I have written a detailed review for my stay from 14-16 January. The only additional thing I’d mention is that I left some clothes behind on 10 Jan. On enquiring, they had been found and handed in and I was able to collect them when I returned on 14 Jan.

The Trident is situated with a beautiful view over Marine Drive if you choose a sea facing room. It’s one of the key vistas of Mumbai. It’s located right next door to a performing arts venue (the NCPA). Sadly our dates did not coincide with Zubin Mehta’s visit to Mumbai. The restaurants on site are good. It is a bit of a trek to other eateries but taxis from the streets to either side of the hotel are good and very reasonable. I recommend walking down the ramp to get a taxi rather than having them call one up the ramp for you. The Trident is convenient for all sights in South Mumbai - the Chatrapatti Shivaji Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, the Oval Maidan, the upmarket shopping area of Kala Ghoda are all actually within walking distance. All in all, with its excellent service, pool, spa and other facilities the Trident is to be highly recommended.

Located in the heart of Mumbai, proving of a he views. Trident offered us best of the guests services with utmost priority to our comfort. Their staff was attentive, accommodating and helpful to smallest of the needs.

Amazing service and facilities. Very busy so check in took very long but otherwise all very well done. The pillows do need cleaning since two of us did get itchy with the mites. Excellent location and nice rooms.

The concierge service was excellent. They answered all our questions and helped to meet our needs. In particular, Karthik was most amiable and always gave us the best service! The reception desk also did splendid job with our reservations!

The property and staff were very good. However we arranged airport shuttle and no one showed up. The flight was over an hour late but most shuttle services monitored. We arrived at the hotel at 1:00am and our room was not ready.

Compounded Booking Error

Lovely hotel but was not allocated the room I had booked. We were given a city view room not a harbour view. When questioned reception staff told me both rooms the same, insulted my intelligence. Next morning spoke to duty manager, Mr Kanna, who apologised for the error and his staff response. He also provided us with a transfer to the airport by way of compensation, along with a free meal in one of the restaurants which we did not take up as we had other plans.

Nostalgic but needs to modernize

The service was amazing but the room sizes were not that great. Other hotels now have bigger rooms and better and bigger bathrooms, bathtubs etc. even in executive rooms.

An oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle!

This was my second stay in a Trident hotel in Mumbai, and this one didn't disappoint. Everything is considered. The staff go above and beyond to be helpful and it's not overly formal, which I like.

Ask for an early chexkin around 12 p.m. I reached there and waited till 3 p.m at bar then I got a room. 1 hr late than 2 p.m checking time of hotel.

The sea view room on 12th floor was awesome.

The staff were delightful - nothing was too much trouble

The trident is a high end luxurious hotel. The staff in all areas of the hotel are impeccable and of the highest standards. Great value too. Excellent location for shopping at Colaba market. Only issue we had was checking in took a long time. The staff were great but it was clear they were challenged by a newly implemented IT system. The luggage room 30 mins to be sent to our room. The rooms may need some refreshing as areas such as bathroom and switches looking tired and worn. Overall a fabulous hotel.

Staff gave me someone else’s room when I checked in and did not apologise. Apart from that it was a pleasant stay

Awesome experience

Amazing stay!!

The stay at the Trident was amazing. We came here for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint! The room was spacious and clean at all times, the staff were SO friendly and helpful with everything. Especially Ramaiah, Ketaki and Lovesh the housekeeping team who decorated our room with congratulations balloons and even got us a small gift :-) The facilities in the hotel are great, the gym has lots of equipment, the lobby and cocktail bar are great for relaxing or doing work and the breakfast has so many good options! I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay at the Trident. The rooms were immaculate and the service was five star. A special mention to Stefan from the India Jones as the food was spectacular and Stefan went out of the way to make sure that we were looked after on both days of our stay. Stefan made some special dishes for our children who were delighted at the kindness. Stefan and his team are an asset to the Trident. We would highly recommend the Trident and will be back for sure!

This is always a tremendous hotel to stay at, the staff and services are always second to none

No my first time at Trident or at Trident Nariman Point. But the experience this time around was not at all pleasant. TV and did not work for both the days I was there but the kept trying to fix it instead of changing my room. Shower was not working properly but the management did not do anything about it.

We came here to celebrate our daughter’s 5th birthday and the hotel and stuff did not let us down. Exceeded our expectations and made us leave the hotel with a smile. We love Trident Nariman Point and feel it’s the perfect place for families who travel from Abroad to stay and relax. We would keep coming here in the near future. Really great hotel in the heart of Mumbai. The food is insanely overpriced and so are drinks, and the breakfast people forget your order, but that's all really minor for such a fab place.

I was most pleased with the quality of the hotels housekeeping service. Ketaki and Surrey were courteous, prompt, considerate, and very friendly. Guests are most fortunate to have them as their room service.

High quality service, attentive and caring staff who go out of their way to make you feel special. Lovely breakfast in a cozy setting although breakfast area gets super crowded in peak morning hours. Vibrant lobby area ambience with pleasing live music. Would come back here whenever I get a chance.

Welcoming staff, was upgraded to oceanview and given complimentary access to the elite lounge. Very happy with the service.

We had a harbor view room which faced the sunset. There is a wide promenade by the harbor and you may walk or run or just sit and enjoy. Complimentary yoga is offered by the pool at 7am and I enjoyed started my day off with it. The breakfast was complimentary with our room and had all types of offerings, continental and Indian. The staff and servers are abundant and so helpful. Really suggest you try this hotel out!

Great service, beautiful property, staff are very welcoming. Only item that was a bit off was, waiting a considerable amount of time, for the elevators. Also, the bathroom was a bit cramped.
