Unpleasant stay.
I have stayed here many times before and all my stays have been pleasant until my last one. I understand that all guests are there to enjoy themselves but the guests on top of us were very noisy. It sounded like they had a toddler possibly and was running around for hours and hours at a time to the point where it got very annoying. We ended up leaving our room to get away from the pounding noise. We were there for 2 days and this happened both days. Called the front desk and was told that all guests are there to enjoy themselves and that a call to them was all that can be done. There was no follow up or resolution to the situation. I honestly do not know if we we’ll be returning which makes me sad because we really love this place.
Love our stay there. The staff was amazing . We will definitly stay there again
I loved it! Very beautiful place to stay and relax.
Great place
Great time at this hotel in Palm Springs. Loved our room and the area!
The king suite was comfortable and a great size. Pool areas were clean and relaxing.
The staff is amazing. Both myself and the dog felt the love! I will definitely be back.
Chanel was exceptional at check-in and assisted us with our room upgrade with efficiency and a big smile. I will stay here again. Lorie from Canada
I do not consider this hotel an Autograph Collection , it is not what I expected . It like a motel not even a Hotel .
Property is great. Could use a little more pool service.
Area around stairs and door had large puddles after raining.
Memorable stay!
Everyone from Danielle to Ricardo to the valet made our stay at Triada memorable. We only had one night there..much to our dismay! The room was large and it was so very convenient having a full kitchen available to us. We loved the balcony and the beds were super comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
The hotel is quite nice, room was comfy and cute. The area is great, downtown adjacent means walking to cool restaurants is a breeze.
Our first Palm Springs visit!
This was our first visit to Palm Springs and we were able to book the last room available. Although it was a quick trip, this small but tranquil hotel checked off all the “boxes” for our group of four. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, the hotel modeled like a Spanish villa, the suite surpassed our expectations and the pool/bar was a perfectly quaint oasis.
The property is cute but, it’s older and very beat up. Pool chairs stained and ripped up, the grounds are not kept up the grass is brown and patchy. Not what any of the other Autograph hotels experiences have been. It seemed very out of date and not up to the par with the other places. I will not stay here again. However the staff were all very nice and very helpful.
Perfect getaway! Love the hacienda feel. The cleanliness was amazing!
This property was beautiful! I am so glad I came across this hotel for a quick weekend getaway. The concierge, house keeping and valet were all so kind and attentive. It made me feel like I escaped to a place that wasn’t in California.
Toilet wasn't flushing correctly. Got push back when I said I paid for breakfast when I made reservation, had to show them my receipt.
We had a short stay but cannot wait to come back to stay a little longer! Beautiful rooms!
I’ve stayed here two times. Both have been wonderful. This is a romantic, boutique style hotel with great service. The valet and front desk were great. Rooms are new and clean. The pools and ambience are great. You can really take the desert in and relax among the palm trees and beautiful architecture. The pools provide great views of the mountains and you can hear very pleasant music playing in the background. 10/10 for me. I’ll be back again soon. Thank you for a romantic getaway!
Perfect!
This place was perfect! Clean and cozy loved it!
Great place for a getaway!!
This was a very nice property with friendly and helpful staff. Lots of dining options within walking distance. We had a great time there!
Beautiful architectural buildings and grounds. Unfortunate that the property did not have guest parking and valet parking was a bit pricey.
Dogs friendly
Beautiful Palm Springs Hotel
Beautiful hotel with relaxed vibe. The staff made it extra special.
The property is lovely and I understand it is an older, remodeled property so its not perfect. Our room was lovely. The vibe is great, the service is great. We were fortunate to have double doors to a patio. The door frame was broken and didn't quite close all the way. It locked but the door jamb was barely on the door. The area felt safe and I loved the patio. The kitchen is great but has extremely limited dishware/cookware so be prepared if you are planning on serious cooking. Huge fridge and the plan is to eat outside, no indoor table, not even a small side table. The shower. Again, I understand the uniqueness of the property but if you really like your showers.. then this isn't your place. It took approx. 10 minutes of running the shower to get hot water? And the water needs to be turned on while you are in the shower so, its either really messy or really cold. Keep in mind that rooms are likely not all the same. Some may have great showers? The property was very quiet and peaceful. The bedding is great, except for the pillows that need replacing badly. I drove to Target to get a new pillow. With all that said, it really is a lovely space. You don't need to valet, you can park down the block easily.
