It was such a beautiful hotel and really nice location, didn't have to walk far at all for the beach or food or markets or anything. The staff was extra kind and upgraded my room free of charge! The original room I had was super cute as well and both rooms had an open, nice feel to them with really nice floors and let in a lot of light. I loved the balcony and view from the upgraded room. Definitely would go back.

I stayed in next level above 'Standard' room. Satisfactory. I'd stay again.

Me & my friends book 2 rooms, both room are comfortable & nice. Both rooms are clean, air conditioned & room service are good. The down side was the bath room, it was not being clean & scrub well, for there were a lot of stain in the tiles and toilet bowl. But for those who focus on price & budget wise, it a good choice. Location to legian street (shops, restaurant & bar) & Kuta Beach is just a walking distance.

Way to noisy....wanted a bond....which I got back but was confronted by that.....just a room to sleep in.

Cleanliness and Hygiene is the biggest concern!

I arrived early morning at 2 am and the same day at about 1pm I left the hotel. I was booked in for 2 nights, but couldn’t stand the thick layer of saliva kind mildew under the bath Mat in the tub, the litter bin inside the room was still full from before , there were cigarette buds on the floor in the balcony .. it was a Superioir room but displaced a non hospitality and unhygienic conditions. Will rate it a zero. I moved to a place in Ubud, Bali much better but it’s far from beach , although nearer to mountain areas .

Avoid -too many issues bed bugs rats mould

Housekeeping-0/10 knocking on the doors from 9am (hotel lacked the usual little DND sign) and then when housekeeping was done they never left any towels. Wi-Fi - continually dropped out. Hopeless trying to write and respond to emails. Really slow Bed- the springs were felt. Bed bugs- see the photo, Pillows smelt. Bathroom- mouldy and WC difficult to flush Reception- staff spent their time glued to their phones. When I mentioned the rats their english disappeared. Swimming pool- the covers on the loungers were covered in mildew. To get to the swimming pool one needs to go via a very awkward tunnel where I saw a rat and subsequently avoided. Breakfast- a single dead slice of bread. I also avoided breakfast after I saw a rat jump out of a rubbish bin at the door and run to behind the CBA ATM. I don’t know why the CBA wants to be associated here. Overall as I had to pay before I arrived I had to stay but I would have loved to have left. Definitely not coming back. Electricity- cut off too often, each time it went off and back on too many loud interrupting beeps were heard.

The premises are not clean. Only hot water on two days of nine. Staff friendly but inexperienced

3 minutes walk to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay Vilarisi. The staff was friendly & helpful, room was cleaned every day, the pool was kept nice & clean. Unlimited supply of filtered, cooled water, complimentary coffee ( + refills) and toast at breakfast. Excellent value, considering it was a low cost hotel. Terima kasih Vilarisi.

Good location

Hotel cleanliness & maintenance needs a drastic overhaul. Floors & tables not washed, Bath & hand basin not cleaned, Door to balcony hard to lock & toilet leaking at its base

Short stay

I booked two nights at this hotel under the impression I recieved from information from website, when I got to hotel I asked the reception about laundry facilities only to be told there was none. I shew them there website advertising the laundry facility and also that they advertised that all rooms had balcony, I was in room with no window, they told me that the website was about three years out of date and since new owners took control there was no laundry facility and that the hotel had 49 rooms of which only 37 had balcony. This hotel clearly intends to give out false imformation about its facilities.

Vilarisi name should be Vile arisi

No toiletries, always had to remind them for towels most every day, rats in the dining room, floor never moped in the room, no coffee or tea, no room appliances [jug, toaster , microwave, staff always playing games on there phones - one could go on for days.

Interesting Hotel

The wi-fi doesn't reach many of the rooms because the place is built out of cinderblocks. Also, the drain in the shower/toilet room floor in my room seeps out sewer gas occasionally when the person above me uses his shower. I think the AC may have made me sick as well.

Old hotel with wifi problem

Its look like an old hotel with old structure, old furniture. Toilet is not clean, and I cant access to wifi during my stay. Luckily i stayed there for only 2 nights and move to other hotel. But the service is ok.

