This hotel had more negatives than positives. The property was in a good location as we planned to visit Benfica stadium. It was a plus with the roof top pool on the 8th floor which was very warm and not deep. There was also a grocery supermarket opposite so we could buy food, drinks and snacks for the stay. However, the room was not fit for a hotel stay. The TV isn't updated to allow you to watch Netflix or even screen share with iPhone. The bathroom had no place to put your toiletries when you wanted to use them. The bed had no matress topper and was sinking when we got in. The walls are so thin we hear other hotel stayers sneezing and running and moving furniture. It was definitely not worth the stay. A day before, we stayed in a hotel in Rossio and that room had it all and it was only 3 stars. Didn't enjoy the stay and just wanted to go back home.

Visited with family, including 2 teenagers who love football. It's a short transfer from the airport - around €10 in a standard taxi. There's a fab supermarket across the road and the biggest hypermarket I've ever seen is over at Colombo Mall. We used Alto dos Moinhos tube to get around the city - although Google Maps always suggested one that was farther away. The hotel staff were all lovely, going out of their way to be helpful and friendly. We were in a 2 bed apartment, with a fantastic view, great living space and 2 bathrooms. Great AC. We loved the pool and all of the communal spaces. Meals were lovely, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Location

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and suitable for a family with small children. The staff was friendly and very accommodating which we appreciated…made us feel welcomed! However I was disappointed with the game room and the gym which had several broken machines

It is important for housekeeping to replace small bars of soap daily, but they did not. Since there is a washing machine in the hotel, there should be access to detergent provided for individuals who are staying at the location. In addition, the hotel to provide a weekly list of things to do in nearby areas. Service in the restaurant was slow.

This hotel has beautiful suites, friendly customer service, delicious food options, and a beautiful pool. I would have rated this a 10 minus the beds and pillows. For the rating and price booked I expect a good nights sleep.

Property is good. One of the bathroom was very small and leaking water outside from standing shower all the time. Stove and Washer not working on first day.

Great apartment with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Loved the rooftop pool. All staff were friendly and provided excellent service.

Studio was small but had pretty much everything we needed. Shower was very tight, and I'm a small person. Pillows were poor but bed was comfortable. Grocery store directly across the street. Great if you're going to the stadium across the street

This was a terrific property with lots of amenities in the room. Wished there had been face cloths in the bathroom. Proximity to the airport was most important to us as we had a 7:00 am flight. It was a 15 min cab ride. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful home base for our stay in Lisbon. Right next to a stadium and a grocery store as well as walkable to the metro. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. Special little touches made us feel great, and they were able to give us breakfast to make up for the pool being closed due to the storms that wrecked the pool covering, not their fault at all but they did what they could to make us happy! Breakfast was great too!

The property is great. However, I wish they would have more variety of food rotated each day for the breakfast buffet. We also experience some issues with hot water at the shower.

The staff are brilliant and the room was thoroughly cleaned every day. Saw a couple of negative reviews and can’t understand why. The room size and facilities were good. The bathroom washbasin stand was a bit tired but if you want value for money and nice friendly helpful staff this is the place.

Excellent staff and customer service for Hotel and Restaurant Hard mattress in first room we stayed in but staff quickly remedied the situation by changing rooms for us at an upgrade. No facecloths

Excellent stay. All staff from the cleaners to receptionists were very helpful and welcoming. The hotel has great amenities. It was a shame that the pool was not open when we stayed as it would have been nice to have been swimming but I would absolutely stay again

Room insulaton is not good.

The insulation is too bad for a four star hotel. I could hear people talk and baby cry in the room below me while I sleep. Others are pretty good.

The location was good not to noisy or busy. Didn't realise it was right next to Benfica stadium and there were a couple of matches on while we were there. Bathroom was knackered, sink area needs replacing as water damaged over a long period of time. One dishwasher tab provided and a tea towel. No oven gloves or and other kitchen cleaning stuff. Everything else worked. Bed was like marble slab and pillows were very small. I personally didn't well during our stay. Overall not a bad hotel but could be improved with some minor improvement or refresh.

Football weekend in Lisbon

Amazing apartment. Large living room with well equipped kitchen area. Bedroom large and comfy beds. Apartment had a great view of the Estadio de Luz.

Comfortable and friendly hotel

Friendly and fast check-in. Room very comfortable, pastéis de nata and chocolates on tray. (Plus bottle of wine for VIP Access property.) Free snacks and drink in reception. A couple of niggles, all sorted very quickly by contacting reception - no instructions for operating combined oven/microwave; bathroom fan, although switched off, came on when we got back at night and we couldn't stop it; touch panel next to entry door was not mentioned, not sure what the uses were; no bathrobes, but these could be requested free of charge; a j-cloth would have been useful to wipe the sink. I emailed after I returned home and had a lovely reply thanking me for my comments and suggestions. Location was great - 3 minutes from Benfica stadium, and about 10 minutes to an excellent shopping centre and another 5 minutes to the Hospital da Luz. A very positive experience akin to an aparthotel, and would definitely return.

