Very good size accommodation for families, lots of common space and has a balcony too. 5 mins walk to the University of Sydney - highly recommend this property if you want to stay close to the university for a visit. 2 mins walk to a bus station where you can get to Circular Quay. Reception staff are very friendly and patient to help us with directions. We enjoyed our stay.

It was quite adequate for a one night stay close to the airport for our family of 7.

Has a washer and drier. Plus laundry powder. Brilliant.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and kitchen were not very clean. The kitchen was not fully equipped and we did not receive any extra equipment when we asked.

Nice apartments located pretty close to Sydney airport. If you're planning to check-in late, I'd recommend getting your key code and instructions beforehand. Paid parking is available, but free street parking is also an option if you only plan on staying from late night till 6 AM.

Disappointing but doable

The room was not made up and cleaned even though the sign to tidy the room was put up at the door. The mirrors on the sliding wardrobes and the lamp shades in the living room are covered in dust. The level of cleanliness is sub par.

Unit is quite. Shower is good. Bed is comfortable I needed to be close to rpa and this suited this well

Property was great - clean, well appointed & fantastic location. Downside was our apartment was located on the Parramatta Rd side of the complex & the road/ street noise all night was very loud.

Clean room

Received free upgrade from 2 to 3 bedrooms. Top floor rooms have good view of city. Reception and cleaner very friendly. City close and good public transport. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment had all we needed. It’s a shame we were only there for 1 night, as we didn’t really get to use all of the features - we didn’t even turn on the tv! We would stay there again.

We had a four bedroom apartment for 6 adults and two children for three nights. Two adults declined to stay and went elsewhere. - I really don’t think that the property was properly maintained and checked before we arrived. I messaged and emailed a list of issues to the staff on duty, but unfortunately the poor man seemed to be the only person checking in and responding to issues. 1. Nails protruding from stair carpet caused a significant cut to the 6 year olds foot. - Not addressed during our stay. 2. In sufficient crockery and cutlery - Addressed on second day. 3. No lamps or side lights in one bedroom- Not addressed during our stay. 4. TV did not work as it did not have internet connection. Addressed in our third day. Although internet connection did go down regularly anyway. Not reported during our stay… … no soap etc in upstairs bathroom. … cleaning issues, found a number of interesting items under beds. Disappointing overall. Have stayed with Veriu several times before. They are not the cheapest, but they are usually reliable. It is a shame as it could easily have been som much better.

Really loved this apartment and everything was great except the people in room above basically harassed me the whole time ! Otherwise it’s clean the staff are cool and nice furnishings bed was excellent and love to stay again just hope those clowns aren’t there In room above 😊

Recently painted. Paint spell was extremely strong. Also could do with a good clean. Positive was plenty of room. The room we had faced parramatta rd and therefore was noisy. I would suggest if possible book the other side

Great partners in travel

The property was quick to positively confirm our request for an accessible unit. The unit didn’t seem to have been used recently and had a few issues. Management swiftly and completely resolved all of our concerns. They also proactively alerted us to other maintenance that was being performed during our stay. It wasn’t perfect but they worked well with us and we definitely couldn’t beat the location. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

Perfect customer service, made a few changes to my booking and they accommodated all of them, highly recommend!

Everything was easy and the property is great. Did a late check-in which went well except I had to leave the car in the driveway at the back of the property to access the night box at the front of the building. All good otherwise

Very friendly people. I arrived after hours - key access was easy and lights were on unit around door so made getting in stress free.

Very dirty apartment. We walked in and instantly regretted our decision to stay here but we had a very busy schedule so decided it was too much bother to look at changing or complaining. It was obvious the state of the apartment was not a quick fix, it has been dirty and run down for a while. We didn't want to spend much time in the apartment as it just felt icky. Extreme amounts of dust, sticky floor, stains, holes and rips in the couches. Blood stain on bedding, rubbish in the shower, stains and marks on the walls. Such a shame, as it could be really nice with some care and attention. Furniture needs replacing. It's not ok to have stains and holes on furniture that you expect guests to sit on (I couldn't sit on the couch - too gross). All the roller blinds are shabby. The main one in the living room is broken and wouldn't roll up all the way. The toilet blocked up on our last night but we were leaving early in the morning anyway. We wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend it.

The atrium in the middle of the building is quite gorgeous! The beds were comfy, and the property served our needs very well for our one-night stay.

