When i going to business trip to LA I usually stay this hotel. Staff are kind and room also cleaned but sometimes middle of night very noisy outside or next room too. Unless it's not too bad. I like to stay this Hotel

I made a reservation for a double room with double bed and I did not receive that

Property was good for a few days stay. Worth the money but not any place I’d take someone to impress. Place was relatively clean but the best part was their customer service. I had issues with my card because I live out of state but they were very understanding and patient while I figured it out.

It’s close to good restaurants.

Overall is good. But no hot water when shower during stay.

There was a few stains on the walls the mattress and pillows were pretty hard, as well as there was a dried bug on the wall that you could tell had been there for quite a while

property is clean and staff are nice, not in a great area but as long as you mind your business and dont do or say anything its not bad definitely a lot of homeless ppl in the area

Parking spaces are to small.

My partner and I may have only stayed at the hotel for a short time, but it was very comfortable. I loved the bathroom and the beds were nice and fresh to sleep in. All the included appliances worked well, except for one lamp, but again we weren't there for long, so we didn't mind. And the staff were very respectful and kind when we first came in. A good 9/10 from me.

Very affordable , had the minimalist things that we needed, loved that! A lot of parking , saved us so much money, extremely helpful with a newborn. Traffic is a problem everywhere in LA but that's expected, absolutely will come back!

I read the others reviews and I was worried. I am glad I came the lady at the front desk was so helpful and nice. The room was big with a mini fridge and very comfortable bed m6 room was clean and housekeeping stopped by everyday to see if I needed anything . There's a bus stop nearby grocery store close by and it's in walking distance of los Angeles convention center. I felt very safe

I would stay here again

One night stay over the weekend. The hotel staff were very nice and were able to answer all my questions about the hotel and local things to do. The room was good and clean, slightly dated with fresh towels, brand new toiletries, hot water, and a mini fridge. Parking seems limited but we got in late and were able to get a spot in the lot, there is street parking for free. The only catch was a $50 deposit required by the hotel. I would stay here again, close to popular tourist areas.

This is my 2nd time for a 3 nights stay in this place. Very clean, convenient location . Bus 28 nearby take you direct to downtown live LA. Super market and many dinning options within few minutes walking distance. Will come back again next time when I’m in the LA convention center area. .

Not so bad

The room is pretty clean and we got free parking for one car👍 Our room did not have Kleenex nor shampoo. We didn’t have enough towels for three people, so I had to get them. The desk lamp did not work. We were told there was Wi-Fi, but it just wouldn’t connect so we cannot work on our computer and we used our data plan on the phone to do leisure reading. Overall l think it is a good stay but will probably not return to the hotel for next visit because the neighborhood is interesting but I was a bit worried when I walked in the neighborhood with my husband in the afternoon. Ok if you drive to the Korean restaurant in the neighborhood.

Staff was amazing. The bathroom was a bit dirty. Parking is tight. It met our needs.

Better than inspected

I booked this because I had a concert at The Novo. When driving up to it I was nervous because the area is rough but thats Downtown LA. I was so happy with this stay. My room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. I had the jacuzzi room and it is big. The property is beautifully updated. To be aware that you can only have one car on property so that was very inconvenient because we had drove in separately.

Excellent place for the price. People should be prepared to back out in reverse when the parking lot gets packed. I had a wonderful stay, thank you.

Close proximity to USC and the interior is in excellent condition.

Outside looks may not be good but inside the room is clean

The place was cute with comfortable beds. My three complaints was in our bathroom. The wall by the toilet was dirty. It grossed me out a bit. There was also only 1 wash cloth with the 3 towels provided. When we tried to call the front desk to ask for another but the room phone was not working. Other than those, I would stay again. The housekeeper just needs to pay a little more attention to detail.

Staff was friendly. Checking in and out was simple. Definitely would stay there again.

Slow WiFi and in downtown

The room was very clean, this is my second time here at this property and I love how close it is to BMO stadium and Crypto arena. Staff was nice upon checkin and checkout.

The room was pretty large considering what I paid for it which was nice. Cleanliness was ehh but the amenities in the room were a little run down. One of the lamps didn’t work, it looked like it had seen better days. The tv looked like it was hanging off the wall (in an unintentional way). And the toilet paper holder just fell off the wall. I was only there for a night and I don’t really care too much but some simple upgrades could make this place really nice.