We loved our stay at Upon Lisbon! The hotel is perfectly located next to the Benfica stadium which makes it very easy if you are attending a game. The hotel is a little farther from the city, so if you want a more central hotel don’t choose this one. Overall, I really loved the hotel and would stay again!

Generally good

The front desk staff are very warm and helpful. This location is not in town and not walkable but Uber helps. There are only stairs to the lift so if you have large suitcases like I did it takes some effort. Unfortunately the rooftop pool was closed during my stay.

Wonderful hotel outside of downtown Lisbon! We wanted to stay somewhere between Sintra, downtown, and the airport and this was the perfect spot. Although, the non-refundable policy is quite annoying, and we ended up paying for 2 nights, but only needing 1, the hotel was safe, clean, and the staff were very friendly. Since we paid for 2 nights, they ended up upgrading us as well :) With a packed schedule, I'm so sad we missed going to the pool, but will come back again!

The staff was great and the rooms were perfect for families or big groups. It did not take long to get to major attractions and in to the airport very quickly.

Staff were outstanding! Restaurant was very good! All in all, we would highly recommend. Only suggestion would be better pillows and towels.

Perfect for Lisbon

Really nice place to stay. studio was comfortable and has the amenities needed. I was also able to borrow an umbrella for a day. Also they have a really nice restaurant downstairs. Additionally a supermarket just opposite to the hotel, so perfect. The nearest metro station is only 9 min walk. So overall highly recommend.

Quiet location. Bed was firm. Hotel wasn’t close to the metro or the train station. Wasn’t a good location for us

Absolutely amazing hotel. We came here for our 10 year anniversary. The staff were incredible. So friendly and attentive. The apartments were so well equipped. They even have dishwashers! Our first room had a faulty shower and they had moved us to an even better room in less than 5minutes! Could not recommend Upon Lisbon more.

It was great to have dishes etc and to be able to cook if you liked . Two minutes from a grocery store and 10 minutes to the mall . This was the end of our trip so it was nice to just relax and enjoy the pool etc . Pool could use some repairs but other wise fine. We were happy with our late checkout.

The service at the desk and at the pool was great. However our one bedroom flat could go with some updates. In particular the pool area needs redoing for a 4 ✮⋆˙ hotel. Also a general upgrade on technology would be good, most hotels today have USB and other charging ports to charge multiple devices etc. the location was good though and generally we had a good stay. A few simple updates could go far in upgrading it.

This is a clean and welcoming hotel.The bedroom has no balcony and a view of another hotel.The bed is a double very comfortable with blankets.The bathroom has a shower,water is a good temperature 24/7. Theres not much around the hotel just the football stadium. The tour is well worth doing You can easily get taxis and there's a train station nearby The hotel pool is beautifully kept.clean.Lovely and warm.. All in all this a great hotel and i thoroughly recommend it if you dont mind using the train to get around.

Very welcoming and very thoughtful staff, very grateful for all the assistance they provided my family during our stay. We had a blast and really felt like home away from home. Great location, food was great, swimming pool on the roof with great cocktails, supermarket close by and we could walk to shopping center close by and other local restaurants.

Nosey! The upstairs guests watched TV until 3 a.m. And then a child began to cry. The hotel does not have any sound-proof walls or floors. Furthermore, one night, a guest opened our door using a key. The front desk made mistakes. It was extremely scary while our family was sleeping.

Breakfast is tasty and has good variety. Loved the pool. It is decent size, water was warm, aand it has a shelter so that you can swim in all weather condition. This stay was a fantastic experience!! My sister and I booked a one bedroom but they were able to upgrade us for free to a 2 bedroom with stadium view and it was amazing! Also the staff was super helpful and friendly. Will stay here again for sure

Très bel hôtel et surtout très confortable. Un peu excentré du centre de Lisbonne mais bouche de Métro à quelques minutes de marche qui fait oublier qu’on ait un peu loin du centre historique. Point fort, épicerie Pingo Doce juste à l’avant de l’établissement.

Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the female evening receptionist who spoke excellent English. hotel was modern and all you required for a pleasant stay. Apartment was clean modern and well equipped if you wanted to self-cater.Would definitely stay again.

The best place to stay in Lisbon- service was extraordinary!!

Wonderful staff and a beautiful unit. The pool is outstanding and the restaurant serves delicious food. There are several conveniently located restaurants and a large grocery across the street. It is a bit of a walk to the nearest metro station, but from there it is a quick trip downtown.

I really like top service, cleanliness, comfort is always my first choice
