Great customer service, clean and aesthetically pleasing room.

A bit far from city center. But close to bus stops. Easy to reach attractions. Nice staffs and nice room. Quite and warm villa.

The property may be ideal for casual activists. It is not suitable for family and businessmen. My family of 4 stayed there for 4 nights after we paid online before the stay. Upon checked-in at their other property (Das Grune Bio Hotel Zur Post) which was located about 400 metres away , we humbly asked for an iron and an ironing board from the reception. We were shocked when the receptionist told us that they don't provide iron and that we need to come over to their main hotel (Das Grune Bio Hotel Zur Post) which was about 400 metres away if we want to iron our clothes and have breakfast. We told them that we don't need breakfast. However, we had to carry our clothes and brought it over to their main hotel (Das Grune Bio Hotel) for 4 consecutive days to iron our clothes. It was really a shocking experience to my family throughout our many years of travelling around Europe and other parts of the world. We had no choice but had to do it because the stay had been paid for prior to our arrival. We will be more wary of such a horrible accommodation and its ridiculous arrangement in future. They should have been more sensible and understanding of customer's need. The staff may be nice but not so helpful to look into our simple need. They could have lend us the iron and ironing board which was not used by anybody during the 4 days. Horrible service culture. Not worth the value paid.

It felt a little odd that it was off-site from the main hotel.

30 min walk to the city, but I needed a parking spot on premise and trams/buses were available right outside of the property. It suited my needs.

Decent place let down by a few flaws

Decent place in a well-connected location; rooms are large. Service was professional overall. Despite specifically booking this hotel because they advertise a double-bed room I in fact had 2 single beds in my room (and at 2 metres tall this was not ideal). I also had the cleaning staff wake me up at 8.30 on the day I was checking out by coming into my room. The staff at check out did not seem to be remotely concerned by either of these things.

2 nights stay

We choose the villa for our trip to Salzburg because of the parking. The villa is about 150 meter away from the hotel where the check in/out is located. The villa is about 1.5 mile away from the old city of Salzburg, a solid walk of 20-25 minutes. Our room is at the third floor, so have to carry the bags up the stairs. The room is big enough for three of us, bathroom is a nice size. The room is clean. Because the room has no air condition, and the two days we were there , the temperature as about 30C, we have to open all the widows to cool down the room in the evening, and road in front of the house is the major road to the old town with a lot of traffic, so it was very noise.

We found insects (spiders, and ants in the room) and no air conditioning. We decided to leave the hotel immediately and find another hotel.

Good for Cool Air Stay

The room was nice and clean and located closely to downtown, however, 35+ in the heat was almost unbearable at night because there is no air conditioning. I would stay there again if it were cooler but NOT of it were hot.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The family room was very large and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice clean hotel, but located on street noisy area

The hotel is too close to a main road and noisy . If you don’t mind car passing noise then it is great hotel

Salzburg and Steigl

Very nice space. The check-in was off-site but very close. The coffee and bread cafe across the street was great. The heart of Salzburg was close for bikes (rented from the check-in front desk), but a bit far of a walk. Do not miss Steigl brewery just back a few streets (although google maps had the entrance on the wrong side) and Augustiner is fantastic too.

Lovely, big, spacious room

The hotel is just outside of the city centre, very convenient if you want to avoid city accommodation prices. It's a short journey into the city (5 stops and the bus stops outside the hotel and drops you right into the city centre). The room was big and spacious, the shower was powerful and very good! The Salburg card is worth getting for all the sights and for the bus journeys.

Convenient location easy parking clean room good beds

Very nice comfortable beds. They just need to put a mini fridge, other then that, there is nothing wrong. Highly recommend it!!

Very spacious room with free parking

Very large and spacious room with free parking. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the center of Salzburg which will not pose a problem for those up for a walk. Very quick and smooth check in and check out.

Good value

The hotel is located just outside downtown Salzburg, with an easy connection by bus. It delivers what it offers, including a very convenient free parking area. I woud stay there again.

Counter staff was friendly and professional. In general, it is a decent room except no fridge.

Suite deal

Great place to stay. Quiet, nice views of the surrounding mountains. The suite was well equipped.

Surprise extra fees at check in

Our room was big enough, no air conditioning though. The one major bad thing to me is even though I paid fully with Hotels.com before I got there, they still charged me 30 Euros for taxes and fees and I repeat I paid 23 Euros of taxes and fees on Hotels.com in my price. So for that reason only I do not recommend that Hotel/ "boarding house". I know I will never go back there again. And the wi fi sucked the bag...

Comfortable and clean!!

Very clean, comfortable and quiet hotel, would recommend it to all guests. Try the fantastic Italian Cavalo restaurant downs the street.

There is no reception. You must check in at the hotel Zur post down the street. The floor in the bathroom was heated which was nice

Quiet spot

The room was comfortable and quiet. Unfortunately breakfast was 200 metres down the road which would have been terrible had it been raining. A good 40 minute walk out of the city but still central enough for our needs.

