Had such a wonderful stay at this fabulous hotel for 12 nights. Exceeded our expectations, amazing room with the most stunning sea views, fantastic choice of freshly cooked food at every meal time, cocktails shaken for you whenever you wish, water sports to try on the most incredible white sand beach in turquoise waters!! Made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and met fabulous staff throughout our stay who couldn’t do enough for you. Would return again in a heartbeat to this gem of a hotel. Thank you to all staff for a wonderfully restful, enjoyable holiday that we won’t ever forget.

Nice property with beautiful very windy beach. Very clean and comfortable room. We were looking forward to the free water activities advertised but they were almost always cancel (only 1 pedalo working and couldn't rent 2, some activities advertised not available on site, snorkeling activities cancel even when nice weather...) Swimming pool can great crowded when too much wind on beach.

Lovely green resort on a very stunning beach, with lovely clean large rooms and comfy sunbed, free snorklimg/glassbottom boat trips (daily). Resort in whole was good value for money, food option's were smaller than other AI I've been too but the food was simple and nice. AI drink options were very limited (only 4 cocktails to pick) and there werent enough bar staff on at peak times which meant waits.. but we had a really lovely staff and thought overall good value.

Fantastic Experience

Abbiamo soggiornato in quest hotel 10 giorni con formula all inclusive a cavallo tra asgoto e settembre. Abbiamo prenotato la camera comfort, molto ampia e ben curata come anche il bagno, offre anche bagnoschiuma, shampoo e balsamo così da risparmiare peso in valigia! Inoltre in stanza c'è un minifrigo che viene rifornito giornalmente con 2 succhi, 2 lattine di coca cola, 2 di birra ed una bottiglia d'acqua tutto completamente gratuitamente. Disponibile una cassaforte, anche questa senza costi aggiuntivi. La spiaggia è abbastanza ampia con comodi lettini, si possono prendere gli asciugamani puliti ogni giorno direttamente la. È battuta leggermente dal vento, ci dicevano che nei mesi di novembre e dicembre invece è completamente assente. Il buffet non era eccessivo ma noi abbiamo mangiato sempre tutto con piacere. Tutte le pietanze sono prettamente caserecce, un po' speziate, influenzate dalla cucina asiatica. Sempre presenti 3 primi e 3 secondi, verdura e frutta. Dolci e qualche volta il gelato per dessert. Birra e vino ai pasti compresi. All'interno della struttura è presente una piccola spa che offre fantastici massaggi di ogni tipo (fatto quello alla schiena della durata di 45 min), più 15 min gratuiti da usufruire nei primi 3 giorni dall'arrivo. Comodissima la shower room da prenotare per poterla utilizzare dopo il checkout se per caso avete un aereo in tarda serata. L'hotel offre alcune attività gratuite come la glassa boat e quella che vi porterà a fare snorkeling un po

We stayed at the veranda palmar beach hotel for our honeymoon in August which is the winter in Mauritius. The weather was better than in uk at this time of year. The resort was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good but did not blow us away and the choice was ok.The only thing that could possibly in prove was the quality of the drinks in the all-inclusive package, you had to pay extra for branded drinks. The beach was just beautiful and part of the resort and the rooms were very clean and the house keeping staff were very good. Overall we would recommend this resort to stay at We would also like to say that hiring a car to get around the island was a very good idea and a good price ,that was all booked in the uk before we went so a big thank you to West car hire.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Varanda palmer beach and would definitely return. Our room was a sea view ground floor room which had its own private sun lougers outside the room which we thought was a real plus. The food at the main restaurant was very nice and varied every meal time. Nightly entertainment was vaired too. The beach is beautiful and you can walk for miles in both directions. The only things we think could be improved are, to be served a drink promptly when arriving at the restaurant as somtimes we were left without a drink thought our meal. There seems to be a lack of sun loungers at the beach and they get reserved quickly in the mornings.

