My girst impression of the property was formed at check-in where it was pretty clear that the staff are over worked and under pressure. While courteous they were quite short. Its odd thst they walk away from the desk with the passport when there is ample technology available to enable scanning at their work station. Rooms are spacious though the breakages list with associated replacement costs s typical of a low end facility. It left a bad taste in my mouth. There was mo television in the bedroom and the washing machine leaked when used. My key card did not work at least half the time which required me to return from a high floor back down to the reception. Might be time to upgrade this equipment as it seemed to be causing difgiculties gor a number of guests. The price for this hotel attracted me to stay but in the end was not sufficient to counter balance the experience. It wouldnt take alot to turn Urbana into a truly great experience. It would take alot of convincing for me to stay again in the future. And thats a pity as it has serious potential.

벌써 5년째 여름 휴가때마다 방문하는 호텔인데 지하철역도 가깝고 주변에 맛집과 마사지샵이 많아 편하게 여유를 보내기에 좋안 곳이디. 아침 조식도 종류가 다양하며 맛또한 매우 좋다! 다만 올해는 무료로 제공되던 생수가 비용이 청구되어 아쉬움이 있다.

Location and value

I dont wonder what is the reason that led to a layer of thick Masala source in the rubbish bin remain unclean by your staff

I like the overall value of this property. Staff is getting better and dining options are improving.

Food & location

Like the location, outside is easy to walk and by street food. The room was quiet and clean.

1. There is a price list regarding the damaged good to be compensated on the table of room which is totally non-professional. 2. Strictly no extend of check-out time. 3. The staff “FuFu” insist me to post the post card myself which is non-professional. This is my first time the hotel staff reject to provide assistance for posting the post card.

Very nice hotel

get into two lifts to get to car park. couldnt exit carpark on my own had to get out of car and go to reception to lift boomgate.

A little dated but staff really helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was generally very busy and they could do with a new coffee machine which was slow and filter coffee not filled regularly. Great pool which will be better when bar is opened.

Beautiful apartments With all the luxury service. Nice pool with great view. Housekeeping was great. Checkin process was easy. Our apartment was on road side And there was lot of traffic sound. Overall we enjoyed staying here.

Property is beautiful and very clean!! Rooms are spacious and clean. Local areas with local shops and restaurants hidden around eveey corner and ally! Beautiful balcony views!

We stayed in the executive apartment on the 33rd floor. It was huge with so much space everywhere and the view was amazing from everyone. Friendly staff. Great pool. Good variety of breakfast options

Convenient location and comfortable environment

Very poor communication from the reception desk, none of the phone lines worked in the rooms, could not even contact the reception desk, upon complaining nothing was done to fix it, didn’t feel the warm welcome you normally get upon checking in to the hotel, they weren’t as friendly at the reception desk. The porters at the door were very nice, very helpful and polite. The property is quite old and run down, in the pictures it looks so different compared to what it actually is. Don’t be fooled by the pictures

Its a 3 star and pool area is bad

Urbana is not a 5 or a 4 star hotel! Beware as its listed as such on many hotel pages! The rooms are ok however many items are damaged ( for us there was a cigarette burn on one of the armchairs/phone not working/ aircon making horrible noise at night and ultimately nit working) and as a traveller you waste your time to report those to management. If you are a person that likes to relax by the pool - their pool is not very well maintained - for about 1000 guest capacity this hotel has 5sun beds - 2 out of which are damaged beyond point of use but left for all of the guests to see. The around the pool area is a dangerous area for the kids as the below grass panels are broken and you are at high risk or breaking your leg or falling and hitting your head agaist the pool. I do not recommend and ask hotels.com to take them off as 5 star listing.

