Recommend
Nice hotel, good location, excellent team
While the room is modern and very nice, the hallways and room are stifling hot, seriously comparable to a sauna with no windows open at all. Once we got the air-conditioning going it cooled down a bit, but even the drinks in the fridge weren't cold after 24 hours. Breakfast was good but the staff overseeing it weren't friendly. The staff at the front desk were.
A very small nice hotel. An excellent location, The staff very friendly and helpful, especially Karmina. The hotel is clean nice rooms.Certainly we’ll visit it again.
The people who work the desk are fantastic and a main reason to come here. They will treat you so well. Special thanks to them! Also the people working the breakfast were fantastic. Super good breakfast.
Kinda ok
The breakfast is good The front desk is good but shower is too small and room also
The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood that is walkable to many tourist sites (1 - 2 miles) or reachable by Bolt. A metro and bus stops are a six-minute walk at Piata Roma. The staff was very efficient and the breakfast staff were accommodating when we had to have an early breakfast at 6 AM to make an excursion. The courtyard off the dining room is pleasant. For some reason the room was cleaned only once for a 3-night stay. No washcloth is provided.
Dirty underwear
Terrible experience, I had left over dirty underwear and socks in my closet . Apparently someone forgot to check the closet when they were cleaning . Was offered a free night if I paid for another one . Literary not good Managment or room service .
The hotel it's very clean The staff are very nice. I would recommend this place
I did like this hotel a lot, Service ,meals and reception - all of them - top of the line. I will come back again. Keep up the good work.
The room (junior suite) was a good size with comfortable bed, really clean and had a/c! Make sure to have exact change the hotel doesn’t have any...otherwise great location to local food...longer walk to Old Town...
Not bad
The hotel is nice. Not bad area . close to amain street yet quiet The hotel is very clean but old. I think 4 stars hotel should look new. There is no view from the windows. The reciption is very polit and helpful always smiling . I met three of them and they all was lovely. The brekfast is very good. Ther was no separated bed although I asked for. there is parking in the street
A nice hotel for a short stay, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Thank you.
Great breakfast and friendly staff Very nice room About a 25 minute walk to Old Town
Very nice place. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. It is a small hotel with a personal touch.
We are very happy with our hotel choice. Hotel Unique staff and service have been excellent. The property is clean and well maintained, breakfast is great and location is ideal for shopping, restaurants and city tours. We thank the staff at reception for their outstanding service and will be back.
The best of this hotel is the staff, they are so nice ,make you feel like at home.
Important places to visit within walking distance. Close to public transportation. Nice breakfast buffet. You can take public bus from and to the airport.
Be careful with unique hotel, Bucharest Romania.
When we booked from hotels.com unique hotel free parking free breakfast and free wifi. Totally not free parking, they charged 10 euro pay cash parking fee and city tax fee, they said said they will calling romanian police if we're not give them that money. we booked/paid 2 rooms, 1 room for 1 adult 2 children and 1 room for 1 adult 1 child they keep asking for pay another 25 euro for extra bed hidden fee without let hotels.com know. Please be careful before you make reservation with this unique hotel, be careful with surprise fee or hidden fee without notice. Also I'm missing some little stuff like perfume, T-shirt , please be careful everyone.
very nice small hotel, easy to get public transportation, excellent breakfast
Terrible services
When we found there is no curtain in the room, we reported to the reception immediately. Three hours later, we were told they could not contact their manager (??) and they can do nothing. This is the only time we stay in a hotel room without curtain. Although it has been installed next day, we did not got an apology from the hotel (even any explanation). very disappointed.
This is my third stay here at Unique and every time, they just get better. They have upgraded their bathroom facilities and it is just beautiful. The staff is super friendly as always and speak English. The staff goes above and beyond to satisfy your needs. In truth, I don't even consider any other hotels when I come to Bucharest. The hotel is located off the main street in a quiet area which is definitely important for sleep. There isn't much in the way of parking, but then, most of Bucharest has no parking. So I can't really say it's a negative. I didn't have a car so this didn't affect me. But I at least wanted to mention this just in case you will be renting car in Bucharest. They have breakfast in a small dining area, with an outside option too. Location is great as well. Walking distance to lots of interesting things. I can EASILY recommend Hotel Unique. Make this your first choice when you are coming to Bucharest, you'll be glad you did. I know Unique will always be my top hotel for all my future stays in Bucharest.
I liked everything an I was very impressed by Ionutz and his handling of our requests. I will definitely be beak. THANK YOU, IONUTZ MY FRIEND!