I’d like to start off by saying the hotel manager is absolutely LOVELY and so helpful. He seems to genuinely care about people’s stay at the apartment and has fantastic customer service skills. We had a few issues with a blocked drain and a shower curtain that needed a bit of attention and he got onto it straight away. The people who you call on the hotline however are TERRIBLE. We called one night to say that someone had parked in our car park that we were paying for, and the guy on the phone literally said to us “what do you want me to do about it - figure it out”. A little bit of feed back - for that amount of money it’d be nice if there was perhaps a bit of room service to get some fresh towels etc?

Neat everything, safe environment near the campus. Just a very few minor problems were - a bit weak wifi, dishwasher wasn't working perfectly.

I couldn’t believe how dirty this place was I had to clean up hair in the bathroom shower and tissue that was under the lounge room sofa bed … And bed was uncomfortable and pillows and rug had stains on it and marks all over the walls, I did take photos of this place because it was gross! Not only that I used the sofa bed for one night and to be told I was going to have to pay a $50 on that was totally unfair I tried to argue that but with out much luck and wanting to get out I paid it ! This was the worst experience I’ve encountered in a room .. please don’t go here if you need a good nights sleep..

It is located very closely to the CBD and to all amenities

Good property for the price, but we were woken at 5:20am most mornings from the noise of the music coming from the gym downstairs. Some aspects of the property not well maintained, lounge was stained and marks left on walls, shower door leaked. Rooms serviced only once during our 5-night stay due to staffing issues (Covid).

Spacious apartment with kitchen and laundry. 12 Min uber to darling harbor.

The staff were professional and prompt to respond to queries. The unit was uncluttered and spacious. It also had its own air conditioning unit and large opening balcony doors - a plus in the current environment. As we prefered fresh air - we had our balcony door open and on one occassion we were awoken at 7 ish by a truck in the laneway.

Proximity to city, condition of apartment was good

Our expectations were met, except no internet or netflix available at the time we stayed.

This was our second stay at Veriu Camperdown and unfortunately it did not meet expectations. The property was unclean, inside and out, and the room was uncomfortably cold. Issues with the heating unit took awhile to sort out.

Great friendly check in. Good space in the apartment. Cleaning could be better.

This is the second time we stayed there. Close to the university of Sydney. Transit is just down the street. Easy to get around. Friendly staff.

Sadly 1 bedroom of our 4 bedroom unit was unusable due to an inadequate and damaged sofa bed.

We came to visit and loved the space and price.

Really enjoyed our stay here, the staff at the reception were so helpful and they gave us good tips about where to go for New Years. The location was perfect as it was 15 mins from the CBD and 15mins from the Airport, we all felt that it was the ideal location! Can’t wait to be back.

The space was good and the convenience to town. The late night check in was also very efficient.

good, & spacious place

I stayed at this property last year and was so impressed by it then, I specifically picked it again this year. I got the same room and regrettably based on my stay last year, it was a bit of a let down. The entry looked run down and not clean at all. Our room was clean except several times, the housekeeper forgot to pick up the garbage and left it in the middle of the apartment. In the middle of the night, while I was trying to sleep, I could hear the next room's shower or sink, but it was so loud. The staff weren't as warm as they were the first time I was there. Then, early in the morning, I can hear people talking loudly outside my bedroom. The experience wasn't as great as it was last time. I'll have to check on another property location next time.

Good location, close to the university and on a main bus route, good noise insulation from the traffic, however heard more noise from other guests utilising the courtyard area. Very clean and comfortable inside. I was disappointed that the gym was a separate business which did not allow individual use and had limited hours. Guests of Veriu can join in classes which only started at 7am Saturday and 9am Sunday.

We were attending the NRL grand final.It was perfect for that.Close to things we needed.

Blown away! So clean and tiny, wonderful apartments

Liked: Next to Deus ex Machina cafe and bike workshop. Near to Sydney University. Good sized rooms, clean design, modern and well appointed. Bedding good (big bed), furnishings good. nice balcony. Not so good: No pool, access to the property somewhat hard to figure out. Carpark is A$35.00 per night that I thought was steep. Not much by way of service; you're pretty much left to your own devices. Which is OK but there are no convenience stores nearby.

Good size apartment with a lovely view of St John's. Wifi was too weak to use in our room which was a bit disappointing but other than that, very happy.

Gym noisy under hotel starting from 6.30am. Paid parking only. Easy close access to city centre.

The property was good overall. Location was very good but cleanliness needed some attention. Sofa was stained, rangehood was dirty, bathroom floors were dirty between vanity and shower screen. The shower heads were to high for my mum to adjust. Service was very good. Lovely danishes were complimentary. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious. Bathrooms were small but at least the were 2. Overall good.

