The staff was outstanding. The location was amazing with many dining options. The apt was roomy, clean and very comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great large space in the city. Comfortable, quiet. Easy to walk to grocery store and restaurants. Nice to be able to do laundry, but wish there had been information on how to use the machine. The staff were very nice.

We stayed here for the third time, will not consider any other option if this one is available.

The apartment was very luxurious. It was able to accomodate all six adults without any trouble. It had a beautifal deck area. We had recently lost are mother and would be arriving on her 99th birthday, when i told them and i asked them if they could prepare a fruit and cheese platter and some wine of couse to toast are mothers 99th. They went above and beyond for this!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Loved it! I wish I could stay longer, clean and nice, everyone was helpful and kind, got a wine bottle as a vip amenity also the staff help me book a taxi ride from the airport to the hotel. Excellent service, I will stay there next time I’m in Barcelona. The shower is amazing, bed comfortable, good WiFi.

The hotel is in a prime location that allows you to walk around to numerous eateries, shopping plazas, and local shops. It was quiet for the most part, but be aware that the walls are a bit thin. If there are people living on the floor above you, you can hear them talking and walking around. The apartment suite was spacious and had a decent kitchen for heating up food. The sleeper sofa was a bit creaky and stiff. The hotel’s description states it has a combo washer/dryer, but the apartment suite we stayed at only had a washer which made it challenging to try to dry clothes efficiently and in a timely manner without having to seek alternatives whether it’s leveraging a laundry service or just manually drying it on a rack overnight. Overall, an ok short-term stay.

I like the area centrally located to some of the major sites staff was vey accommodating to request and provided a lot of helpful tips on getting around would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable stay in a good location. We liked being slightly away from the busiest tourist areas of the city but still with easy walking access to everything we wanted. Loved the amenities (full kitchen, washer, etc) and the housekeeping staff were excellent. Would stay again if we’re ever back in Barcelona.

Nice and clean hotel!

Wow! It was a beautiful apartment style room with a separate bedroom, large living room and full kitchen. It had a microwave, full fridge, all cutlery, glasses, stove top, pots and pans and a dishwasher. It was all updated and modern. The bedding was down pillows and luxurious sheets and we were truly presently surprised. It has a reception but more like a property managers office so we were a little thrown at first. The maid service was great, daily. It even had a shower massage. The metro was 3 blocks away and there were plenty of restaurants, and even a Mercado grocery store (yummy paella and a block or so away), which was really large. A great stay!!! We stayed for 3 nights, no car, in October 2024.

Upsuites excellent

Excellent hotel with easy access to central Barcelona. Service was excellent-Beatrice excelled at reservations.

Our stay at Up Suites was fine. The room was clean and satisfactory. My only issue was that when we arrived it was difficult figuring out how to enter the building to register. Luckily, a couple came out of the building after my husband and i had been standing there for several minutes trying to figure out how to access the building and they allowed us to enter. The attendee was very accommodating by using a map to show us the things we can explore until our room was ready. I was hoping to stay close to downtown, but we made this work. It was really easy to hail a taxi outside of the building.

Excellent services from the staff. The property was great. The only suggestion is to provide espresso capsules since they do provide the machine.

Great facility, friendly staff, good location

Had a great experience at this hotel. Place is nice and clean and spacious for our family of 4, 2 adults 2 kids. Was a easy taxi ride or 20- minutes walk to most tourist attractions. We landed at 2:00 am and the hotel neighborhood seemed safe even at that time. There are a few dinning options near by as well. Overall would recommend this hotel for a good Barcelona tourism.

Great hotel and great staff. Checkin was easy. Staff is super helpful with recommendations. He even scheduled a taxi ahead of time for me so I wouldn’t miss my flight early morning. Room was very spacious and clean.

Fairly reasonably priced accommodation close to old part of the town. All within walking distance or metro. Very easy to find restaurants to eat and Mercata del Ninot is right nearby. Studio with kitchen should have cutting board and paper towel so that it's easier to prepare a quick meal.

Excellent in every way! Suite was gorgeous, super clean, spacious, and in an excellent location. My only quibble was the shower head spray although pressure was good. I would highly recommend and will be back.

Staff was friendly and the flat was very clean and comfortable. The taxi arranged through the hotel charged us an extra 10€ which was not a nice way to finish our stay however.

Very nice efficiency apartment with everything you’d need for staying a few days in Barcelona. The washer /dryer is a single unit however. The only thing would be a staff who has longer hours should tourists need help.

Mattress was pretty hard. Although some may like that, I found it too firm. It would have been nice to have washer/dryer working instructions.

