Comfortable hotel. Spacious room. Location handy for Bukit Bintang nightlife and KL Tower. Petronas Towers and Merdeka Square both 20 minutes walk.

The room does not have a chair you can sit and no drawers to put clothes

Good size family room, clean, good breakfast and friendly staff.

Hotel is in an ideal location for getting to local attractions. It’s quiet on a night so you’re not disturbed when sleeping. Staff are polite and the hotel is clean with comfy beds and a decent shower. Breakfast is buffet style and had a decent veriety for all nationalities. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent location

Room cleanliness needs to improve.

Booked for 4 nights but moved out after 2 nights. The room carpet looks really dirty and bed spread and pillows very smelly not sure been replaced from last guest. Informed cleaner but nothing was done. The breakfast acceptable.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Staff are all super helpful and professional. I think this either my 5th or 6th time here and I will definitely stay here next time I am in Kuala Lumpur

Hotel room and bathroom is spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is extraordinarily. I am looking forward to breakfast every morning. Highly recommend for anyone traveling to Kuala Lumpur for vacation.

Okay as base but no frills (or bar after 9.30pm!)

Ok but I wouldn’t describe it as ‘upmarket’ or 4*. Good location to access many things including the brash pub/neon/food area. Nice breakfast but no evening options, bar stayed open no later than 9.30 sadly. Pool nice enough but pretty constantly in shade of surrounding buildings. Desk staff lovely. An ok ‘utility’ hotel as base for touring but average generally.

This property is well situated walking distance from everything, staff are extremely helpful.

Good hotel not far from main attractions. One can walk to the towers or even to China town, if weather permits:) Breakfast is good, rooms are clean, staff is kind and helpful.

Cleanliness can be improved. Stains can be found on bedsheets and pillow case.

In a good location slightly more quieter than the other big name hotels. Amazing pool and breakfast was good and fresh each day. The lobby area was big but not enough sofas as one would expect for such a large hotel. Housekeeping was everyday which was nice but not needed as constant knocking and ringing disturbed my sleep. I found that housekeeping staff washed cups and saucers in guest bathrooms without proper washing up liquid and did not wear shoes inside the bedroom… this was quite concerning and unhygienic and I’ve never seen this elsewhere as I travel often. Easy walk to local shops and restaurants and the open Chinese and Thai food stalls 10mins away. Hotel does arrange taxis to local places too. You can walk to the Pavilion shopping centre but we got a taxi at 11-22 RM varying. Other that it was a pleasant experience rooms are spacious and modern.

Affordable for every penny value

Good services for this hotel. When we just arrived, some staff come help take our luggage and welcome us. They provide umbrella too for raining day. Room are spacious and clean. Staff polite and nice. Highly recommend 👍

Hotel is older, our room was older, carpet is dirty looking in the halls and room, bed was decently comfortable, the linens and towels could be cleaner but overall everything was clean enough, for the price it definitely could be better, pool area is nice, breakfast is good

Felt like a worn down 3-star profit driven hotel

This is a worn down hotel in great need for a renovation. The breakfast is simple and disappointing and is not up to standard for a 4-star hotel. The room is really spacious and provides all necessary toiletries. Good shower. Pool area is a bit small and is always crowded. The gym is completely basic, and not fully equipped.

Very good hotel, convenient to all attractions in the Bukit Bintang area. Would stay again without hesitation. Only complaint was that the wifi was super weak in the lobby. Made it difficult to call a Grab.

Great staycation in the heart of KL. Nearby there is a happening Changkat street that can chill around.

Staff were very friendly and happy to help in arranging transfers etc. Room was clean, quiet, comfortable bed & had all the amenities we needed. Good location within easy walk of many attractions & shopping centers as well as multiple restaurants/food market. Hotel has a pull in section in using E-hailing/taxis which is helpful. Excellent breakfast choice. Did not personally use the pool but this looked very clean & larger than expected. Staff were quick to fix a small issue we had with the shower.

Pro: Location is ok 10 minutes walk to Jalen Alo street. BF is good. Room has plenty of space. Con: this hotel is needs lots of renovation and repairs. The faucets in the bathroom make so much noise due to the water pressure, it woke up every one when we used water at night. The bathroom door squeeks very bad every time we open it and close.one of the elevator does not work for floor #9 that is the floor we stayed. THIS IS THE WORST: The towels are so old they should be replaced 5 years ago, and from white to almost yellow, and they smell so bad same as the pillow cases and the bed sheets. I don't think they even changed the bed sheets after the previous guests left.We travel a lot but have never experienced one like this. The carpet is also old. I will not come back to this hotel and don't recommend it to anyone. This is not a 4 star hotel.