Overall, the suite is OK. The property is very old, must have been built in the early 90s. Maintenance is good as they tried to keep it as clean as possible. Air condition works great, very cold. The washing maching is not dual washer/dryer as advertised, so you have to hang up your clothings to dry. TV is horrible, only 3 or 4 stations on "standard" definition, but this is not critical as we did not visit Bangkok to watch TV. On our checkout, we we told we have to pay for two bottles of water, which I thought was a rip-off, considering the fact that we checked out at 7.30 am and room service has not replaced the 4 bottles of water that we are entitled to everyday. Although it is only 50 baht per bottle, it is the principle that counts. We didn't argue and just paid up. The walk to Si Lom and Lumphini MRTs is quite far and not the best for tourists. We ended up using Grab from Urbana Sathorn to the MRT stations all the time.

Great spacious apartment

Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. The accommodation is getting a bit tired now, but very clean. Housekeeping did a good job everyday. My only criticism is that there were only 5 sunloungers at the pool and they needed replacing.

Excellent value for money.

Very clean hotel with excellent facilities. Beds are very comfortable and good variety of options for breakfast. Location near BTS so very convenient for exploring Bangkok. Would recommend staying at this hotel to others.

Area houses several embassies and is generally safe and relatively quiet in the evenings. For food options, many places are within a 10 mins walk away.

: The room is so big and clean. : Very good swimming pool : 8 mins walking to BTS station " Sala Daeng" or only 10 mins to downtown by taxi.

Overall lighting not bright enough

Stayed in Room 1009. Room was big but air-conditioner in the lounge was not cold, i.e. not able to set it cold. Very frustrating! Not enough lighting as well.

Love this place!

Equipment is not adequate such as hair dryer! Only 4 bath towels for 5 persons were given after room cleaning everyday! Water leaking from bathtub was seriously!

Very old, dirty, and ghostly. It’s rated as 5 stars on expedia, but it can’t even qualify for 2 stars international standard.

I must express my profound disappointment with the level of friendliness by the staff here. Despite my multiple reminders, they did not follow up on my request to fix the telephone. Furthermore, I specifically asked them to come and teach us how to use the washing machine on the first day of check-in, but they never showed up. Even when I requested them to come the next day, they failed to fulfill their promise. Additionally, I had to ask for a bathrobe, and it took them a whole hour to respond, only to question whether I still wanted it. It is quite obvious that I needed it; otherwise, why would I have requested it in the first place? Needless to say, the service provided does not live up to the standards one would expect from a 4-star hotel. Given my unpleasant experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to other people. =(

Around the pool it’s wooden planks covered in fake grass. The boards are rotten and you nearly get you’re feet stuck in holes .the pool surrounding area was dirty and the sun deck table rotten/broken and sun deck sofa broken really poor no one cares to repair/replace WHY !??

Checked into a room ac didnt work they switch us to a different room ac leak water everywhere. Went down to get breakfast ask the cook for fried egg he act like he was going to cook then just went on to do something else.... i would never stay there again

Urbana Sathorn is not a 4 star hotel. It is a serviced appartment hotel. Id give it 3 starts in its current state and condition. It has a pool, that has broken spa and broken sauna and the floorbaords around the pool are covered in fake green grass that move and bounce when you walk on them. Majority of chairs borken and open use of cabls trying things together. It has simply seen better days. The pool bar is ridiculously overpriced- $7 AUD for a warm diet coke and took 20 mins to find ice for the drink. Wanbted Ice for the room but couldnt have it because the bar closes at 5.45pm. Breakfast options were ok, at least omlette to order was available. Entrance staff in the lobby nice enough and the place was clean down there but the area outside stank of canabis whic his now legal in Thailand. The room was a 1 bedroom delux. Clearly fallinh apaprt, no cupboard doors and the hot water took between 5-6 mins to come through. It was very clean but clearly dated. Booked a room with a washing machine and it wouldnt work so came home with a suitcase of dirty clothes. One staff told me it is earmarked for a huge renovation in 2024. It absolutley needs it. It was convenient in termos of locaiton bu be warned, South Sathorn Road turns into a carpark from 4pm for at least 4 hours so youll need to chose where youre going and what yoiure doing. I wouldnt stay here agina because I know I can do better for the money until it is renvoated.

Traffic is a bit inconvenient. Hotel rate is quite friendly.

