A really friendly, well located hotel, in easy walking distance for the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon etc and longer walk or metro to the Vatican. Simple but good breakfast to set us up for the day, and comfortable rooms. A bit of traffic noise but we were too tired from our busy days for it to bother us. The hotel were super helpful on arrival as we ended up being after reception had closed but they left a key securely and gave us clear details of how to get in.
Staff was excellent. All sites we wanted to see were in walkable distance.
Clean hotel with nice room/bed configurations for large families. The hotel is centrally located. We all really enjoyed the breakfast options and the kitchen staff went above and beyond in their service.
Amazing holiday in Rome.
Enjoyed a lovely holiday at Trevi Palace Hotel. The hotel was everything that we wished for; central location within walking distance to all the major landmarks, comfortable clean bedrooms which were so quiet and peaceful. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who were able to provide all the info that we requested. Delicious, fresh breakfast. Would highly recommend.
Quiet and lovely place
Quiet at night. Easy walk to Trevi Fountain area. Absolutely would recommend this lovely place.
I was concerned about my room being on the annex building because people complained about noise and trash cans, but it worked out perfectly. The building was a few steps from the hotel, had its own entrance, and access was very convenient. It felt like entering your own apartment. There’s no elevator but the stairs are wide and the rooms are on the second floor - so one set of stairs (not a big deal). Location is perfect. Bus stop around the corner, ice cream shop, coffee bar, and other convenience stores a few steps away. The view from our room was amazing. Our room had two windows that opened to the street. It is a transited street, so there’s a bit of noise during the day, but it’s very quiet at night. The room itself was clean, comfortable. It even had a kitchenette with a mini fridge. Bathroom was big with walk-in shower. The second floor of the annex building belongs to the hotel, so it’s separate from the tenants. In fact, you hardly see them. In the morning, there’s a station with pastries and coffee for guests and a courtyard where you could sit down and eat if you wished. Breakfast is served at the hotel for a fee. Overall, a great experience and would definitely stay here again when in Rome. Location is perfect, we walked to Termini, the Monti neighborhood, Trevi fountain, Pantheon and coliseum from here. Special thanks to the ladies at the front desk, who were very helpful with checking us in and provided us with recommendations on where to go eat, etc. 💚Roma
Very friendly staff and the room was great for the 5 of us. So close to everything. The art on the walls is amazing too.
Excellent
Trevi Palace Hotel review
We stayed for 6 nights in this hotel. The hotel was recently redone and everything looked new. Our room was very spacious for our family of five. However, it was oddly decorated. It had a queen bed. And four single temporary beds. There was a large soaking tub at one end of the room. There were three book stands on the sides of the bed. There was a mini refrigerator, which was stocked with things to buy. There was nowhere else to sit in the room. There were no chairs. The bathroom was nice and comfortable. Plenty of space. The shower was nice too. If they only put a few chairs in the room that would’ve been nice considering the size of the room. There was no desk to work at. There was Wi-Fi connection. There was a closet for your clothes. They served all you can eat breakfast for €15 a person. It was a 15 minute walk to the Trevi fountain. On the last day, we learned that there were bakeries and cafés in the opposite direction we walked every day. That would’ve been nice to know.
Weird setup…bathtub in the middle of the room. Inconsistent hot water. Incredibly noisy, both outside and in the walls. Towels are rationed. In our five night stay they never changed the sheets. Only one key that is used for outer and inner doors and elevator. Barely made check in because of flight delay; no one there after 8:00.
Location is perfectly centered to every attractions
The staff were so helpful and friendly and our family-room was generously sized with a very nicely updated bathroom. We were within easy walking distance to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, along with some great restaurants and gelato places. Overall, i would definitely recommend. My only caveat is that it there is a lot of traffic noise, though the windows did a decent job of blocking out some of it.
Super friendly check in and staff. Wonderful breakfast and location.
We loved the hotel overall but the separate entrance for the very small elevator was inconvenient.
nothing
Great location and great staff. The breakfast is simple but good and worth it. The rooms I stayed in had two showers, which I had never seen before, but useful as it pertains to getting ready and getting out in the morning. I'd definitely stay there again.
When booking somewhere to stay in Rome this place jumped out the most. I loved the corridor they have where you can sit and chill after a day of sight seeing. You don't feel like you're forced to sit in your room like most hotels. The service from reception to cleaners was amazing. They were more than happy to help when asking for places to visit. The hotel was situated to quite a few places that are big tourist hotspots so it was easier to walk to them than get a taxi or bus. When I go go back to Rome this will be the place I book again.
Staff were friendly, accomodating & so helpful. Great location with spacious rooms. Fabulous shower!
Overall the place is not bad to stay. The gentleman and front desk lady were nice ( didn’t get their name). Except toilet papers here is very limited. Sorry the place needs to work on this.
Good location. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
The people who work at this property are awesome! We had such tremendous service.