Not 4*
Not 4* only 3* at best room very small breakfast not good enough expensive for what you get do not recce mend you stay hehealthy better places about for less money staff ok but also room for improvement.
Hotel was close to Romania Square/Circle so it was easy for transportation....hop on/hop off bus, etc. The room was really comfortable, except the only electric outlet was near the door and that made it challenging to use a hair curling iron in front of a mirror. The tv is a smart tv....wonderful! Breakfast is fine...perfect timing and the folks at the hotel arranged a taxi to the airport for my exit....but it was a black Mercedes with a driver in a suit! I was treated as a royal!
well located
excelent, well located, good service..........................................................................
Nice.
Nice hotel; clean; needs a list of TV channels, more in English
Very helpful staff and nice breakfast Room far too hot Shower very tricky to operate
Lovely small hotel
Great location 15 minutes walk to some of the key sites. Lovely spacious rooms, good wifi, the smart phone in the room was really useful for finding information. Nice breakfast, helpful staff.
Ok hotel
Pleasant hotel, clean and tidy and a lovely bathroom and powerful shower. I couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work and the local area doesn't offer much.
Only great service and food...
but unfortunately the room was nothing worthy of a 4* hotel, shower leaking onto the bathroom's floor, couldn't lock the window and the shower heads were only working at 50 percent capacity. Obviously no investment into the building's maintenance!
Practical and efficient. Staff was a bit short, but still managed everything. Well positioned, near piaza romana.
Reserve parking
A very nice hotel but if you are driving reserve parking at front of hotel ( room for 2 cars) because it would be difficult to get a space on the street and I wouldn't want to leave my car there it would get bumped. Room was good and a nice shower, the bed was a bit hard. The men on reception were both very polite and helpful. To boil water for tea you have to find a socket because the lead doesn't reach. The breakfast was good lots of choice. There is a bar near the hotel called happy bar its got a massive choice of beers and good music.
Great breakfast, great place to stay
Breakfast was excellent and Ionut very helpful. Nice decor and convenient to embassy area
Small and cozy Hotel next to Piata Romana
I reached the hotel at 8:30 am they informed me that i can't check into my room before 2 pm only to be called later and informed that unfortunately a water pipe broke in my room (classic excuse when overbooked) . They booked for me a room at Venezia Hotel for 1 night and told me my room will be ready the following day. My experience at Venezia hotel was not pleasant since the executive room that they booked for me was dirty and smelly and the hotel was located in a shady area of Bucharest. The following day I checked in at hotel Unique at 11:30 am everything went smoothly and the room was clean and spacious. I spent 2 nights at this hotel instead of the 3 that I booked. I had to remind them about my Expedia reservation benefits since they didn't tell me anything about them (1 free transfer to the airport and 10% discount in a nearby restaurant)
a little out of the way but close enough to sights
very welcoming staff try to accommodate everything you want over all very nice place to stay
lovely hotel with friendly staff
Really nice hotel in a good location, staff were very welcoming and friendly would not hesitate to recommend to a friend
Good hotel
On arrival they had some water issues, although the reception handled this perfectly and we were put in a nearby hotel while the issue was resolved the next morning. I've been going to this hotel for a few years. It's a nice hotel which offers free breakfast and is well situated in central Bucharest. The rooms are clean, spacious and provide all you need for your stay in Bucharest. They're also air conditioned which is great. Reception staff are also great for giving tips on where to stay while you're there. The only downside is that some parts are getting a little tired, the showers could do with replacing, they're also quite confusing to work. The carpets in the rooms are a little stained and could be replaced or replaced with a hard flooring resistant to staining. Although these are both minor complaints.
a nice hotel
room is clean. warm and helpful staff. convenient location
Bucharest! ✌
Very friendly staff that will assist you in enjoying your stay and making the most of it.
Very nice hotel near Piața Romană
This was my second stay at this hotel; same friendly and helpful reception staff.
Excellent value
Located in a quiet street in the city, only steps away from Piata Romana, with kind staff and clean and comfortable rooms, this hotel always delivers what it promises.
More than I expected and well worth the price. All reception staff were welcoming and accommodating. The morning breakfast was exceptionally filling with a vast assortment of great tasting food. This hotel is definitely unique!
Great hotel staff!
