OVERPRICED SCANT ROOM, NO MICROWAVE 2.5 STAR

Room was scant. No microwave, one chair, 2 towels, soap. TV Remote didn't work on the ENTER/OK key. We were offered a price of $165, but then charged $179 plus taxes, and fees, and fees, and fees, and fees, and parking which was RIDICULOUS.

Very fun hotel!

It is a fine place to stay during Orlando conferences and Sea World visits. It is strange that the hotel charges a $20/day parking fee for guests!

We left a backpack. The day we departed the hotel a staff called us first and told us that we left the backpack with my name embroidered. In that call the staff said they’d email us the directions/how they will mail us the backpack. They haven’t sent any email for two days. Then we called and asked what happened. Another staff talked to us and said that they never saw the backpack. So we were very confused.

The property and location is great and I have no complaints regarding that. However, the beds and pillows are extremely cheap and uncomfortable. My friend and I couldn’t sleep because of how uncomfortable the beds are. When we asked for more pillows to help with the bed situation they told us it would come at 9:30 AM but never actually came at all. We asked the front desk again and all she could say was “they have been made aware and that we needed to be patient” after we had already waited 3 hours for pillows. The pillows never came and I don’t plan on ever staying here again since the beds and customer service were not great at all

Great location close to the convention center. Check in was awesome, Ian was super friendly. The lobby, bar lounge area was busy and a nice atmosphere. They have breakfast but we didn’t have time to enjoy it. The lighting in the bathroom is fantastic, the mirror doesn’t fog after a hot shower. Rooms are nice, just enough space with mini refrigerator. There are no dressers or drawer space which we didn’t need as we only stayed one night. But if we were here for a longer time it would be nice to have cloths put away without having to look at them.

Very disappointed

The heat did not work in my room. The next day they fixed it. It then blew a fuse after five minutes. I switched rooms. Today I came into the room and a silverfish was on the bed. I went to take a shower and then there is no hot water. I am trying to get in touch with the front desk.

a hidden gem

This is a little hidden gem. The staff is very professional. I like that you need your room key to get the elevator to work. The lobby is clean, they have a pool table on one side of the lobby and a foosball table on the other side. Complimentary breakfast is not bad, they have a variety of food to enjoy, and the complimentary coffee is avail at the lobby 24/7. The room is clean and spacious, this is a hotel I will definitely book again with my family.

Close to parks, we weren’t there for them but overall convenient location. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, not a separate space just along a wall and then you have to move through the lobby to the other side to sit, but the lobby had a lot of kid / teen activities. The elevators would be tied up with staff (not their fault if that is what they are supposed to use, but several times I would have to wait because there were carts on the elevators and no room). The room was big and clean, staff was friendly and helpful, overall a good experience and would stay there again.

The rooms here are nice and clean. The lobby is a great place to hang out with the family. There are plenty of games for everyone.

TRU near convention center

Location just off International Drive near convention center is convenient to I-drive, local parks/attractions and I-4. Atmosphere is modern, fun and family friendly. Parking is adequate and easy access, but not free. Free basic breakfast was good but very crowded late in the morning. Lobby has a bar but no restaurant. All employees we encountered were friendly, professional and efficient. Rooms were reasonable size, clean and modern.

Our room was cleaned. There was hair in the Bathroom celling.. sink was dirty and Water was coming very slow. They didnt clean our room even we requested room service.. They were very rude when we asked for Room service.

Perfect location

Front desk staff was great. Cleaning staff did not clean our rooms after 2 days and we had to request towels and trash pick up late at night when we got back to the room. No explanation was given for why room wasn’t cleaned.

Walking distance to SeaWorld was very convenient and nice, saved on expensive parking. Very nice breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Terrible water pressure coupled with very irritating water flow spray pattern in bathroom sink. Florida water is usually very good (taste, smell) in other surrounding hotels, but this was the first time I experienced very bad tasting and smelling water from the bathroom faucet. We had to take cups of the boiling hot water from the lobby and let it cool overnight to brush our teeth and rinse and to drink in the morning because tap water was undrinkable. Water smelled like sewage.

Carpets around the property are dirty, smells dirty. Room was ok, however when we arrived to our room there was not hand soap on those refillable bottles… how well they check or clean the rooms??? Average!!

Truly this place was perfect. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had numerous choices and was delicious. I will be staying there again next time. The workers there were friendly and helpful.

The property was really nice and very clean, front desk staff was very nice. I didn’t like the bed frame very dangerous hit my knee on it twice. Also Paying to park kinda caught me off guard.

Spent 4 days with family, just great. Quiet, cozy and excellent location. Kiddos love area at lobby to play. Breakfast just great, personnel amazing. No the first to and no the last.

