I stayed at this hotel by chance. Actually booked in to stay at another hotel on the same street so I called ahead of time to inform them we would be checking in very late due to flight. Was told that check-ins after a specific time, you need to check in at Ulster (owned by same person). Not sure if this info was on the website, but if not, it should be. Also they take a $100 bond which they will return the day you depart, upon inspection of your room while you wait. We did leave a couple items behind but they weren't returned to us, which I thought was odd because you can see the inspection person going in and coming out of the room & they only indicated to the reception that the room was clean enough to return our bond. I called the hotel a day later when i couldn't find my items and they told me yes they were left behind in the room. Other than those points, the hotel room was clean, reception pple were lovely, both night staff and day staff.

Extremely well priced. Spacious, extremely clean and tidy. Master bed was ex comfortable.

Pro’s - Great location. Close to get grocery’s. Spacious rooms. Bedding and towels provided. Good if you just need somewhere to sleep and shower. Cons - Mattresses uncomfortable, not enough extra blankets so we used heater all night. Low water pressure, shower is half a metre off the ground (huge step to get in and out) and water doesn’t drain straight away so your standing in a few inches of water. Parking is very tight when full.

Really happy with our stay. Unit was clean and tidy. Daily housekeeping. Staff really accomodating. Short drive to supermarket, hospital and other places we needed to go. Would stay again.

Very clean and tidy , one of the cleanest places i have ever stayed and excellent customer service and pricing was amazing for what was provided , highly recommended.

Good - cheap option, quiet, easy parking, beds are clean and well made, good space for a one-bedroom flat, spacious bathroom and toilet Could be better - kitchen floor was not very clean, shelves and cabinets are old, some furniture need attention, shower pressure a bit low, bathroom ceiling had some mold Overall - good cheap option, would visit again if the issues above were addressed

The stay was ok in total with spacious room and good communication from staffs. However, noise level from the main road traffic and neighbouring occupants were quite high though all the windows were shut, and shower’s water pressure was poor.

Industrial looking. Older building and bath. While spacious, it is generic and no curtains in kitchen which is part of a bedroom so light in at night.

Spacious 2-bedroom Apartment

Great stay as the area was quiet and the apartment was spacious. However, the cloth line was broken and the check-in was at a different place. The communication was great and we received reminders and directions & instructions for the check-in the day before.

Feel free and spacey.

This trip was our daughters school holiday treat, we got Good place to stay in last minute Even affordable price. Spacey handy location.

Very outdated property. Weird checkin system where you have to go to another property to checkin. Very loud neighbouring property and could hear them all night. Could do with a spruce up.

Apartment was very clean and tidy. Great location. Grounds grass was very long. Water draining from shower and bathroom basin was terrible. Really needs to be cleared. Will use property again tho.

Great communication from the owners. Apartment is so much more appealing on the inside. Had everything we needed for my family and I. Great place to stay. No noise. Only 2 of the rooms were occupied. Thank you for your great hospitality. We look forward to staying again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Spend the extra and book somewhere else.. not only is it old and run down BUT the cameras in kktchen are a huge concern. Reporterd to expedia

This is a pretty basic property of an older style. However it is clean and located close to town, so overall I think it’s a good deal.

The property was a bit run down. There was a very strong smokers smell. The got better after airing out for half a day. The kitchen facilities are very good.The water presure was weak in the shower. WIFI worked well. The location was very handly.

For the price, was good value. Easy location to most of Hamilton. Old units but had everything. Would have liked some extra duvets or blankets - had to borrow off the spare beds. More than two coat hangers for the entire unit would have been handy.

It is outdated. Property condition in need of TLC parking a little tight. Room 1 is the better room to use with big families. But it is convenient to the stadium which is why we use these apartments. Reception staff very friendly. The only let down would be having to go to another hotel to check in. There is a $100 bond which you'll get back if there are no damages. And shower to high to climb into. Has all the facilities that you need kitchen, dining area, beds, bathroom and heatpump so not bad. Prices do go up a bit so i suggest to wait before doing an early purchase. Dont pay more than you need too.

Room was really nice, enjoyed our stay. Just a heads up you do need to pay a $100 bond upfront which wasnt stated on the Expedia website when completing payment for the room. Overall, great experience.

Convenient place to stay. The shower area very dated and needs to be replaced. The high step into shower was a problem despite a handrail on wall

The unit looked like they needed a upgrade one room had a small hole in wale and glow in the dark writing on wall. 1 room musty. Incidental my credit card used fraudently day after staying here

The unit, not apartment was tired, dated, had a musty smell in 2nd bedroom and bathroom. Bathroom ceiling has mould, unmowed grassed area surrounding units and bright security light from kitchen parallel to bed in lounge. Lounge/outside door only old snib door. Recommend a complete renewal.

Good for larger groups. We were 3 adults&2childrren. Cheap rather than 2 seperate units. Clean, good beds and linen. Bit of paint off here and there but all good and clean. No check in office, no problem, park at the apartments and short walk to checkin motel. Good service .

A very old property, with 1960’s style kitchen and bathroom. But it was clean and had everything I needed/wanted. The area around the building needed maintenance… grass was very long!

We had to walk down the street to check in as reception is not on the premises and it was too hard to get out on the street in the car busy road

Good location for rugby. Rooms were adequately tidy and what we needed for the night. Room condition was average e.g. small holes in walls and stained carpets.

I have work in the hospitality industry and have travelled and stayed in a quite a few Motels/Hotels over the years This Motel was very disappointing, it was not worth the money we paid to stay 1 night There was no information book on the area, there was no information on how to work the TV etc. One of the single beds had a plague of ants in it On entering unit the bathroom floor was very wet with no warning sign. The shower was hard to get into as the step was very high, it did have a hand rail but it was still dangerous to get into, is not good for an older person. There was no spare blankets or pillows. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable except we froze needed some blankets. Our trip to Hamilton was ruined because of our accommodation.

Bed was clean. That’s all I can say positive. Staff are managing 3 properties. I turned up and got sent to one not on my booking. I queried it and someone had checked into my room, so ok only a minute down the road by car. Went to room, checked it out, still ok, went to grab a takeaway for dinner. Came back, cannot get into room. Call reception, there is a problem, can I go and discuss. It’s 7pm, I’ve been up since 5am. They now take 40mins to sort out issue and when I say it’s annoying and I’m getting angry, they tell me I’m welcome not to stay - when everywhere is booked. These people are rude and stupid, and no doubt taking advantage of the many beneficiaries they are hosting - I feel sorry for those who have to live there temporarily. Videoed the room on exit, no telling what these sharks will do next. DO NOT PAY GOOD MONEY TO STAY HERE.
