Very nice property, clean and good location!

We had a great 6 days in this hotel. Did not use breakfast since we favoured in the near vicinity where there are great places to eat for very little - try Bar Mavi on 31 Deciembre street. The breakfast room did look fantastic though. Staff at reception were fantastic and we found the suite to be spotless. Train/bus station just outside hotel. We had junior suite on 7th floor 14 til 20th September 2024.

Good central location. Pay parking across the street. The room was comfortable but in need of repairs of several items. I think this hotel is a 3 star and not a 4 star. I will stay another nite before I leave Mallorca

Great place to stay. In walking distance of lots of bars and restaurants and right by the bus station. Quiet even though on a main road. Good air conditioning. Friendly and welcoming staff

Hotel was nice and the staff super helpful. The only thing is their carpets need to change! They are too old and non cleanable it seems. Otherwise it was great!

Lovely time in Palma

We had a lovely time here, good location, friendly and helpful staff. The room wasn’t huge but very nice and the air con was working perfectly so we were pleased. House keeping staff came daily, did a good job

Romantic night in Palma.??

Hotel now looking a little tired. No blanket or quilt during the chilly evening. Normally we have tea making facilities, TV had no English speaking channels. Shower head had less than 20 % of spray working. Breakfast service very disappointing. Young lady responsible was overwhelmed, consistently running out of hot food, and no tables being cleared as and when clients finished. Our favorite hotel to stay in whilst in Palma, is now in need of a facelift.

We were very happy to stay here. We got upgraded to the penthouse suite because of a lack of rooms available and the experience was fantastic! However, if we would have paid for the upgrade we would have been disappointed. The room was incredibly outdated - the photos from their site on that specific room are staged. The cons: There were burns on the carpet, no working ac in the bedroom, uncomfortable beds, and a large crack in the bathroom sink and a lack of amenities within the hotel. But as an experience we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The pros: The views from our 9 windows were stunning, the location couldn’t be beat, areas within the hotel were charming, and the staff was very kind to us. Overall we had a great time.

Great location

The hotel was in an ideal location near bus station and not far from lots of bars / restaurants. The room was really big however the bed and pillows weren’t the comfiest.

I had a VERY GOOD experience in this hotel-I would recommend it to anyone who visit Palma de Mallorca-another plus : location , close and/or easy access to any place in the city. There is only one "little minus" : the rug on the aisle (at least on floor #2 where my room was) needs to be changed. The breakfast-buffet also excellent

Tea and Coffee making facilities would be nice. Also the outdoor bar was not available - and there was no-one serviving the inside bar.

Amazing location, great employees hotel

Amazing location and close to bus service. It is close to shops, historic downtown, many restaurants and bars. Employees are amazing and helpful. They provided me with a lot of valuable information about where to go and do. The room carpet needs to be replaced bec while it is clean it is stained and it looks dirty. This would be such an easy fix. The bathroom was spacious and with a window. I would go back. Taxi to airport was leas than 20 euros. Then u can enjoy walking around the area.

The Palacio Avenida definitely needs to be refurbished.It's like a throwback to the 1970's.

It was in a good position for the city. Room was very nice. The breakfast buffet was okay but they kept running out of food and there was just one person serving. The “hot” buffet selection was cold.

Hotel was great and in a really good location. There was a parking garage right next it and it was very centrally located. Our only real complaint was the futuristic shower. I felt like Stallone trying to figure out the 3 shells in Demolition Man! It was very confusing and not working right on top of it all. All that said we would stay again.

Very friendly staff and clean room but would have liked tea making facilities. The shower had low water pressure too.

Perfect Hotel

Great central position for a city break. I’ve been here a number of times. I know Palma and it’s hotels very well and really it is excellent value for money. The rooms are interesting and beds very comfortable. The bathrooms are large and bright an airy.

Terrible Hotel!!

Hotel room was quite dirty, service was none existenting, and breakfast very very medio core. You only like this hotel if you like staying at a hostel!! Only good think about this place is the location because it’s right in downtown Palma.

Quite simply the most uncomfortable bed I have ever come across and incredibly slow internet which took far too long to fix.