Rooms looked great in pictures, but not so good in person. The hot tub was closed entire trip which was very disappointing. The staff was friendly and location was great but for the price we expected more.
Loved the spaces and the fireplaces!
I loved this hotel! It is charming in every way, the staff was wonderful, the location was perfect, we look forward to returning!
Very quaint and tastefully maintained place. Not the regular big box Marriott property which is a nice change. Conveniently located to walk the business district and eateries. Highly recommend the place!!
MEH - Not Bad…
This hotel is fine. I wasn’t blown away but it’s fine. Could definitely use a remodel/upgrade in appliances etc
Everything is fine, except the valet parking is the only option.
This hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade and remodel. The jacuzzi wasn't working and was a really weird green color (this also was not disclosed when booking, so the staff did comp out the pet fee). The room itself was for handicapped people, which is fine, except for the fact that every time we showered, water got all over the floor and completely soaked anything in the vicinity. Whoever did the floor did not slope it correctly. Instead of things being fixed (scrapes, holes, etc.) they were sloppily patched. I would expect this at a 2-3 star hotel, not an Autogtaph hotel, which is supposed to be more upscale. The pool was not heated. The only option for parking is valet, which will cost $27 a day plus a tip each time they bring your car. There are no self-park options, even though on the website, it says that there are, so that was an unexpected cost. The food left a lot to be desired, as did the drinks. Overall, the staff was very nice and helpful, but because the facilities are not very clean (and jacuzzi not working), as well as a subpar room, I would not stay here again.
Special shout out to Channel and Kevin for their special care and over the top service Scott and Gilbert were awesome too
Beautifully laid out. The rooms are lovely and the entire hotel has a gorgeous Spanish decor. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I liked my stay very much.
We had a wonderful time at this property. The staff were really great and helpful. Loved the pools and the bed was soo comfy. We will definitely come back soon.
Loved it. I can’t wait to go back.
Very peaceful.
The hot tub was out of service at the aecond pool area (not able to use it) 😔😟
I really loved my stay. I really like the welcoming of the hotel. It didn’t feel like a hotel. I also loved that the pool is open until late. I will definitely be coming back :D
😀
Nice boutique hotel, quiet and clean during my stay, no parking, if you drive, valet is the only option.
Very beautiful property. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I’d suggest better communication between Expedia and the hotel to ensure the reservation details are communicated properly. The staff made up for the lack of communication by comping our meal which was very nice.
The hotel was not very clean. We had
The stuff we’re rude , and they discriminate me
Charming and wonderful!
From start to finish, a great experience. Pool bar was a little retreat, bartender was all personality and made fabulous drinks. Ask for his mojito, it won’t disappoint. Could his name have been Jeremiah?
Nice, quiet and comfy. You can walk to downtown. Nice rooms but dark. Noisy... piped in music near the pool is irritating if your room is near the pool. Could hear "everything" from the room above me. No self-parking. The lack of a formal restaurant is odd.
It was not worth the daily rate paid for such a small room. All it really had was the pool. It was not a resort at all.
Bad reviews overblown
I agree with many of the comments that this is not worthy of 5 stars or Marriot Autograph. But it’s still a very nice hotel. Overpriced to be certain but a unique PS experience we really enjoyed overall. Kevin the valet steals the show. Hotel is valet only but it’s super easy. Front desk staff was muted. Got it done but very little personality. Pools are nice and it’s a quaint, very Palm Springs experience. Very convenient food service and good food! Service spotty and our lunch by the pool took an hour each of our three days to arrive. Once we knew it, we planned around it. Towels, showers, tile, toilet, furniture and carpet are all old and in need of TLC. Our towels were super old and had yellow hue. Shower tile and shower head old as dirt. Bathroom did not live up at all. I The location is great. Can walk to pretty much anything downtown PS has to offer. Good hotel. Not great hotel. If it was $450 instead of $850 it would be more in line. We enjoyed our stay. For the right price, I would stay here again.
LOVED the property!!! Just wish the jacuzzi was open - totally understand that is beyond the control of the hotel. The staff are amazing and friendly! Such a perfect vibe!
