Victor was super helpful . He took good care of us . We felt like we were home . I would highly recommend this place . Breakfast was home made . Very good .
The staff is excellent
The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Helped me get around and settle into the city. They made my visit a great one
Very clean. Kind staff. Not too far from the airport.
Great stay in Cusco
Exceptional service from the staff. I would recommend staying here
Manager very good to deal with. Limited heat in the room and limited food choices
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and nice. We would highly recommend this hotel.
This was a wonderful boutique type hotel. It was clean and the staff were very kind and friendly. They helped with all our tours. Our fight got canceled and they let us stay an extra night in our same room at minimal cost, with breakfast. It was great. Would definitely recommend.
V good. Felt safe. Owners were very helpful
Clean hotel with nice rooms and excellent service. Very good breakfast. It was convenient that for all my tours they picked me up at the hotel (drop-off is generally in the Plaza de Armas area, about a 20-minute walk).
The breakfast was great. The room lacked amenities like iron, blow dryer, fridge, extra towels. No extra toilet paper was left in room. Heat is an extra charge. You could also hear construction going on. The hallway light was always off so hard to see where the key lock was without using phone flashlight. It was uncomfortable that every time you left building they want you to turn in your room key everytime.
Vety good.
Spent one night here, the service was excellent, we needed to leave early in the morning, they checked our plan and provided a bag of breakfast for us which was so nice. Only issue is the bathroom was newly renovated, the smell was strong. I believe it will be better after a while
Very accommodating, clean, fairly close to historical district without all the noise.
Great place to stay during your vacations at Cusco! Quiet and clean. All good places are walkable from this hotel. The best part is the breakfast!
Very family oriented very safe and delicious breakfast!!!
Impecable room and service. The complimentary breakfast is incredible. The owner is very nice and welcoming. Highly recommend!
Awesome customer service felt like home
This was a fantastic stay in Cusco. The property owner was extremely nice and helpful. He gave us tons of great advice too!
The owner Victor and his family were very helpful and accommodating. Daily breakfast and airport transfer was included. And even prepared a bag of fruits and snacks for us when we had to leave the hotel early. The hotel was also very clean. Highly recommended!
Staff went above and beyond to make comfortable. Because we spoke English they “Liz” brought in guides “Rosa” and arranged tours that could speak with us also. When we left in the early hours for tours they even packed us breakfast and bottled waters so we had a good start. Breakfast on the property was good and is complimentary as well. Last but very importantly they monitor everyone safety by checking everyone s coming and going through a single locked front entrance. We felt cared for and safe.
I would recomend Ureta to anyone traveling to Cusco , the staff is attentive and always ready to help . the manager Don Victor is the heart and central nerve of this property and would go to great length to make sure your stay is wonderful. If im ever in cusco again i wouldnt stay any other place but at Ureta.
The property was what I expected and more.
The Ureta Hotel was absolutely wonderful to me and my husband. It’s definitely a no frills hotel but it was affordable, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff went above and beyond.
All hotel personnel provided outstanding customer service, they all went above and beyond the call of duty
Front desk very helpful. We had a great dinner based on his recommendation. Great beds and plenty of bedding!
Great Value
This hotel is fairly new in a neighborhood a bit distant from the historic city center. The staff, though not conversant in English, were most helpful and worked hard to bridge the language barrier. It was a great value.
Ureta Hotel Cusco Peru
Nothing but an awesome hotel. Very nicely located within walking distance to eating places and to Plaza de Armas at less than a mile away walking distance. Mr. Victor, owner of hotel, is nothing less than outstanding! Room are very comfortable, very clean, bathrooms are very clean. Breakfast is included and healthy. Mr. Victor prepared us breakfast to go at 4:30 in the morning even thought hours are 6-9 daily, wow! I will highly recommended this hotel during a stay in Cusco, Peru.
Ureta Hotel Cusco Peru
As a U.S. Marine I have traveled the world and stayed in many hotel and hostels. Ureta Hotel is by far the best I have stayed for a hotel. The owner is above and beyond courteous, attentive, and extremely caring. Each day he prepares my family of five a breakfast to take since we left at five each morning even thought breakfast hours are six to nine every morning (breakfast is included in the daily rate). The rooms are comfortable with wifi. I highly recommend this hotel!
Victor and his staff showed us the utmost care and accommodation. The location was convenient for walking or public transportation. I highly recommend this hotel.
Excellent place to stay in Cusco! Very friendly staff!
Friendly Employees
We communicated through WhatsApp, very convenient!
Clean hotel and nice staff. We booked pick up service but they never came.
Economical, great service and good rooms. Getting hot water in showers and vanity was sometimes a challenge.
Very well maintained . Great service. Nice breakfast every day. Even pack your breakfast if you are leaving early for hike or tour.
Well maintained. Tasty breakfast and they even pack your breakfast if you are leaving early. Very hard working local family run buisness.