Cheap and cheerful

Conveniently located. Ecquipment a bit outdated but still meets its purpose. Exceptionally great staff who go out of there way to assist. The hotel manager Miss Lia took good care of us and her staff followed suite. Will definitely recommend and rebook in future.

Not worth it, very old installations

Located in a very busy road. hotel has very old installations. not worth the money paid for. got bitten by mosquitoes all the time. dont recommend.

Great location

The hotel is in a great location in good walking distance to Kuta and Legian. The room was a bit dirty when we first arrived but got a good clean the next day while we were out. The hotel could do with some repairs and updating but overall was comfortable cheap accomodation that was all we needed for our stay.

Simple but great location.

We stayed in Seminyak for the first half of our holiday in luxury but we had more fun at the Vilarisi simply because of the location. Not even 5 mins walk to the beach and 3 min walk to Melasti st. When we stayed there the restaurant was under renovation so there was no breakfasts. We had to supply our own water but rooms cleaned everyday. Great if you just need a crash pad and plan to spend alot of time away from the hotel. Pool is nice and has a kiddies pool. Overall we enjoyed our time there.

Unsatisfied

The room is very small, not really like the pictures. There is no window in my room at all. You can hear everything happening in the lobby and people were very loud early hours of the morning. It rained and the roof leaked wetting my clothes but the hotel staff were great and washed and dried for me. I'd you're after something luxurious this isn't the place but if u like basic needs on a budget then I would recommend. The staff are great and the restaurant is very cheap and tasty.

Dirty and smelly

The first Impression of the room was alright. But as soon as I opened the bathroom door the back smell made me cry, literally I had tears in my eyes. ... But first comes first. I booked a special offer ( discount), so I thought maybe the hotel is not in such a good condition. I was reading the comments but didn't expect this... I booked a double bed with breakfast (payed more than the normal room) and asked for hotel pick up. I didn't hear anything in response so I was prepared a bit. We took a taxi to the hotel. When we arrived the receptionist told us we booked a twin room without breakfast ... that was a bit ridiculous I think. .. should have taken a picture of the booking website, because the email only showed the things u picked after the Room (room incl.... and then extras like double bed questions etc. ) Then we smelled the room. The bathroom Was full of mold. The shower only dripping because the switch from bathtube water and shower was broken. Water was coming out at both all the time. Was reading bad comments about the pool too. After all that time I thought they should have dealt with that.problem but they didn't. It was green and slimy. We couldn't go swimming. .. The tv sometimes worked alright, sometimes not. The fridge wasn't cold at all. The only good thing was the bed, the shes were alright and the bed comfi, and the air con. All in all I wouldn't recommend it.

Just need to be a bit cleaner

The plumbing in the room smells really bad. Bath tub is pretty filthy. Towel rack is all rusty and old. The AC/fan works ok. TV is old with no cable. Linens are old. Staff are nice. They responded promptly to my request. If you want to make a local call (on the island), the hotel will charge you. I thought it's kind of weird but in Asia you might expect this.

Not impressed

It's bit hard to find where is the hotel. I thought the hotel is near Legian central area but it's not. We have to walk more than 30 minutes to get Legian Central Area. The room is too small. I booked 2 rooms for me and my friends but we got different type of room. Hot shower, TV remote, AC remote aren't working as well. Menu of breakfast is good. The hotel's staff are friendly.

Shockingly GROTTY!!

I'm sorry to say this is the worst hotel I have stayed at in over 20 years visiting Bali, fortunately we had only check in for a few hours before heading to the airport. It was just somewhere to store our luggage & have a shower. I went out and bought a couple of Bali towels to use because I wouldn't use the dirty smelly ones provided at the Vilarisi.

Big disappointment

Firstly let me say I am a budget traveller and enjoy finding low cost comfortable hotels to help stretch my holiday dollar.... This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in... we put up with it for 3 nights of our booked 7 night stay then moved out to another hotel, just down the road, for the a similar price paid at this hotel... When we arrived it looked as though the beds in the room had been made but no other cleaning done... there was dust everywhere, the fridge was filthy and the bathroom was really smelly. There was no toilet paper, no towels or soap... The room was "made up" daily, but never cleaned... towels were taken from the room but only replaced when asked for.... toilet paper, soap coffee etc always had to be requested. I think it is a real shame that a hotel in such a fantastic location is so badly let down by apathetic staff not doing their jobs....

