Really lovely and convenient!

This hotel was absolutely perfect. It had a great breakfast~ the location was seriously unbeatable. The beds were so comfortable. And it had such charm and history. The tea ceremony/service is definitely fun if you have time. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel. Staff was attentive and helpful. Great location, convenient to shopping and hop on hop off bus lines and good food.

The hotel room provide self serve coffee maker, and sugar; however, no coffee creamers provided. Every time I want to make a cup of coffee, I have to call service desk for coffee creamers. Sometimes, they were too busy to deliver.

This property is stunning! The staff is friendly and spoke beautiful English which is never expected but always appreciated. They booked both port and airport transfers and the restaurant/bar on site was lovely. Breakfast was included and I was upgraded to a suite. The location is fantastic and walkable with shops and restaurants on every corner. Extremely clean. I WILL stay here again.

Amazing black out shutters, and good location

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful property for 3 nights in mid-September (cloister view room with king bed). From the moment of our arrival, we were made to feel welcomed. All of the staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. A special ‘thank you’ for Sonia (who works in the onsite restaurant) - she is a true gem in the hospitality industry! Speaking of which, we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet with the added, made-to-order hot food items at no additional cost. There’s an easy access metro from the airport, transfer at Alameda station to the green line (getting off at Rossi station) left us with a 1-min walk to the hotel). The historical significance of the design details are found everywhere in this hotel which adds an extra level of interest. We will definitely stay here again during our next trip to Lisbon. Thank you for helping to make our first trip to Portugal a memorable one!

Everything about the hotel was outstanding from the location, customer service and amenities. Our room was beautiful and modern but had no view at all. There was a small window and 2 fake balconies. However I am sure that the higher priced category had a better view

Amazing remodel and incredible service

The total serenity once you enter the property is fantastic.

Great hotel, great for the main station and metro. Staff were incredible and went beyond what we would ever expect. The rooms were immaculate each time we returned and attention to detail and communication brilliant. Definitely not less than 5 stars. Particular shout out to the breakfast staff in going to miss seeing them all in the morning!

Lovely hotel, brilliant staff. Breakfast outstanding. Unusually for a hotel, the coffee was also good. Car park at sister hotel is very tight and very difficult to make your way around.

Loved this place so clean, everything is so new. The room were small but well administered and the bathroom is big. Amazing place make my experience in Lisbon incredible.

Excellent experience. Centrally located with many attractions within walking distance. Never needed Uber or a taxi to get around. The hotel staff were attentive and personable the entire time. Especially Sonia the restaurant hostess. Absolutely thrilled with my stay at Convent Square Lisbon.

Double charge. Scam hotel

We were double charged by the hotel. They said we booked 2 rooms but clearly we only book one room on hotels.com. This is a scam. Do not stay here

Beautiful property with an historical background mixing with ancient architecture with modern decoration. Awesome staff who is very welcoming. The breakfast is delicious. We loved the tea testing every afternoon. Location on top of that is amazing. A true gem.

Beautiful hotel close to everything! Walkable. A bit ‘louder’ if you face the main streets than say, staying in Alfama - however - great service, beautiful designs, and amazing stay!

Great hotel, iffy info from the concierge

Location is amazing! Hotel was great. Had significant issues getting the correct information from the concierge. For example, they told us there was a strike so we did not get train tickets (strike was not that day). Another time we were told the bar was closed (it was 9:45pm) and were sent on a wild goosechace to a sister hotel that was closed. When we got back we realized they were indeed still serving at our hotel. The misinformation caused a lot of stress. They were very kind there.

Very good location and nice rooms!

Property was ronovated, beautiful decor, very clean & well maintained. The interior of the rooms could have been much better on terms of design. Most challenging was a lack of storage space for clothing an essentials. The rooms were spacious, but had only a single, small closet with 3 snall drawers. Bed end tables had no drawers at all, so unpacking was impossible. Service people were very eager to please, kind and cooperative. Some, such as room cleaning staff staff, needed more training and closer supervision. IHG (owners/operators) made foolish/petty choices. Complimentary bottled water was treated tap water - glass bottles are refilled and not sealed. Tasted like dishwater. Other similar examples - too numerous to mention. Overall rating 3.7/5, not 4.8 stars as advertized. Issues could easily be corrected, but it seems that IHG manages at a distance.

This property is a luxury hotel at affordable prices. Strategically located at the center of everything: landmarks, shopping, squares, metro and train station, restaurants, churches. The best feature of this hotel, believe it or not, is that is located in a flat surface. So is easy to return to the hotel after walking the hills of Lisbon. The room is spacious and practically brand new. The bathroom is extremely big. The hotel has an indoor pool in the fifth floor if I recall correctly. The water was a little cold for our taste, but it is perfect after a long day walking. The hotel has an indoor restaurant, which is really good, and to close the perfect day hang out at the bar. The bartenders are great.

The hotel is excellent. It exceeded our expectations. It is beautiful, quiet and centrally located. Great service, especially the conceige, particularly Ana. We would stay here again.

Fantastic hotel! The service, cleanliness, restaurant, bar, and location could not be better. The modern, incredible inner patio-lounge features an awesome modern metal sculpture. I will definitely be back.

Very nice property , but had to walk about 100 feet through cobblestone streets with luggage to find the hotel entrance, Front desk Staff were incredible and very attentive and helpful. We were a bit upset we lost one night of our stay because of travel delays and they would not refund the lost night, which I found unreasonable!

We were shocked to learn this hotel is less than a year old because they already have everything done perfectly! Very elegant, delicious breakfast in a gorgeous dining room that used to be part of a convent, spacious room with a comfy bed, super lovely bathroom with great fixtures, and best of all, a fabulous staff. Every single person we encountered was extremely warm and welcoming, very helpful, and eager to please. We can't say enough good things about the Convent Square. Keep up the great work!

Service is exceptional. Front desk staff excellent. So many who all were attentive and engaged that we regrettably didn’t get any names but fast and informed. From Marta, the self-confessed cat lover bar manager to Larissa the effortlessly effervescent hostess to Sonia the ever consummate fine hotel manager and Vanessa the pleasant and slightly sardonic bar tender, the staff were all equal parts charisma and efficiency, and both in good measure. Can’t say enough about the way the staff made us feel pampered and special. The housekeeping team even folded our dirty laundry!!! The hotel itself is very interesting, quiet, and comfortable. Food at the restaurant was top notch, one of the best pieces of fish I’ve had in years. Simply superb hotel!!!