Honeymoon paradise

We stayed for two weeks in mid- to late-January, and although we were a little apprehensive about the rain, it only hammered down for about ten minutes every day or two, and was otherwise extremely hot and sunny. We liked the style of the beaches, the quieter atmosphere and the breeze which kept us cool and the mosquitoes away. So many other 'swankier' hotels looked more impersonal, and it seemed you might have to walk miles just to 'nip back to your room' to get something, but not here. Other places didn't have as good sand or beach area, or snorkelling, so we definitely felt we had best value for money. The hotel itself was small (70 rooms) and intimate - we really felt as if we got to know the other guests by sight or by chatting, and the staff were very courteous, helpful, very friendly and even fun! Facilities on the beach were superb, although of course it suffers from the same blight as other beach resorts in that you should get down there early to get your towel out (simply because everyone else does). A simple notice saying this is not allowed would solve this! We snorkelled for hours, and there were free daily trips out to the best place near the reef. I was taught to sail, went windsurfing, and took out pedaloes and canoes - all for free. The food was buffet-style, and plentiful and tasty, with a good variety of cooked and salad. Breakfast was also as large as you want it, with a promptly-cooked style of eggs. We can't believe we're not there any more! :-(

Over priced rundown hotel.

Dinning room and Bar both had rundown furniture, unclean and sticky with food particles. One has a feeling that guests are there to be robbed. Bathroom had only one small bar of soap for hand wash and shower water down soap-shampoo in a dispenser. Hotel was rated 3.5 star if I remember correct on internet when I booked. I would give 2stars. These two stars for location and gardens.

Friendly Hotel

Stayed 4 nights. Good value for a 3 star hotel. I can usually find something to eat on an all inclusive buffet but food was poor and repetitive, white wine in the all inclusive was terrible, explains why I only saw people drinking red! Lovely beachfront location and the staff are some of the friendliest I've ever come across. So if you want a lovely beach holiday with plenty of water based activities, this hotel will suit you. Good spa, wifi in room worked well, small shop, gym and library area. Entertainment each evening, dance groups, karaoke etc. Transfer from airport took about 1 hour. Town of Belle Mare is a 20 min walk away with a few souvenir shops. Ask for one of the newly refurbished rooms facing the sea. First room I was given was dark and dingy with no sunlight. They were happy to change it and what a difference, new room was bright and airy with lovely sea view.

Brilliant Hotel for Honeymooners and Couples.

The location and facilities at the Hotel were excellent, the food, entertainment and the service were exceptional and I cannot find fault the Hotel in any way. In my opinion it's only the size of the beach that stops this being a 4-5 star hotel. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and we were on an all inclusive package which suited us perfectly as the local Beer and Wine were very good. This hotel is ideal for couples looking for a quiet, relaxed vacation, and anyone viewing this hotel via trip advisor can be confident the hotel looks exactly as It is portrayed. I would also recommend the Veranda Paul & Virginie Hotel to anyone who is looking for a Hoeymoon location.

Budget no frills hotel

A very basic and tired hotel which is a shame as it has lots of potential . We stayed bed and breakfast but were severely disappointed with the quality and odd selection of food on offer. It appeared that the previous night's left overs were the next morning's offerings when all we wanted was a decent size- non- soggy croissant not curried chicken with rice. The staff were either extremely friendly or the opposite and could be quite unhelpful at times. Also beware as the pool is quite small and there's a shortage of sun loungers which lead to frustration and disappointment on several occasions .

Average, unremarkable hotel. Poor quality food.

Lovely beach and beautiful location, but hotel really needs to improve its service standards and food quality!! Internet provision was also very poor. Hotel was cheap with fairly good room size, but I would not stay there again. I would recommend spending a bit more and staying at a nicer hotel!

No passion for Excellence

Fixtures, facilities need to be upgraded. Clean carpets, more lighting in shower area. WIFI should be free. Kitchen personnel not service oriented. Strict with time.

Ok hotel på fin strand

Mindre hotell på fantastisk strand. Personalen var verkligen toppen men maten hade mycket mer att önska. Dålig variation på tex frukt, pålägg o bröd. Ingen valmöjlighet på restaurang, fanns bara en.Saknade också typ av snackbar på em. Hade gärna också haft dynor på solstolar som alla övriga hotell runt om hade.

Séjour agréable

Situé sur une belle plage, établissement de taille moyenne, service correct, personnel sympa. La piscine necessiterait plus d'entretien car l'eau est trouble (les gens se baignent sans se rincer avant d'entrer dans l'eau, encore tout badigeonnés de crème solaire). Notion du All inclusive particulière, la moitié des boissons est avec supplément ! Un peu cher pour la prestation fournie. Le buffet n'est pas mauvais mais manque de variété. L'autre restaurant pratique des prix très élevés.