Overall the room was nice there was no WiFi but I was ok with that. Once you leave the grounds the of the hotel it’s scary looking in the area

Nice weekend

My BF and i were here for a nice weekend. The hotel is nice but the parking is very bad and the water pressure is terrible. The room was very nice and comfortable.

There was no internet in the hotel from before and i stayed there 3 days without internet. they should mention on the website that no wifi. when i reached at 12 clock in the night i was helpless as they wanted full payment didn't want to co-operate. so i could go to another hotel

I guess if you vape in the parking lot they will take half of your deposit so dont smoke at all. They were really disappointing. Even when i asked where to smoke my vape they still charged me. Dont stay here only if you wanna be ripped off when you leave. Alos parking is a joke. Dont leave after 6pm they will not have parking when you get back from dinner. No stars if i could of so disrespectful.. also vending was down and the washer and dyer dont work..

Very clean hotel, staff are friendly and helpful, however our room’s soap box was broken. Then later at midnight our key card stopped working. The late night staff was very helpful and tried to resolve the issue.

It was a nice clean hotel. Front lobby staff were pleasant. You get your room key and the tv remote when you check in. Parking is tight but doable.

No iron or iron boards in room, staff (AM) doesn’t answer the phone or in not at the front desk when i went , twice at least; and coffee and juice is limited with one juice side out of order, the OJ side.

Shower head could be improved, microwave in each rooms, mattress and bedframe need upgrade. Staff is friendly, property was clean and rooms too. Beds and towels are replaced when staying overnight, Walls were thin to hear others next door. Nice place to stay when on a budget.

Nice for the Price

Surprisingly fine for a lower priced hotel in LA. Payed $128 for a room, it and the entire grounds were reasonably clean. Decent neighborhood. Free parking. 2ish blocks to The Metro. Would totally stay here again.

Wonderfully clean stopover hotel with great staff.

Tuscan Garden Inn is an exceptionally clean hotel in Los Angeles. If you need to stop for a night in LA this is a great hotel to catch some shut eye. Wonderfully clean and nice. The hot water and pressure in the bath is not great, but all else was. A lovely, lovely night spent here. Great staff.

good accommodation for the price

Overall it was restful. The room was a 205. It was adjacent to the street, but there is no sound coming from that side. The sound was coming more from the front door and front window window There is no curtain that can block out rest of the light thats coming in. There is an opening at the bottom of the door that let sound and light come through. The lamp between the bed was defective. There was a stench in the room when we came back for our second night. Bed was comfortable linens and pillows smell fresh Front Desk was very accommodating. I like the fact that the floors are vinyl and not carpet no microwave. Easy parking. Close to where we want to go.

Well they cancelled my reservation, the girl who was there treated me badly and told me that I had brought a lot of men on Monday! I mean it was raining horrible, when I told her to show me the cameras she answered meThe manager was not there and charged me 50 dollars for late check out for 1 and 30 minutes! I don't understand why they DO work in hotels! They get scared when they see that ONE man enters the room! I mean hello what are hotels for anyway the two women who work there are a terrible service!

There’s no breakfast included & the property requested cash only for your stay. Other than that, good place for the price. Staff was very informative.

We got the romantic room and it was really nice, the tub was amazing, jetted and felt sooo nice. It was clean, only thing was they didn’t give us shampoo and conditioner , just hand lotion lol. The bed felt nice and the shower was nice too. The area AROUND the property however is not nice, loud, and unsafe at night. But stay inside the property and it feels like a different place. Overall good stay, me and my lover enjoyed it.

Good place, good location

In the first room offered, there were dirty sheets and a strong smell of chlorine. The second one was clean, but I found out overnight that it is next to a pump that starts every time someone turns on the water.

Horrible

Lady up front desk was rude. On top of her being rude, I got to the hotel at about 1:30. She said I couldn’t check in until 3. The parking lot was completely empty. Seemed like they had maybe one or two guests at their property. She charged me an extra $25 to check in early. I’ve never been to a hotel where I’m not able to check in an hour n a half earlier when there is a room available. Only used the room to shower and get dressed, didn’t even stay the night. Will never stay here again.

