Lovely staff

No key available for room for first three days of stay. Systems down so manual book in. Room serviced once in 7 day stay

Was rated really high. Room was very ordinary. Don’t offer daily cleaning which is ok I only stayed the night but only 2 towels shower 2 times a day in Darwin heat but towel has to last me 4 showers. Check in was quick and nice guy but didn’t offer a lot of information. Overall I don’t think I’ll stay again when in Darwin

Air-conditioning dicnot get cool enough. Fridge was all rusty along the bottom of the inside and outside of the door. Dispensers in the shower where very dirty and all clogged up. Back of the bathroom door was very dirty looked like old dried blood splattered on it. Bathroom needed a good clean.

Great area

Clean comfortable room. Easy access to dining as the waterfront entertainment district is literally on the doorstep. Easy, short walk to Stokes Hill Wharf, harbor cruises, Oceanside dining. Skybridge to the Central Business District.

Total disappointment!!!

Everything in the room is damp and uncomfortable. New room the sheets are dryer but it's all damp. I was woken at the hotel by drilling at 8am. There was (big ones) on the ceiling and blinds. Was a long drive from Katherine bur couldn't get a rest straight away because of this issues!! Very disappointing!!!

Nice position on the waterfront. The hotel is getting on in age but still good enough. Lot's of eateries in walking distance, whether in the waterfront precinct or over the road (Skybridge) and into town. Lots of historical areas in close vicinity, WWII and Cyclone aftermath. As for the hotel room, it was quiet even though 2 floors down there was a lot of activity in the waterfront with bars and restaurants. Room was a nice size. TV had basic free to air channels. A few issues: bedding was not changed after we spilt some coffee! and mini bar and coffee was not restocked the next day! However there is a Mini Mart across the way that stayed open till midnight so we just went there for our supplies. There is a wave pool downstairs ($9.00 entry for adults) that was nice and warm which is nice coming from Perth where every pool is quite chilly.

Hotel was in a great location. Unfortunately our room was the furtheriest room from reception, the pool, laundry etc.

Excellent location on the water and centrally located to shopping restaurants and other interesting things. Staff was excellent and courteous. Only complaint, the property needs serious updating.

Rooms in terrible condition. Grotty, poor maintenance and the halls and rooms smell of mildew and air conditioners that desperately need cleaning and likely pose a health risk. Location is good but could not recommend this hotel.

Great location. Lots of restaurants along the waterfront and an easy walk into the city. Comfortable room.

Obviously this property is under staffed, room was not ready upon arrival at advertised check in time & many others were also waiting long periods for rooms to be cleaned, No options were given to store luggage close to room as we were on a dead line time wise & delay was causing issues. Room & position is quite good, many food options & recreation at your door.

I had problems accessing the hotel from the car park on two occasions. The key would not open the lock from the car park to the hotel. Room service meal on the first night was ok but on the second night was very poor. KFC would have been better. Also the choices were limited. For instance the only ice cream option was vanilla . Not very exciting for children

Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night due

I stayed here for 3 nights for work, the 2nd night the fire alarm on the ceiling went off at midnight, I was woken by the ear piercing noise. I called the receptionist immediately, they sent 2 people to my room and they had to remove the alarm (not legally allowed) from the room to prevent the alarm going off again. The reason I was given for this incident was that the hotel waits till clients reporting the noise before replacing the battery. I found this unbelievable, what happened to the routine preventive maintenance? What happens if the fire alarm goes off 3am? There’s no consideration of the disruption to the guest.

Great service, good location

The front desk staff were so lovely and helpful. Really appreciated the service and kindness, it was especially welcome after some issues with my flight. Great location and very quiet. I liked being able to walk to the Wharf for sunrise and there were many good restaurants just next door.

The staff at vibe were absolutely amazing. They could t have been more helpful when they learnt my daughter had a fear of elevators and moved us to a lower room. They also then helped move us to another room when the bathroom fan didn’t work. Nothing was too much of a hassle. The downside for this place is it is in dire need of some repairs. The bathroom had a lot of mould around the edges of the window and chips out of the bath . The fridge was rusted and the carpet ha looking worn. The beds weee comfortable though! The location was amazing and the breakfast bar was delicious.

Great stay on the waterfront with incredible access to restaurants and bars. Hotel room and bed is comfortable and quiet, room service reasonably good. Only issue was shower was a bit old fashioned and on one of the days, room was not cleaned despite placing a request outside the room for clean. Amazing stay purely based on location alone and would recommend.

Unfortunately check in was very disappointing but the manager the next day was very efficient and calmed us down

We had a staycation at the Vibe which was fantastic. The location was great as we were seeing a show at the Darwin Festival. We didn’t have to worry about the car (car park attached) Room service menu was great and so was the food. The room, location and friendly staff made it a great weekend for us. Thank you

Clean and modern hotel in a great area. Only problem was that I booked and paid through Wotif but I was also charged by the hotel upon check in. The hotel refunded straight away but I feel that in the year 2022 these types of errors shouldn't happen.

Great central location in Waterfront precinct. Eateries close by & walkable to main CBD. The only issue is rooms 309-320 (409-420) are directly under the walkway across to the CBD (on level 5).so get alot of noise from that.

Buffet breakfast amazing. Location fabulous. I could find my dad by just doing a little walk around grassed area and pubs on waterfront - did not have to arrange time or place. Rooms were quiet from any outside noise on the waterfront side. Negative - I ordered twin bed arrangement but was made as double bed, so had to wait while the beds were separated and made up.

Great customer service very friendly and caring staff especially front desk staff who checked us in I think her name was Jacinda.

The Vibe is in a great location close to the waterfront area and not far from the main street. The lifts were a long way from our room, which was quite small compared to other rooms. The booking through Wotif was strange too. A one day booking, then a 3 day booking which added up to our 4 day stay. Strange. However, it was a great stay and would go back again.

All the staff members were extremely friendly, helpful and effecient. The location was brilliant with access to everything and I loved the pool area with the cocktail bar. I cannot wait to get back there.

It is a wonderful location right on the waterfront with easy access to great restaurants, stokes wharf where there are more restaurants and also where sunset cruises leave from. It’s also a very easy short walk to the city centre. The staff were all lovely, very friendly, hospitable and accomodating. We would definitely return there and in fact have already recommended it to friends who have booked for later this year.

Hotel perfect spot right at Darwin Waterfront, right at bar, restaurants and pools. The hotel is popular for families I could hear young kids around the hallways.

If you like the water this location is excellent -right in front of waterpark and lagoon. The hotel itself had lots of minor maintenance issues. We found mould on bath mat, tiles missing in pool area (which could do with a good clean), towel hook hanging off. We were upgraded on arrival but discovered new room only had queen bed when we had booked king. This was rectified straight away. Our door did not close properly and one day housekeeping left it open. We arranged late checkout but our room key was deactivated at usual time. Overall, the location made this a good place to stay.

The customer service was amazing. The front counter staff were friendly and approachable. Everything we used, bed/ shower / toilets were clean but the walls were kind of dirty. A few surfaces like the table was sticky and kind of gross.

If you are on the top floor like we were you can hear people passing over the walkway on top of you. The pool is cold (no sun gets on it) and people walking past on the waterfront can look in and see you. The staff though are lovely and helpful.

We did not get wash cloths one day. They did not restock the mini fridge. The carpet looked dirty. There was a bobbypinon the floor for the entire 9 days we were there. The hotel access door did not work for several days. The grounds keepers were very noisy every single morning as we ate breakfast