The hotel staff are very friendly. Great location near the center of bucharest with a street full of shops nearby. An amazing hotel overall for its cost.
good location

clean and small hotel
We made online reservation and received confirmation , but when we arrived at the hotel a few hours later we were told that a room available and they sent us an email about it. After a conversation with the manager confirmed to us the room . It was an unpleasant situation at all . The hotel is very small . 15 rooms . In terms of cleanliness very clean . Breakfast reasonable and adequate . The room has no air-conditioning but the visitors control. He turns on only if outside temperature is above 25 degrees . In terms of location , walk 10 minutes to the nearest Metro . There are two nearby small kiosks , cafe / restaurant and bar .
Very nice and clean hotel, the staff are very helping. We had a wonderful time there
Very unique hotel
Very niece hotel, the stuff was very nice and helping
Good location
Stay for one night, good value for money (70 CAD), 5 min walk to Pta Romana. Good breakfast, fiendly staff. Parking was awarded but questionable on a busy street.
Reception disaster
The Unique Hotel had no room for me upon arrival. Arriving one day late due to changes in my previous trip, I found my reservation cancelled, although I had spoken to the reception 2 days before and confirmed my arrival with a delay. I had already paid in full AND confirmed - yet that night at 8 PM I was told they'd filed me away as a no-show! There was an awkward conversation with the receptionist (no hint of an apology). Eventually the hotel management proposed to transfer me to another 4-star hotel and paid for the short cab ride. So I ended up staying at the Ambassador, a centrally located and well-run but very, very different hotel. I had a small room overlooking the noisy grand boulevard, with a single bed! PS I had to include scores because the format requires them - in truth I have not seen the hotel's amenities at all. They may be fine, if you can get your room!
Not quite Unique !!
Our GPS struggled to get us there but on arrival ,parking at the front door, 24hr security and a funky little hotel, friendly & helpful staff plus a great breakfast. The room/bathroom were on the small side but a good choice & neat/clean.
I enjoyed!
The hotel was very reasonable and staffs were great!
Hidden Gem
This is a lovely little hotel, hidden away between Romana and Victory Squares in the old city. My room was extremely comfortable, breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The street is a quiet one, unlike many of the other hotels in the area which are on major thoroughfares, yet access to most of the city is easy: two metro stops are in easy walking distance, the larger boulevards are minutes on foot, and the train station is a 15 lei taxi ride or quick metro ride. A number of good places for food and drink are close by, so dining out is easy and rewarding. Unique seems to be taking aim at the five-star market; given what the hotel offers it is an excellent alternative to the bigger, more expensive hotels in the area. I have a new favorite place in Bucharest to stay.
Nice hotel, friendly staff, not far from Old Town
Cosy little hotel with friendly staff and good service. It was not directly located at the "Old Town", but taxi ride was just a few minutes and very cheap. Tram was only to stations from "Old Town" if you considered that as "downtown". Adjacent to the hotel were other attractions. Depending on what your are looking for. The hotel was the best prize with nice staff. Would always book it again.
Modern hotel in quiet neighbourhood
We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were lovely and friendly. Our room was spacious enough, but the bathroom was in need of an update - standard did not match the room. Bed was big and very comfortable. Located within 5 mins of a central metro station so very convenient.
Nice surprise in Bucharest
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Although small (has only 15 rooms), it had all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed the fact that it was small, because it was very quiet. It is located close to Piata Romana where we had good access to public transportation and a large variety of food establishments. The staff was friendly and very accommodating and very helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed linens and towels were changed daily and were of very good quality cotton. The hotel is new and it is luminous and bright. My kid enjoyed the tropical fish aquariums in the lobby. This is by far one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in.
Very nice, small hotel close to Bucharest's Old Town. The rooms are clean and the reception staff is very friendly and helpful.
Good location for tourists and very friendly.
Very friendly hotel - actually quite a good central location and you can get the open top bus (24 hour ticket) to get to pretty much every site - the stop is just at the end of the street. Breakfast adequate, although could do with bacon! Interesting shower appliances!
Got a free upgrade to a suite on check-in. All staff were always very friendly and eager to help wherever they could. Would definitely stay here again
Excellent location for the price
Great room, nice staff and buffet. However, in the first and second nights, there was someone who smoked a lot in the room next to us and it was a non smoking level. The staff told us that there is nothing to do about that, so we opened the windows in our room... There is still construction right behind the hotel and it make a lot of noise. You must wake up at 7:00 AM. Dont take the tour to the castles with the hotel (in any case), you can buy it with the info that you found in TripAdvisor (there is a good company who do that for 69 euros). Dont take the taxi to go to the airport (too expensive,), take the bus number 783 (8 lei for 2 persons - 40 minutes).
