Great stay and staff
Staff were friendly & helpful. The room wasn't to my expectation for a deluxe room. Enjoyed the view of the pyramids. Phone to reception wasn't working, fridge didn't work wifi connection slow. Was happy to experience the shower worked with varible temperature. This hotel is more for low cost, no fuss just standard. The food was ok. Would I stay here again very last resort. I would choose another hotel.
Horrible. Floor was flooded from AC leaking. Front desk said sorry cannot change room will fix the next day. Had to turn off AC as not to flood the room. It was a fast drip from the wall next door to the bed and water was pooling all the way to the bathroom. Almost slipped and fell when first walked in not knowing floor was wet. Luckily one window could open but it was extremely noisy and too warm to be comfortable. Could not sleep. We left the next day.
The staff was extremely friendly. The restaurant on top of the building was an amazing view of the grand pyramids with delicious food! There is also a great seafood restaurant a block over and a local gas station with bazars close by.
Giza pyramids first time visit.
Great location in front of the pyramids & entrance to the archaeological site with only 10 minutes walk. Excellent staff and customer service. Our room has an outdoor tub that we used to relax after our walks. Definitely recommend & will return again. Thank you
I liked the beautiful view of the pyramids and the breakfast 10/10
Perfect hotel next to the rear entrance, to the pyramids, if ur American u will be let in thru the rear entrance, and best of all u can walk to Marriott to eat, and don’t have to pay 4 times more a night at Marriott, Egyptian food not all that good.
The staff member was so kind and welcomed
Perfect place with pyramids view on big window
Staff were pleasant and helpful, felt safe during my stay. Placement of the windows in some of the rooms is a bit odd, way too high, and impossible to see outside.
Good value for money.
Good value for money! Safe area and convenient, by a 24/7 gas station with a mini supermarket and a great view of the pyramids! A few issues with breakfast not being offered abruptly in the middle of my stay but the receptionist was able to comp me a free breakfast. For $30/night (or $45 to upgrade to a room with an outdoor bathtub), Turquoise Pyramids View Hotel gave me a memorable stay in Giza.
The view of the Pyramids from your hotel room and roof top was amzing. Being on the main road lots of traffic noise at night. Wifi was very bad and kept coming and going, even though staff kept saying it was fixed. Breakfast options are not the greatest. Dinner options not great either and very expensive compared to the local restaurants
Horrible place ! Please do not go there ! Fake ratings !
Overall our stay was average. The location to the Pyramids are amazing. The look of the area outside was dirty. Inside the property the pictures are misleading placed on the website and does not live up the the pictures. The rooms are very average and run down. The window in my room was broken and it took the staff close to 4 days to fix temporarily. It is a busy road and the noise from the open window was distracting to get a good nights rest. Breakfast options are limited and half of the items are not available. The reception staff where average but the restaurant staff where really helpful, esp. a staff member called Najadim. He was extremely friendly. The views from the rooms where excellent. Overall a very average stay. Good for about 2 days max.
Nice View
Amazing view but outdated room. AC was not working and the bathroom is somewhat dirty. They forced everyone to pay for the USD 20 New Year’s dinner which started late and sub par food. Be aware that they will try to deceive you to pay in cash even though they accept CC.
It was absolutely terrible they said they have a buffet for the breakfast but what happened their was absolutely nothing and they said that we can not get breakfast on the day of the check out not recommended at all
The hotel is just so dirty and dusty. The worst is when we got know that there is no water. The receptionist just said there is water cut in city and just hung up. It is the hotel's duty to make sure there is alternative solution or to at least inform it's patrons.
Lovely hotel, rooftop restaurant was fantastic, very intuitive friendly kind staff and generally a great experience
What an amazing hotel. This hotel's position and view in Giza are probably, and I kid you not, one of the best on the planet. If you want to wake up in the morning and see the last ancient wonder of the world right in front of you, book your stay now. The hotel is clean and the staff are excellent, especially Alaa and Toffy. We were stunned by this hotel and please note that Google street view is not up-to-date so don't let it put you off. Overall the best experience we have had as frequent travellers. Well done and Thank you Turquoise Pyramids Hotel.
You can’t beat the price for the amazing view this hotel offers. The only I would say needs improvement is the bathroom and the food options. The bathroom smelled like mold and sewage. The breakfast was limited and the lunch and dinner menu was not much to choose from. But the staff was kind and they had an on-site concierge that could book reasonably priced tours. So it wasn’t a bad price for the stay.
The staff were all very nice and helpful. The view from the roof top was amazing, the food was also great. The beds were very comfortable but overall the room needed some updates like new carpeting. We enjoyed our stay.
The hotel and staff are great but the restaurant and food are not up to par.
The location and the hotel are excellent, right in front of the entrance to the pyramids, the only negative point is the noise, as it is a room with views of the pyramid and there is no sound insulation, there were 3 nights when I could not sleep. A room at the back will always be a better option, even without the view of the pyramids.
The only highlight of this property is the location and the gentleman in charge of the souvenir shop next door! Internet was terrible, it seems they had issues with the plumbing because the whole place smelled and I did not get the type of rooms reserved.