The whole ambiance of the place was just so cozy, they had classic jazz playing near the rooms and the rooms themselves were very nice and clean we very much enjoyed our stay and would book again
I was very disappointed with the state of the property and rooms. It should not be a 4 star hotel. It’s very outdated with lots of issues in the room I stayed in. The furniture is ripped and walls are damaged, plus the heater wasn’t working and there was no robe or water in the room unlike it was advertised on the website.
Disappointed that the pools weren’t heated and the jacuzzi was out of service. Although the room was very nice it needed a mirror with a vanity table near the window for natural light. The room needed a full length mirror too.
The property was nice but the rooms were run down and in need of renovation.
Be careful not to get a room on the bottom level. If somebody is staying above you it sounds like they’re going to fall through the ceiling when they walk around their room. The rooms with the kitchen are the nicest rooms. The kitchens are a nice size for a hotel room and clean. Again a warning of noise. If you have this room and you have somebody staying in the adjoining room you were going to hear everything they are saying through the door. Overall, the staff was extremely nice and the service was wonderful. I’ve stayed in four seasons resorts and I would say the stuff is nicer and more attentive. The property could definitely could use upgrading. The mid century style is charming but lacks comfort and aesthetic appeal with this property.
Beautiful property, excellent big room and no wait breakfast with good food choices and pleasant staff.
Had a nice stay, room had scuffs on the walls, and looked like it needed a paint job. Pool was nice, however the 50s music got old really quick- maybe play a mix of all music or top 40. Front desk staff was helpful. Wish the restaurant had more food options & wish that the outdoor bar was open.
The Triada is a lovely property with firm, comfortable beds, friendly staff and a lovely, safe location. Many restaurants nearby including my favorite, John’s, which is just far enough to stimulate your appetite. Or dine in. Just as lovely. A very nice stay.
Good location and great staff, just not enough staff. If your looking for a cool pool scene, this is not the place. Very clean room.
Horrified at this property. No idea how it is part of the Marriott Bonvoy Autograph Collection. The entire hotel smells and is run-down. I paid 4 star prices for a roadside motel. Photos of the property and hotel room are deceiving. Room was dingy with carpet and furniture that looks like it was purchased at a flea market. The bathroom smelled like sulphur and had terrible grout. The pool furniture was cheap. Don't recommend anyone to stay here.
Two star at best.
Molded bathrooms, the bathroom floor and walls shake when you turn on the fan, tile around the toilet had no color where it was bleached. Furnishings were chipped paint, old and dirty. The carpet was black in walkways and a white pattern in non traffic areas- it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. My socks were so dirty I threw them out after walking in the room for one night. The property was cute and the bed comfortable. The Valet guy was very nice. Overall this did not live up to a Marriott. I would say this is a two star hotel at best. No elevator to bring bags to second floor- you have to carry them upstairs yourself. I would not stay here again.
Relaxing Retreat
The hotel and hotel staff were accommodating and friendly. I had a pleasure staying here and if you’re looking for a nice, relaxing and quiet stay, look no more. You get the ease of a great hotel with the convenience of an easy walk to downtown Palm Springs to wine and dine.
The location was great.
Since property is dog friendly and we paid for our dog’s stay, maybe provide doggie bags near grassy area.
We left early. Not cute! Avoid this place!
Bottom line: Don't go here. It looks cutesy online, but it's not! When we walked into the lobby, my heart sank and I knew it wasn't going to be as nice as the pictures. Waited a half hour to check in. When we got to our room, the TV wasn't working and the bathroom felt like a place I should wear flip flops in (damp, peeling paint, gross). In the morning I spoke to the manager, who offered to put us in a similar room once it was clean. He says: "it's a nicer room, but I won't charge you more..." After a few hours of waiting (and a sub-par breakfast), we get into this "nicer room" and it's dark, small, odd, and doesn't have a balcony like our other room did. So now I am paying the same price for this crappy room?! It was Labor Day weekend, so I expected other guests, but I felt trapped and the pools were tiny. Plus it's right by the road. I felt like I was a character in a twisted TV show (White Lotus on HBO Max, to be specific)... So I mention the "nicer room" isn't so nice. I ask for some drink coupons and am handed two ten-dollar vouchers (sad). Then we're asked if we want to move back to our original room. Yes, I definitely want to pay $450 a night for a room with a busted TV and a sketchy bathroom! We decided to leave after one night. We went and stayed somewhere else, and I am so glad we did! I asked for a receipt on the way out. Receipt wasn't itemized--never seen that before. I lost $500 and an entire day of my vacation. I wrote this review so you don't have to!