Small hotel with great staff in handy location for bus and metro
Excellent Valued Boutique Hotel/Outstanding Staff
4 star plus boutique hotel in the university area. Excellent value. I will stay there again. The staff was outstanding and very accommodating.
Bucharest trip
It was a small hotel but nice and comfortable and walk distance away from shops.
Great hotel,friendly reception,good service
Bucharest was great value for money, food ,drink and historical attractions were all affordable and all provided great service.A thoroughly enjoyable experience all round. This hotel was great, the reception was friendly and helpful, breakfast was served till mid morning. The rooms were modern ,light and comfortable
A pleasant surprise and a local flavour.
I chose this hotel because it was close to where I was working for a week. I also prefer to use independent hotels rather than chains, which can be very bland. I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It is quite small (about 20 rooms or so), so doesn't have all the facilities that a larger hotel would have, but that is fine with me. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. The room was clean and tidy, and comfortable. Free wifi and breakfast included. I would happily stay here again on my next trip.
Great location
Cozy, clean great location in the heart of Bucharest. Courteous & accommodating staff.
Too much noise...
I've stayed in this hotel before, but the noise was just too much to take on this occasion. The construction of the walls is thin: you can hear every conversation. Sadly, I will not return in the future.
Another great stay at Hotel Unique
I've stayed here before and received the usual great service. They have since remodeled and the bathrooms are MUCH better than my previous stay. Staff was friendly and helpfull, and speak perfect English. The manager Andreea, recognized me from my previous stay and was gracious enough to give me a complimentary bottle of wine and a basket of fruit. What makes this hotel great is that it is located away from the busy and noisy streets of the Piata Romana area. There are good restaurants close by, the metro is close and it's easy to get a taxi. There is not much room for parking, but in Bucharest, there is not parking anywhere. But don't let that deter you from staying at this wonderful hotel. This hotel uses hard wood floors. MUCH better than carpet since it is much cleaner this way. Rooms are clean and neat. The breakfast is standard fair of cereal, fruit, milk, some cold cut meats, coffee and tea. The bathroom has the standard anemities, but also has a toothbrush and a small tube of tooth paste, so that was nice. Unique is my first choice whenever I come to Bucharest. I've stayed at others, but Unique is my favortie!
Very nice little hotel
I have slept 4 nights at this hotel with my fiance ! We had a great time and the hotel personel was very friendly and helpfull. We reserved one double room which was situated at the third floor. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. The cleaning staff came in everyday and replaced the used towels with new ones and doing the bed. A great overall value for the money! The only things that will need some adjustments are the breakfast which is almost the same every day and dont have many alternatives, the parking lot (which is almost inexistent). One more thing is that when I booked this hotel via hotels.com I received a free bottle of wine at check in but unfortunately I never seen it. The hotel personel may have missed this detail which can be good to know in the future! But as I said before a great overall stay and a great value for money !
Excellent stay
Great stay at this hotel. A real relief after a tiring overnight layover at airport bound to Bucharest. Easy getting to the hotel...from arrival hall and before getting out from the airport, go one floor down via stairs or lift, take express bus #783 heading towards Piata Unirii. Ticket cost 9 Lei for 2 pax. Get down at bus stop Piata Romana. Go towards the Academie of Economic Studies building and take the street Str. Caderea Basteliei until you see the hotel on your left. Piata Romana is an easy point to get to Piata Unirii or Piata Victorei by bus or trolley bus or metro. Billa supermarket is walking distance. Multiple pizza places. Check in was fast, room spacious and comfortable. Staffs attentive and friendly. They will help you in any way they can, even the housekeeping staff and the breakfast lady. They have only 4 rooms per floor and only 4 floors. The rooms facing front of hotel are bigger. Breakfast is a real treat. I feel it was like a personalised service although it was buffet style, as the breakfast spread was displayed in canapés style and small portions for couples to enjoy. They are being replenished fast though. The cheese platter is great. Even served bruschettas and grilled mushrooms. Savoury dishes change daily. Served tomato and kiwi juices too. Nuts and dried fruits included. We can even eat out in the terrace. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Bucharest.
