Terrible customer service
We were a party of three, one of which was my husbands 80 year old mother. We booked this hotel as it states one king bed and one single bed in the room. We were shown to our room with one king bed and were told we could all fit in the king. I returned to reception with my documents showing that I reserved a room with 1 king and 1 single and was informed they would provide a matresss for the floor. This is not what I had reserved on Expedia and the reception told me they have no such rooms, only rooms with a king or a room with two singles. I told the reception that I would be making a Expedia review, in which reception then called my husband in the room to ask him to not have me make such a review. We were leaving for the airport at 4am the next morning and requested if they could order a taxi. The same man at reception told my husband that the 2km drive would cost 1500 rupees! The reception then called shortly thereafter and informed me that he was done for the night at 11pm and was requesting the 1500 ruppes now. I enquired why I was not paying the driver directly and eventually he said I could. What a scam this hotel is. I get that tourists are overcharged in India, but this hotel was to the extreme. Stay Away!!!! It’s also down at the end of a very dingy road, with an abandoned car, empty lots, barbed wire etc. There are better places to stay in the area.