A Quiet Place

We were there just for an overnight stay, but it was a very pleasant stay. I love this location, because it's very quiet here. The front desk staff were professional and very friendly. This last time I was a bit shocked that we had to pay for parking when provide times we didn't have to. I believe it was to keep people who were going to nearby theme park, from parking there and avoiding theme park parking fees.

A very convenient location, close and accessible to everything! Super clean room, comfortable beds, the 24 hour coffee station, the varied and tasty breakfast. I did not rent a car but there was plenty of parking available. Means of transportation were plenty and affordable! I will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Room and hotel was clean. Room was quiet and had nice blackout curtains. Shower had good pressure and water temperature. We found the beds to be very uncomfortable with a small thin blanket and only three pillows that were pretty flat. I was disappointed this hotel charges their guest $20 a night for parking - I expect this at a larger hotel/resort, but this hotel is not that big. We had an odd experience with the hotel cleaning staff taking over the elevator we were in. We just wanted to get up to our room and the staff member stopped our elevator on a couple floors on our way up, held the door open so they could bring different carts on and off the elevator. They apparently didn’t think this was rude to keep guest hostage for a 20 minute ride. Most likely we won’t return to this hotel.

The location is convenient, check in was like two minutes since i had done the booking online.Their breakfast was up to standard,however i personally didnt appreciate the idea of paying for parking,i mean like seriously,im staying here so why should i pay for parking???

I was blown away by how clean the hotel was, not only our room but everywhere I looked it was spotless. They had Grubhub partnership that saved us quite a bit of money and their customer service was stellar (both the front desk and bar). I definitely will be staying at another Tru in the near future.

Stayed for a convention at the OCCC. Perfect hotel, great price and I was able to walk to the convention center easily. Will absolutely stay here again next time!

The stay was great the only problem is the hotel not providing all of those fees and a deposit for each night plus 20 a night for parking when booking! If I had known all of that I would’ve booked somewhere else! Definitely won’t stay again but it was nice just to much plus none refundable

We were really irritated that once we arrived, a hidden $20 a night parking fee was being charged. If you need to make $20 a night off of your guests, just raise the price of the room and STOP HIDING FEES FROM GUESTS! This only makes guests mad. We will not be back because if this. It’s underhanded to nickel and dime for parking. Especially when you charge that and there is NO PARKING! We drove around the completely full parking lot for 20 minutes to find parking in the very back, far away in an unsafe area that we paid $20 a day for! Seriously!? Completely infuriating!!! Never going back.

I liked how it was clean and no roaches. The staff is also friendly. It was a very good environment and I recommend staying here if you want to book a hotel! I had no problems staying here too! The only bad thing was paying for parking which is $20-25 a night.

Safty - like that it needs a key card for the elevator. Could supply more towels in the bathrooms.

The Parking situation was out of hand i had park my vehicle in a unsafe way meaning like anyone could of back up and hit my car other also had to pay for parking for my stay which i don’t understand if there were no parking available other than that the stay was okay

The hotel is amazing!!! All the staff were sweethearts! I enjoyed the free breakfast, the pancake machine is super cool. I liked that there was a mini shop next to the front office to buy snacks and it was open 24 hours. I also liked how they offered coffee and hot chocolate all the time. They had games in their lobby and a section with recommendations of things to do in the area. My only complaint is the parking which can be very hard to find if you come back to the hotel late but it’s a very small issue so no big deal!

Between lack of room service apparently not every day. But worst they have a person right out of front who doesn’t advertise selling time shares working for Hilton uses that Hilton doing a promotion to get ppl to use their hotels more and is a complete scam to go sit through a timeshare which was never said. Just for that never use this hotel. I will next be going to bbb about the scam in the hotel.

The friendly staff, how clean the rooms were, and the the pancake machine were great. Had a little problem getting the tv to work correctly, but figured it out. I’d stay there again.

Ian at the front desk was fantastic! Great property! Clean rooms (no carpet!!), convenient location, very quiet rooms despite being at capacity during our stay. Breakfast offered a variety of items and was kept well stocked! They also have pool a foosball table and a variety of games to enjoy in the lobby. Will definitely return during our next visit to Orlando!

Sorely dissatisfied

I stayed in this hotel exactly one year ago and the experience was so wonderful I booked it for this year. What a disappointing stay. Maintenance had to visit my room various times because the room was falling apart. The shower mixer came off the wall, the tv wouldn't turn on, the key worked for the elevator but not the room door. It was not a good time. Also, they blast three different music stations simultaneously in the same lobby area. At 6 am. Im talking EDM booming plus two more songs playing in the same lobby at the same time. It was not a relaxing stay at all.