An experience! An up and coming destination
We made use of the hotel transfer service which was €25 Euros. The room was modern and comfortable with the most amazing shower in the bathroom. In fact, it should come with a manual as it had so many buttons and controls. The room was equipped with a safe, mini bar, hair-dryer and cosmetics. We'd asked for an extra bed [rather than 3 in a bed] but that wasn't set up until the second day. We were also supposed to have a complimentary bottle of wine and complimentary water. We had to ask for the wine a few times and ended up paying for the water. There is Wi-Fi throughout the hotel but at times it was patchy but there is also a pc available to use in Reception. Breakfast is simple but good with a variety of croissants, rolls and bread, ham and cheese, fruit, yoghurt, eggs, sausage and bacon. There is tea, coffee, juices and water. The dining room is snug and if all the guests went to breakfast at the same time there wouldn't be room for everyone. The hotel is about a 20 min walk from the old town which has lots of bars and restaurants. The only time we felt unsafe was around the station, Gara de Nord as there were stray dogs and people lurking in doorways. We did see some beggars but they were not threatening. You also can’t get a cab from the station as it is only a mile away. Bucharest is a blend of beautiful old buildings and ugly modern blocks. I am sure that it is going to be a popular city break destination in time but it isn't quite there yet.
Excellent service
We stayed for 6days at Unique and we were really satisfied with our stay. Excellent service throughout especially from the receptionists and particular Nicoletta she was fantastic. The location was great really centralized the only problem was a construction next to us which led to early mornings. The room was nice, everything you could need wi-fi,dryer,tv,mini-bar etc. Breakfast was not bad but maybe they could need an upgrade and lose the salads and offer something else. Other than that a quiet hotel for our stay which was what we needed.
pleasant little hotel
Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. room was spacious, quiet and clean, bed was very comfortable. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. location is decent if you don't mind walking a little to the heart of the city (around 20mins). Would definitely stay here again.
Early arrival
We arrived in torrential rain at 8 am on a Sunday morning. We were told straight away we would not be allowed to check in till 12 and we should go for a walk and come back later, we could leave our bags though. The rain was bouncing high off the pavement outside so we asked was there a cafe we could go to ( even though breakfast was being served in the hotel ). The manager said he didn't know, we asked was there a shopping mall close by were we could pass an hour and was told the malls open at 10. We were left with no choice but to sit in the small reception till 10 although we were given a coffee after an hour when they realised we weren't moving. Not great, I'm sure there would have been a room were we could have had a shower while waiting for our room. We went to the Mall at 10 ( miles away ) and when we returned were told our room was ready 5 mins after we left, coincidence ? Nice hotel but a bit far from things, wont be back
Beautiful cosy hotel in the best area of Bucharest
Great stay at Unique hotel in Bucharest. Amazing location, great breakfast, rooms very elegant and cosy. Very friendly staff. Location of choice for my future stays in Bucharest.
Bucharest hotel friendly front desk
Thevhotel was a good choice. I was three nights there and found the front desk staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The oom see,Ed updated and I would stay there again Good location.
Pleasant Hotel with great staff
The staff at the hotel made our trip that much more enjoyable. They were always on hand to give advice about restaurants, call nightclubs to make reservations on our behalf, and to research interesting day activities for us. They made the language barrier much more bearable. The rooms were neat and clean, though the beds were a very hard and uncomfortable. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
Great place and very personal service!
We were surprised at the comfort and great service of this hotel. At first we booked it for 3 days, left to visit Brasov, and than we rebooked it for another 3 nights. Highly recommend the hotel !
Small and helpful hotel
A very central boutique hotel. Extremely interested receptionist. Constan was always ready to help. Excellent breakfast in a small hotel
Will go back anytime!
Nice staff, nice food, nice place! We really enjoyed our stay.
Great service
We had an early flight and the staff made us breakfast and coffee for 5.30am, which was very good of them.
Just as seen on line
Hotel was just as it appeared on line, very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed it very much and would stay there again.
Good choice for short stay!
Very clean, tiny hotel in good location.Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was modest.
Nice but could use Air Conditioning
Room was too hot as it has large windows (ceiling to floor) and had no air conditioning during early summer heat
Had a great time at unique, sometimes hard to find, but overall great experience!
friendly and clean hotel
The staff is friendly and full of information. The rooms are comfortable and spotless.
Very positive experience. Staff were very helpful. Enjoyed everything about this hotel.
Good hotel shame about trips
Nice hotel, basic breakfast, good area. However rooms smell badly of smoke, we requested a non smoking room but it came with ashtray & previous occupants had obviously been puffing away!!! Shower nice, but u need instructions to work the thing..... No kettle just a coffee maker which comes without the correct coffee, & for hot water to make drinks, water has to go through this first!!!! Staff nice & would stay here again if travelling to this city again. BUT.... if u want to pay for any trips on a debit card/credit card they want to charge 24% on top.....think a bit of cash in hand work going on here with a local cab firm, everything is CASH!!!!