Fantastic staff - tired property

Good hotel

Dear Urbana Sathorn, i love your hotel and always stay there. But this trip, the whole hotel smells of cannabis! Please do something about this as this degrades and cheapens your hotel!

The hotel was fine for our 6 night stay in Bangkok. The rooms on the front (and side) of the building are very noisy from street traffic but we upgraded and were able to change to one on the back - overlooking the pool and it was very very quiet. The rooms were so reasonably priced that the extra charge to upgrade was negligible. One of the 2 air conditioners only worked as a heater - after the 3 attempts by the hotel to fix it we gave up. Having a washing machine was also helpful. The breakfast was great every morning with lots of options. Location was also perfect for us. Easy taxi rides to sites and walkable to many. We would stay again but only if we could have a room on the back side.

We stayed as a family of 4 in the premium suite. The room was amazing, with an excellent view of the city skyline. Overall we loved our stay... so much so we stayed for an extra night. The kids loved the large pool, however it had rained the day we got there, which meant the green artificial turf around the pool gave off a foul odour for a couple days. Also, the pool at night was rather forgettable... not well lit and not very inviting. Otherwise the hotel, room, staff and area were excellent. Would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay! We were looking to spend some time at the pool during our trip so this hotel was great. Only wish we could have stayed longer! But we will be back.

A very good location close to Silom and all its attractions as well as the sky train. Very handy.

Bad hotel

This is a very poor hotel compared to what you see in the photos on the website. In the pic it looks fancy but when you get there it looks pretty old. Breakfast didn't taste good at all. My recommendation is to avoid this hotel.

Clean and comfy

The area was convenient with a lot to do. It was a little crowded on the streets which took adjusting to but the hotel room itself was nice and comfy, although a little small. Very nice bathroom and shower.. hot water. There was no microwave and we had to push reinvests together but all else was good.

Disappointed that they had no working steam irons to enable the pressing of a business suit. Not ideal.

Short stay

Hotel is nice but I wouldn't not say it is 5 star. Location is good since easy go everywhere. There is few restaurants near by but need to walk couple minutes. Hotel restaurant is not open night and that was a little bit disappointing. In the pool area you have nice views but there should be more sunbeds. We tried to message some wishes to hotel before but they didn't read our messages. We wanted to have let check out and needed to tell thia reception 4 different person that it was confirmed. Piccolo man was friendly, and all good for him!

I have stayed here many times. Nice staff, spacious rooms with balcony. Great view of the skyline. MRT reasonably close by. Great value for the price!

The executive room had plenty of space and kitchenette. The cleaning staff were prompt in delivering extra towels etc. I very much enjoyed the breakfast buffet with made to order omelettes.

Excellent stay

This is a lovely hotel and great value for money, the rooms are spacious and well furnished, staff very friendly and helpfull at all times. Close to choing nonsi for easy rail transport to airports and around town. Lets of nice resteraunts near by.

Nice and quiet in a pretty busy area. Great service and cleaning service. Nice spacious room and living room. Only thing is the water was not easy to use in my master bedroom. Would be nice if the swimming pool stayed open later, but understand if it's for COVID reasons. Still this is a great hotel and would love to come back again.

Run down but still a good value

The FuramaXclusive is a good value for a 3-star hotel in a great location near shopping and public transport. But it's tatty furniture and dilapidated fixtures give away that this hotel left behind its supposed 4-star rating long ago. Its WiFi is impossibly unreliable—you'll need a good cellular data connection to survive. Its kitchenettes come with no utensils or dinnerware, only a couple of coffee mugs. And the graciousness typical of Bangkok hotels was apparently also cut to trim costs. But if you set your expectations properly, it's still worth it.

We chose here for New Year Celebration. We appreciated staffs are quick to respond on water pressure issue and fix it. Room amenities are also all rounded. We would recommend hotel to better inspect to decrease dissatisfaction for future guests. Thank you and we will choose you again for next friends meetup.

