Room was great, staff were great. The only thing was the toilet got clogged easily and it took a bit of time for someone to come sort it out. Ultimately, we will probably stay here again.

The staff were amazing, their service and manner were great and very welcoming. They were very polite and felt like they respected us as a guest. I am a very frequent traveller and have experienced many buffets, the breakfast buffet at Traders was the best breakfast buffet I have ever had upto now. There was a large variety of food options and the quality was of high standard too. Overall this hotel is excellent and would recommend it very highly.

The hotel is right in the middle of KLCC. The room was large and comfortable and the staff were outstanding, very friendly and helpful.

Great location, let down by annoying processes

The hotel policy of holding 250 MYR per night stay as a deposit is disappointing for a long stay. In my experience, it is normal to discuss with a guest what is an appropriate deposit amount depending upon their expected usage, but stating I had to either agree to leave 2000 MYR as a deposit, or nothing (and pay as I use) is an unprofessional process. I was also annoyed that the hotel "held onto my laundry" for almost a week without telling me, due to the deposit issue, and I did not receive same until I visited reception. For a five-star hotel, where I paid in full for my room, I expect and more trusting service.

Close to the main shopping area.

My recent stay at this hotel was not as pleasant as my previous visit. The check-in process took much longer than expected. Despite four guests arriving after me and receiving their keys promptly, I was still waiting while the staff checked various things and ultimately changed my rooms from the 16th floor to the 14th floor, citing that my original rooms was not ready. The towels were damp and had an unpleasant smell, informed the front desk before heading out, however, when I returned 4hrs later, the towels had not been replaced, and I had to call again for immediate assistance. Additionally, the toiletries in this room were different from my previous stay, seemingly due to the room change. The mini fridge was only cool, not cold, and when I inquired, I was told this was the standard temperature-despite my previous stay being different. On a positive note, the bed, pillows, and overall room ambiance were very comfortable, and the breakfast was superb. While there were some service inconsistencies, the hotel still offers a pleasant stay if these issues are addressed.

Location is great. Our room was big and the bed was really comfortable. We had access to the traders club room which was amazing. All top attractions are near the hotel. Staff are always smiling and ready to help. Second time back here and it was amazing!

Really liked the hotel. So many amenities such as pool on the 33rd floor, gym, prayer area, etc. Staff was fantastic, very courteous and professional. The views of downtown and especially the Petronas was incredible. We'll definitely book there again.

Great breakfast buffet, views of KL from the room and SkyBar are incomparable. Staff are very helpful, even packed a breakfast to go because we had an early check out.

Clean and very central to everywhere (Trains, buses and malls)

We've been staying at the Traders Hotel in Kuala Lumpur since 2017, and it remains our go-to for its outstanding value and prime location. It's a solid 4-star establishment with comfortable, clean rooms. What sets it apart is its proximity to KLCC—just a short walk or a quick, complimentary buggy ride away. For runners like me, it's perfectly situated; I never miss a chance to fit in a 10 km run around the beautifully maintained KLCC Central Park, which also links to safe bike lanes for some city freestyling early in the morning. A heads-up about breakfast: the service can get crowded during peak hours from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. To avoid a rush and start your day smoothly, I recommend heading to the 5th-floor restaurant before 7:30 AM. The staff is incredibly friendly, adding to the overall pleasant experience at Traders.

If you need to be near the Convention Centre, this is the place to be. Otherwise it's a bit of a ways to the more tourist spots in Bukit Bintang, etc. Staff was great and the facilities were lovely!

Great view of Petronas Towers for the countdown, easy walking to the malls (bonus buggy rides to Suria KLCC) and dining options galore within easy reach 😃

We stayed at the Traders Hotel near KLCC and we love it for a lot of good reasons: Location, the View to the twin towers, walking to all shopping malls, dining options, cleanliness, and much more… I highly recommend it for your comfort, luxury and enjoyment!!

Perfect for the ambiance of Towers

This room offers amazing views of the Petronas Towers and has wonderful amenities as well. My favorite was soaking tub after a long day of exploring the area. Is walkable to a nice high-end mall and local shops nearby with efficient transportation around the clock. The sky bar and lounge overviewing the Towers is a must do, with music, drinks, and small bites available.

Most staff were friendly and helpful. We had issues with our room and the cold water wouldnt work. Staff managed to quickly sort out a new room, however as we were moving rooms the safe stopped working and took over 30 mins for the engineer to come and sort. There is a buggy service provided to take you from and to Suria KLCC mall, however we were dissappinted as when there is slight rain the buggy service is stopped and resumes 15 mins after any bit of rain. Also it can sometimes take 15 to 20 minutes to get a driver to pick you up at either side which causes inconvenience. There is a whatsapp number to message when you are ready to be picked up and all they do is send generic responses back. Another hotel nearby called "Binjai" provide the buggy service and their service is really good as it runs throughout the rain and is constantly going back and forth.

Some rooms offer a great view of the Twin Towers, which is definitely worth upgrading to.

Reservation team was quick in tacking the booking mistake made through Expedia and even had a little surprise for our honeymoon. All staff were friendly and helpful, buggy service to the mall was extremely convenient and save lots of walking. Skybar was an interesting experience and the view is top notch. Will be back again wherever we’re visiting KL

The staff went out of their way to help and make the stay such a relaxing one. Nicely located with easy access to many areas i needed to go to. Room had a wonderful view of the towers. 😃

My go to hotel when I am in KL. It’s the location across the park from KLCC and the Petronas Towers, the staff at the hotel, and the facilities- the pool is fantastic! The rooms are always so comfortable as well.

