I liked the neighborhood - apartment is conveniently located and great restaurants nearby. They offered a pick up from the airport which was helpful. The apartment was clean and the person who checked us in was waiting on arrival and friendly. We had to pay a cleaning fee in cash so be ready for that when you check in. There is no lift so it may be difficult for older or disabled people as the apartment is several flights up. It was fine for us. There was air conditioning but it was not functioning in the bedroom. Thankfully it wasn’t terribly hot on the days we were in Rome. Also there were several lights that didn’t work. Someone came by and said they would return to fix the lights and air conditioning but by that time we checked out. If those issues could be corrected I would give a higher rating ... overall it is fine - clean, good location, reasonably priced.

We loved the location. There are so many great restaurants in Travastere that we NEVER had a bad meal. It is also easy to walk to all the sites - which we did - but we also took advantage of local taxis (make sure to use the taxi stands). The apartment is very nice - a main room with a queen bed, a loft with a large twin bed, and a separate bedroom with a queen bed. The apartment also has two bathrooms. It is a great place to stay for a family, and our two college kids enjoyed it. The owner responded immediately whenever we had a question.

The property was ok for what we wanted but was very noisy at night and the air conditioning did not work very well and the showers were poor. But overall it was acceptable in a good location.
