Fashionable Apartment with a Great View
The Onyx suite is actually an apartment on the 52nd story of a condominium tower with a great view of the city. If the dome is open, you can even see into Blue Jays games. We were watching the hockey playoffs and we could hear the roar of the crowd coming in from the balcony while the game unfolded. The apartment is in pretty good condition--some dings here and there on the walls but everything works well. The internet was super fast. Here are a few tips: To get from the 52nd story of an apartment building to the TTC subway at rush hour could easily take 15 minutes. You may beed to purchase your own shampoo and detergent. There's some paperwork involved in renting the apartment. You'll have to pay a cleaning fee (separate) and put down a refundable deposit as well as signing a rental agreement on-line. Duane is very responsive but it will still take about an hour of going back and forth.

Extra fees and rental agreements not disclosed
We booked our stay in the morning, around 8 AM. Arrived at 5ish at the location and was then informed (Via e-mail) that we needed to provide an additional $500 deposit which was to be paid directly to the owner and an additional $100 cleaning fee. Unfortunately, the Hotels.com was not able to reach the owner my phone he did not respond quickly by email. The email also noted that the owner required an additional rental application agreement, required that we download an app from the App Store, and then send everything directly to the owner. Do not book if you do not have 72 hours to complete all of their ticky tack requirements. I booked the room for four days, but because we were not be able to get into the unit, we had to get another hotel elsewhere. The owner refused to refund anything at all, even though we were not able to stay. Misleading booking with regard to fees and requirements. Poor response time. Not the deal you may think it is. Buyer beware.