The front desk staff was very kind and helpful with all requests. The room was good for a weeklong stay and had everything we needed, including a washing machine.

Everything pretty great apart from the fact we could not sleep a wink as the beds were so uncomfortable. Cheap, thin, spring mattresses. First night no sleep at all for any of us. Spilt the day. We were overtired second night but still struggled. Most uncomfortable stay ever. Disappointing as the rest was up to standard

Family friendly, good amenities and location

This is already our second time here as a family, and we will probably come back again if visiting Barcelona. The apartment is spacious, quiet, and very well equipped (dishwasher, oven, laundry machine, nespresso machine, etc.), location is quite central (quite close to public transportation and pleasant to walk in the evening), lots of grocery stores/supermarkets/pharmacies nearby.

Our family of four stayed here for two nights and it was perfect. The room was large, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. The air con was amazing, good wifi and that staff is so helpful. There’s daily cleaning and the cleaning staff were so nice. And the best part was the kitchenette. The location is a little further away - about 15 mins walk to Plaza Catalunya, but totally walkable. I would highly recommend staying here

Excellent value

From arrival to departure was excellent. Daily cleaning, fresh towels and loo-rolls, replenished toiletries when asked, etc Fernando was excellent, and all the other members of staff and the cleaning lady. Location is excellent. Cannot complain Satellite TV would have been great to catch up on daily news events, but we did watch sky news on the smart phone. Wifi was very fast. Quiet neighbourhood. One of the best apartments we have ever stayed in. Will stay there again and will highly recommend

Will consider other options next trip to Barcelona. Well located but the property doesn’t stand out for cleanliness. The room had a musty smell, we claimed but it wasn’t solved by the management. Overall, I would rate it medium/low.

We stayed in the family apartment for 3 nights. It is well decorated, well equipped. The upstairs bedrooms overlook the courtyard, so were extremely quiet. Customer service was beyond excellent - exceeded our expectations in many ways. There are lots of little markets and good restaurants within a 1-2 block walk. The only negative is that the apartment has a washer and no dryer. Another family member stayed in a studio which had both.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It’s in a good location - about 15 minute walk from la ramblas but it has a lot of local bars and restaurants in close vicinity. Zohaib was very helpful letting us check in early and nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly stay again.

Loved it. Quiet. Convenient. We love to cook so the fully stocked kitchen was perfect for us!!

We were able to check in early due to the apartment was available. If not they would store our luggage until we could get in. They were helpful to give us a map of the city and show us where things were of our interests for the day. The location is near local markets and a large grocery store/produce market is just a block away to the left and around the corner. Restaurants all round within a 3 block radius to choose from (LA Capricciosa was a great Italian restaurant in the area-make a right out of apt. to next block turn right and go about 2 1/2 blocks on the right. There are 2 of them on the same block.). . The manager arranged for a taxi to come in the morning. This was helpful due to the language barrier. We even got an English speaking driver who came at the appointed time. We stayed only one evening and barely used all of the facilities options. A longer stay would have a better use of all the things this facility has to offer (ie kitchen and patio). We were impressed of all this facility had to offer.

This 2 story apartment was bigger than we thought, which was nice. We had a nice big terrace patio and access to sunny terrace on the roof. Had all the amenities we could want (except coffee pods for the maker) but luckily we bought some so it was good. The man who checked us in was efficient and friendly. Nice place, good location, but not the best location. I prefer to be closer to the Arc de Triomf to walk around.

The apartment was gigantic for a group of 3. The two bedrooms are located upstairs and there's a huge courtyard outside the living room on the first floor. The only downside is the floor slab is pretty thin so we can hear people above and next door.

Fabulous place to stay

Excellent place to stay. Very helpful staff and good area for restaurant too. We definitely recommend the place for everyone.

You could hear room noises from those above you, no carpeting on floor or rugs and it could be loud. Kitchen was nice with big refrigerator. Wash machine worked but dryer was integrated in the same machine. Didn't dry well and had to hang up clothes to finish drying. Need full size ironing board, they just had small table top one which is difficult to use. Location was okay, easy to get around if you use the metro and walking to center city was 20-25 minutes. Okay if weather is good.

We stayed in September 2019 and the property was nice and clean. Very spacious, our room had a small balcony over looking the street. The room looked just like the pictures. The check in and out was easy and very friendly and helpful. They helped us having to call France. I would recommend and stay here again for sure!