Check-in experience was horrible. My check-in was placed on hold while the hotel clerk attended to a guest who owed money and allegedly had his belongings held by the hotel. Police had been called. The clerk had his cell on speaker with management in a loud, unprofessional shouting match with the guest, full of profanity. This was followed by a physical scuffle between the clerk and guest. NEVER AGAIN!
Didnt like that they didn’t hVe a self-park option. Had to use their expensive Valet
We enjoyed the two pools, and that it was kid-friendly and comfortable!
A beautiful place to stay and relax! The pools weren’t too crowded and all the staff were super friendly!
Birthday relaxation
My husband and I drove to Palms Springs for a few days of relaxation. We loved the boutique style intimate feel of Triada Hotel. The king size bed was so comfy. I would have loved a small bed for my little dog. But he did enjoy his hotel treats. The full size roomy kitchen was great but needed more cooking utensils (spatula, regular size cooking skillet) and a baking sheet for baking breakfast biscuits. The balcony with furniture was the perfect place for breakfast for two. We loved the two pools although it was so hot we didn’t spend too much time sitting at the pool. Luke had great suggestions for dinner and gave us a map with perfect directions. Perhaps a brochure in the room with things to do in Palm Springs would have been very helpful. We enjoyed our stey.
Great Escape!
This hotel is great! It’s quiet and well-kept, with Spanish tile and architecture which is a nice change from the other hotels in PS. The room was spacious and stayed cool (it was 113 outside), the bed was firm and comfortable. Plenty of amenities in the bathroom and a Keurig machine for morning coffee. The staff was friendly. No complaints here! 😁
The room was so nice! The bed was so comfy! And we loved all the staff. Everyone all weekend was so nice. Both bar tenders we had at the pool area was amazing and gave great service to us all weekend!!! Would definitely stay here again.
No parking! Valet Only!
Our first day there was ok, the room they provided us had a strong smell of sewage and the AC vent in the bathroom was leaking. When we let the valet guy know he quickly called the front office and they had house keeping come and check it out. The house keeping employees swore it didn’t smell like sewage and acted like we were crazy but then two other employees came and smelled and agreed with me. They sprayed deodorizing spray and offered us another room for the rest of our stay. It was waaay better! They apologized for the inconvenience and were very accommodating! It is a very quiet location and very close to the downtown area which we loved. One of the downfalls of this location is that there is valet parking ONLY! So keep that into consideration that it is an added expense to your trip. It is 23.50 a day!
We liked the building although the rooms and bathrooms are tiny. We also liked the proximity to the downtown. We didn’t like the small pools, the restaurant was almost non-existent ( only served breakfast and lunch) but few available tables. The food options were also limited. They have a pool bar that is open until 8 but they don’t serve any food after 4pm. We didn’t like the forced valet parking (they parked the car right next to our room so we can do it ourselves). The service was unfriendly and indifferent.
Boutique vibe with luxury hotel service from Marriot. Pool, pool bar, and bartender set the tone for a relaxing, but fun vibe.
Nice. Clean. Needs a bit updating in the rooms, overall this is a good place to stay.
Bad service
Very disappointed Once I checked in after already pay up front on hotels.com they asked for my credit card and charged me twice saying their system wasn’t working, long story short story I was charged 3 times total, and they were arguing with me that it was once till I pulled my bank statement. Also the hotel offers a jacuzzi which I needed for my bad back and that’s the reason I was looking for at the spa and the jacuzzi wasn’t working. They did nothing to make up their mistake of charging me 3 times. And I’m still hoping that the charge will be back on my bank within 3 business day, otherwise I’m gonna have to be on the phone arguing with them again. This situation is very frustrating when you just looking to have a relaxing time in palms springs and not be over charged and not get what you pay for. Also the queen bed is extremely small, no mirrors in the room. The hotel is interesting decor and seems very nice from the website, but honestly is kind of a rundown. Next door we got the Colony witch was 100 dollars more, but superb beyond expectations. The hosts got us free champagne, we enjoy the jacuzzi till 4am as their spa is open 24/7. We don’t recommend the Tria for its price at all. A little bit more you get a much better historical experience and excellence service next door. This place is the same as a Vagabond
Location
Very central and convenient location. Nice ambiance within the hotel, felt like a slice of old Hollywood. Not too big so never felt crowded.
