We could walk to Disneyland and enjoyed having a pool and hot tub

Perfect location for disney

Excellent location, sufficient parking, comfortable pillows, updated looking rooms. Didn't care for the squeaking bed every time I moved, the hair found under my pillow, or the 6a banging and clanking of garbage trucks outside my bedroom on a Saturday morning. Staff was extremely nice though so would consider staying here again.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and we enjoy it every time. It is not the most up to date, but the rooms are nice and the bed comfortable after a full day at Disneyland. We love that it is walking distance to the park. We could also watch the fireworks from our room.

A Classic

This was an amazing stay - they were accomodating of our oversized vehicle. Room was super clean. Loved the laundry facilities. And they were quick to attend to housekeeping needs.

It is so close to Disney and made for a great location! Claudia checked us in and was very helpful with our room situation. She created such a positive experience for us!

Great park hotel

This hotel is great for a Disney trip. You can store bags before check in and check out, and the hotel is very close to the park gates. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly, rooms are clean, and rates are fair.

Excellent for proximity to Disneyland! Friendly staff. No frills, basic room but mostly good for the price, considering you always pay more to get close to the park. A/C was loud but effective!

Perfect stay for a Disneyland trip

Very clean room that had everything we needed and being right across the street from Disney was great! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I loved that the hotel was nice and that my room had a tub; it was also close to my event was close to my event! Thank you!

Noisy at all times of the day and night. Didn’t sleep a wink in three nights. Super convenient to the Parks. Clean room. That’s about it. Spend the extra money and stay at the Disney properties. The cost isn’t much different.

Great location for Disneyland and laundry facilities was an added bonus. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great for couples and families.

We loved the size of our room, we had 4 adults with plenty of room. The fridge was a great size so we could stock it with drinks and you can’t beat the location.

I would Stay here again. It is nicely located close to Disneyland, the parking cost was very reasonable, the staff kind and helpful. Walkable access to stores, food and fun. The room was clean with amenities such as refrigerator and microwave as well as an in room coffee maker.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, so close to Disney. Would recommend for an easy no frills stay.

The kitchen’s stovetop did not work. The kitchen smelled like mildew. The carpet was not vacuumed. The coffee for in-room brewing was sub-par. The room also had a stench to it.

Property was clean and right across the street from Disneyland, extremely convenient.

So so room, excellent location

The main positive of this hotel is the walking distance from our hotel room door to Disneyland property. Also, the bathroom was nice and clean, and there was plenty of counter space to get ready in the morning. As far as the negatives, our air conditioning and heating unit was letting off a horrible smell and we had to turn it off for the weekend. Luckily, it was very chilly outside so we didn’t really need the AC. Also, the blankets on the bed are like a sheet, not a blanket. I get very chilly and I requested extra blankets. The blankets they delivered were super thin and scratchy and unfortunately, I had to stack multiple on top of myself to feel warm in the room. I would say this room is great for proximity. However, it is not very comfortable and it needs updating.

Excellent location!!! We stayed for 6 nights and felt safe and comfortable. Will definitely stay again in the future.

We Plan to Come Back

We got to check-in 30 minutes earlier which was great! Room was clean, bed was on the extra firm side, we had to pay for parking at a discounted rate. There was a convenience store on the property, IHOP, Denny’s, McDonald’s within walking distance. We had no complaints. Note-they offer parking for Disneyland as well.

Nickel and dime

Didn't appreciate paying to park. Then we were hassled for them to park our car for more money.

Loved staying here. Right across from Disney, which was so easy to get to the parks. Very quiet and clean. Bus stop right out front along the route that drops you right at Target. No lamps on the bedside tables was our only complaint, but a minor one. Would stay here again!

Tropicana is a wonderful, clean hotel. It’s a walking distance to Disneyland and McDonald’s is very close for a quick bite to eat. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and it’s been a good experience both times. A few issues are the parking—it’s tough to find a spot and you’ll probably not have a spot close to your room and it makes unpacking and packing up difficult. Also not the biggest fan of the heater/AC unit. The heater smelled funky so we ended up not using it so it was quite cold. Last time we turned on the AC and it felt humid and hard to get the temperature comfortable.

I love staying here when going to Disneyland. It is so close and an easy walk to and from park. The rooms are clean . The beds are comfortable. And hotel is quiet at night. I highly recommend it .

The room was very clean and comfortable. Situated right across from Disney with a 10 minute walk. Only negative was the coffee pot was awful along with the coffee. They desperately need to replace them.