It was ok

The location is great! Right in the old city center which is great for day walks lunch and dinners, but everything closes early 11 pm the most. So if you like to party thats not where you will stay. For us it was perfect because I was there with my mom, if I was with friends I would stay by the port where everything is open until the morning. The staff is very friendly, hotel was clean, I wish breakfast was included though, you have to pay extra, but we decided to explore the local cafes and try something new every day which worked. Overall great experience!

I could not take a shower or even brush my teeth because there was a problem with extremely warm water. Unprofessional and disappointing!!!

Good value for money

Conveniently located. Comfortable king size bed. Clean and good size room tastefully furnished. We had trouble regulating the air conditioning. Shower operation a bit of a mystery.

Most Splendid Hotel

Great location and Hotel. Wonderful breakfast. I read a few negative reviews about this hotel so was a little concerned - but no need - ok the odd stain on a carpet but all very clean and the staff and service very good. Don't hesitate to book - we will definitely use this hotel again.

Perfect location and a good place for a rest

It was a perfect short stay. Location is very convenient both a bus ride from the airport and a walk distance to the old town. Very quiet and relaxed room for a good night sleep. I’ll definit come back again.

Would Not Wish to Stay Again

The location of the hotel is convenient though quite noisy with city traffic and lights at night. The bathroom was not in good condition.

The staff are very very kind, the size of the room is perfect for 2 people, everything clean, with a lot of stuffs in the room. Just the carpet looks not good, because there is some stains. But it is clean and without smell.

A good stay at the Palacio Avenida

A positive stay. The room was very pleasant, clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful offering to look after luggage free after we had checked out and before being picked up. The hotel is a walk to all the main sights in Palma.

Central Hotel, Great Coffee!

I have stayed in the hotel several times in recent years, and the advantages outweighed the disadvantages. I have stayed in rooms where the room appeared to be almost the length of the front of the hotel, smaller well appointed rooms and finally, the room I was allocated this time. Breakfast is available in a very pleasant room with Nespresso coffee on tap, a selection of cereals and bread, pastries etc. I looked into the hot food selection and replaced the lid immediately. I considered that it was however worth 12 euros. Lunch is served in the same room, but evening meals are not served and there is no bar. Very often after a busy day, one might enjoy a drink in the hotel - alas not possible. The room I was allocated was a tiny, depressing single room for a disabled person. The first time I went into the shower I cut my foot on the concrete ramp intended for a wheelchair and the was practically scalded by the shower which was difficult to control and would clearly pose a problem for someone who was disabled. The carpets were very dirty and need to be replaced with a material which can be easily cleaned. The bed which was a good size, was very low, but clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping standard very good, apart from the carpets which would defy cleaning. I asked the receptionist why I had been allocated a room for a disabled person responded that the hotel was 'very busy' and as I was alone, the only one available. Extremely disappointing!

The rooms were uncomfortably hot: 25 degrees. No airco. I had to open the windows to get it a bit cooler - more comfortable in the room.

Christmas shopping trip.

Since our last stay last December, the hotel appears to have lost its sparkle. Reception was less friendly, less organized, car parking was no longer free. However most of all , the whole visit could be summed up as ‘tired’. From the entrance to the bedroom to the dining room is sadly in need of repair. Carpets stained and looking filthy. Walls missing paper and paint, and every time we tried to have a drink, there was no sign of any staff. Finally both myself and my wife, awoke with back pain due to a very old mattress which sank as soon as you sat on it never mind sleep for around 8 hours. Sorry, but that’s how we felt after such a wonderful stay 12 months ago.

Fine for an overnight stay.

Most said before, it's fine, it's conveniently placed for popping into the nice parts of the city and also transport back to airport. One or two odd design decisions in the room - overall feels quite dark. Clean, comfy bed and very good price. Lovely staff. Bus back to airport just across the road.

1 night stay

This is our second stay at this hotel and chosen for the proximity to the bus station with easy connections to the airport and Soller. The room was comfortable although the carpet was stained and in need of a clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast varied and plentiful. Would stay again.