Great location
Excellent location, courteous and professional staff, large rooms and great rates. Perfect hotel in Bucharest. Also, important in an earthquake-prone zone, it's a new building, build after the last serious earthquake. Breakfast buffet is really good (Bucharest's restaurants have great food in general, and this is no exception). The rooms are large, with bright windows. Beds are comfortable, there's a fridge in the room, LCD TV (with some foreign channels). Heating is ok (in winter), and there's also an AC unit (for the warm summer days). Parking is quite limited (typical for Bucharest), but can be arranged. The drinks in the fridge and in the bar downstairs are on the expensive side (for Bucharest), around 2x-3x what you pay in stores (there's a small one next door). Rooms have no safe, but the hotel itself is pretty safe as the staff is very careful about who enters the hotel; this can also be very annoying, as they ask for id for all guests, even if they are only visiting a registered guest. Some rooms are smoking, so be careful when you make the reservation. The rest of the hotel is non-smoking. My take: it's a great boutique hotel, close to everything, with great rates. It's not perfect, but I think it's the best choice in the area.
Central, convenient and friendly
Very easy to find once we got off the airport bus. It was extremely hot (mid 40's) and we were pleased to have air conditioning in the room. The hotel was very clean, the room comfortable and quiet and the staff were friendly with very good English. It's in a central part of the city, not far to walk to the old town, and easy to get the airport bus back again. The breakfast was also very good - lots of choice, fresh fruit etc.
Definately would stay here again!
I liked everything about this hotel. From the airport shuttle being there waiting for us and the courteous driver to the awesome front desk clerk, Ionut. Nice breakfast and comfy beds and huge room. Just a short couple of blocks to restaurants and public transport. Fast free internet service as well!
Great cozy hotel in the center of Bucharest
Good experience. The hotel was refurbished recently. Only one suggestion: the hotel should replace the traditional room keys with the magnetic entry cards to all guest rooms.
Recommended!
Unique Hotel has a good, central location- it's an easy walk from a stop on the airport bus route. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The hotel was ideal for our family of 5.
Small friendly little place
Lovely little friendly hotel that really made the difference for our trip to Bucharest. Staff were helpful and approachable and even arranged private excursion and taxis for us. We went on the Dracula Tour which took us to Sinaia, Peles Castle, Bran Castle and Brasov. Tour was booked through the hotel and is really enjoyable and a nice way to see the prettier side of Romania. Rooms are small, but clean and well kept. All you need really as you don't go to Bucharest to stay in your hotel! The street it is situated on is not very attractive, but as you will soon find out this is the 'norm' in Bucharest. We had no trouble and had a fantastic time using this place as a base to explore Romania. Don't forget to visit the Natural History museum it is fantastic and the Old Town is full of small little restaurants and antique shops to browse. Would recommend to people looking for a small friendly place that is just off one of the main streets in Bucharest.
So glad I stayed here!
Definitely unique, with a fun, modern vibe. Very conveniently located...I was able to walk everywhere...and yet far enough off of Plata Romana to be quiet. Very good breakfast selection. The staff was outstanding, friendly and willing to take time to give directions and helpful hints.
Central location but in a quiet area.
The Unique hotel was great value for money. It is small, well maintained and efficient. It is close to all sights - museums, parks etc. The staff were always very helpful. For example, when we asked about a late check out the manager just asked about our flight time and said that it would be ok.All in all, a very pleasant stay.
The Unique is a great place to stay.
Not too far from the airport but nice and central location to get around the city easily. Very small and compact hotel gives you a more personal touch. The staff speak good English and are very helpfull. Very well kept and clean Hotel in a quiet street. There are shops, bars restaurants and even a casino within easy walking distance. The breakfast was the usual continental selection with eggs and sausages, cold meats and cheeses, cereals and fresh fruit etc which were all nice and fresh and well presented. Our double room was a good size, comfortable and kept clean and replenished throughout our four night stay. The hotel can arrange transport with there car or minibus for trips or airport runs at reasonable rates. Overall our experience in the Hotel was a very good one and would definitely recomend it to anyone wanting to explore Bucharest or just stay whilst on business. June 2012.
Clean and functional
2 adults with luggage DID fit in the elevator. Breakfast is quite good. Very friendly and courteous service. Excellent central location.

Good stay in small hotel, very clean and tidy, staff really helpful and friendly - nice to visit a hotel that's not a large international chain.