Excellent customer service by staff. Delicious Egyptian breakfast.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Hotel overbooked and don't give what was promised
I want to let future travelers to Giza know about the work system of the hotels. I rented the Premium Double room with 2 Queen beds for 4 people - as soon as I finished making the reservation through hotels.com I received confirmation from the hotel in which they told me that they were giving me a triple room -I booked the hotel two weeks in advance- I contacted Hotels.com, the agent wanted to help me but couldn't do much and suggested I contact the hotel directly. I did so, and well they reconfirmed that they would give me the room I had booked (I have all the records of my conversations through WhatsApp) Right before my last flight connection from Doha to Cairo (2 hour flight) i contact the hotel again to let them know that in 3 hours I would be in a hotel with my family and that I wanted to make sure that my room was ready. His response was "your triple room is ready" I told the manager/owner again that I rented the Premium Double room for 4 people and she told me not to worry that everything was in order. When we arrived at the hotel exhausted at approximately 8pm they told us that the hotel was overbooked and that they only had a triple room and that there was nothing they could do. They basically left us with no options at 8pm at night after traveling for more than 17 hours in an area that we did not know. Friends had already told us that in Giza they use this system and that they really do not mind leaving you without a room.Hotels.com, please I want you to be aware
Es una propiedad q a pesar de estar en el àrea de Giza es bastante moderno, limpio y con view a las pirámides. El personal fue muy amable y se veia la parte de atras de las pirámides
Ok clean room service they clean every day ok
Did not spend much time in the hotel because i was always out visiting the gorgeous places Egypt has, but my stay there was great all staff is very friendly. Thank you
The hotel is right in front of the pyramids. The buffet breakfast was good. Our room, bathroom and shower were spacious. The elevator is very small. At least they have in service. The open terrace is great for relaxing and view the pyramids. The new GEM is about a 20 minute away walk. There's a Mobil gas station where you can buy snacks, water, sodas, coffee. For shops it's about a 10-15 minute walk. The staff makes you feel at home. Thank you Turquoise 😊.
the view from our room and breakfast area are thr best!!!! will recommend
Bad customer service
I was very disappointed with this property. I had flight issues and had emailed the property about my delayed arrival (they responded with it's not a problem). Once I finally arrived at 3am, Im told by the front desk that they gave away my room even though I had my reservation booked for a few more days. He tried to blame me even though I showed exchanged message with whoever is responding from the hotel, my reservation dates and everything. I was eventually accommodated to a smaller room but from that bad interaction I just was disappointed from at the customer service. I wasn't even offered anything for my troubles. I never had this happen to me before traveling to 30+ countries.
Awesome location for one or two night stay maximum. The staff was very accommodating however the cost of transportation to and from airport was extremely expensive. Traveled solo and I did not feel unsafe in this area. The gas station on the corner was great as well
Best hotel in giza. service are really great.you can see the pyramids from your room
Espectacular location next the pyramids
Front Giza Pyramids
Beautiful view and very close distance to giza pyramids
Professional staff. Breakfast was delicious. The food was good as well. Very accommodating with little kids. The view was beautiful from our room. The entire staff was always helpful. Bringing our bags to the car or getting us milk/water. We had a great experience. Emad and rebek even gave us an hour as our Careem driver was coming late to bring us to the airport.
Close to Pyramid but away from other attractions & city centre. Not much shops & restaurants around. My experience is unfortunately the worst. My late flight scheduled to arrive Cairo from Luxor at 10:30pm but delayed for 2 hours. I arrived the hotel at 2am to check in. The hotel 1st told that me my room was no longer available because we had missed the check in date and next they said that our booking was not in the system. They only agreed to provide us a room when we threaten to complain to Expedia. Then we waited in the lobby for more than an hour them to prepare the room. At the end, we got the room at 4am, 2 hours after we arrived the room & were extremely exhausted that we gave up the morning itinerary to rest. In addition, this hotel didn't allow change of booking on Expedia. I made a mistake to book as 1 person instead of 2 but couldn't made the change in Expedia. I tried to send message to the hotel on Expedia but they didn't reply. At the end, they charged us $25 while the price difference in booking is only a few bucks & the room actually was of the same grade.
The staff are amazing the view it’s tremendous 10/10
Great view
I had read some bad reviews and almost cancelled, but we had a great stay here. The staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was really good. We had hot water and great water pressure. No complaints, all good!
Who are these 5 star reviewers?
The hotel isn't even close to what some of the reviews are saying. We walked into the hotel at around 2 AM, only to be told that our booking was cancelled. Who cancelled it? They didn't have an answer. Why Hotels.com shows the booking active? They didn't have an answer. Instead, they said they will take us to a nearby hotel just 4 minutes away. We refused and tried to call Hotels.com to clear this up. All of a sudden they found a room for us but we have to wait 5 minutes. The 5 minutes turned into long 3 hours. We waited for 3 hours until we got a room. We booked two rooms for three nights and we already messaged the hotel we will be checking in late. That means they had plenty of time to get the room ready for us. While we were waiting two other couples walked in and told the same thing. One of them took up the offer for another hotel and walked to the hotel. It is a run down hotel with mediocre breakfast. The light fixture in the washroom is hanging down by the electric wire. All of these don't matter for us at this point because this booking made us to question Hotels.com reviews in the future. How they managed to get these glorifying reviews? It's not a cheap hotel trying their best to accommodate their customers, something else is going on here. They are not even trying to be nice.
the hotel is across the street from the pyramids. Every morning, when I wake up, The majestic pyramids are standing there.