Ok, A/C only cooled to 18C, alot of construction going on around, so constant noise. Clean tho.

Nice relaxing place to chill out

Basic Breakfast, TV signal a bit shabby. Still it was my comfort level I enjoy. Staff were friendly. Hotel location ideal for going in any direction. Felt security was very adequate. I would stay there again if economics were right. I had a Standard room, I would up-grade to a Superior in the future.

Great hotel with same breakfast.

Hotel room was very good with only aircond . The morning breakfast menu was the same for the whole 4 days. Other than v got no complain. It was a pleasant stay.

Close to the beach hotel

The room is full of mosquitoes and the cleanliness was not there when we arrived late in the evening. Especially the bed sheet, you could see stains on them easily. We requested for a room changed and the staff was quick to respond.

Nice hotel and friendly staff

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the meals were great. I had one of the superior rooms which are a good size and it was also cleaned daily. This hotel has plenty of character and feels very homely, great for families and people wanting to stay more than just one or two nights. Location is close to all the shops, restaurants and entertainment but it is still nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend.

Too many Mosquitos

Unfortunately I did not enjoy my stay here there was too many mosquitoes in my room even when I sprayed plenty of insect spray they seem to come back, which made my stay very uncomfortable. The wifi was really non existent could never connect.

basic room

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice little pool. Room was very basic, comfortable but had no balcony or wifi. (WiFi in lobby only).. Located in legian, just a short walk to the beach.

Photos are misleading

We arrived late in the evening and check in was easy. The room was hot, humid and full of biting insects (misquitos and tiny ants in the beds). No hot water for a shower, but too tired to worry about it and too late to arrange another hotel. Asked for hot water in the morning and was told they would fix it sometime that day. We found a nice hotel 100m up the same road for the same price the following morning (Rosani Hotel).

Vilarisi - Great location, shame about the pool!!!

The Vilarisi Hotel is great for the holidaymakers who love to shop as in a great location- 3 minute walk to Melasti St markets, restaurants, massage, beach etc. Unfortunately for those of you who want to sit by the pool and relax, i advise that you find another hotel. The pool is great for a quick swim to refresh but not to laze around all day (very rundown and in dire need of a complete overhaul). The rooms are clean & comfortable and the staff are to be commended on their service. True Balinese experience!!

Okay but the hotel can do better with all amenities available. The restaurant is filled with mosquitos in the evening. Also the swimming pool doesn't look appealing at all even on a very hot day where you'd want to just immerse and Relax. Overall, it was in a very short distance from the airport, staff were very friendly when my room was so small and they upgraded immediately to a better room, basics are available in the room and only problem again was the mosquito. Something must be done.

Disappointing!

Ripped sheats only reaching our calves . Peeling paint coating the suitcase in white powder. But the bed was comfortable! I would not stay again nd won't be recommending it.... But the staff were the typical Balinese helpful respectful team!

Positively surprised

Good facilities, clean, good breakfast, not too far from beach

Very disappointed with overall stay.

The pictures and the condition of the hotel was totally different. The hotel was very old, the bathroom and everything else need renovation. The toilet kept leaking all night. We stayed for the 2nd night, the trash was not cleaned. It is very disappointing for the price that we paid. We decided to upgrade from standard room to deluxe because there is no windows in the standard room and the smell is very old and musty. The only great about this hotel is the friendliness of the staff.

Great location

I had a fabulous time in Bali, there was lots to do and the hotel was well situated. Friendly staff, room cleaned every day. Couldn't ask for more. Very tidy. Good food and well priced. Would definitely recommend. Will go back. Was very happy. Nice room, overlooked the pool was quiet and comfortable.

