Clean, quiet, roomy and a very friendly young lady on reception duties.

Lovely clean room with all that you need. Nothing much within walking distance for shopping etc

This was a great place to stay, friendly staff, who accommodated our very late arrival. Our room was wonderful! Comfy bed and great shower. They provided a great assortment of toiletries and plenty of towels. We had a great selection of teas, coffee and sugar options. We were very happy with our entire stay 😁

Very helpful staff. Good sized rooms. Keypad required to open gate to units which provides improved vehicle security. The Bar next door has surprisingly good wood fired pizzas

Close to trentham race course and train station

The 1 bedroom unit had a great layout, was very clean, and secure with gated access.

The team were very accomodating and kept me up to date. The room was very clean with a great outdoor area to relax. There was a good choice of hot drinks provided. The location was very good as well. Highly recommend.

This was the fourth stay at the Totara Lodge and i will definitely be staying again soon

If you need to stay in the upper hutt area then this place is a must, great value for money, extremely friendly staff and management, super secure parking, restaurant and a safe pub right next door and if you dont have a car the trentham train station is literally just across the road. I highly recommend the Totara Lodge and i look forward to staying again soon.

The welcome in the room and the service

Lovely, nice quiet property. Everything I needed and close to what I needed to do. Loved the chocolate bar on the bed on arrival. A very nice touch.

Room was great but the breakfast was below par.

Noisey band from the pub next door on Saturday night, otherwise very good.

From the lady who checked us in to the room itself everythings was great. Comfortable bed, lots of space & super convenient for the events we had planned that weekend. Only heard a couple of trains but sound was minimal however there is a pub next door so could hear people talking on and off but nothing crazy.

A great place to stay, couldn’t fault it…friendly, helpful staff, a great restaurant next door and an easy commute to IRANZ.

The staff were exceptionally lovely and accommodating. They were flexible and customer focussed. The train is just across the road but far enough you don't hear it. The room was BIG and everything was clean. Will definitely stay again!

It is in the convinient place of Upper Hutt close to NewWold shoping centre and to the entrance to Highway 2 to drive to Wellington or to Low Hutt.

If you in the area fantastic place to stay . Just the 1 night and was very happy . Great food and drinks in attached tavern . Spacey clean well serviced rooms .

More than I expected!

Nice big room with a private little courtyard out back. Well appointed room kitchenette and bathroom. Really good to have a proper walk-in shower that worked well too! Many hotels have the shower over bath which I find a bit annoying. Overall was great and recommend!

I was in Wellington for the WOW Wearable Arts Show, and I was most impressed with my stay, was clean, quiet, safe and very comfortable, friendly staff and would recommend to stay here again, Great value for your money.

Very nicely appointed room. Plenty of condiments. Clean, modern decor. Lots of room with dining table. Tea/coffee facilites, microwave fridge, plates and cutlery.

I was surprised at the size of the room we'd booked. It was lovely and we were very happy with it. We booked the Studio with the Queen Bed. It was sweet to find a chocolate bar in the room.