Everything was easy from the day we check in till we check out. They gave a rose for my little girl upon checking in as we stay there to celebrate her birthday. The room & environment was clean especially the swimming pool, downside was there is no baby pool there. The management even gave a surprise at our room to surprise our babygirl’s birthday with balloons & roses. There’s buggy service from the hotel to suria KLCC unless it’s raining. Thank god! Save your energy too! Hehehe! Will I stay there again? Yes! Thank you Traders Hotel!

What a memorable stay

I was surprised that the room assigned to us was just a window view of the Petronas twin towers. What a lovely scene. Perfect room. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet serves us right as we love to eat. Everything we dreamt of eating were all there. The room is very clean and hygienic stuff are available for free. There was no need to buy elsewhere. It was also nice that we can request for a grab taxi. Really, our stay was amazing.

Traders Hotel KLCC .

I am goi by back after the renovation. Room and hotel in general look refresh. I had room with Twin Tower View and it is stunning. Executive lounge very spacious, food presentation nice with local touch

Hotel is dated and needs a revamp. Shortage of staff, coffee machine in room was spoilt and was not replaced though customer care told me they would.

A poor check in was redeemed by offering a late check out. The pool while nice when empty is certainly cleverly photographed for the website. Underwhelming it certainly is in the flesh. Only ate once in the hotel in the Chuck it n Shuck it buffet. Having got a discount from a 3rd party website it was still surprising and of course very disappointing to see how much less the four of us received in our seafood bucket...the apparent highlight of the whole buffet...compared to couples nearby. Whether the 3rd party website is aware of this is anyone's guess. Certainly left us with a bad taste. So buyer beware on that! Overall a nice hotel conveniently located but clearly not without "service" issues.

The hotel is next to klcc park, which is good for jogging while relaxing in a busy city. The view to klcc tower is fantastic.

Excellent location by the convention center. A beautiful park just in front of the hotel, with a wade pool, and roads to walking or jogging. They have a golf cart -like/ shuttle to take you to the Suria mall (10 am to 10 pm), a fantastic mall with high end designer brands and also common and convenient ones, plus great restaurants and fast food ones, and prob 8 coffee houses with pastries and baked goods. The hotel has a sky bar with a fantastic view at The Petronas Towers, actually our view from our room was even better, and a 20 mt swimming pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful (every person we met here in KL was like that, very happy people). Two restaurants, a small and convenient Cafeteria. Transportation from and to the airport is cheaper and very comfortable with GRAB(this company bought Uber in South Asia). Definitely coming back here!

I wanted a hotel with a good view of the Petronas towers and my club room with this view was amazing. Very nice room, bathroom. Staff and facilities in club lounge were great.

Outstanding view of the Petronas Towers. Breakfast buffet was tremendous with all three Malaysian cultures (Malay, Chinese and Tamil) plus Western and Japanese. What a spread The room was comfortable and housekeeping did an attentive job.

The staff at this hotel are exceptional. We arrived after a horrible long journey and they went out of their way to make our stay so comfortable and luxurious. Thank you!

First time in KL with my family (5 yo son), and everything is so close and convenient. My son especially loved the hotel pool, KLCC pool, and KLCC playgrounds. I love that it was centered in the heart of tourist attractions. I would suggest though, for Traders Hotel, to remove “laundry facilities” from your list of hotel amenities. I was looking for a self-serve laundry facility (which I thought they have) but the hotel only provides laundry services. Or just rename it to “laundry services” as opposed to “laundry facilities.” Other than that, we would definitely stay here again. :)

A really nice hotel central to KLCC area. Shopping and night markets a short walk.

Very much out of date, pool is in extremely poor condition and location, spa is basically inaccessible. No main lobby to speak of, staff are wonderful.

Disappointed with a small club room and the lounge. It is hard to say as a 5 star hotel. Bedding was very good though…And some staffs in the hotel, they were really hard to communicate.:( If it is your special occasion, I suggest to stay other hotels with a real luxury feature.

Nicely located by KLCC Convention center. Petronas towers, KLCC park only a short walk away. 10 minute walk to Bukit Bintang via the connection. Nice, spacious and comfortable rooms.

A good place to stay for short term trips.

If you go to Kuala Lumpur, you must stay at this hotel!!! Walkable to KLCC Suria mall through the convention centre & tunnel. You don’t have to go out!! Unobstructed view of the Petronas tower and it’s just beautiful!!! Very friendly staff and super clean!!!

Amazing stay

Although our room wasn't facing the Twin Tower of KL but we were on highfloor. Able to see the lanscape of KL. Room was spacious and love that there is a bathtub. The swimming pool area is a nice spot too at level 33. Overlooking the Twin Tower. The day we went swimming, it was raining however we were able to swim due to it being indoor Will come back again

Everything about the hotel was flawless. Had an incredible stay with a superb view of the Petronas Towers. Super convenient to get to KLCC and other shopping areas! It was a restful stay that we enjoyed very much.

Perfect stay in Kuala Lumpur

Wish I stayed longer. In my short time here, the staff was more than welcoming, helpful and just plain lovely. The space was clean and comfortable and who can beat a room with a view! I def am planning on going back!

Enjoyed my stay and the hospitality is top notch! The only setback was the lack of a usb charger and smart tv. If those two things are updated, easily a 5 star experience!

Traders is a great location. Easy access to public transportation and just walking. Room was clean and when we had an issue with hot water they changed our room.