The hotel was very comfortable, with large room, large bed and great bathroom. The breakfast was very good too. There was a pool with a bar which did great value food all afternoon. It was handy for many restaurants and easy walking to two monorail stations and only 25 minutes walk to Petronas twin towers and KLCC park.

Great location near Bukit Bintang and Changkat. Lots of dining options outside. Good pool bar and great staff there. Breakfast was always very very busy.

Very nice place. We were there just 1 night, but found it very comfortable, the staff very helpful and polite. They even provided us with a free packed breakfast because our flight left prior to breakfast bar open. Will definitely stay there again.

A good hotel, in a super location. Very few loungers at the pool which was a shame and anoisy neighbour. Otherwise a great stay

The location was great, very close to a number of bars and good restaurants. The welcome could have been friendler and the carpets were rather shabby; the lobby was smart but elsewhere could do with a coat of paint. Facilities in the room were good. We didn’t like the breakfast, but we found a good bakery very close.

It was clean, in a very good location, and had a very reasonable proce. The only thing was the knocking on the door for house cleaning despite of the do mot disturb sign.

Breakfast hygiene is unpleasant. There are only two employees to clear the tables for all the guests and they can't do too many things logically. There should be at least one more person. The food is served in very poor hygiene conditions. We saw people grabbing food with their hands, children licking the spoon from the honey dish...this is very serious. We notified the staff and they changed it, but if we didn't see it, what would have happened? The tongs for serving food are really dirty, you can't grip them and you can serve the fruit with a spoon full of cake, mayonnaise or anything else. only some foods are covered.

Exceptional Hotel!

Exceptional stay! The Hotel was VERY clean. Front desk was super helpful with any questions or services I needed. The location was perfect, lots of restaurants and several convenience stores nearby. The Hotel Breakfast and onsite Restaurant were great, large variety of foods. Lastly, the Pool was very nice on the 6th Floor.

Close to bars

If you like to visit bars , then its a good location. Just 5 minutes to jalan alor ; 20 minutes to pavilion. The room size is big enough . The breakfast was enough to star a day . Staff should be trained more to deal with guests . Receptionist staff were polite. Maybe you can find better options in this area .

Lovely hotel in good location. Comfortable rooms with everything we needed, although the plumbing is a little noisy - you could hear when next door turned their tap on, but it wasn’t an issue for us. Substantial breakfast - excellent variety. Lovely pool area. Overall an excellent choice with good value for money.

Overall it is ok only for one layover.

We booked the hotel just for a stop-over. Pros: It is very well located, in the city center, near touristic attractions, as well as street food and night places. Breakfast is quite diverse as well. Pool has a nice view over the city. Cons: it is quite old and not very well maintaned in terms of cleanliness (we received a smelly room and everything inside was creaking: the doors, the chair, the bed) Overall it is alright only for one layover.

3 nights in K L . Decent location, breakfast quite good , pool nice but busy in the day .

Location is everything for this hotel. Technically it's in Bukit Ceylon but it's sat right at the end of the main street that runs through Bukit Bintang which contains hundreds of restaurants and bars. There are grocery stores and other shops nearby. Entering the hotel you'll find a very pleasant lobby area but once through that you'll find dated decor, worn carpeting and tired rooms. Lifts creak and groan as they trundle upward, they do not give a sense of safety. Rooms have a firm double bed and a good shower but they are noisy and some residents pay no heed to the no smoking rule. Items of furniture can be filthy and the rooms are desperately in need of a make-over. Breakfast is a bizarre concoction of average to poor quality food. You'll get a great deal if staying at this hotel and it will include breakfast so if location is everything to you then this is a reasonable choice. If you need a little more sophistication then this is not the right choice for you. Describing itself as 4 star, you'll find it more akin to a 2 star hotel. Verdant Hill hotel desperately needs a full refit.

Great stay in KL

Great hotel right in the heart of everything. Walkable to lots of restaurants and bars. Very helpful staff Pool was lovely Lots of choice at breakfast Only negatives hence 4* not 5 would be nowhere to shower/change after 12pm checkout except the pool area and if you looked closely the hotel is a little tired in places. But that wouldn't stop me going back as good value and the positives outweighed the negatives

Hotel bien situé pour visiter KualaLumpur, grand choix pour le petit déjeuner, piscine agréable. Nous avons été à pied jusqu'au Tour Petronas, Tour KL, Chinatown, ... A quelques pas de plusieurs restaurants, la fameuse street foods. Bref, nous reviendrons à cet hôtel sans hésiter.