Bali Bliss

Our second trip to Bali, staying in Legian, loved it. The hotel staff and services were excellent with the staff being friendly and very accommodating. The facilities and location were perfect for us and we would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was ok but could use a "face lift"! The location was convenient and the staff were very friendly.

Great family holiday

Travelled to this hotel for 3 weeks in August, great hotel to use as a base. Quite basic but as we didn't spend much time in hotel it suited us. Just myself & 6 yr old daughter went, the staff were great & really attentive. The food was good & very reasonably priced. Location was good, about 5 mins to kuta beach, surrounded by shops & restaurants. Felt really safe walking about at night especially with it just being myself & my daughter.

Excellent hotel, reasonable price for great value.

Vilarisi is in a great location, near lots of good markets, and on the border of Kuta/Legion. Across the road from a much more expensive hotel, but the expensive one has none of the character that has the Vilarisi. Only drawback is the pool is in shade most of the day, but if you're not going to be laying around the pool all day, this is the best place to stay for the budget minded. Has great touches of comfort, we'll be back!! Last year our son and his wife and 2 very little children stayed at Vilarisi, they had a great "family room" that accommodated them all. A great hotel, very friendly staff and excellent location. A great value for the price, in my opinion

バルコニー付きの部屋は眺めが良い。レストランは居心地がよく、料金も安価。部屋の清潔さも料金を考慮すれば十分合格点。ただWIFI環境が悪いのが最大の難点。通常、WIFIは一度接続すれば、以後は電波が届く範囲に入れば自動的につながるものだが、このホテルではいちいちIDとパスワードを入力しなければならない。UBERを呼ぶときなどは不便だ。

Don’t live here!

The staff was not serviceminded and did not understand english more than very basic. They were more interested in watching youtube than helping the guests. One morning they knocked before 9 to clean. We said that we were sleeping and asked them to come back later. Then they all (like 5 people) stayed just outside our door!! Screaming and laughing and jokong with each other! No way of going back to sleep so we just went out. Wifi did not work in all rooms. Shower was cold and it was soo dirty! There are way better hotels in Bali for this price!!

フロントの人達の対応はいい。部屋に入った瞬間カビのかおりはやばい。シャワー室がかなり古い感じの作り。ベッドの方はまずまず。隣の生活音は丸聞こえ。寝るだけの為ならチープでありかも。

Das hotel liegt an der Seiten Straße, viele Einkauf moeglichkeiten, art shop und Strand Nähe ,900 meter Frühstück ist nicht in begriff, kleine Pool Ich habe ein standard zimmer, ist alles ok , bis ab und Zu meine Nachbar Zimmer wenn rauchen , habe ich Sofort gemerkt, da die lrisze Decke undicht war, Ich war frei Rochen da, ein teil für wechsenlende Nachbar ist ab und zu rauchen, Das ist die einzige Sachen für unangenehme ist, Da ich nicht rauchen bin,

Ruhige Lage , zum Strand nicht so weit (relativ)

Alles gut Die einzige das mich stört ist Jeden Morgen ca 9 Uhr ist immer an die Tür geklopft Zimmer Service, das heißt die möchte den Zimmer Sauber machen, dabei bin ich Langschläfer, Manchmal bin ich so erschrecken und wach geworden War auch schon einmal passiert ich war im Bad bzw Toilette dann muss ich wirklich schreien das den Zimmer später sauber gemacht Sonst nichts

ビーチからは少し遠いけど寝るだけならおススメです。

ビーチからは少し遠いです。毎朝ビーチに行くとかにはバイクがあったほうがいいです。でもクタの真ん中なので便利だと思います。部屋は狭くてタオルくらいしか置いてないし綺麗とは言えませんが、どうせ寝るだけなんだけどドミトリーなどの１０００円以下は泊まりたくないという人には丁度いいのではないでしょうか。ちなみにホットシャワーじゃありません。

ビーチに近いホテル

従業員の人の笑顔と対応が素晴らしかった！ ルーム清掃もとても綺麗にしてくれました。 ホテルからの眺めもよく静かで清潔、コンビニも近くてべんりでした。

4th floor is good room

We stayed for 5days. First time, we came to here and we checked in 2th floor room. I think it was standard room. That was no good. 2th floor (I think 205) is like a prison. Narrow and dirty and humid and no window.. and leak water at door. So We requested to upgrade room. 4th floor is good. It was nice view and wide room. Air conditioner is no problem. bathroom too. And they have free water server. Staff is friendly and kindness. We recommend 4th floor of poolside. its nice old hotel.