Great location
Our stay at the Trevi Palace Hotel was wonderful. From arrival to departure the staff was friendly, helpful and more. The hotel itself as well as the annex building are very nice, comfortable, quiet and clean. The neighbourhood is nice and calm, and the perfect place to wake up in the morning, grab a quick coffee and then head down to the hopping spots. Would stay here again anytime. Thank you Trevi Palace Hotel!
Amazing service in a little boutique hotel which is central to everything. I will definitely stay here again
All the staff were always available and caring. Safe and clean place
Perfect location!!
Location is good
I enjoyed a 3 night stay at this hotel. Check-in was excellent, early baggage drop was excellent, breakfast was excellent, front desk service was excellent. The rooms are small but clean and up to date. It would have been nice to have an English TV channel available but “when in Rome”!
Traffic noise was horrible.
Staff were lovely and super helpful. Room was nice, beds were great and bathroom generous in size. Windows has excellent sound proofing to the street noise, but door didn’t so lots of noise from reception drifted upstairs as well as people in the corridor.
Martino and the other staff were extremely kind and helpful! The area was clean and safe. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Convenient property off the main Blvd. Walkable to many attractions however there was a lot of city construction for the Rome Jubilee starting Dec. 2024 and lasting for 1 year. Sadly, we will not return to Rome. Too big, too dirty, too many people.
The staff were very nice and helpful. Walkable distance to everything. That is what you are paying for. If you book ahead and get the room for around 100euros a night that is just right for room. Prices rise as it gets closer and if you pay more then it’s not worth it. Can hear everyone eating breakfast from room. Cars going by gets noisy. AC is barely able to keep up and you will need it. Bed is hard. But a 3 star hotel is a 3 star hotel.

The hotel was perfect all the staff went that extra mile to make sure you were happy with everything nothing to much trouble would highly recommend
Great location, friendly staff, nice room, only complaint was that the beautiful bathtub in the room was not working properly. Other than that, we had a great stay. We especially loved the breakfast and coffee in the mornings.
Wonderful stay!
We had an amazing stay. The room was beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Perfect for an overnight in Rome. Strange layout but it was clean and comfortable. We were able to arrange transportation to where we needed to go through the hotel and interactions with all staff were pleasant. Waited about 10 or so mins to have someone greet us for check in but they’re a small hotel and I assume only one person working must have been bringing others to their room. They kept our bags for us while we enjoyed some time in Rome after checkout too. Would stay again!
The annex building does not have someone at the front desk and the rooms have no sunlight at all. To get to the room you have to walk through an entrance that is also used for storing trash from the restaurant next door.
Just the paths outside really, they need re doing here and there, to many holes, and bits of path sunken. Other than that it was excellent.
Enjoyed our stay! The desk staff were very helpful and attentive during our stay. we arrived a few hours early and they let us keep our suitcases there while we explored and they finished cleaning our room for check in. The hotel room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is close to the coliseum and Roman forum and other attractions like Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and Pantheon are all doable walking. Ubers and taxis were regularly available and the bus stop is right there also. A great gelato place called “Gelatist” was on the corner close by and several good restaurants on side streets walking towards Coliseum. We had an awesome time in Rome and this hotel was very pleasant.
The staff were very welcoming. A great place to stay
Fabulous location, and wonderful team.
A gem of a hotel. Very close to Trevi Fountain, or opposite direction you get to The Colloseum in 10 minutes. Very friendly team working at the hotel, and we loved the experience of staying here.
The hotel was average. Family of 5. Bathroom was a great size. Lots of space. The bath tub in the middle of the room was quite weird and useless. A/C wasn’t strong enough for hot summer days. We were told to use back entrance very tiny evaluator to get in and out after 8pm. Staircase to front entrance was all glass. Definitely not built for women wearing skirts. The great thing was hote was Center of everything. 20-25 min walk max to all sites.
Great location & friendly staff.
This hotel was super close to all the main attractions. My husband & I loved it ! Super clean , and comfortable
I would fix it up more and fix the air conditioning system it wasn’t good
Everything was great, and the front reception is very helpful and answering any of her questions providing places for dinner
Great location easy to walk to sites. Room had one a/c for 2 rooms which couldn’t keep up, so they had to bring a fan
Amazing location. Can walk to most of the highlights. Wonderful staff spacious room for our family of 5
Mia, Martino, Daniella, and cleaning staff were fabulous.
Excellent hotel would visit again.
Danielle, Martino and Mia were excellent at the front desk. They were extremely helpful in helping us navigate around Rome for our first time The breakfasts were a pleasant surprise and one of the best that I have had in all my years travelling.
The location of hotel was good. It was close to Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, and other locations. The staff was helpful and property was clean. We enjoyed the room which was more like a small apartment. The one criticism was the internet was very slow.
Very nice service, helpful with directions around Rome. Room was clean and perfect for family of four.
The hotel was in a perfect location close to many of the major attractions and dining. We got the triple room and it was spacious and very clean. Would stay again here in the future!
Loved the location
Great place to stay
We loved our stay at Trevi Palace. It is so close to all the sights - easy walking to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum & Roman Forum. Breakfast was good - traditional continental breakfast, you can also get scrambled eggs or an omelet. Staff very helpful and can book tours. They arranged a car to pick us up at the airport and bring us to the hotel. If we get to Rome again, we will certainly stay at Trevi Palace again.