The apartment suited all our needs. The convenience of the fully equipped Kitchen and washing machine was great. We loved being able to relax on the 6th floor terrace with chaise lounges after a busy day of sightseeing. The daily house keeping was nice and the availability of the front desk staff, Asif and Fernando was so helpful, providing us with information about sites to see and how to get around Barcelona.They even booked us a night at the Flamenco Dinner Show, which we enjoyed very much. The apartment was a 10 minute walk from downtown which was great for us as it was just far enough away from the noise of downtown. The total black electric blind helped us really sleep when we needed rest. I would highly recommend UP Suites BCN for anyone visiting Barcelona. The Storeys from Canada

Property was great - like a fully furnished one bedroom apartment. People were great - very helpful - I highly recommend.

The receptionist could of been more helpful eg. transportation, restaurants around the area, etc. The washroom had hair in the sink when we first arrived. Not something you want to see when entering the apartment for the first time.

It is great. The location is handy to everything. Well stocked kitchen. The only thing missing are tissues.

Nice place to say in Barcelona. Neighborhood has lots of areas to eat. Close to all transportation. Room was comfortable for the family. Room was cleaned everyday. We enjoyed our stay since we were in the room to sleep and eat at times. We would stay again. See photos.

Economical but well appointed apartment-like hotel

Excellent choice. Spacious with nice amenities (eg, laundry, full kitchen). Room could use blackout curtains. Area is nice but somewhat removed from tourist spots. Beware that reception closes between 2 and 4 pm, so no check-in during that time except by prior arrangement. Staff was nice and graciously held our bags for us after check-out so we could explore before heading to our destination.

Fabulous location, great front desk assistant, clean, well appointed and lift. No wake up call is only minus. Overall a great place.

Excellent hotel for families

Excellent location un à résidential Area but close to everything. Receptionist very helpful gave us lot of information. A lot of little restaurants near and cheaper prices than near the Rambla. Apartment was spacious and confortable beds and pillows. Washing / dryer machine was a must.

Staff went out of their way to help us and make our stay completely enjoyable.

Room was great, exactly what I viewed online. Check in/ Check out was super easy!

The receptionist in particular was very helpful. Decoration was sparse, but everything was spotless.

The room needs to be finished. It is missing, coffee, paper towel, shower gel, minimum of amenities. The room view is horrible. The neighborhood dog barks a lot. Very noise. No place to hange the towels. Shower is not goid. Please change ASAP.

Disappointed about the fact that when I spoke to the hotel the scheduled day of my arrival and told them that my plans had changed and that I would be arriving a day later and only staying one night instead of two; I was told that this would not be a problem. However, when I arrived, I was forced to pay for two nights instead of the one that I was staying for. When I protested, the person at the desk who checked us in said that he would speak with the manager about charging for only the one night that we stayed, but nothing was done.This was a terrible experience!

Total jerks! I cancelled my reservation a year ago, and they had no communication with me before sending me a confirmation the day I was scheduled to travel and then billing me for my full stay. When I pushed back, there seemed to be a disconnect between cancelling with hotel versus Expedia. Either way, I got screwed!! The property was nasty and unsympathetic and paying out almost $400 on the beginning of my trip but a horrible taste in my mouth and a dent in my resources set aside for my trip. BUYER BE WARE

One bathroom work out of 3..broken windows..flooding and a stink from downstair bathroom! Tv doesn't work. No receptionist after 9pm. Room are pretty beat out and dirty. Would not recommend it.

Located in a noisy area. I could not rest and sleep as expected. Other than that, the room was large with plenty of comfort. The staff meet our expectations.

We had a great stay at Up Suites Bcn! Check-in was friendly and very informative about the area and attractions in Barcelona. Our room was immaculate and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, nicely appointed sitting area and spacious bedroom and private bath. There was a local supermarket one block away to buy groceries. It is walking distance to Las Ramblas, the train station, and many of the popular attractions. The taxi from the airport and then to the cruise port was about 30.00 euros each way. It was nice to do some laundry in the washing machine (a combination washer/dryer) but we needed to hang the wet clothing up overnight as it didn't dry well in the dryer. Overall we had an excellent stay and would definitely go again!

This was an excellent choice for us. It is in a non touristy very nice safe area. We enjoyed walking around the area. Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. /The one bedroom apartment was roomy and gave us plenty of space, much nice than a hotel room. There is an elevator or you can do the stairs. No real lobby to speak of but we didn't need it. Will definitely stay again when go to Barcelona. Oh and great price also.

Very roomy apartment and very comfortable beds and sofa bed. Well laid out kitchen with all the appliances and amenities we needed. Dryer in addition to a washer is rare and much appreciated.