Big apartment room. Only negative would be were that we had a room on the Parramatta Road side so you could hear traffic through the night. You could also here the toilet from apartment above being flushed. Apart from that all was perfect.

Property was excellent. Great location and clean & spacious for our family. Air conditioning was not working properly and light bulbs missing and although reported, were not fixed during our stay. Could do with a clothes rack or a washing line to hang up items which cannot be tumble dried. Would definitely book again if in the area.

Very good location for Camperdown, good bus links to sydney. Comfortable. A bit short on glasses, wine. Housekeeping was a bit light, didn't clean the kitchen area, we only had coffee and a snack, didn't cook at all so it wasn't really dirty. Thought the cups and plates could have been put away.

Great but avoid staying there on Saturday

Great Veriu Camperdown apartment

Was great, better than expected. This is the way to go for alonger stay and with family

We loved the staff, terrific and attentive! Very professional. We loved the size and condition of the apartment. We would of loved hooks for the towels because we were happy to use them several times but we had no where to hang them! We used clothes hangers in the closet but it was not ideal. A proper shelf in the shower would be very nice as well. Our things fell all over the floor each time we touched the hanging wood shelf.

Laid back good location. Flushing of toilets upstairs very loud in our first floor room as pipe is very close to bed head.

Bedroom had no ventilation or aircon

House keeping was a mess. Bedroom was poorly designed with no air con, so family couldn’t sleep in the bedroom but had to sleep on the sofa bed which attracts a daily charge .. there were a lot of design flaws in the apartment which doesn’t make it user friendly.. no hooks in the bathroom, shower head was too high with no adjustability to it. Front desk needs a pager or one more person to attend to the phones. manager was good in listening and resolving some of the issues.

This is an excellent hotel in a fairly central location. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, and sound insulation from the busy street out front is excellent.

was quiet and the size of my room was very pleasing - lots of room and well apportioned. After having very little sleep the night before and travelling early hours of morning I did not like being woken in the afternoon due to someone needing to empty dishwasher - apart from this one glitch I enjoyed my stay at the Veriu and Sydney in general

This property was amazing. We had booked a two bedroom apartment but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived that we had been upgraded to a four bedroom appartment. The staff were so kind and friendly and the gentleman on the front counter also went out of his way to make sure we were happy and felt at home. I will be booking this property again and will be recommending to all family and friends

Well situated for our needs. On street parking worked fine for us but it is 2 hour parking after 8:00 am - they also offer garage parking for a fee. Amenities were good with fitness center in the building. Had a small noise issue which they resolved.

3 star with the space of older buildings

Its fine if you are a group or family needing basic accomodation. Expect the bed to be hard (at least it doesnt sag). Do not even try the fold out couch - it should be in the rubbish. There is no aircon in the bedroom. The water system in other rooms and other people's conversations will wake you. It was clean. It was spacious. It's just old and should be half its price. Pot luck on whether the people (casuals?) employed can actually communicate in English - one was great, the other hopeless.

Overnite Stay

We stayed in a 4 bedroom apartment for 1 night it was very clean & tidy. It had a full working kitchen with large fridge & dishwasher. 2 Bathrooms 1 with a bath & shower the other only shower. There was also a laundry with washing machine & dryer. The hotel is situated on the main road but all the windows were double glazed so there was no noise. You could see the near by Church int he Uni grounds & the sports field from balconies. It is close to Buses to City & Broadway & about 20 mins from the Central railway. Glebe Point road is close by with many restaurants & shopping.Reception was very friendly & helpful

After our initial complaint Mr Sean the Ops Manager took immediate steps the very next day to rectify the situation. They offered us $100.00 in compensation & a box of chocolates. They ensured every other day of our remainder days at the property was pleasant - ensuring housekeeping was done well & checking on us if all was well. In my honest opinion they went beyond the call of duty to ensure that we had a pleasant stay after our initial disappointment. Thankful.

Clean and modern apartments that felt fresh and new, lovely courtyard space in the flat (2bed apt)... However a couple of technical things let it down, such as not having any hooks anywhere to hang towels, no air con vents in the bedrooms (got too stuffy/hot to sleep on 15degree nights even), and numerous requests for a high chair never resulted in a high chair coming. However overall a lovely apartment and convenient location. Nice and quiet inside even with a busy road outside. Great cafe next door too :)

The location was excellent, quality of rooms, supplies, cleanliness and help at the service desk were outstanding. The only negative was that our room was above a gym so at 6.00am we were woken each morning by the sound of barbells and weights crashing!

Excellent location for visiting The University of Sydney. Exceptionally spacious, stylish and well equipped apartments. Loved it!!!! Very close to city buses.