Great hotel with family units for 4 comfotably
We really enjoyed this hotel and with two grown boys, the family unit was worth it.
Great location
Great location within walking distance of many key travel landmarks. Hotel had AC and was comfortable.
This hotel was close to the Trevi Fountain, about 125 meters. Lots of restaurants, shops and walkable attractions. It’s the convenient place to stay and rest from all the walking around you will be doing when visiting Rome. I highly recommend this place.
Great size room, comfy beds, friendly staff
Great hotel. Family trip. Great size room, Comfy beds, friendly and helpful service. Great location. Would go back.
Daniela and all staff was extremely helpful! Close to the President’s house so very safe!!! Rained one day and was short on an umbrella and the cleaning staff jumped in and got me an umbrella without even asking!!! So sweet!!! Would definitely stay again.
Need chairs for balcony, more space to put luggage. Overall, nice property but too much money for what you get.
The hotel was nice and clean. The room was comfortable. The staff here is what really made it! Everyone was very kind and accommodating!
The property was a great location! Staff friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. My only complaint would be that there is no elevator and we had to take luggage up two flights of stairs to our room.
I reserved a room in a trevi palace hotel , but when we arrived they showed us another property We did not understand this situation, and did not like this things. We went to another building with other name. If I reserved in one place I want to use it. I dislike this rare issue.
Good experience and convenient location for walking to most of the central Rome attractions.
Overall the hotel is great. Staff is very nice and room is cleaned well.
Very close to train station, restaurants, shopping and attractions. Staff is very professional and accommodations are comfortable.
Very clean staff was outstanding rooms were small not walking distance from hotel to some sites it was a hike lol not what I was expecting but I have plantar fasciitis right before going. The train station was walkable and very helpful for the Vatican. Taxis were my other option but not all were appreciating of your business. Shame
Rome trip
Spacious and very clean. The breakfast area had a great balcony/courtyard area.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was available breakfast in the lounge area but not real restaurant.
Staff were extremely friendly and warm. The only downside is the room is in the building across and no elevator. The bed was very comfortable though and I slept very well despite the room being in a busy street.
The street noise was very loud almost all night and the a/c did not work But the location was good walking distance to almost all major sights
Front desk person was so rude!
Spacious, quiet room in a separate building. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Great location!
Nice and comfortable hotel in the middle of Rome. Within walking distance to many attractions. Very friendly staff.
Great hotel, great location.
Excellent location but bring your own coffee :-)
Everyone at the front desk was super helpful and kind. The location was wonderful and the service was wonderful. They really took great care of us, and that really made our trip special. We would stay here again.
Close to a lot of tourist attractions. Family room held are family of four which was nice to not need 2 rooms for a change.
Trevi Palace Hotel was an excellent stay and I would highly recommend it. Walking distance to many sights.
The rooms are quite comfortable. It is located in easy walking access to restaurants and sites. The desk staff (especially Daniella) were exceptional. They gave great recommendations and directions.
It was great
Good hotel in a good location to all amenities including walking distance to the local tourist attractions would recommend, quiet hotel with amazing beds that rested those aching legs
Perfectly nice hotel
It is a perfectly nice hotel in a convenient location next to a major bus route. Staff were always friendly and spoke very good english. The reception is not attended 24/7, which results in some minor inconveniences.
Rooms are small, with poorly laid out bathrooms. Breakfast is modest, but gets the job done. Our room had a strange odor, possibly mold. But as 3-star hotels in Rome go, it wasn’t too bad!
Good
Stay was good but the bed was not as soft as I like and the pillows were flat
The hotel is conveniently located walking distance from the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and a myriad of restaurants bars etc. Mia and the staff at reception were super friendly and most importantly very helpful. The room was as described. We are a family of 5 and needed a room for a quick one night stop over and this fit the bill perfectly. Obviously if staying more than one night then this room would be too small, but for one night it was exactly what we needed.
Poor service overall
The shower in the room had absolute no pressure. It was only a trickle. When we asked for it to be fixed, nothing was done. We asked three times for it to be fixed and were placated with words and no actions. This was over a three day period - we basically couldn’t shower for four days and they did not try to make our experience better in any way. Very disappointing experience.
Perfect low key traveler’s hotel. Great location. Wonderful staff.
Great location, nice staff, walkable
Hotel was ok, but the room does not have hot water. We talk to the personnel and they don’t do nothing about it. A/C was always on heat mode and we talk to them and they do nothing about it. If was hard to fall sleep because if we open the windows, outside was very noisy. The positive thing was the breakfast and the location.
Staff was fantastic and location can’t be beat. Building layout is a little wonky, but overall was charming and unique. Can’t wait to come back!
The Staff on arrival was amazing - thank you to the lady on Reception on Friday Morning she was incredible and gave us some great advice on what to look out for and how to get around. - Nice Room - great location and reasonably priced. Will definately be going back
