Lovely apartments but charged for extra bed

Lovely quirky apartments which was comfortable and clean. Was advised we had to pay additional money at check-in for a 3rd bed despite booking for a family of 3 on hotels.com. Not impressed. Air con in the room also didn’t work

The property was really lovely. It was a fantastic location near the old town and main square so walking distance to explore.

Beautiful Hotel

We have just returned from staying here for 4 nights. It’s a beautiful and immaculately clean Hotel. The furnishings, fixtures and fittings are all high quality. Will definitely stay here again…

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Freshly decorated, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds. The breakfast offers everything you can think of: cold meat and cheese, cooked breakfast, salads, pickles, serials, yogurts, hunney straight from honeycomb, 3 types of artisan jam (NOT in mini plastic containers) l, selection of bread and cakes, 3 or 4 juices, tea, coffe, mulled wine! In the room there are tea/coffee making facilities with complimentary freshly ground coffe, tea, coffee pods, water bottles. There are utensils in the cupboard if you would like to cook, hob and fridge. The hotel is 20min walk from the train station, 5 min walk from the Old Town and 10 min walk from Jewish Quoter. We have not used transport at all and walked everywhere. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around. The area is very safe. Highly reccomended! It is a fantastic value for money!

The Ventus Rosa was extremely clean, modern and well-equipped with everything you may need, including speciality coffee making facilities in the bedroom, complimentary water (still and sparkling), a stocked fridge with drink and food items that were chargeable. There were two coffee machines with complimentary ground and pod coffee provided. The small kitchenette had pans, crockery, glasses and cutlery, all of which were spotless. Every member of staff was excellent, especially Veronica on Reception who went over and above to ensure our happiness. The pleasant walk to the city centre took less than ten minutes. We will definitely stay again and can highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Excellent value for money and location greta for walking to all parts of the city. Fantastic breakfast. Maybe storage space in our room was bit limited but workable. Would go back.

Overall, a good stay. For us, breakfast wasn't as good as other reviewers said, but it was good enough. I guess a lot will be down to personal preference. Great location, near the centre but nice and quiet. Great size room. Helpful staff.

Had a great stay at the Ventus Rosa. It’s a small hotel so it’s very quiet, and our room was very spacious and clean. Walking distance to old town and the main square, as well as a park. Just off a Main Street so if you have a car you’ll be able to get to your destinations quickly. Front desk was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again

Good unless you have a car

Hotel room was fine, beds very firm, fridge leaking and small. Parking is non-existent and you're given the option to pay to park several blocks away in a lot down a back alley. Would have been nice to know about the road closures during our stay which limited street parking even more

Fantastic value for money

This a great hotel. Well positioned just outside the old city but only 10 minutes away from the central square. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff very helpful and the breakfast excellent.

This is a lovely hotel with pleasant staff. Good selection for breakfast. Room lovely clean and spacious, handy having the fridge to keep milk etc in it. Location is ideal for tour bus stop with it being just up the road. 10minute walk to the square and lots of lovely restaurants. Would definitely return and recommend

What a fantastic find. This hotel offers exceptional value for money in great surroundings. The rooms are spacious with all the amenities needed. The staff in the hotel are welcoming, helpful and polite. Breakfast is fantastic - wide range of continental, cooked, breads, prosecco!!. The hotel itself and the rooms were immaculate and appear to be recently refurbished. If you want to use the spa/sauna need to pre-book a time slot.

Perfect location in lovely hotel

Lovely spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and welcoming staff who always helped with any query. Fantastic location as easy to walk to the old town and also the old Jewish quarter. Nice to stay in a hotel that felt traditionally Polish rather than a generic chain.

The hotel was fabulous. The street was a bit shabby, but okay with some construction going on nearby.

We'd stay here again. Comfortable room, nice to have space to sit rather than toss to decide who has to perch on the bed. Good breakfast and helpful, friendly staff. Not in the centre, so quiet, but the Old Town is about five minutes walk and Kasimierz ten. Be aware that the bath/shower could be on the high side if you have mobility issues. We coped, though, and we're both late seventies. Also a slip mat in the shower would be a good idea.

A very good base for your adventures! You're only a 5 minute walk from the square, funky shops and decent dining options. Friendly staff and a decent breakfast. Highly recommended

I would definitely stay again!