Außerordentlich schöne Anlage mit superfreundlichem Personal. Die Anlage ist schön klein, was uns um einiges besser gefällt wie die größeren Anlagen drum herum. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick, einfach wunderbar und nur 10m bis zum Strand. Wir würden jederzeit wieder ins Veranda Palmar Beach Hotel fahren

Super mariage à Veranda Palmar

Nous avons passé un quelques jours à Véranda Palmar Beach et ce fût un excellent séjour. C'est le lieu que nous avons choisi pour nous marier et toute l'équipe a été superbe avec nous du début à la fin. Nous remercions encore Yashveer, Suren et Tavisha qui ont été aux petits soins, ont répondu à nos demandes et plus encore... Nous nous souviendrons pour toujours de notre séjour. L'hôtel est propre et calme, la plage est sympathique. Le restaurant et les prestations proposées sont variées. Nous avons profité du paddle, kayak, snorkelling, des animations le soir et j'en passe. Attention en ce moment il y a quelques travaux à l'hôtel Lux juste à côté. Un grand merci, Wendy et Jérémy, room 814

Nice week of relaxing

Nice place, nice buffe restaurant for all meals. Bars by the pool and the beach. Service and cleaning always good. Very good value for the money compared to other similar similar all inc locations.

Das Essen war gut, die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet. insgesamt ist es aber wegen vielen Kindern und dem angrenzenden öffentlichen Park sehr laut.

Service was very Good. Very friendly and committed. Food was good. Variety was good. Beach was clean and they offer some free water activities like SUP or canopies. At the beach it was very windy which made it uncomfortable to chill at the beach.

Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Fantastische Mitarbeiter, tolle Zimmer, super Lage, leckeres Essen. Besonders der Service ist hervorzuheben. Klare Empfehlung!

Otel ortami cok guzeldi ve calisanlar cok ilgiliydi. Odalarin temizligi yeterliydi ancak balkon camlarina da onem gosterilmeli. Yemekler lezzetliydi fakat herseyde köri kullaniliyor belki biraz daha farkli mutfaklarin yemekleri servis edilebilir. Genel olarak cok memnun kaldik.

Für ein 3 Sterne Hotel bekommt man viel geboten. Das Personal ist super freundlich, vor allem zu Kindern. Der Strandabschnitt können wir sagen, ist der schönste der Gegend. Das Essen war für 3 Sterne auch super, das Frühstück war ausreichend und man konnte sich Eierspeisen immer frisch zubereiten lassen. Als Fleisch und Fisch Esser gab es mittags und abends immer leckere Sachen vom Grill. Meine Frau ist Vegetarier und hat auch immer was leckeres für sich gefunden. Für unseren kleinen 3 Jahre konnten wir immer Burger, Chicken Nuggets oder Nudeln bestellen. Zum Strand muss man sagen das vom Hotel echt mega viel kostenlos angeboten wird! Vom Kajak , Tretboot bis einmal am Tag kostenlos zum Schnorchelspot fahren vom Strand mit Glasbodenboot. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene 2 Kinder 3 Jahre und von unseren Freunden 3 Monate. Wir können es einfach jedem nur weiterempfehlen!!!

Mycket fin och ren strand, dock något blåsig så här års. Mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal trots alla speciella önskemål stora som små. Det kändes verkligen som semester när de var så måna om ens välmående. För längre vistelser än 10-14 dagar blir dock buffén något enformig.

Herrlich angelegtes Hotel mit absolut freundlichem Personal und malerischem Strand. Zwei große Negativpunkte sind das Essen, das weit unter dem Standard von Mauritius ist, und die Liegensituation am Strand. Hier fehlen Schattenplätze, und das Management tut nichts gegen notorische Reservierer, selbst wenn es dabei zu unschönen Konflikten kommt.

Der Servive in diesem Hotel ist einfach Spitze. Alles war perfekt. Das einzige was stört ist, daß es nicht genug Liegen am Strand gibt. D.h. man muß zeitig am Strand auftauchen! Aber, ich habe erfahren, daß das Management dabei ist das Problem diurch eine Umgestalltiung der Anlage zu lösen. Das wird aber erst in 1-2 Jahren passieren.