The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The facility itself was for the most part clean, but it could use updating when it comes to the room keys and having access to the rooms. The property only allows one key per room and it must be turned in whenever guests leave the hotel.
El personal muy agradable y servicial
Great staff, we got help and support in all possible ways. Just remember that shuttle from airport to the hotel is free, but the return shuttle is not.
Excellent customer service, friendly and helpful staff, smooth check-in and check-out process, close to the city center and great overall value for money. 10/10 would recommend!
Rooms are extremely cold; so noisy in the night that you can hardly sleep; people can hardly speak English.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Victor and the other staff were amazing. They went above and beyond for us. The breakfast was delicious and whenever we had an early morning excursion, Victor ensured breakfast was ready for us to take with us. You could feel the genuine love and care in all the services rendered. I will definitely be staying here the next time I’m in Cusco.
Excellent hotel, nice and clean. Check in and check out was super simple.
Amazing and kind staff. Seems like a family business. A bit outside the city center but still a safe area, we never had any issues. Walkable at any hour to be frank.
Amazing experience at Ureta Hotel! When we decided to take a trip to South America, choosing the right hotel took a lot of our time. Thankfully, we made a great choice by picking Ureta Hotel for our stay in Cusco. The location is excellent—just a 15-20 minute walk to the historic downtown area. The hotel is incredibly clean, comfortable, and staffed by friendly people. Special thanks to Victor and his wife, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. Not only did they provide exceptional service, but they also made fantastic recommendations. The breakfast was outstanding; we’ve never felt so spoiled with delicious omelettes, fresh bread, and amazing fresh fruit. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I return to Cusco, Peru.
The Ureta Hotel staff were amazing and super helpful
We loved staying here. The owner and his staff were amazing and took great care of us. The rooms are nice and very clean. Breakfast everyday was a nice change from the USA with a Peruvian style breakfast which was very nice. Easy walk to the squares in town and much quieter than staying in a central hotel given the crowds and noise. Highly recommended.
Very nice and clean. Not in the center of the city. Super helpful staff.
Very clean and excellent value.
This a a great hotel to stay at. You can walk safetly To any place in Cusco that you need to. The owner and the workers are great people who are willing to help you with anything that you need help with. It’s a safe place to stay 10/10
The hotel is run by the owners and, they are very attentive to help all the guests. As a solo traveler that made me feel safe and comfortable. The only bad thing was that I got a room facing the big avenue and the noise was loud during the night. Other than that, I would recommend this place for a short stay and a medium-low budget (in comparison to the top hotel costs).
Quick and easy
Horrible customer service.
The staff are amazing! Even though they don’t speak much English they try hard to communicate with you using google translate. Not just for main information but also to have a nice chit chat. The bed is very comfortable and they have a nice hot shower - exactly what you need after trekking and camping! It’s a short walk into town but there are also cheaper food options nearby like Mr Soup, which is great!
The staff were very accommodating!
Clean and friendly
The hotel and room were very clean. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was amazing!
Very humble staff! Clean rooms.
Best hotel manager
The manager in this hotel is world-class: friendly, helpful, detail-oriented and with a sense of humor. The hotel is very well managed: clean, good breakfast, safe and flexible with our requests. Only thing to note is that it does not have air conditioner. We are here in late July and it was a bit cold at night.
This was my first time in peru and also my first time leaving a review on Expedia. Before arrival, upon arrival ,and after messaging the Hotel, we were not picked up from the airport despite it being an amenity offered by the hotel. The issues did not stop there. The hotel also describes that both English and Spanish would be spoken, but our whole experience was dictated by the use of google translate as no staff could understand or speak English. It should also be noted that the room did not have air conditioning or heat and the only means of warmth was provided via blankets. Lastly, upon checkout, we were charged additionally for using a hand towel to clean our garments despite us cleaning it and it possessed minimal staining which could have been removed from proper washing (I would expect the hotel to expect this as Peru is known for its treacherous landscape and various hiking excursions which can lead to dirty clothing requiring cleaning). Overall, this should be a last choice for your stay in Cusco if you are looking for a relaxing time after experiencing one of the seven wonders of the world. It should also be mentioned that no offer was extended to us for a return shuttle back to the airport and we had to buy another Uber. I’m not one to bash or want to cause issues, but this was very disappointing considering seeing high ratings for this place. The staff did try to be polite, but there was more inconveniences that outweighed polite staff.
Friendliest hotel owners ever!! We came in late and exhausted from our Inca Trail trek and they helped us order a pizza and helped us find a local pharmacy as well. It was nice to be away from the touristy area and to walk around with locals in the evening. The beds were comfortable and the room was super clean. I was initially perplexed when they asked what time we would like breakfast in the morning, but was so impressed by the multiple course homemade hot breakfast that was served. Delicious! Thank you!
This is one of the best stays I ever had. 20/5stars
Excellent service, friendly staff and very helpful.