As always, great room for the price. However, water was only lukewarm and sheets were stained.

The room I stayed is maintained well. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly.

This hotel is dated and dirty. The room safe constantly acted up. The water heater in the room had to be repaired. The internet connection to the smart tv kept dropping in and out. The construction noise from the new building next door was disturbingly loud and it was seven days a week.

The location of hotel is good. However, the conditions of the hotel is not good anymore. Also, the construction next to the hotel block the view of the hotel.

Amazing

Second time here and I can say once again that this is an amazing place to stay in Bangkok. Well located near patpong and in two BT’s station.

Near to BTS, Family mart and & 7 11 apartment is huge

Having a washing machine in the suite, with free washing powder, made our travels much easier. We appreciated it. The suites (we were in both an executive and later a premium suite) were very spacious. Not the most modern of places, but we really enjoyed it. It was good value for money. The location was great - just across the road (Silom Road) had so much to explore, and the BTS and Metro are very close. We didn’t realise how close we were to patpong night market... which made for a novel night out (the ping pong shows are a scam! Avoid).

The noise from the traffic and construction next door was a little irritating.

Nice if you can ignore receptionist’s attitude

Thé room and facility are nice and clean but the front desk service is definitely lacking. The day that I checked in there were 2 receptionists, one doesn’t speak Thai and one Thai speaking person. To my surprise, the one who can’t speak Thai was really nice while the Thai speaking one was having attitude towards few customers including me. No service mind at all, not typically Thai style. She seemed to be in her bad mood and it showed to us, guests of the hotel.

The property was nice and spacious. There were some construction next door which was kind of loud but that is out of the hotel’s control. I loved the view of my room which was the pool view and over looked Bangkok’s skyline. My most unsatisfying concern was with check in. We came in earlier (about 10 am) and was advised we could check in our first booked room at 12 pm and the other two rooms at 2 pm. However, we were not able to as promised. It was a little after 1 pm when we were able to check in and the front desk receptionist advised the room was still being cleaned. I advised the front desk receptionist that is best to promise what could be met rather than what could not to provide better customer service and she seemed a bit bothered by what was said. I believe hotel management will need to re-organize housekeeping to become more efficient to meet check in deadlines. It appears as if we were the only party that was still waiting several hours for our room. I had a party of 11.

Hotel condition is a bit worn. However it has a great pool that you can enjoy the suntan for the whole day

Better accommodation available in Bangkok

Well price for large apartment business type accommodation. Good location on South Sathorn Rd Interiors are dated and needs a re-fit Staff were pleasant, beds were comfortable, large kitchen/living area. Bathroom dated, no bath. Faucet was broken and leaked everywhere. Housekeeping should have seen this long ago. I rang reception and it was promptly replaced. I was on the 13th floor with good views but noisy from this very busy road. Not planning to book this again.

The shower head holder broke right away, then someone fixed itbright away tyat was good. When I went swimming, i kept on finding whole and shards of tile pieces at the bottom of the pool. I kept on picking them up so no one would step and cut them self. I think the pool could be redone so it doesn't continue pealing up. Mostly had a good time and i will be coming back in the future.

3 bedroom is spacious and perfect for group travellers. the best part is there were 3 bathrooms

Value for money. Big and the bed was very comfortable. Only need to improve the housekeeping a little.

Rediscovery

A bit far but able to get to placed by bts and grab spaces apartment the facility is there

The swimming pool is suck! I got hurt in the first day. They only provide simple medical. And no body cares.The second I saw a little girl get hurts too!The third day Korean guy also get hurt. Please pay attention for this issue a lot for traveler’s safety! And it’s really let me down for my vacation!

House keeping need to be improved.

Hotel located only few minutes walked to sky train which able to transport to almost anywhere in the Thai cities by train. House keeping did not do a good job to clean our room or will skip not to clean the room.

About 5 minutes walking to BTS and street food near by but there are cockroaches in the room

Apartment is spacious and clean. The only issue we had is the microwave just can't heat up any food. Overall is a nice apartment to stay in