Decent place to stay if you have a car

We booked last minute and this was one of the few choices left that was affordable and has free parking. Walking to town is really far, so it is OK only with car, but parking for a day in town will cost 20+ euros. This is an old building that was totally renovated back around 2008. So everything in the room was relatively new and clean. But there was no elevator. So you will have to drag your luggage up the stairs if you have a room upstairs. When we arrived, we could not find reception. We ringed the bell labelled reception and there was nothing. Luckily, a couple was coming back and told us that reception is 200m down the road at Hotel zur Post at Maxglaner Hauptstraße 45. Breakfast was not included, but offered at 12 euro at Hotel zue Post. We checked it out the next morning and opted to find breakfast in town. WiFi is slow and feeble like in most hotels in Austria. Good thing I have bought a local SIM card to tether my own WiFi. Neighborhood does not offer much although there are a few restaurants within walking distance.

Well priced.

It was a single night in Salzburg and the accommodation is well priced, especially considering the free parking so close to the centre of Salzburg. It was inconvienent that the checkin in was a few 100 meters down the road from the hotel though.

A hotel with AC

We stay at this hotel for one night. It is difficult to find the front desk which is 200 m away from the hotel at a different location. And this is the very first hotel I stay with without air-conditioning

Rain, rain go away!

I may have missed it, but I wish it would have stated that check-in was a block away from the hotel we were staying at...It was really inconvenient to drive to the hotel (in the rain) drive to another hotel to check in...then drive back....As frustrated as the initial "welcome" was...Overall I would stay at this hotel again...its just too bad, all the amenities is at the other hotel...

Convenience of transportation to must-see sights

Hotel was OK but too pricy for the facilities we got.

Good location for buses shopping.

The reception is 200 metres away in another hotel. The is a sign on the door indicating this. We stayed 2 nights at the end of June 2014. We did not have the hotel breakfast. There is a pizza shop directly in front and little bistros etc nearby. A bus to the city also is directly in front. 3.70e for a 24 hour multi trip ticket. Off street car park was good and we had good wifi

A great place to stay in Salzburg

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is easily reached from the old town and the airport by a frequent bus, the rooms are clean and nice. The checkin and staff are down the road 150 yards and across the street. There is a fantastic bakery directly across the street, a good grocery store a block away and the Stiegl brewery with a nice biergarten a few blocks away.

Clean rooms, good location

We enjoyed our recent on night stay at Villa Ceconi. The room was clean and well appointed, and the couch had been setup as a sofa bed to accommodate our 2 daughters. The one downside was a lack of air conditioning during (for Austria) a heat wave. This was especially challenging as we were on the bottom level and there was a note on the windows asking us not to open them for security purposes. We were forced to have them open and they did have bars, but it wasn't an ideal situation. The location for the price was great, just a short drive to the downtown area, and we really enjoyed Salzburg!

Nice Family Run Hotel

Pluses: Very convenient if you are travelling by car; excellent breakfast in a pleasant dining room; polite and friendly staff; nice bathrooms; although it is not in the center of town, it is a quick (7-10 min) bus ride or an easy 15-20 min walk into town; good value Minuses: Rooms are getting a bit shop worn and could use some repainting; a little bit of esthetic sprucing up would make this a much nicer place to stay (maybe add some flowers to the front gardens or add a print or two on the blank walls in the rooms). The vending machines in the entry foyer of the Villa give it the feel of a youth hostel and do not make a good impression when you first arrive.

Yep all good a little out of the centre but 10 euro taxi or 3 euro bus ride approx 10 mins. People not as friendly as the rest of Austria maybe as its close to the German border.

nice and quite

It was a very nice and pleasant place, very friendly staff and best of all free parking, which alone is worth a lot in Europe...would stay there again anytime and give it especially considering the price 5 stars.

Very nice hotel

Very nice hotel with high quality-price level. Rooms are really modern, clean and very comfortable. 1,5 km from city center but easy to reach by foot or by bus (stop in front of the hotel). Recommended.

Top Standard, Service, Frühstück, Öko; etwas laut

Toller Service, Zimmer und Frühstück. Villa bei offenem Fenster etwas laut wegen Autoverkehr, Frühstücksterrasse im Grüne Hotel zur Post leider sehr laut, aber man kann auch drinnen sitzen.

Hübsches Haus, leider mittelmäßiger Komfort

Hübsches altes Haus, große Zimmer und geräumiges, sauberes Bad. Etwas umständlich ist der Check-in in einem anderen Hotel, etwa 150 m weiter. Außerdem leider ohne Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Die fehlende Klimaanlage konnte man leider schlecht durch geöffnete Fenster kompensieren, da die Hauptstraße vor dem Fenster über Nacht unheimlich laut war. Man muss aber dazu sagen, dass zwei Ventilatoren zur Verfügung gestellt wurden, nur wir vertragen das leider nicht so gut.

