The rooms are tired and housekeeping sporadic. The above average breakfast buffet but mostly the rooftop pool and friendly service there made up for the rooms. Location was good for uber.

Tryp by Wyndham was our hotel for an overnight stay it was clean, staff were friendly and the location was within 10-30mins of all attractions. Transportation via Uber was easily accessible. Overall good stay.

In all the property felt very upscale and nice. Even though there was a language barrier because I am fluent in English and some of the staff were fluent in Spanish, they still took very good care of me. I loved it.

This was a nice property. The rooms were clean and spacious. The check in and check out process were seamless and easy. The one drawback was the breakfast. It was okay but a bit basic compared to that of another property where I've stayed in Panama. On my last morning there was an issue which resulted in nothing hot being served - basically a continental breakfast was all that was available.

Transportation is convenient, so is the variety of dining however the only dislike I have about the place was that the breakfast was not warm.

The cleanliness of this place and the receptionist was wonderful I loved it I definitely will recommend this place to anyone. The only thing was the breakfast should be a little bit warm however, the dinner was perfect.

I recently stayed at the TRYP by Wyndham Panama Centro, located in Via Veneto, Panama City, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel’s location is excellent, with easy accessibility to the metro and a walkable distance to numerous restaurants, making it convenient for exploring the city. The room was spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The service at the hotel was commendable, with the staff being attentive and helpful throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the morning breakfast, which offered a nice variety of continental options, perfect for starting the day. However, the one downside to my stay was the room service. While the convenience of ordering to the room was appreciated, I was disappointed by the $2 delivery charge applied every time, even for something as simple as a bottle of water. This seemed a bit excessive, especially considering the overall quality of service provided by the hotel. In conclusion, I would recommend TRYP by Wyndham Panama Centro for its prime location, spacious rooms, and great service, but be mindful of the additional room service charges.

The staff at this location are amazing

Overall, this was a nice place to stay before our cruise. It was clean, they have a nice rooftop pool and there's a lot to do/see in the area around the hotel. The service staff was SO slow. Meals were delivered to our table over and hour after ordering. Drinks took about the same amount of time. Very poor service and quite a bit of attitude from staff. But the rooms were good, nothing fancy but comfortable.

Property location is great.

The Hotel is conveniently located at short drive distance from business area and casco viejo, in a safe and quiet location, although not particularly beautiful. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast is good for quality and quantity. Structure and public areas new, clean and well organized. Fare was convenient for one night stay. I would have appreciated to receive a courtesy bottle of water ( Staff did not realize or took action in regards to my VIP status).

Great location for price

Hotel rates 4.2 but pulled down by restaurant service. Fantastic location for restaurants and Ubers. Room 206 great except hall noise, room 601 very noisy bangs at midnight. Front desk very helpful and holds luggage between visits. Order omelettes when you give your room number for timely delivery. First happy hour ok. Second got drink. Waited 25 minutes for nachos. Finally queried and got cold nachos immediately. Second drinks never arrived. Walked around corner for rest of meal. But still will return next week.

The room offered a lovely view and ample space. My only suggestion for improvement would be to consider adding a microwave to the room. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would recommend this hotel to others!

Nice hotel, good location for restaurants and some shops. Staff really helpful and efficient. Nice breakfast and the restaurant is also nice to eat in at night.

The hotel was safe and clean. Front desk were prompt in attending to our requests. We especially liked our breakfast. Joel went above and beyond the call of duty. He was very personable and interacted well with all guests. Joel got an A plus from all of us.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. While you're staying there, I highly recommend the restaurant next door called El Jardin de Gaudi!

The hotel and rooms are updated. What would have made our stay better was access to a microwave and the opportunity for a late check out. That being said they let us store our bags there until we had to go to the airport.

The people were very helpful! Nice hotel. Amazing staff. My only complaint were the elevators. It's not the hotels fault but there's too many floors for just 2 elevators. They should have at least 4 elevators. Because of this, it takes a good 5 minutes to get into an elevator.

