotel was having “issues” and I have been booked into a hotel elsewhere. This other hotel was also 20 minutes further away.
Good for parking
The reception area is gorgeous, but that's where it stops. The hallway to the rooms feels very clinic. The rooms are very basic, and even though the towels, sheets and toilet were clean, everything else was filthy! There was black mould on the window, the remote was so dirty you could barely see the buttons, and the shower was grubby! Breakfast was surprisingly ok. It's convinient if you have a car, for the parking, but wouldn't stay there for any other reason.
Nice hotel near to the train station busses
Excellent breakfasts, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms
One night
Ok but not tea or coffee making which is poor
dated and dirty
very unconforteble shame i can t post pics
Quick one night stay.
The room is clean as are the premises, and the warm greeting by the front desk despite our midnight arrival was appreciated. Nice little interior garden to relax, but no breakfast or light meal to be offered.
Unacceptable
We booked hotel and get confirmation one week before we arrived, when we arrived they told us they did not have any available room for us, and we should move to other hotel with all luggage.
Good Hotel
The hotel was nice, the staff were friendly, especially Nicoletta who really helped us out. The room was big and nice, washroom was nice and the air condition worked. We enjoyed our stay here although it was only for one night. The area is safe and quiet, not a whole lot to do at night we noticed so if you like going out to drink, it's probably not the spot for you.
Excellent hotel and very nice staff
Nice hotel and in a walking distance to the metro and bus stations; staff all very nice; facilities are very clean and after all when you are on vacation all you need is a place to sleep and clean yourself up.
interesting hotel
value for money stay at an unusual monastery-type converted residence
Great breakfast
Great breakfast with lots of choice and excellent quality. Great for those with food intolerances as my wife is dairy intolerant and was catered for well. Room was comfortable but nothing flashy. Area seemed safe and quiet, but it was a brisk 15-20 minute walk to the nearest metro station. Great value for money, though.
Convenient and clean hotel
Located in EUR. Clean and nice hotel. Big rooms. Easy access to shopping mall and the airport.
the bathrooms are dirty with a lot mold on the walls
Nice hotel
Nice hotel. rooms are great except for the air conditioner. You have to insert a card in your room in order to have electricity and air conditioner. In July, it does not get cold enough in the room
Not what I expected.
I was expecting more for the price. This place is hidden and not much to do in the area.
Safe, peaceful and quiet, ten minutes to metro
Wonderful, restful stay. Pines and smells are great. Helpful friendly staff, big room, nice terrace. Nice selection of breakfast food. Perhaps not ideal if you have walking, mobility problems (unless you have a car.)
Quiet hotel at an interesting location
The hotel is a renovated monastery with some modern additions. A swimming pool and a gym for the locals is on the quiet campus. I am not sure if guests are allowed to use. Probably not.
Convenient location to metro station
Staff was very helpful with suggestion on how to get to Vatican City and central Rome. The restaurant staff was also helpful and the buffet breakfast was good.
Not a four star hotel in my opinion. No internet in the rooms
Nice setting, too far from downtown Rome, Internet did not w0rk in rooms.
Average hotel, far from Rome's main attractions
hotel was average. poor location, looks rough. far from Rome's attractions (colosseum around 30 min metro and walk). room was basic, shower was old and small. receptionist was helpful but only one person manned the desk so took long time to get assistance. could not get wifi in the room, very annoyed! room had fridge which did not work and had a very bad smell. breakfast was ok, very basic spread. overall it was ok for price we paid but not worthy of 3 stars. i suggest going for a better area closer to the things you want to see/do. would not stay here again.
Good Value
Good location if you're driving, with free parking, very quiet and 10 minutes walk to the metro. Breakfast wasn't the best but fairly standard for a cheaper European hotel. Rooms are clean, fairly basic but adequate. Overall, very good value for the price.
Pluses and Minuses
The Villa EUR is in a very quiet location. It is just under a km walk to two different Metro stations (Laurentina and Fermi), unfortunately uphill on the return. The hotel restaurant was OK. There are no other good restaurants within an easy walk. Wi-fi did not work well in our second floor room. I usually had to sit in our open door to get an adequate signal. The breakfast selection was very good.
Generally Good Hotel
Generally, very typical European hotel. Breakfast was better than most. Within walking distance of Metro Laurentina terminus. It will take time to get into Rome. We selected it to be close to apartment where family lives. Front desk staff very helpful on directions. Hotels.com website lists an indoor pool. We were told there is no pool in the hotel. After leaving, looked at hotel website which says "Sports center with a swimming pool that welcomes our guests". So, who knows?
Disaster
Didnt let us check out, even with the expedia confirmation payment, pay twice for the room, old rooms noise, won't don't let pass reviews fool you. Don't make the same mistake I made, Rome such and amazing place to have bad hotel memories
Comoda struttura avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione
Tutto ok
Tutto ok come da aspettative
Camera pulita, arredi datati, nessun bidet. Parcheggio a pagamento 1€/ora max 10 € giorno.
Nice hotel!
We really liked this hotel! Clean, nice and friendly staff. We decided to stay one extra night in Rome and found this hotel late, wish we stayed all of the days here :) Around 10-15 min walking from the metro station. /Nora
Staff molto gentile e professionale. Colazione ottima e di qualita'. Zona tranquilla .
Servizio ottimo. Staff eccezionale.
Good and safe location. Excellent rooms but a little noisy because of the doars. Excellent staff.
Nice place
Bagno sprovvisto di bidet, servizio scontato in Italia ormai anche all’estero, inoltre, hotel periferico con parcheggio auto a pagamento oraria come in centro città.
Estadia boa
Roma EUR
Arredi molto discutibili e bagni in pessime condizioni.
Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, grande posteggio, ottima posizione all'EUR
Prima Hotel , Heerlijk eten ,vriendelijk personeel Wel kleine hotelkamer, maar dat is overkomelijk Dicht bij congrescentrum great hotel, Delicious food, friendly staff Small hotel room, but that's manageable Close to convention center
Manutenzione pari a zero tutto rotto e arruginito. Saponi e bagnoschiuma in dispenser ricaricati e assolutamente anti igienici.
A genuine good stay
A very spacious room with a good bed - and effective air conditioning (28-30 deg. at night) Kind and helpful service / staff. Breakfast with all one could ask for

Very friendly staff, comfortable room and bed. Transport links great. Recommend!