Clean and quiet

There are alot of homeless people in this area. But the room itself was great and clean, the beds were comfortable, but any movement, the beds made lots of noise. The pillow I slept with was uncomfortable. The parking is kinda tight. We stayed 1 night. Paid 137.00 for 1 night and 2 beds. We had the cheapest hotel,out of our cheer family.

Not satisfied, was watching tv and noticed roaches coming out of the fridge. Disgusting. Went to front office to let them know and did not offer to do anything. I asked to be moved another room it was declined. I asked for refund it was declined. I have videos of roaches in the room. The best thing that they should have done if refund my money back.

This hotel wasn't in a very safe area. We wanted to leave our stuff in the car when we went out. For some reason, I had a thought to check the door on my way out. It didn't lock! Never have I ever had a door in a hotel not lock. You could just push it open. And when I went to tell them, they sent the cleaning lady to look at it and try to 'fix it'. In an area like that, this is an extreme concern! The room was either way too hot or way too cold. It was an ok stay. Cheaper than the rest of the hotels in the area.

They only give you one key and they hand you the tv remote when you check in. There was garbage and homeless people just littering the streets. Couldn’t walk anywhere and driving in the area is a pain.

I produce cultural event Expo Hondureña USA , I have to get hotel rooms for my guests coming from Honduras , so this place is near downtown and really nice clean and safe is been 3 years I put guests there they are more then friendly

While we enjoyed our stay, there were many issues with the unit we stayed in. A non-working bathroom ceiling fan, non-functional outlets near the sink, television was not correctly set up when we arrived and had terrible screen glitches. Only really good if you need a bed to stay in, and a place to go to the restroom. Oh and parking in this hotel is incredibly inconvenient. Very little room to work with.

Property was good for a one night stay. Room was clean, check-in process was easy, bed was comfy, and parking was convenient. Only major issue was that there was no hot water when showering at night or in the morning. Additionally, only 3 bath towels were provided for 4 guests.

all good. Maid staff very honest and service done right. Good thing you have many cameras within the property, need to put more signs of non smoking within the property please.

The room was super clean and very spacious, plus the bathroom was clean too and the front desk attendant is very friendly and fast. I really recommend this place and is going to be my favorite L A HOTEL.

Didn’t like it at all

Nothing really to complain about. When we checked in Friday 11/10 the lady was on her personal phone when we checked in, which I thought was rude. Because instead of giving us her full attention she was talking to whoever was on the phone. The lady who checked us out was more attentive.

The room was surprisingly nice inside compared to the outside. The bed was comfortable but the room could have been cleaner.

You get what you pay for. You can hear everything. I had ants in my tub. Small TV. Small towels. Tile floors. One lamp. Handed a remote and had to turn it back in. Not the worst but definitely not average.

Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Area around motel is not great, lots of homeless, but felt comfortable enough to walk to nearby restaurant in daytime.

Website indicated continental breakfsst but it was only coffee and juice.

Good price. Newly remodeled hotel. Parking is tight and if someone doesn’t park well then they are taking two spots. Lots of homeless nearby. The shower curtain had multiple holes in it.

Booked a room with a single king bed just for the night because we were going to an event near by and will definitely be back. Room was clean, bed was actually pretty great, air conditioner was cold, and the shower was nice. The area was also not to bad i walked to the belasco and back just fine but of course its still LA at the end of the day. But all in all i will definitely be staying again

We did not care for the mattress. Also could not get tv channels to work. Otherwise was fine for a quick 1 night stay. Great location for DTLA

The hotel was extremely noisy. We could hear everything from the people above us and from the people aside from us. the walls are paper thin. the noise level was to 100. everything from car alarms to people blasting their TVs. The people to the side of us would turn on their air conditioning and it sounded like they were vacuuming. Aside from the noise, our room didnt have electricity for about 30 mins. there was one person working at the front, so she couldn't step away to help us. Nothing in our room worked. FINALLY someone came to assist turned out the breaker in our room was shut off. Honestly, pay a little extra and go somewhere else. because you will definitely get what you pay for. $150 a night is not worth it.