Another Stay at Palacio Avenida

I always stay in this hotel when visiting Palma due to the central position and amenities. The beds are very comfortable and quiet despite its position in one of the busiest areas of the city, Breakfast is even better than when I visited in the spring with excellent coffee available from Nespresso coffee makers, and a wide range of food on offer. The carpets are looking tired in stained. I would prefer a laminated floor surface which is easily cleaned, but that is a personal choice.. Taps in the bathroom need replacing but a small point. I look forward to my next visit in the spring.

This is not a 4 star hotel. It was a decent 3 star hotel. The person at the front desk when we checked in was very helpful and it was in a good area. But, if you are expecting 4 star accommodations, you will be disappointed.

Good location convenient to the transport hub

The lobby is small and can get crowded at checkin and checkout, but otherwise not a single problem with our stay. Friendly staff, good value (it was off-season -- might be more expensive in the summer), efficient service, good wifi, fairly priced breakfast with a wide assortment of choices, and the location was excellent for shopping and traveling.

Only problem with this hotel is there is no swimming pool! Also one of the lifts of the lifts which apparently meant to fit 5 barely fits 3

Good location and don't rule it out from external

Great location and staff really helpful. Outside view doesn't do it justice, really nice inside quite chic. Bar is nice although they could make more of it and encourage greater atmosphere. Staff at every level couldn't be more helpful.

Hotel couldn't have been in a more convenient place for all our needs. Plenty of restaurants and very close to the bus station in a very pleasant city. Well worth a stay and visit

Everything was perfect. Amazing location. Asked for a quiet room and it really was, had some good sleep. Very spacious, great airco, nice people, we were really happy with our stay!

Great location

Second time staying here as it's so handy for beach, city and transport. Rooms are spacious, only negative is that the carpets have what looks like bleach stains but are clean. The bathrooms have great mirrors for seeing rear view and weirdly they make you look so good too!! Good hairdryer and shower products. Breakfast is very good, always an apple or croissant gratis at reception as well as a welcome drink in bar. We would definitely stay here again if we revisit Palma

Decent hotel in a good spot

Number 1 bus from the airport drops of within yards of the entrance.Arrived 3 hours early the receptionist checked and our room was ready.Room was of a good size with comfortable bed and good air conditioning.Bathroom was clean as were towels etc.Only downside was no plug in the designer sink . From the hotel it is a 2 min walk into town and 20 mins down to the cathedral and harbour. Read some negative reviews and was slightly concerned however these were unfounded. Would recommend and will visit again in the future.

Underwhelming hotel

Took 45 minutes to check in. Staff were hopeless and not willing to help. The room was tired and in need of a renovation - no remote for the TV and lamps that didn't work at all. Hairs in the bed linen. Shower didn't work properly. Would not recommend at all. The hotel was so underwhelming, we left early.

WEIRD..... But Convenient

Almost everyone that leaves a review says it’s “convenient”….. which it is. We paid extra for a Superior Double room with balcony to ensure we had a bit more space…. Which may have been a good idea when you read some of the other reviews….. HOWEVER A lot has been said before…. Small entrance, small lifts etc…. we personally didn’t notice dirty carpets and our room was down a private corridor so we had no internal or external noise….. and our room was HUGE…. But also WEIRD!!! It was on a high floor and ran basically the length of the building…. We had more windows than you can shake a stick at…. And two sets of French doors onto two balconies…. Idyllic you might think… except that the balcony walls were almost 1.2m high and in solid block…. And the balconies less than 1m wide with no seating possible…. So you really only had a viewing platform from which you quickly tire! So…. Back into the corridor…. Sorry room. Aircon – check Dark curtains – check Large Bed – check Comfortable seats….. errr NO! I’m afraid this room seemed to be the dumping ground for any bit of over-designed furniture…. We had one swivel chair in PVC a bit Big Brother-esque…. Then we had a small corner seat facing a table… and option 3 was a large 1.5m square leather pouffe….. more akin to a late ni

Convenient, but slightly jaded.

Handy for the main bus & train station. Not particularly cheap, and the room we had could really do with an update as it was rather "tatty!" Within a reasonable walk of all major focal points such as the cathedral.

