Clean comfortable and convenient to me and my family.

My husband and I were in town to visit family, we spent 3 nights at the property with no complaints.

The sraff was excellent. The rooms nice. Couldn't get the room temp right either too hot or too cold.

I liked that the property is very close to the Columbus airport. They also have a shuttle service to transport you to and from the airport. It was very convenient for my trip.

New Year's celebration

Stayed on NYE with family who had flights NYD. The front desk clerk hepled us ring in the New Year, which was very sweet of her.

It was just as great as the first time we stayed there.

Rooms a bit small

The property was easy to find. The room was very comfortable.

They charge for parking if you leave your car when flying out. Not clear in their description.

Most of the room was high tech and I was unable to use TV. Had to return to desk at check in to find out how to use the door key. Breakfast was ok. I liked that they had good yogurt. Coffee also was good.

Check in staff was not friendly or informative. Breakfast area was not clean. There were hairs on the plates holding the serving spoons the eggs were wet and watery and the security guard has nothing better to do all night bc you can’t even sit in your car to smoke bc he’s constantly harassing you walking up to your car demanding to see your room key. I felt unsafe when he walk up to my car at night and he was very aggressive as if he didn’t believe I was a guest there

The staff during breakfast and checkout was very rude. Room should be comped based off of Tru’s guarantee of excellent service.

My room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was acceptable. My only complaint was being woken earlier than I wanted to by a pre-set alarm that I hadn't noticed. I suggest that a standard part of room preparation should be turning off any alarm that was set by the previous guest.

The room was smaller than expected but everything was clean and necessary supplies were available.

The hotel is great… clean, friendly and helpful staff. Only issue is close to airport so hear aid traffic throughout the evening.

We’ve stayed here many times. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Loved everything! The room smelled like mildew so we closed the bathroom door and it helped quite a bit. Other than that it was very nice.

Check in was rocky. Rooms were not ready until well after 3pm. Otherwise, nice place. Clean, updated, easy parking.

The front desk staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable.

This place is my first pick when taking early or very late flights out of CMH.

This was a new property we thought. The design of the rooms and bathrooms was really well thought out. They must have done numerous surveys to punch all the button and get it just right. We were noticeably impressed.

Not really sure what to say about this property. It was nice, it was clean, check-in went very smoothly. But the very ill placed clothing hangers protruding out of the wall in the hallway caused me great pain on several occasions even though we were only in the room for a few hours. Hanging blunt metal objects in the hallway is never a good idea and I ran into these things so many times my arm looks like I've been assaulted. Lastly, there are TVs on the first floor as you exit the elevator. When we were leaving around 3 AM on checkout day... The entertainment of choice was porn. Right there, as soon as the elevator door opens, for eyes of any age to see.

Everything about it was truly awesome! Right down to the shuttle service from the airport.

New building, very clean, had everything we needed. Comfortable bed and good shower. Free parking. Free breakfast with some hot items.

Would stay here again. 5 mins away from airport. Close to everything we needed. Not sure if anyone was rooming next to us because it was very quiet. Sound proof is always a plus.

Loved the modern casual vibe of this place! Even have a pool table in the lobby! Coffee 24/7, yummy too! Breakfast great! Beds soooooo comfy!

Basic done right!

Although the location is near the airport I didn't hear planes overhead during my stay. There's a pool table and board games provided for use in the lobby which is nice and unique. Staff cleaned tables often and that is refreshing. The breakfast was just ok.

I will definitely stay here during my next visit, just as long as pricing remains reasonable.

Staff were awesome. So friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy, shower was great. We stayed here so that we could leave our car and fly. Shuttle took us to airport and cost to park the car was reasonable.

Wonderful Stay

The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean. I was so happy about the walk in shower. It was also convenient to where I needed to go, which was to the state fair and shopping at the mall. I also loved how I was greeted with my name, when I turned the television on.

Service, staff, food and hospitality were great !! But room was not ready for us and had to wait in lobby for about 45 mins when we arrived. We had somewhere to be soon after our scheduled check in time and the delay made it very inconvenient. Staff apologized and kept us updated which helped. But experience would have been better if room had been ready.

Breakfast bar was nice. Gym was really nice. Staff was nice and helpful as well.

I have stayed in many places with "breakfast" - The "breakfast" at Tru by Hilton was not even close to "breakfast" The room was micro small, no in-room amenities at all, I won't make the mistake going there again.

Very clean hotel. Disappointed that housekeeping never came so I had to make my bed with new sheets, get garbage, and get rid of the towels. Staff then had me put the towels in the laundry room.

Lesson learned. I will never stay here again!!!

Our hotel stay would’ve been great except for the fact that my daughter left her purse in the room and when we call Tru, we’re told that the housekeeper didn’t turn anything in to their lost and found. Look, I understand that obviously it’s finders keepers once a guest leaves a room. I also understand that there should be a code of conduct that workers should have, and should be obligated to return guests items left behind. The housekeeper who cleaned room 127 on August 2, 2024 should be looked into so that this doesn’t happen again.

Tru is a great hotel in Columbus. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly. I appreciated they had “quiet” hours, and a major perk is that their coffee was delish!! Most hotel coffee is not my favorite, but theirs was good!!

I would definitely stay here again, location was perfect and hotel was clean.

The air was not working

This was disappointing. Rooms are very small. Hardsided luggage doesn't fit anywhere. Room temp never cool enough and cuts off when you leave the room, so takes forever to cool down when you get back. Breakfast was OK, bathrooms are decent sized, staff was very friendly and nice shuttle to the airport.

Good stay

The hotel was clean and quiet, despite being full for a music festival and tattoo convention. It also had a very convenient location. One complaint—the beds were rock hard and this is not my preference. I slept okay but woke up stiff and sore every morning.

What I didn’t like was when we lost power on our 4th night around 2:30am and I called down to front desk to inquire if it was just our room or the hotel and to make sure it was something serious enough to require eviction, I was told by the front desk staff that the whole street is without power but if I’m scared of the dark I can come down to the lobby and use what little power they have down there in a very snarky manner. I tried to explain I was just calling for information and was hung up on. Other than that altercation our stay was enjoyable

I loved my brief stay at Tru by Hilton in Columbus, Ohio. Check in was super easy and quick. This hotel is not your frou frou hotel of the past, but nice and bright and trendy and fun. Room was kind of small, but that did not matter! Everything was perfect, and I usually find something to complain about. Everywhere you turn, there is something cool you might want for your own home. I loved the shower and bathroom faucet! Everything seems new and functioning perfectly. Parking was free and close to the building. The wi-fi worked great. THERE IS AN AUTOMATIC PANCAKE MACHINE. Yes, wave your hand in front of it, and pancakes come out. What more could you need?

The room was great and king bed comfortable. The breakfast was great and didn't get name of the lady taken care of it, but she was great. The morning clerk to check in and out seemed to either absent or on her phone. Someone had to find her a couple times while I was eating breakfast.