もう次は泊まらないと思います。

窓がない部屋でビックリ。チェックインしたらトイレのティッシュはべちゃべちゃに濡れてるし、コーヒーカップやガラスのコップは誇りまみれ。タオルもなかった。次の日、清掃に入ってもらった後もコーヒーカップは汚れたまま。次は泊まらないと思います。

一泊1500円としてはコスパ抜群

一番は値段の安さです。 一泊1500円、二人で割ると750円は日本からすると激安です。 マイナスポイントというか我慢すべきポイントは、エアコンが故障している部屋があること（その場合部屋は変えてくれます） 蚊ご部屋に入ってきやすいこと。 外出時鍵を抜くと部屋の電気やエアコンが切れて戻ったとき暑いこと。 くらいです。 それ以外は静かで寝る分には問題なしです。

非常に良かったです。部屋は清潔で掃除も行き届いています。海や繁華街へのアクセスもよくおすすめです。また利用しようと思います。

安全性に問題あり

夜間は3時間の間に少なくとも5回は停電しました。 他のホテルは明かりがついていたので、このホテルの問題だと思われます。 そして、最大の出来事は エレベーターに乗っている時に一階と二階の間で停止しました。 外部との通話ボタンを押すも通信できませんでした。 自力でエレベーターのドアを開けるも、一階と二階の間部分なので全然外に出られず、スタッフもすぐにはかけつけてくれませんでした。 電気が復旧して動き始めましたが、こんなことあってはならないし、あったとしてもスタッフの対応をもう少し考えるべきです。 その後は4階の部屋まで毎回階段で上り下りをしました。

Claustrofobic bunkerlike room

Booked a standardroom witch should include a balcony facing the pool. Instead they gave us a small claustrofobic room that; - Didnt have wi-fi signal - Had plenty of ants, including in the bed - Didnt include a working AC, took approximately 5 hours to cool down the 10 square meter room. We made our complaints to the receptionstaff who talked to the hotel manager. They refused giving us another room, even though most of their rooms are empty anyway. Wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone really, you can find better hotels in the same pricerange.

飲食店が多いエリア

少し古いHotelではありますがお風呂もきれいです。 部屋は広いし、窓の外はpoolが見えて開放的です。

Jeg ble veldig skuffet da jeg så rommet jeg fikk tildelt. På mine papirer stod det at jeg skulle ha balkong og badekar. Det var verken balkong eller badekar på rommet. Rommet var trangt og innestengt, med bare et lite vindu som kunne åpnes. Langt i fra hva jeg var lovet. Det hjalp heller ikke å klage til betjeningen, de stod på sitt selvom jeg stod på mitt. I tillegg var jeg lovet gratis internett på rommet. Jeg fikk rom innerst i gangen, og internettet for 2.etasje rakk ikke så langt som til rommet mitt. Så dersom jeg skulle bruke internett (noe jeg måtte pga jobb), så måtte jeg sitte i resepsjonen eller i gangen i 2.etajse. Igjen, langt fra hva jeg var lovet. Jeg hadde et par venninner som bodde på et større rom i 4etasje, og de hadde internett på rommet. Hadde ikke rommet vært så billig og jeg bare skulle overnatte i 4 dager hadde jeg ikke overnattet der da jeg kom, men heller funnet en annet der og da.

Very good for this money

The Vilarisi hotel is very good for this money. 7 minutes walk from the beach. Legian beach is better than Kutas. The service was good also. The staff helped in all the questions. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel typique qui a grand besoin de rénovation. Petit-déjeuner très insuffisant, servi à 8h du matin en chambre dans des barquettes. Piscine froide. Pas ou peu d'information à l'accueil. Point positif : très bien situé, à proximité de la plage et de tous les commerces.