The staff from the front desk to the restaurant were all more than helpful. Marian at the front desk coordinated a “breakfast to go” when we left the hotel early one morning. When traveling through Panama City we will use Wyndham TRYP because of their wonderful staff.

I stayed here for few days. I loved the hotel, the room was big and nice, and the housekeeping ladies were absolutely awesome. I definitely recommed staying here. The reason I took one star off: I will say that the front desk man around midnight was rather rude to my boyfriend (who arrived a little after 11pm because different flight) and provided information like "there are two people up there, check for yourself if you don't believe me" when I was alone and even if I did have someone with me at that moment, it was none of his business to say nor to care. This made me think about leaving to another place, but I couldn’t justify the change just because of one person. Anyway, again, the hotel is great, the pool area was always clean and nice, the room was very spacey and my coffee maker was refilled daily, the shower pressure was absolutely marvelous if anyone cares about that (I do), and the maintenance people arrived quickly when there was a leak in the toilet. I only had breakfast twice but it was decent. Just another buffet.

Check in was quick and smooth. Lobby people aren't the type to say acknowledge you every time you come in and out which is fine. The room is very spacious with plenty of closet/storage/dresser space for your things. Hardwood type floors instead of carpet which I love. Bathroom is spacious as well with great water pressure. Rooftop pool is small and intimate vibe but didn't realize the hot tub is not hot, just bubbles. Breakfast in the morning ends at 1030 which is great for when you want a lazy morning. Free parking was an absolute perk. Great value for our money. I would absolutely stay again if I were back in Panama City.

Great location and facilities. Rooms are big and breakfast is pretty good. The only issue we had was that our room wasn't ready after 3 pm and we needed to wait half hour, the front desk offered us a drink at the bar while we waited. Pillows are too thick.

Nice place and location for the price

Check in and check out was seamless. The room was larger than expected with a great view of the skyline. The breakfast was exceptional with slight menu changes that was appreciated. The chef did not miss on any occasion. Steak cooked ro perfection! Staff extremely helpful arranging tours and transfers.

The hotel is nice and good overall in all aspects. The room was big and clean, and the breakfast was good. The food at the restaurant was good too. Check in and check out were quick and efficient. The hotel is in a nice area with many shops and restaurants close by. Some guests were noisy beside my room, but that's not the hotel's fault.

This property has a great location, 3 minutes walking distance from the El Carmen subway station. There are many restaurants, and shopping options. The building is well maintained, and clean. The staff is very friendly.

The WIFI instructions didn't work. The TV remote was difficult to use. (I needed a technician.) There was no list of channels.

The price and breakfast was good

Hotel was clean, even the room my family and I stayed in. The staff was not rude knor inthusiastic when we got there. It was good seeing a refrigerator and iron in the room. Bathroom was super spacious and modern, water was warm almost cold, but ok. Room had no balcony but was ok. Outside the hotel needs painting and there is a bad smell in the outside which is not the hotels fault.

Loved everything about Tyrp by Wyndham . When i arrived and checked in i didnt had to wait long, my room was ready and waiting . , the staff was friendly and although most of them was mostly Spanish speaking they all tried their best to understand what i wanted by i was speaking English...Especially Natalia in The Gastro Bar at 507 ..breakfast was wonderful, Happy hour evening at the Gastro Bar 💃....the lady who mixed the cocktails on the evening shift (didnt get her name :( ...she also did s wonderful job on the drinks ...⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good hotel for price

We really appreciated the suite with a lovely view of the city. And walking around, we found dinner and breakfast fairly nearby. Great place to land after 3 weeks of Central American travel.

Loved this location it was walkable to bars and restaurants and short distance drive to other locations. Loved the rooftop pool and views. I would stay again.

This was an amazing stay, the property is in great shape, there are many amenities around the area, you can walk to just about anything (dinning, shopping and etc.) in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend this hotel.

Okay hotel

Location not so bad. Rooms are very basic, and needs an upgrade. Front desk can be more welcoming and care about their guests. Had issues with door keys and not once they apologized for the situation. It felt as if they are doing a favor for allowing me to stay there. Overall, it’s an okay hotel.
