Over an hour to check in. Reservation messed up. Room smelled, brought it to attention at front desk had to get room spray from front desk. Other issues with incompetent staff. Bedding smelled

There were no dishes, silverware or cookware in the kitchen. I specifically booked the efficiency knowing I'd be in town for 2 weeks, and did not want to eat out the entire time. It did not need to be fully stocked, but something would have been nice. If I had known this was not offered, I would have chosen another hotel. Otherwise it was clean & comfortable, and the staff was friendly.

Great place to stay if you are there for a long period of time or work wise. Very convenient the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Dmar was excellent! He was friendly, happy, helpful and so funny. He made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the front entrance until we left a week later. The room was no frills but very clean, we couldn't hear our neighbbors at all. Lyft service was available so we could go out at night and have fun without worrying about driving. We had a great trip, and having a comfortable safe home base was a huge part of that. Thank you Extended stay and front counter staff Dmar!

Affordable stay with very helpful staff!

Great stay, great place

Hotel is great. Only a couple of issues. Stair cases are dirty. My toilet seat keeps coming loose, bathroom light keeps flickering, and the bathroom fan doesn't always work. But the internet is great. Room is nice, clean, and comfortable. Great stay and id stay again.

Nice extended stay room with mini kitchen. Right next to i35 so convenient to lots of places. Good value with no frills.

Nice exercise room, and the room was quite and cool.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! I moved to Austin and booked for airbnb before my move in day. My airbnb was extremely dirty and I couldn't stay there. So I immediately booked this place to stay in and I felt right at home. It extremely clean, homely, and the environment is safe.The customer service was excellent

Perfect hotel for an extended stay!

Due to some work on my house, I needed to stay at a hotel for more than a week. Uptown Suites turned out to be perfect for me. Having a full size refrigerator/freezer as well as a stove top and microwave and access to a washer/dryer were all extremely convenient amenities for a long stay. The location is also fantastic as its right off the highway; thus, it was quick and easy to get around Round Rock and Pflugerville. Free wi-fi was also helpful as I had to work from the hotel all week. Fortunately, the wi-fi connection was very fast and reliable. Overall, the room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. While housekeeping didn't come every day (which seems to be common during Covid), I was able to get extra towels very easily. In fact, the staff was exceptional. They were always available and addressed all of my questions/concerns satisfactorily and quickly. I really enjoyed my stay at Uptown and would definitely stay there again! The value for the money was outstanding imo. Thanks!

Though I had a confirmed reservation for one week that I had made at 7 p.m., they had no room for me when I arrived at 10 p.m. Having seen nothing but the lobby, I have no further comments about Uptown Suites Austin - Round Rock. My take-away from this experience is that confirmed reservations aren't actually confirmed. Beware!

Lost leader followed through with my payment

I booked a last min deal around 12 am and i read in the conditons that it was 12am expired for free cancelation. I called the hotel immediately. The cust service was closed. I had to search for a local number. On google got another cs number when i called. Searched more online and finally found a direct number to front desk. Gentleman told me it was full and they would not be able to offer a room. All rooms are occupied.

Didn't stay here. Made a reservation online and then when I arrived I was told the reservation was cancelled and there wasn't a clean room for me due to lack of houskeeping staff. I would have appreciated ANY sort of notification before I bundled my babies up to travel across town on icy roads to be able to stay in a place with heat.

Loved the style of the rooms. Very comfortable and clean. Close to the freeway

Everything was great except I didn’t have small nor medium towels and I was told I had to sign a 30 day intent to stay even tho I reserved my room for only 1 night. I went to check in and was I had to sign that 30 day intent to stay to get my room after driving up to Austin. I was asking a lot of questions because I didn’t have to sign that when I stayed the previous weekend’nn

Everything was pretty much ok. Only thing was they did some ac cleaning while I was sleep and that kind of disrupted my sleep after a long night out.

Newer hotel so basically clean. Corners in hallway and elevator needs cleaning.no breakfast nor daily house cleaning but we knew that. Pleasant stay.

It was different with a little kitchen added to the room

We needed a place to spend the night for 4 adults, which can be tricky for those who don't enjoy sharing beds. I booked this room specifically because of the couch shown in the picture, and thank goodness the room was exactly as pictured! All components worked well, and since we were located at the far end of the hallway, there was easy and secure access from that end, so we didn't have to go through the front desk each and every time. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I was charged the exact amount provided through Expedia.

I didn't get to stay. We hadn't checked in yet, and they called during dinner to say they were overbooked and didn't have a room for us. And they blamed it on hotels.com. If I had shown up right at 3:00, would I have had a room? They didn't call until after 6:00 to tell me I didn't have a room.

We had a reservation, however, the hotel decided to just give the room to someone else. When we called on our way to the hotel to check in, they came with an excuse that Expedia was double-booking. I don't believe that for a second. The worst experience we have ever had. We were left without the room and the night was falling. And we could not find another room in the area...horrible.

I like having the full size refrigerator, as well as the cooktop. My stay was mostly quiet (except for the last night). For the price, this suited my needs.

Stole money off my card I barely used the room. I’m going back up there today

This hotel exceeded all expectations. The room is beautiful and relaxing and good for doing work. The amenities such as the gym are some of the best I’ve seen even from “better” chains. The staff is also some of the best hospitality I’ve encountered. I give this property 5+ stars.

For the price, I really shouldn’t complain but because of the high ratings I saw for this new property I feel I should reveal a few things during my 1 week stay. The pros are this place is new, clean, and has nice looking furniture and a mini-kitchen. And it’s quite inexpensive for what it offers. The cons: Internet sucks. This place advertises as having “really fast internet.” I ran a speed test one evening on my phone and got under 2 Mb/s download. So web browsing wasn’t too bad but certain sites did take a while to load. The really annoying part is that they have a semi-Smart TV but because the internet is slow, streaming video would constantly buffer. Not a big deal if you are there for a night and not going to use the tv, but I was there for a week and this was a big letdown. Second, the bed had a white blanket that shed everywhere. On my clothes and all over the room. I could not leave the room without spending a few minutes with a lint roller that I had to buy to get the white lint off my clothes. Third, the bed came with two incredibly small pillows! I’ve never seen pillows so small that weren’t just for decoration. Lastly, I was on the first floor which I requested to make loading/unloading easier. All throughout the week it sounded like someone from above was stomping all over their floor. It was very loud and annoying to hear late at night or early in the morning. For $50/night taxes this place is better than other I’ve stayed at.

So Fresh!! Clean ,nice property!! Austin is just Fabulous what else can I say!!!!!!

Stay away from this chain

Was in town for my neices funeral who committed suicide. I made a mistake with my online reservations and the manager Christina refused to even get on the phone to help me. While Stephanie being her puppet also refused to help. Then, I called corporate, who also refused to help.

Nice room, clean rooms and good reception.