Plage paradisiaque, Hôtel familial tout le personnel d'une gentillesse incroyable est à votre écoute et ne cherche qu'à satisfaire vos moindres désirs. Grande chambre confortable , une grande douche et très propre . Repas sous forme de buffets où tout le monde peut trouver un plat à son goût avec toujours une grillade et des plats mauriciens à découvrir, desserts variés avec aussi fruits frais et glace ..Nous avons aussi testé le spa et en particulier le massage mauricien qui était un pur délice .Un séjour formidable qui nous donne envie de revenir

Great Hotel

Coze little All Invlusive Hotell in the amazingly beautiful Belle Mare. Rooms and all hotellarea was great. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Beautiful sea and beach with free snorkling-trips to one of the best snorklings i visited every day. The food could be improved. Not the quality but the choise of food very boring and no easy grab to go like pastas, burgers, pizza slices and so on. There should be more easy fastfood to choose between. Had a great stay overall! Worth the price compared to the other superexpensive hotels on the beach.

Het hotelpersoneel is Klantvriendelijk. Het strand is erg mooi. Het hotel heeft een glasboot om te snorkelen en onder water te kijken, je kunt surfen, een zeilboot gebruiken, kanoën, surfen of heerlijk op het strand liggen

Gostei com restrições! Quarto amplo, limpo e confortável. Café da manhã excelente, almoço não gostei muito (pouca variedade e sem tempero nas comidas) e o jantar era um pouco melhor, mas a nota não passa de razoável. O vinho e a cerveja do all inclusive cumpriam bem com o esperado. O wifi é horrível. Tive dificuldade em utilizar. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos e dedicados. O problema é o alto custo de transporte de taxi pela ilha. Viagens curtas são um absurdo pela curta quilometragem. Achei um roubo! Já as longes não achei tão caras pela distância e tempo que levam. A ilha é bem segura e utilizar taxis é muito necessário. Não tem Uber. Tem grátis para uso na praia os caiaques, pedalinhos, windsurf, laser, hobbie cat e barco com fundo de vidro.Tudo em bom estado!! Pelo custo x benefício acho q vale a pena. Mas não gostei do almoço e do jantar. Até emagreci!!!

Die kleinen Dinge sind knapp in diesem Hotel!

Wir hatten Allinklusiv gebucht und auch bekommen. Das Zimmer war geräumig und durch die Palmen konnte man das Meer erahnen. Das Bad ist richtig groß, mit einer sehr guten Dusche. Die brauchte man auch da die Klimaanlage nicht so funktionierte wie sie sollte. Das Essen ist in diesem Hotel nicht von guter Qualität! Das Frühstückangebot war täglich gleich. U .a. Zwei Sorten billigen Käse und zwei Sorten Wurst. Etwas Obst das Geschmacklich nicht dem entspricht worauf man sich auf einen tropischen Insel so freut. Der Kaffee war gerade noch so das man ihn trinken konnte. Kleine !! Löffel gibt es in diesem Hotel nur wenige! Das Abendbuffet lässt viele Wünsche offen und ist geschmacklich fade. Wenn man etwas nicht mag gibt es keine Alternative. Das Nachspeisenbuffet ist auch nicht wirklich gut. Das Unterhaltungsangebot ist teilweise so laut das eine Unterhaltung am Tisch nur schwer gelingt. Am ersten Tag hatten wir zwei große und zwei kleine Handtücher. an den darauf folgenden Tagen bekamen wir nur noch ein kleines Handtuch und am letzten Tag keins mehr. Erst nach Nachfrage wurden dann wieder zwei! kleinen Handtücher ins Zimmer gelegt.

A notre arrivée pas de service de bagagerie, le wifi ne marchait pas. Chambre agréable malgré un nettoyage approximatif de la salle de bain. Activités prévues sur le programme non réalisé ( absence récurrente de l'animateur qui pourtant est très dynamique quant il est là !) Belle piscine mais l'entretien des abords en journée laisse à désirer.. Service au restaurant et au bar a revoir par le manager, absence de bonjour et nonchalance... Entretien des parties commune négligé.. Belle plage et bon rapport qualité-prix par rapport aux 5* qui l'entourent! Animation musicale du soir vieillissante (années 80..) mais joli spectacle de sega. Snack sur la plage inconstant en qualité et lent. Ce pourrait être un très bin endroit si il y a avait un management digne de ce nom. Dommage..