Perfect location but that's as good as it gets

Really disappointed with this hotel - despite delightfully polite staff - very small cramped reception - three people at reception and either the stair or the lift access was blocked - simply not good enough for a sixty four bedroom 4 star ( ? ) hotel No beverage facilities in room. Coffee not available during daytime from bar or reception Filthy glasses, disgusting dust and dirt on top of suitcase shelf / wardrobe, key card constantly failing to activate door lock, stained carpets and worse, the bed pillows smelled stale. Wont be coming back to this dump - even if it were offered free avoid avoid avoid

In the heart of the City

Very functional hotel. Close to the train station and ideal for ad day trip to Soller. Didn't spend too much time at the hotel to be fair but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Didn't hear any traffic noise and didn't eat at the hotel as there are many cheaper options nearby. Palma was a beautiful city to explore on foot. I know many got on the hop on hop off bus, but it's not a huge city and is easily navigable. Staff at the hotel are pleasant enough but didn't have much interaction as hotel was chosen due to it's location. Bus no 1 from the airport and back 5 euros and so easy, just get off at place d'espagna, turn right when exiting the bus and the hotel is just over the side road. All in all a good mini beak.

Hotel handy for city!

This hotel sits right beside Palma s main bus/train station so extremely handy for staying in city or for transfers to other parts of Majorca. All staff were exteremely friendly & helpful. We were given a room at the rear of hotel on 5 th floor so was nice & quiet! Bed v comfy with spotless sheets etc. The bathroom too was spotless with the luxury of a big deep bath- handy after a day s walking in city centre. The only thing that let the room down was the carpet which had although clean badly needs replaced as stained. Carpets in hallways same state. We had the coffee/croissant breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice- served to table by a v friendly waitress. Despite carpet would def return to this hotel for it s great location & lovely staff.

April weekend stay

Just here for a weekend over the orange blossom season, and this place is a great location for trains and buses (and tourist office), including to and from the airport. It's on a main road, but we faced in and heard nothing - really quiet. Reception (even after midnight) was friendly and helpful; we didn't breakfast so can't comment on the restaurant facilities, but they looked good. Room was a reasonable size, as was the bathroom, but the shower, whilst powerful, was strictly hand held - no fixed aperture to direct it down. Air con worked well, so all in all, a good find. Would we return? Definitely (though we were using our free stays).

Very Central Hotel

I have stayed in the hotel a number of times and have always found it most satisfactory. The location right next to the bus and train stations makes it an ideal hotel to stay for easy exploration of the island. Everything is also within walking distance with shops and restaurants nearby too. A number one bus takes you from outside the airport right to within a very short distance of the hotel. A one way ticket costs €5. It is no longer possible to buy a return ticket. The atmosphere in the hotel is quiet and rooms have first class soundproofing. The lage beds are very comfortable. There is a breakfast room but the hotel does not do dinner.

Good hotel in good position

The hotel is next door to the train stations and bus interchange these are under the park which is good for a stroll. We parked the car in the underground car park suggested by the hotel OK but not cheap it is in middle of city. We had a larger room which was great but decorated in white. Wifi good but bathroom needed updating. We included breakfast and it is good if you realise that extra hot food can be ordered. The english breakfast is ok here if you order it. Staff good. This is a business hotel reminded us of premier inn.

An ideal place to stay in Palma. No regrets

An excellent and very comfortable hotel that is ideally placed for a stay in Palma away from the harbour. Everything is within easy walking distance. Although not impressive from the outside with only a small entrance, it makes up for it once one is inside the hotel. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The suite room we had was gorgeous with modern stylish furnishings and lovely white and crisp bed linen and towels, and all required toiletries provided. There was even a pillow menu, although for us the standard was ideal. Breakfast is available and is adequate, although slightly limited on choice for those that like hot options, better maybe to have a coffee and pastry outside just across the road, and then indulge later in a lunch. Eating out at night at one of the many excellent and varied restaurants is a must. This is a hotel we would definitely return to, and it is ideal that one is not bothered by noisy children - a real positive. Taxis around town are plentiful and not too expensive if one is feeling lazy, or tired at the end of a long day. Even a taxi to the airport was not overly expensive, less than four times the cost of a single bus ticket. The airport bus does though stop literally a few yards walk away across the road, so one has the choice.
