Fabulously clean. Great size room. Just fabulous

I loved the convenience of having the separate bedroom and the bed was fantastic, It was a little hot in the unit until we got the AC up to speed. Very nice accessories around the unit and in the bathroom.

We had an awesome stay in Tuscany in Thames. The receptionist was very accomodating. Clean room and all our needs where provided.

We were greeted warmly and told about the local restaurants that we could try. Room was nice and clean and spacious enough for 3 woman. We used the pool and had a hot soak in our spa bath after doing the Pinnacles walk. Highly recommend this place 😊

Great motel in Thames, the beds are SO comfy, I literally had the best sleep I’d had in a long time!

Nice and clean and spacious

This is one of the worst hotel we stayed during our New Zealand journey . Beds are extremely uncomfortable and staff is very rude and racist.

Very comfortable stay. Staff very helpful and we will go back another time for sure.

Mature Travellers

A good sized room, a comfortable bed, good bathroom and kitchen. The only negative was the busy road at the front of the motel.

Good honest motel in convenient location

This is a conveniently placed motel. A bit noisy from road traffic and the smoking areas outside were annoying. Right outside my door. The rooms are comfortable but the decor is old fashioned and the room smelled a little. Presumably because the windows aren’t shut to keep our cigarette smoke. Service of the rooms was OK but not awesome

We found it an excellent place to stay and the owner very helpful.Very good layout and felt like home.

The place was great and more than met our needs. Would stay there again.

Great place

It's a motel! Expectations should be in line with this. That said, the room was very spacious, it's very clean and the little touches are incredibly well thought out. Everything is very will organised in line with the vastly experienced proprietor who knows exactly what she wants to deliver and delivers it spot on.

Nice hotel but bad wifi

The hotel was clean and spacious. The only issue was the wifi. The reception desk made a big deal about how we only get 1000MB of data but that was ridiculous. I couldn't get a decent enough signal to even open my mail. And I was right be the office, so I imagine no one gets wifi. Cute town.

Overnight stay

Booked as an vernight stay on way to coromandel Peninsula. We had 2 bedroom which was very spacious. Spa bath a much appreciated added extra!

Charming small hotel

Friendly staff, clean updated room. wonderful bed. Our first two nights in New Zealand were perfect in this hotel. Highly recommended.

Tuscany on Thames

Spacious, clean, great bathroom, airy, convenient to main street, quiet. Friendly proprietors, very welcoming.

Great hotel walking distance to every where.

Owners are fantastic. Helpful and very accomedating. It's on the main road in. So some road noise which is understandable bit it quietens down at night. Recommend to anyone wanting a place to stay in Thames.

Spotlessly clean and comfy motel.

Motel is very comfortable, spacious room and spa bath in modern large bathroom. It was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. The owner was welcoming and friendly and able to give local recommendations for cafes and restaurants, useful as no meals provided. I would definitely stay there again when in Thames. We used it when visiting nearby Miranda wildlife reserve for bird watching.

Lovely hosts, central location, clean room

Booked very late notice on a Saturday night but staff were very welcoming and accomodating. Lovely big room with lots of space. Excellent bathroom with a spa which was a nice treat after travelling all day. Lots of TV channels to choose from. Great restaurant recommendations from staff which was much appreciated.

Spa bath/shower in our room was little high for the knee challenged but otherwise good service and very clean modern room. We overnighted on a Good Friday and paid little more for the room.

Close to town

Very nice motel.On the first night had inconsiderate people next door that talked and banged and crashed untill 2am.

Grumpy!!

Grumpy, man in a singlet(undershirt) who did not even say hello when he came into reception area spoiled our stay here! Rude and unfriendly It was pouring rain and he parked his car under the canopy area at check in so all guest couldn't use it...it was still there in the am. The location is right on the highway and opposite the port loading area. Only restaurants were a drive away in town. Room was clean, nice tub but the bed was not comfortable...not a king, two well used twins put together.

Welcoming and beautifully kept!

You'll get welcomed & walked to & shown your unit by the owner! Great tips provided about the area & restaurant suggestions were top notch, the units are impeccably clean and well stocked with quality products. The grounds are kept to a standard that amazed us. Very friendly people who provide quality service. Loved staying there for our last 4 days in NZ.

Recommend for Thames

We were impressed with the quality of this hotel. Our check in was dealt with quickly and efficiently! The room was very clean and tidy. It had kitchen facilities and a spa bath. The bed was very comfy and TV and wifi were great! There is a small pool but because we were only staying one night we didn't get to use it. There are some great cafes nearby and it is easy to spot as you drive into the township. It is close to the road but we couldn't hear any passing traffic. Well worth the price :-)

Friendly Stay

The owners of the motel were lovely hosts. They were able to provide me with breakfast the night before as I had to be up early the next morning before breakfast was being served. The room was pleasant, no frills but comfortable. The spa tub was much needed after my Canyoning adventure and the shower was amazing.

Very handy as we had a function in the town hall, owners are too friendly, loved the room, amenities, also very quiet...

Very nice stay. Only issue I had was that is is on a man in road, which made it a little noisy with traffic passing at times.

One of the best places we stayed at in the fortnight away. Close to everything. Wonderful hosts - nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend.

easy place to stay and easily accessible by road

Lovely quick stay for one night. Easily accessible and personal touch of staff showing us to room was lovely. Easy access to Thames and also staff knowledgeable about where to eat - which was amazing.

Modern and very tidy motel

We had a nice peaceful relaxing time the motel was awesome and the local dine was delicious. Awesome town. Will be back for sure

Excellent

I can't recommend this property highly enough. The owner was just lovely. She welcomed us warmly, helped us with local information and, unprompted, even brought us hot water to defrost the car windscreen but was also unobtrusive - lovely balance. Our two bedroomed apartment was huge and spotlessly clean, no view, but we weren't bothered about that. The large jacuzzi bath was great also. Great stay thanks. Lorraine.

Great spa bath

We based ourselves in Thames for three days to explore the area and drove up to Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. The place was clean and well serviced, free wifi and great spa bath. We used the gym which is next door but free for guests. The only downside we found was that we could still hear the road traffic at night and early morning. I wonder if double glazing the front windows on the unit would help there. Other than that, we had a lovely stay.