Loved the ambiance and location. Close to downtown but not right in it - a pleasant stroll. The breakfast poolside was delicious.First time visiting Palm Springs. Will be back.
Cute hotel, but probably wouldn't return. We come to Palm Springs often and have had better experiences at other hotels. The service and other factors just didn't really impress us.
This boutique, Spanish style hotel was very unique. I really liked the interesting first and second floor rooms. There are two pools (one salt water, one fresh water) that are supposed to be heated but the fresh water pool was much too cold for swimming. This hotel is a few blocks away from the bustling city center. Dining was closed due to COVID but the staff were nice and helpful with restaurant recommendations.
Nice quaint hotel with 2 pools; however, only 1 is heated and jacuzzi was not working. Due to Covid, no housekeeping. And no food on the premises during the week. Not all guests wore masks despite signs stating it was required.
This property is not a four star property. The physical property needs maintenance (eg, paint, repairs, etc.) & there are no services available (eg, no bar, no food or coffee in the morning). The valet staff were friendly & helpful but the front desk staff were not. Our room wasn’t ready at check in time on a Sunday. I would not stay here again.
Rooms not ready at check-in
We usually love the triada but this time was very disappointing. We drove 4 hours for our favorite restaurant. Dinner reservations at 6pm and our room was not ready until 6:30pm. Over two hours past the check-in time! We had our dog with us so we couldn’t just leave him in the car. The front desk kept telling us 30 minutes. Every time we’d come check on the status they’d say another 30 minutes. This went on for 2 hours! We ended up losing our dinner reservation. Sadly, this was an expensive trip WASTED :-(
Overall our stay was ok. Room was in clean condition but the king size bed we thought we would get was maybe a queen at largest. The walls are super thin and we had very loud neighbors.
It was an beautiful historic place. Who know that Elizabeth Taylor used to stay there/
Property is clean and upscale. Staff is friendly! Walking distance to tons of good eateries!
Beautiful hotel. We were extremely impressed with our room and the staff. We loved being so close to downtown and being within walking distance to bars/restaurants.
The property was very disappointing. Our first floor room was extremely loud. We could hear everything people around us said and had no privacy with people walking by. Also our room had ants and a very loud air conditioner. We had to cut our trip short because it was so uncomfortable.
Poorly equiped
Room was old and not well stocked at all, had to call housekeeping 3 different times the first night. Coffee maker but no mugs. No glasses. No blankets or pillows for the pullout couch. No back cushions on the couch!
Stayed in room 104 was a nice room but all night long upstairs customer above us was constantly walking back-and-forth and the floors are really thin and loud so was kinda hard to sleep but the hotel workers were really professional and great overall
Jessica was working the front desk when We checked into our hotel room and she was so sweet and really made us feel special. The property itself was beautiful, our room was magical overlooking the pool. It had vaulted ceilings and no neighbors, what a dream. I would love to stay there again, maybe this next time to spring for a casitas.
the AC in my room was outdated and extremely loud. Difficult to sleep through.
Noisy, disappointing hotel
We were looking forward to a quiet night in a nice hotel with breakfast in bed. Instead we ended up with very loud air conditioner, paper-thin ceiling and walls and no room service. We were woken up early by people stomping around upstairs (who know one could walk around a small hotel room that much), banging, and after a while, loud vacuuming. The hotel did not have room service. This was not the four-star hotel it purported to be.
Comfortable stay
Check in was quick and easy, staff is nice and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The pools are on the smaller side but were clean. The only complaint we had is that we were on the first floor and you can here and feel every step he people take in the room above you.
Everyone was super nice. Very nice place to stay. Especially Gilbert the bar tender awesome person. Totally coming back.
We absolutely loved our stay! Very comfortable, cozy and lots of friendly guests!. We were short on towels at the pool, but maybe people took them to their rooms? we had to ask for towels when we got out. Other than that our stay was awesome and we most definitely will return 😎
Excellent choice for expensive Palm Springs. Boutique hotel recently renovated. In enviable location close to restaurants and downtown. Great staff and facilities. Highly recommended!