The hotel seemed a little outdated. I did not like the parking situation where you were required to use valet parking if there was not enough stalls when the valet would park your car they park them extremely close.

It was a great stay and close to the Disneyland parks

My first choice for Disneyland

It is what it is. A great, comfortable hotel across the street from Disneyland. Keeping that in mind, Tropicana has been my first choice hotel at Disneyland for 20+ years, and will continue to be.

The staff were eager to assist. The room was clean and very comfortable. Perfect location for walking over to Disneyland.

Front desk staff was excellent! was told that towels and garbage would be done daily but only had service 1 day of our 4. Would stay again though.

Carpets needed cleaning when we arrived otherwise the room was generally clean. A drawer kept coming open. Staff was friendly.

this spot is the best disneyland hotel! i have 2 complaints. no free coffee and no free ice water. a lot of harbour hotels offer that these days. second complaint is the beds! they are hard as a rock. and i like a more firm mattress. these beds litter hurt to lay on your back. i can only sleep on my sides

Good location for travel to SNA, Disneyland, Anaheim Convention center, and morw. Hotel is nothing soecial. Clean and proce is purely due tonDisney proximity. Beds are firm.

The property was close, staff was kind, and it was clean. I didn’t like that it was so expensive even on Expedia. We also heard the garbage trucks very loud each morning.

Nice, clean room. Terrible lighting in room though. No light fixtures, just overhead can lighting. Right across from Disneyland front gate.

Perfect accomodation for our stay at Disneyland! Super quick walk to disneyland each day - and you could easily duck back through the day if needed. The extra pullout bed was great so my kids didnt have to share a bed. Love that the bathroom sink is seperate from the shower / toilet making it quicker to brush teeth in the morning while others used the toilet etc. There is a laundry room which was great to gey a load done - but the dryer was slow to get load dry. We didnt use the pool - it is in the middle of the parking lot so not the best relaxation with car smog around if your wanting to use the pool. We would definitely stay here again if we ever wanted to go to Disneyland again!

We loved our stay! Large clean room, fully appointed kitchen, and fantastic location for our Disneyland visit. Highly recommend!

A wonderful place to stay if you are going to Disneyland/California Adventure. Walk is so easy and quick. A lot of places to eat. Pool was heated and they had a spa.

You get what you pay for with this place. It's an affordable motel that meets your needs and has a super convenient location just across the street from Disneyland. Nothing special but does the job.

Always a good stay.

Check in staff was professional and friendly. We were able to get early check in. The room was clean and comfortable. When ever we come to Disneyland we try to stay at the Tropicana. It’s a quick walk from the motel to the Harbor Blvd main entrance.

Best location to walk to Disneyland! Just across the road from the main entrance...best option with young kids at the end of a long day of fun. Lots of dining options a few doors down too which is handy. Highly recommend!

The hotel was inexpensive but old inside the bathroom tub did not drain Condensation was leaking from the bathroom fan onto the toilet brown mucky yes luckily we had book 2 rooms and we're able to use the other bathroom Definitely will not stay there again the hotel next door is way better we stay there last time much nicer

Right across from Disneyland. Great location! And was safe!

We stayed at the Tropicana Inn and Suites for our recent Disneyland trip. The location was perfect, less than 10 minute walk to the park gates. Beds were comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, mini mart as nice to have. However, we did have a couple issues in our room - water leaking from the bottom of the sink onto the floor and we woke up one morning to find our bathtub full of dirt. We would stay again simply because of the location.

This is basically a motel. The room was very cramped and beds uncomfortable. It was overall clean and friendly staff though but just not a comfortable stay

I think giving this hotel 2 stars is an understatement. They had 5 star service and location.

It is a good property. The room is nice.

The first room we got was on the first floor right off the parking lot and next to the stairs, so it was super loud with the car noise and foot stomping. Moved to the third floor (the front desk person was very nice and accommodating) and it was great! Get a top floor room if you can!

Won’t stay again.

This is a skip. The walls are so thin when my neighbors got up it sounded like they were in our room. If you’re not up at 6 like the other crazy Disney people you will be woken up.

Perfect location for Disneyland

It is what it is: A clean, convenient hotel across the street from Disneyland. I have stayed at many of the hotels in this area and this is always my preferred choice hotel. I have stayed here at least 8-10 times. It offers just what I need: A convenient, clean location that is within walking distance to Disneyland. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Didn't use the pool, as we were in DL all day and night. One neighbor was loud, but that is more the rudeness of them and not a reflection of the hotel in any way. I will be booking here for sure next trip to Disneyland.
