Very Comfortable

This hotel was much nicer than I expected. Lots of nearby restaurants and convenient to cruise pier.

Room had a couple of issues but as a budget hotel it was fine

It’s a good place to stay near the viaduct. Nice, helpful reception and room was spacious and clean and a decent range of amenities. The only thing that might put me off staying again was the building works directly opposite. Pneumatic drill started at 7am and they’re on it until evening.

The hotel is well located for sightseeing, restaurants and shopping. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Very clean and comfortable in a good location

Great place to stay parking simple and rooms are perfect for what we needed many food choices and a food mart next door. Simple check in and out will definitely be back.

Most comfortable beds BY far from our entire 3 weeks in NZ! Great location close to the water. Definitely grab breakfast/coffee at the tuck shop!

Great location for the night, room was quiet small but had everything we needed

At the time of our stay they were experiencing a cyber incident meaning we had no self access to our rooms and so had to be escorted by staff everytime we returned, inconvenient but the staff were great. There was no roomservice

Stayed for 2 nights. Did not offer any housekeeping unless call to request.

Excellent in all areas to stay over. It is amazing with services provided that are super easy and convenience from early baggage’s check in/check out after check out. Market and restaurants are right next door or nearby. Everything is so smooth and quickly handled even during busy hours. Thank you !!!

We had a wonderful time. The hotel was clean and modern, the rooms were neat and tidy with a great mattress and shower. Nicole on reception and Raj the manager were very welcoming and hospitable. We will definitely be returning.

Enjoyed our stay and having the coffee shop downstairs was a bonus.

Ideally located to take advantage of the water front of Auckland. Delightful!

We’ve stayed here a few times now and the staff and hotel have always been great - never any complaints. Only issue this time around is that the shower/toilet had a very musty sewer smell. The staff didn’t seem overly concerned when I expressed my concerns either. It is a nice hotel though, will most likely be back.

Great location and big comfy bed

Great location to harbour and shops. Lovely friendly reception staff & great customer service in the cafe next door. Room was minimal not much storage space & having to use the air-con through the night as no windows wasn't the best. Had a bit of an issue the first night with the drain in the bathroom smelling!! But seemed to clear, the following day.

Short stay in Wynyard Quarter

Travelodge Auckland is a basic hotel suitable for a short stay. Staff are pleasant and helpful. We appreciated the early check in. Room service is once every three days. Have larger bins if that's the case. Bed was comfortable.

Nice Hotel good location, rooms very good, did not enjoy housekeepng every 3 days. Like fresh towels and bed made daily

Great location

A very spacious and comfortable room. Well located for the marina bars etc and shopping. Excellent coffee shop next door. We were able to park on the road in front of the hotel for a small charge (free on Sundays)

Priced right. Clean, safe, close to sites, down town. Only clean room everywhere 3 days, small side coffee shop serves sandwiches. Rooms small, king size bed small, bathroom water puddles, doors noisy when closed.

New year stay

Nice new hotel located near food, entertainment & city.

We found Wynyard Quarter lively and very close to the ferry terminal. We only had a couple of days in Aukland and wanted to go to Waiheke. The restaurants and general atmosphere along the water front were great. We very much liked the feel of the neighborhood

Clean, great location and simple room. The only thing I didn’t really like was they only service your room if you stay more than 3days which I found a bit of a let down. If you had a hired car you can park it around the street but parking is available next door to the hotel which is really pricey. Good place to stay if your looking to enjoy the city side more. Great location

Our room was 5th floor, on the corner of Halsey Street and Packenham St West, with fantastic views of the sea, marina and city skyscape. It was on the easterrn side, so missed the heat of the afternoon but enjoyed lovely dawn sunshine in the morning. Competent aircon kept the room comfortable at 18 degs.

Clean comfortable hotel, near bars and eateries. Good check in , easy and polite. Also prior to check in we were offered clear instructions on parking. Great place to stay overnight when we went to a show.

Clean spacious room, one block from the viaduct, has a Woolworths supermarket 1 minute away. Parking is one entry and one exit per day, you validate your parking ticket at the hotel lobby before you leave. Good soundproofing, very quiet. Safe area, would definitely stay again

Perfect place for short term stay. Very quiet as not much traffic and mainly residential area. Convenient location to the viaduct & Queen Street. Bathroom is very small. Bed could do with an upgrade as it sunk on one side. Otherwise, Travelodge is simple but very good.

Great facility. We enjoyed the room and the bed. However, there was no room service for the 3-day stay, and the condition of the sheets left us feeling that cleanliness was not a high priority.

This hotel is in an excellent area, close to all amenities and transport. Very friendly helpful staff. The room is a decent size and had a great view. Comfortable bed. Electric jug with tea/coffee-more available if you ask at reception. Exellent shower.

Good spot for access to Wynyard Quarter restaurants and amenities. Close to new pool in Karanga Plaza.

Location is great. So easy to walk to anything you would want or need. Great place to stroll at night and see the town. Hotel is extremely cold feeling with everything painted black and gray. Parking is expensive. Nothing is included with cost of the room.

The executive room is a good size with great views. We arrived early and our room was ready to check into. A very comfortable quiet stay. Easy access to city and bus route. We love staying here.

Superb location. Easy check in/check out. Had an issue with getting into our room late one night as the air con unit dropped down from the ceiling preventing the door from opening so we had to move rooms. The staff dealt with the issue quickly. The hotel met our expectations and I would recommend staying here both in terms of price and location.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and this hotel was an easy walk to the waterfront. Great location.

Ideal location

Lovely spacious room with a/c for hot weather. Ideal location right by the harbour and the bars where we were lucky to see some orcas in the harbour. Great stay and would definitely recommend and stay again.

We drove here directly from the airport on arrival in Auckland and the hotel was able to check us in early. Parking next door was easy, though a little pricy, but not unreasonable for being in town. Our room was upgraded and we had an excellent end-unit with large and comfy King bed. Breakfast was included right next door at the Tuck Shop. We were able to walk around the harbor and into Britomart easily. Was a perfect place to start our journey in New Zealand.

Our stay wasn’t too bad. There was a stain on the carpet, and we had to pay for parking as it was not included in the price and it was expensive. When we booked it showed a picture of the room window showing the skytower out the window so we thought we would get a good view of either the skytower like in the photo, or maybe the water and harbour bridge since its close to the water, however on both sides of the building where the windows are are surrounded by tall buildings and we did not have a good view.

Ok stay, second time, but wouldn’t choose this particular property again, parking is ok, but pricey for 1 time entry! staff don’t always help with things that other hotels do.

A very well positioned Hotel on the Viaduct, easy parking next door. Nice and new, with lots of cafes, restaurants an easy stroll away.

Brilliant value for this location. Basic but everything you need. My 4th time staying and keep going back.

Hotel staff were friendly and the room was very comfortable. They offered free bag storage before check-in and after check-out. Overall, was a great place to stay in Auckland.

I loved the location of the hotel. Easy walkable area and a quick mart next door to grab essentials. Easy walk to the wharf area. Safe for solo female travelers. Highly recommend the hotel.

Basic hotel

A week’s stay. Room was supposed to be serviced after 3 nights but for some reason mine was not, had to go to reception and remind them that I was missed. Room was small with very little space or storage area. No microwave and the tv channel choice’s are very limited and boring not worth watching. No daily complimentary small water bottles.
