Readonable location, about 20 min walking distance from the WH The area around the hotel is walkable and has some dining options There is also Whole Foods close by, which helps. I suggest this info should be available to the guests, since it is a convenience. The vinyl record players were a nice touch Parking is awful: $65 for valet parking or $52 across the street Getting onto the driveway is counter intuitive Also, some better direction for how to find the alternative parking would help

This property was amazing. A smaller hotel but the look of the hotel was gorgeous. The front desk staff was so sweet and allowed us to check in almost 4 hours early.

Loved it and they had a New Year’s Eve party at the hotel that night. It was fun.

Hotel stay was wonderful. There was a mishap at first with checking in which did cause me a bit of panic, however, the hotel staff was able to rectify the situation quickly to make my stay enjoyable. This is my second time at this location and I truly love the hotel, and the location.

Lively hotel with very kind and accomadating staff. Rooms are quiet despite any nearby noise. Very convenient location for walking to all major sights. Dining downstairs offers fantastic food and craft cocktail options.Highly recommendeded.

The property was very nice. Very cool. Fun trendy place to hang out. Great location. Rooms were great. Could hear the lobby music till about 11 or so but was ok. Would stay here again.

Good location

This is my 4th trip to Yours Truly since August. Beds are comfortable, always a few nice touches like the rain shower, slippers and robe, steamer that actually gets out wrinkles and water stations for refills on each floor. My only complaint has been interior rooms can hear the music from the restaurant in the rooms. This can make it difficult if you are used to a quiet atmosphere. It does seem like it varies on the night of the week and time of the year so you may be in luck and have a quiet night. Hotel staff are always lovely and its fun to be able to enjoy their record collection and players within your room.

Great service

Overall, meh experience. Constant upselling and everything comes at a price with hidden charges. More expensive than other nearby properties with higher quality based on many website reviews. Water pressure low in bathroom, old heating/cooling, minimalist charm with outdated amenities.

Great staff, amazing food, well designed and the bed was super comfortable. But the music from the restaurant below was SO LOUD in the room. All the furniture felt like it'd had Mary Poppins' spoon full of sugar. The toilet seat was literally dancing to the beat. Avoid staying on the 2nd floor

Whenever I visit Washington, D.C., this is my sanctuary of choice, a place where I am consistently welcomed with unparalleled hospitality. On my most recent stay, my arrival was delayed until the very late hour of 3 a.m. due to unforeseen travel disruptions, yet the team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and peace. I am especially grateful to Louis from the security team, whose kindness and attentiveness were truly remarkable. Not only did he assist us with our bags, but he also procured additional pillows, blankets, a cooler, and a microwave — all essential for my wife’s medical needs. Louis tended to every request with such care and diligence, even at the early hours of the morning. Furthermore, my heartfelt appreciation goes to the housekeeping team. Whoever cares for Room 833 (Oct 15-22) does so with exceptional pride and dedication, creating an environment that is spotless, welcoming, and refined. This extraordinary attention to detail and commitment to guests’ well-being makes each stay here an absolute delight. I will say the rooms feel smaller than they should plus there's no room service, no pool, no workout facilites, nor on demand taxis (must use Lyft or Uber) now so I'm taking a star off for those reasons alone. I hope this feedback helps the property grow to for travelers full needs and dually rewards those I've included as it's well deserved. Thank you to everyone who contributes to this oasis of comfort and elegance.

Gorgeous hotel!

Great hotel and enjoyed the stay. We sat at the bar for about 30 minutes while staff continued to walk by without alerting us that it didn't open until later that evening, but honestly other than that things were great. The hotel is beautiful. There was a DJ in the lobby/restaurant the night we stayed, you can hear it from your room but we expected this so wasn't a bother to us at all however something to keep in mind, depending on the nature of your trip. We were in DC to party so it was fine with us

DISSATIFIED CUSTOMER

Hotel is beautiful in all areas EXCEPT the rooms. Rooms need an entire upgrade. For the luxury advertised and the price point, the rooms were beyond unsatisfactory. Staff service took an hour to deliver an iron, broken mirror, low water pressure, worn carpet, flooring with holes and outdated furniture. Very disappointed customer.