Great view of the Pyramids from the room and from the roof top restaurant! Excellent for a night or two. Food quality at the restaurant is very good and and the staff was great. Bathroom in the room could be definitely better, it is too small and the room was not that big as well. Otherwise had a good time staring and taking pics of the Pyramids all the time!
Never again
No internet or nearly 0 speed, tv - no signal , staff with energy in slow motion, walls dirty, patched carpet, better not eat breakfast there.Room size good enough. But the view of the pyramids from the windows is amazing.
Stayed at this property for several nights. Shower water would not stay hot during duration of shower. Bathroom kept a bad sewage odor. Mattress was flat and hard. The mattress topper placed in mattress was ineffective. Bath towel were questionably clean as they were dingy in texture and color. Towels were replaced daily but room was not cleaned.
Great customer service experience and great place to staying great breakfast
I am still waiting on my refund My flight was cancelled I missed the 3 nights I booked I communication Don’t answer emails
Nice property, excellent view
The view of this hotel is amazing, you have a very good view of the pyramids, the staff is really helpful, nice property
It’s right across from the pyramids so it was easy to get to my tour. I loved that it is clean and modern. Highly recommend.
Staffs are friendly. Complementary Breakfast is good as price. Toothbrush and paste is very important as a residential hotel. But they don’t provide. This is very unfortunate. Otherwise all is good as well as price. I requested them my flight time is 7 o’clock please my check out time extends for 2 hours. But they charge for 2 hour’s again 200 Egyptian pound. This is really not good attitude or professionalism.
The pyramids were in view from our window and the restaurant where had breakfast, how awesome is that! The breakfast is very good too. The room was clean. The biggest problem was the ac didn’t work and we woke up sweating, it’s spring luckily not in the summer where I can imagine how dreadful it would be. The gas station next door serves some awesome coffee and Egyptian snacks at very reasonable prices. If the ac worked, I’d consider staying here again
Great location and good hotel with an amazing view
Hotel is very well located and you get a great view from your room and rooftop restaurant. Rooms are clean and beds are good. Very good price for the location and services you get. Negative - Rooms get very noisy as the hotel right on the highway road and there is loud noise of passing vehicle and horns which sometimes become difficult when you are trying to get a goodnight sleep. Hosts are nice and friendly but the tours offerered by them are on higher side so review with other apps like viator before booking.
Yes,yes,yes.
Awesome stay..would TOTALLY recomend. Great location and service!
Don't go there
Would highly recommend this hotel for your visit to Giza! Food was great!
Staff was very friendly.hotel was clean and nice. Food was average.
The staff was simply amazing. Very clean and spacious at a great price and what a view
I hotel is great staff is very friendly and helpful. food is excellent both breakfast and dinner you get water daily and you can get your room is clean daily also , I really enjoy my stay, location is excellent, only barrier was shower was shaped in an odd way, but overall I would recommend staying at this hotel and there a gift shop right next to the hotel which was very convenient, forgot one of my chargers at home and they had it at the store. I will visit again at this hotel.
Robbed
Don't stay here if you want to keep everything. I discovered 70 euros missing from my belongings after staying here and still haven't heard from the hotel with a response. Location was good, noise was an issue. The rooftop was the best thing about this place but you should stay somewhere with trustworthy staff.
the room is clean and their service was also great.
The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. We had a small emergency and the manager Mohamed literally saved our vacation for us. The rooms were clean and the service excellent! Many thanks!
Great stay at Giza
The hotel service was excellent. We could see the pyramids from our room. Hotel staff were very polite, very helpful and service was excellent. The place was clean food was excellent. Will stay again
I am so incredibly happy that we picked this location. The rooms were perfect. You could honestly not beat the experience of waking up and seeing the pyramids. The breakfast we really good too. It is directly across from the Mena house, you couldn't get a better location to the pyramids without paying literally 5x's as much for Marriot. We personally only ate breakfast and slept in the room, so for us it was perfect. Beds were nice, pillow was perfect, shower water was perfect. Extremely clean. Friendly staff. They even have a laundry service with means you can pack lighter. 10 out of 10 - highly recommend. We drove by some of the other hotel options we considered and I am so glad we picked this.
Excellent service thanks
Konumu piramitlere çok yakın ve fiyatı uygun. Bunun dışında bir artısı yok. Hijyen olarak çok iyi değil. Extra bir hizmet beklemeyin.
No breakfast was included even though it was stated on the booking that it would include breakfast. The bed was not comfortable because the mattress was old. When you shower, the water remains standing unless you pull out the drain. There is supposed to be a view of the pyramids, but this is not available in all rooms and was therefore not available in ours. The cleaner was friendly.
bueno