Gute ÖV anbindung für in die Innenstadt. Kaffee nebenan. Waren zufrieden

Wir wollten zu Fuß zum Hangar 7 laufen, deswegen und wegen des guten Übernachtungspreises haben wir das Haus ausgesucht. In kurzweiligen 20 min waren wir dort. Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich. Man muss nur einmal ins 5 min zu Fuß entfernte Haupthaus zum Check-in und kommt dann mit der Schlüsselkarte ins Haus und dann ins Zimmer. Hotel und Zimmer können wir gerne weiterempfehlen.

Freundliches Personal mit nützlichen Informationen. Alles sauber. Wenig zu beanstanden. Straße nachts etwas laut.

Ich werde nicht noch einmal hierher gehen.

Alles prima, nur die Matratzen waren bisschen sehr weich. Schwache Internetverbindung riss gelegentlich ab.

Acomodação boa, mas distante do centro.

A acomodação é bem tranquila. O quarto é bem espaçoso. A localização não é muito boa, mas se estiver de carro é tranquilo chegar até o centro de Salzburgo.

Very nice

Stayed for one night on a business trip during covid times. Very well kept place with spot cleanness and attention to details. Communication was good, and we had a room change request on arrival and the managers were helpful to accomodate. I'm looking forward to stay again if passing through Austria.

Toller Aufenthalt in Salzburg

Waren sehr zufrieden mit Zimmer 403 in der Villa. Dusche/WC bietet ausreichend Platz für zwei Personen. Die Größe des Schlafraumes ist top. Die Unterkunft liegt circa 30 Minuten zu Fuß von der Altstadt entfernt. Wahlweise fahren aber auch alle paar Minuten Busse von vor der Haustür ab. Reibungsloser Check In und Check Out.

Großes sauberes Zimmer Parkplatz gute Busanbindung

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Parkplatz und Bushaltestelle vor der Haustüre. in 10 Minuten ist man in der Altstadt mit dem Bus und ohne Parkplatzsuche. Bequemer geht es nicht. Zimmer sehr geräumig.

Halbe Stunde zu Fuß in die Altstadt

Positiv: Saubere ausreichend große Zimmer, mäßig ruhig, kleiner Balkon, gute Dusche, Restauration, Supermarkt, Bäckerei vor Ort. Negativ: Recht harte Matratzen, kein Kühlschrank.

Dobry standrad w dobrej cenie, blisko autostrady, dobry dojazd.

Super Hotel in Innenstadtnähe

Der Check-In war schnell und unkompliziert. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr schön modern eingerichtet. Es wird nur noch von einem grandiosen Badezimmer übertroffen. Das Hotel befindet sich in Innenstadtnähe. In circa 20 min steht man mitten in Salzburg. Alles in allem sehr zufrieden!

Die Unterkunft ist ohne Fehl und Tadel, jederzeit weiterzuempfehlen.

Villa Ceconin huone on tilava, siisti, mukava, hiljainen. Reception ja aamiainen on päähotellissa, jonne on pari sataa metriä matkaa. Palvelu on ystävällistä. Aamiainen saatavissa tilauksesta, 18e, luomulaatua. Hotelliin on hyvät liikenneyhteydet. Kohtuullinen kävelymatka Salzburgin keskustaan.

La nostra prima volta a Salisburgo

La struttura è originale nel suo insieme, la nostra camera era arredata con mobili in stile (l'armadio avrebbe bisogno di una riparazione alle ante, basterebbe poco; la tappezzeria delle poltroncine deve essere sostituita perché rotta e macchiata).La posizione assolutamente eccezionale in quanto l'autobus n°1 porta in centro in cinque minuti e le frequenza è ogni dieci. Il nostro breve soggiorno ci ha portato a scegliere di fare colazione in centro per visitare i locali noti come il caffè Tomaselli, ma nelle vicinanze della Villa ci sono possibilità di vario tipo. Il mio giudizio della struttura e positivo va sottolineata la cortesia e la cordialità alla reception.

War sehr zufrieden. Einrichtung war zwar nicht mehr die neueste, aber auch nicht rammschig ;)

Gute gelegenes Schlafquartier

Gute Lage und super Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Zweckmässige Einrichtung mit gutem Platzangebot für die Familie. Lärm dringt vom Flur leicht ein.

Junges, dynamisches und kundenorientiertes Team. Das Zimmer war ausgesprochen sauber, die Einrichtung entspricht dem Preis. Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

Dyr frukost

Vi reste mot Österrike och stannade en natt här. Man bodde i ett större hus och fick gå 500 meter till själva huvudhotellet när man skulle äta frukost. Frukosten skulle vara ekologisk och priset var 180:-per person. Det var den inte på långa vägar värd. Inget större utbud som man skulle kunna förvänta sig till det priset. Lite trist att det var samma pris för barn och vuxna om man ska ta det priset. Skippa fukosten och ät på annat ställe.

Big rooms and comfy beds. Well located close the centrum. Plenty of options of markets, restaurants and services close to hotel. Just be aware that reception are in different hotel 200m from the place, but nothing to really worry about Friendly staff.