This is a relatively modern hotel. Our room (for a family of four) was clean and the staff were friendly. We arrived late at night after a visit to Machu Picchu, and had to leave very early in the morning for a flight. The staff were accommodating and even packed some food for us in the morning. The hotel is about 30 min walk from Plaza Mayor de Cusco. That was a non issue for us as we needed a place for a short, one night stop over.
Victor was an excellent host. He was very attentive to all my needs
El señor Víctor es un excelente host ame su hotel me sentí en familia! Muchísimas gracias por arroparme y consentirme en mi estadía. Y las conversaciones también espero vernos pronto de regreso. Beautiful hotel, family owned beautiful people and attention was excellent, looking forward to be back Gracias Con amor Vianne
Great family owned hotel, the management is great and will accommodate all requests. Definitely recommend this hotel
It’s a safe property and walking distance to restaurants and mall within 20 minutes.
We stay for one day before we went to Machupicchu, service and place were awesome. We decided to come back after our tour. Mr. Victor, his wife, and staff are friendly and let you feel welcome. Breakfast are great too.
I loved this hotel, the location is great. This is a hotel runs by a family, Mr. Ureta and his wife are very friendly and let you feel like home. They daily breakfast is delicious s s plentiful. It you need to leave for a early tour, the prepare a breakfast bag for tou to eat on your way.
Traveling alone is always a little scarey. Victor and his wife treated me like family. All my requests were quickly addressed. Great people.
Great customer service. Don Victor the owner was very polite and helpful. Fells like at home!! Thanks for everything!! Will recommend it!!
Staff was very personable. Everything was very clean and lots of space in each room. I booked twice (four days total) during my Inca Trail adventure.
The best place to stay at! Victor made me feel I’m home, take care of my son, got him oxygen shot and help us , and the next day his wife made soup for my son , when I come back to Cusco I will only stay at ureta thank you so much for taking care of us :)
Very nice management. Great breakfast!
Victor is the kindest and most gentle soul we have met in Cusco. He was incredibly attentive to all our needs, and treated us like family. Even arranged for a free airport pickup for us. The breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean. I'd highly recommend Ureta to anyone visiting Cusco.
Loved our stay! The couple that runs it are very nice and helpful! You can tell they care a lot about their visitors and inn. We didn't have any problem storing our luggage during a excursion to Machu Picchu. They were even up to see us off at 3 am with snacks and water. Rooms are clean and breakfast is simple but lovely. It's farther away from the city center but in exchange it"s a much quieter location.
The owners really cared about us and it felt like we were staying at a friend’s home. They took care of our every need. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Great hotel if you're traveling on a budget. Meet all our needs for our night in Cusco. Very hospitable owner. Delicious breakfast that was made to order at the time guests request the night before.
That place was wonderful. I felt like i was home. The pack my breakfast every morning since i wasn't going to be there during breakfast hr. Everyone was very friendly especially the owner. I would come back to this especial place that make you feel like home.
Couldn’t be better stay
Great stay , super friendly people . Awesome stay , they make us feel like home . Wonderful breakfast. Couldn’t be better . I will recommend this place to friends and family .
Staff were friendly and eager to help. Nice and quiet at night time. Safe and secure building relatively close to airport.
We had a smooth checkin and checkout experience. The hotel and the room was very clean. At the time of checking in, we mentioned we had a flight to catch early in the morning and we won’t be having breakfast from the hotel due to that. They were very thoughtful and gave us a breakfast to go when we checkout out early in the morning.
The hosts were very hospitable and the rooms were very nice!
It felt like visiting grandparents house. the owners live in the hotel and make sure your stay gives you positive vibes only
Staff was amazing!
The people here are extremely friendly and the place is very clean!
The owner and his family are excellent hosts. They are very friendly and welcoming. The location is a bit far from Cusco main square - about 20 mins walk and at a place not considered as a primą location. The internet is spotty and slow. The breakfast time needs to be confirmed each night for next morning and the food is prepared for you - not buffet like big hotels. The food is very similar each morning with little variety.
The property manager provided excellent and personalized service during our stay.
The property manager, Victor, was particularly attentive and helpful in providing guidance during our stay. He gave us two maps of the city and answered all our questions, called a cab when requested and helped his staff during breakfast, which was great of him to do. He really went above and beyond. Highly recommend Ureta Hotel.
Short trip to Machu Pichu
Hotel Ureta is a decent hotel that is equipped with standard amenities needed for a quick getaway. It is recommended well and is nearby the airport and the town plaza in Cusco. The staff were amazingly helpful!
The manger of the place is a great person and very friendly, with the rest of the staff
Our stay here was perfect. The staff is so kind and helpful and the breakfast included is AMAZING we loved it. Such a home-y feel like we were welcomed into their home. A great place.
Excellent service and people
Staff were extremely good. But hotel is average. Breakfast was good.
So many good things, but to summarize: staff is incredibly friendly, the breakfast is outstanding, hotel is so clean, and you feel cared for
Very kind staff