"Destination fees" - what a scam. An intentional way to jack up the price an extra $30/night without revealing that up front. It means nothing different at all to have a $150/night room with a $30 destination fee, or a $180/night room There was NO indication of these fees at any point until check-out, and due to the suspect nature of them, my company does not reimburse for them. Expedia also is complicit with these questionable practices, never at one point revealing the per night cost of rooms or any associated fees - conveniently showing only "average" price per night. Thus, I paid one night for substantially higher because there was no way to parse out the difference. If Expedia wants to be serious about offering hotel choices to customers, they really need to be more transparent about both of these issues. Stay overall at hotel was comfortable - the financial practices of Yours Truly Hotel - and Expedia's effort to avoid any responsibility - was extremely disappointing. So, buyer beware.

The concierge was very kind and welcoming. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Beautiful restaurant and bar in the first floor.

Good hotel, located in a good place.

We loved this place so much, from start to finish. Up until we got home and realised the valet staff threw out our parking pass that let us into our parking garage at home. Also broke the side of one of our wing mirrors. The hotel is lovely, people at the reception absolutely brilliant. But the valet service was a disappointment because of this…(that’s the only reason for the low staff rating)

PROBABLY THE MOST UNIQUE AND ACCOMMODATING HOTEL IVE EVER STAYED IN! First time in DC AND WOW! This hotel is so cute and the staff are exceptional. Marie was so accommodating and really went up and beyond for me and my family. We were with my 9 year old son and my mini poodle. Super pet friendly!! I love this place and will def be back soon!

The staff were very hospitable and welcoming. My husband and I enjoyed the dining options, the proximity to nearby restaurants and banks and our hotel room nice and spacious.

The property was amazing! Beautiful atmosphere and the dining area was fantastic and the service was fast, efficient and so welcoming. I did not realize however from the photos that the room floors were totally concrete so it did not give the warm feeling it looked like in the photos.

It was a beautiful hotel with great atmosphere. Check-in was easy and fast and room was clean and nice. People are nice there and the building has a joyful energy. Room service was great too. I really enjoyed the staying here. I really recommend this hotel :)

The rooms are very on the minimalists side of things… like concrete floors minimalists.. Ac didn’t work the shower pressure was none existent. The room had an old steamer instead of a regular iron

The stay was great, the extra fees after checkout not so much. There is a $30 per day destination fee in place and if you need to park, find somewhere else because they only offer valet and it’s $65 per day! Yikes!

Absolutely amazing stay. The staffs were amazing with excellent hospitality. Maintenance response was fast when the AC needed a filter change. Walkable to Georgetown and the capitol. Mercy me has amazing food and drinks!!

Great property through and through. Well maintained, close to the downtown core and subway lines.

Front desk Naz was very helpful and very courteous. My package include VIP amenities but no such amenities. We were given a $20 voucher but only good for drinks and not food, so the voucher was useless since I don't drink. It would have useful for breakfast buffet, but they won't honor it.

Good location for public transport with lots of restaurants nearby. Rooms have no carpets so feel unfinished. We had to ask for coffee making facilities to be renewed on 3 consecutive days, waiting up to 3 hours for this to be completed. Staff were ok.

Good location in West End, seemed to be the most affordable of hotels in area without sacrificing quality. Very comfortable stay with good service by all staff!

What a great experience. It was the ambience when first walking in to the proximity to nice eating areas. The staff was welcoming and extremely accomodating. The valet was the first person to greet us and was very polite and helpful. Ill be making another visit soon.

I loved everything about our stay at Yours Truly from the really hip and stylish decor, great customer service and seltzer and cold water on tap on each floor. They had microwave in the ice machine room which was convenient. The only issue I had was that for some reason, my room key was deactivated for some reason and I had to go downstairs and get a new key.

Great location. Plenty of walkable food options. Walgreens and CVS are steps away and easy for quick/inexpensive snacks and travel items you may have forgotten. Every employee that we spoke to was lovely…. and the property is well maintained and up to date as of Aug 2024. The vibe at night was pretty young, vibrant and lively with the restaurant/bar at the entrance ….but I also saw lots of families there too ….so something really for every kind of traveler. Would definitely recommend.

One of the worst properties I’ve stayed at in DC. When you’re paying over $200/night, I expect at least the minimum: working TV for the kids at night, friendly staff, comfortable bed. This place missed on all of these. TV did not work. When I asked the front desk about it they were extremely rude saying “well too bad, I just found out about the issue myself”. The bed SUCKS! Sagging mattress, extremely uncomfortable. This place is more of a lounge than a hotel. Spend your money elsewhere. Garbage.

Great Hotel

The hotel stay for me and my dad was great, it is a very beautiful hotel, the service was great, the room was cleaned every day. They give you information about the city hotspots and it location of the hotel is incredible.