This is a lovely, clean modern hotel. The breakfast is incredible with an amazing selection of hot and cold foods, you could not wish for more. I particularly like the fact that reception is manned 24hrs.

Great location but poor air-con in scorching heat

Clean and well-kept. Location is fantastic for the old town which is just a few miutes walk away. Ther eis also a convenience shop right across the road. During the day, temperatures were hitting 30C but the air conditioning did not work in the room. It generated a very light breeze and turned off after a couple of hours leaving the room very hot. I complained 3 times and was told it was working fine. We had to sleep with the windows open with the temperature not becoming cool until after midnight. This made my son's hayfever worse which somewhat spoiled the trip. We picked this hotel specifically for the comfort of air conditioning. The breakfast was of ok quality but there were only small portions of each thing so it felt like you were picking at leftovers. We only used the hotel breakfast once and went around the corner to MoJa Cafe instead which was better value and quality. If you can stand the air con problem or go in colder months, it is ideal so our experience was only spoiled because of the hot weather and the hotels lack-lustre air con.

Great property. It is a shame the jacuzzi and sauna were so expensive to use.

The mattress was rather hard, not comfortable. Usually I find hotel mattresses ok, so please get better mattresses Ventus Rosa! Location and unusually a receptionist there were very good. Size of room was good.

Feel at Home

Friendly staff and very welcoming with fresh flowers and sweets at reception. Automatic door opening makes it easy with luggage. Room was spacious inc kitchenette and washing machine. Overall a lovely hotel.

Krakow city break

Fabulous hotel with very dilligent staff. Great location within walking distance to the main bustling square and short journey from the airport.

Excellent hotel

Excellent hotel, very comfortable and clean, quiet, and ideal location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only slight criticism was at breakfast. The eggs were generally cold where they had been left out but we asked and were brought freshly cooked with no problem apart from some language interpretation. We would go back if in Krakow again.

The hotel was the Perfect location for walking 5 minute's to the old town. It really nice, clean and the rooms nice and big- we had a room with an organgary which was nice. The breakfast option's were really good. The candyfloss machine for the kids was a nice touch Their spa was so gorgeous for a little relaxation as a couple and such a good price I'd definitely recommend it and even stay here again if i visited Poland again.

Lovely traditional decor, but with very up to date amenities. You could even rent a fish if you were lonely! Spotlessly clean. Lovely toiletries offered. In the heart of krakow so we could walk to most of the sites. Great space in the apartment hotels. Really friendly and helpful staff. Really nice buffet breakfast offered. Great value for money. Would thoroughly recommend.

This is a very nice small hotel in a convenient location the in Old Town district. The staff at the desk were always extremely friendly and willing to help. I would rebook here when I come back to Krakow!

Absolutely fabulous

Lovely boutique hotel in a good location. 5 minutes walk from the main square. Room was lovely and clean and well equipped.They put their own ground coffee in the room as well as coffee pods, tea etc. Comes with coffee machine, kettle, hob, sink & mini bar. If you are staying on your own you can rent a fish tank with a fish to keep you company which we thought was cute! Bed was nice and comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Staff were friendly and check in and out was seamless. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was amazing. The hotel is beautiful. Nothing seemed too much trouble and easy walking distance to the old market.

Veronica and the other hotel staff were very pleasant to deal with, and responsive to anything we needed. The hotel itself was designed for beauty and comfort. We were thoroughly pampered there! :)

4 days in Kraków

We have stayed in Kraków a few times and the Ventus Rosa is by far the best hotel that we have stayed in. From the friendliness of the staff to the cleanliness of the rooms, we couldn't fault them. We originally didn't book breakfast, but on our first morning we decided we may as well give it a go, glad we did! Superb. If we come back to Kraków again, this is where we will stay.

Great hotel - will definitely come back!

The hotel is lovely. Excellent facilities and extremely clean and tidy. Each room has ensuite facilities plus microwave, kettle, coffee maker and hob in the kitchen area. They even provide you with coffee and tea daily! Fresh towels are also provided daily. Their breakfast is great with all you can eat and a huge variety of foods. Their staff are really friendly and informative and nothing is too much trouble. Situated 5 minutes walk from Krakow centre.

Cosy apartment with nice atmosphere. The room has a small kitchen where you can cook something. Nice coffee from coffe-machine.
