Very good hotel

Great breakfast and all the staff deserve the highest note. Very friendly! I would have given 10 but I had to deduct points due to the noise (there is no soundproofing walls), you can hear the airplanes and other outside noises and also the internal noises from the corridor. Also bring your own pillow if you are prone to develop a neck pain like myself as the pillows are very high and felt very uncomfortable. But overall is a very good hotel in a great location with lots of options to eat and there is supermarket and pharmacy nearby.

Check in took two hours. Terrible service.

The check in took 2 hours to complete. It is done via an online system which requires the propertys confirmation number, something that is not included in the hotels.com confirmation. The check-in procedure also required a cpf number, which only Brazilians have, and which did not permit the user to conclude the check in. The response from their "customer service" was pitiful. Each message took over 10 minutes to get a reply to. I don't know what passengers without WhatsApp or without data would do in order to check into this joke of a property. Once inside, the sofa was completely devoid of any cushioning. The bed was comfortable enough though the room in which it was placed was tiny. A cheap motel is a better place to stay than this.

The staff was so friendly it made the stay even better.

The locations is really great but the pictures of the property are not accurate at all. They had to change us 2 times from rooms because they didn’t clean on. Time and the key din’t work. It was very annoying

El hotel estq muy bien cuidado. El cuarto es grande y comodo. Desayuno muy completo y la zona es muy segura con infinitas opciones de restaurantes . Lo.unico que no me gusto mucho es que la cama es una matrimonial de 1.4 , muy chica !

Not worth the money

Terrible. Location is great for business purposes, however room was dirty, and so was the bathroom. Breakfast was simply poor. Service lost a parcel I received, and forgot to call my taxi in the early morning. Overall would rate it 3/10.

Hotel is very well located. It's near to bars, restaurants and shopping centers. Itiam bibi is also quite safe. Hotel staff is nice and friendly. This was my second stay in same hotel in two weeks time and this time room on the 16th floor was better equipped. For European standards hotel looks dated but still is pleasant to stay. Clean quiet. I would recommend this stay for right price :)

Very pleasant hotel in a nice district

We enjoyed the hotel a lot. The location is great - in Itaim Bibi, next to a lot of bars and restaurants. Near the Metro and (what was important to me) a direct bus to the University of Sao Paulo (USP). The rooms are a bit small by US standards, but very nice and clean, with a kitchenette. The staff is considerate and polite, and they speak good English. The breakfast is OK, the same menu every day, but quite tasty.

Above expectations

We had a very positive experience while staying at this hotel. Staff was the nicest we've seen in years. We arrived too early for check in and decided to leave the bags and proceed to our business meetings, they offered a lounge room at the top floor that was perfectly equipped to work in the meantime, breathtaking 360 degrees views from the city. Breakfast was good, but more fruit options would be nice, as week as having some of the spreads jar refilled daily, bread options/quality could be better too. The room was very good in size and comfort. There was a kitchenette and a separate counter for fast meals, and a nice office desk to work.

I had a very good stay at the Transamerica. The personnel was extra friendly, helpful and nice and the location is great. I recommend it.

Great Location in SP

The Hotel is located in the best pert of SP for restaurants, Bars etc. If you like nightlife this is the spot. The WIFI is horrible. The bathroom seemed clean except for all the fly/bugs that accumulate in the bathroom. The over all room is spacious and clean. the Staff is friendly. If they improve the WIFI and solve the fly issue its a great bargain for anyone on a business trip in SP>

Good value for money

The bed was a little small (queen size bed) the sheets were ok. The pressure in the shower wasn't something to write home about. It is an average hotel with fair price all in all.

Our stay was brief but we enjoyed ourselves very much. TV could be upgraded to HDTV though. Friendly staff was quick to process our check in and check out.

Café da manhã deixou a deseja muito ! Faltou muitos itens , e me Informaram que não haveria reposição pois cheguei tarde para o café. Nunca vivi uma Situação assim. Eu estou pagando pelo Café e tomo a hora que quiser. Quarto muito escuro para executar estudo, e banheiro fora das Proposições de medida . Infelizmente não recomendo este lugar para ninguém. Mesmo porque é caro , e já estive em Lugares mais simples com muito mais qualidade.

Great hotel, with great staff and a great location

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Was in town for 2 weeks on business and everything worked as clockwork. Very friendly and serviceminded staff, nice big room with all the necessary amenities. Bathroom was of an older style, but kept clean and orderly to a high standard. Great high quality breakfast buffet, but could have a larger number of choices. Still, everything served was of very high quality. Finally, the location is perfect if you're in town for business and need a central location, with a great selection of restaurants and bars in a safe neighborhood.

Localização excelente e atendimento do staff muito bom. O lobby do hotel foi todo reformado recentemente e está moderno e bonito. O café da manhã não tem imensa variedade, mas é bastante aceitável e tudo saboroso. A única ressalva fica no quarto, que apesar de bastante espaçoso e ter uma cama bem grande é extremamente confortável, parece que não passou por reforma há um bom tempo, não condizendo com a parte comum do hotel.

As instalações são excelentes, mas não gostei do novo restaurante, o anterior era melhor. O almoço foi horrível, porem era de empresa terceirizada. Mas o hotel em si é mto bom

Sempre que estou em Sao Paulo fico neste hotel. A localização é fantastica, a poucos minutos a pé do Shopping Iguatemi, perto de varios bares e restaurantes e próximo de outros bairros legais. O quarto é espaçoso e confortável e o café da manhã, muito bom. Minha unica queixa sempre foi com a recepção pobre mas agora está toda reformada e ficou bem agradável.
