Room 503 water discolored.

Water to room 503 was shut of for a duration on March 5. Once water flow resumed the water was was discoloured, the discoloration continued into the next day March 6 2025

Needed more frequent room service, used same towels all week. Showers are terribly designed and allow leakage on both ends of the tub; showers require longer curtains.

Good for price, abit older Asian style, you can smoke on balcony and the pool is nice, it’s near many stores and restaurants and Patong Beach/party areas.

Just ok. Way Overpriced for what it is. Location is good if you want to be in the action. There are better options out there for the money. Coffee was gross and my room had no shower curtain so that was fun.

Great location easy walking 🚶‍♂️

This is a 3 star resort and it shows. The rooms, whilst large, were dated. The shower in the room was the worst!! It was a fixed handpiece with no adjustment to the wall at a height that hits you in the face. If you leave it on the wall it hits the back wall and floods the bathroom. You have to remove it and hold it to shower. The bathroom sink was loose and moved on the bench. The breakfast buffet was not to our taste with a lot of sweet treats. The fruit was normally hit and miss and the hot food was mainly asian food (Curry, noodles etc) that I would not consider eating at breakfast. Most of the time the lids were left up on the hot station and the food was cold and dry. The staff need to monitor this and keep the lids closed to hold in heat and moisture. The egg station was good but there was no bacon. We asked 3 days in a row and were told that there was non and then on the 4th day they produced it in a plastic container behind the egg station counter. It was pail, sweaty and was not inviting. I would not recommend eating it. We found the staff in the restaurant on average to not interact with guests and rarely smiled. The lady at the travel desk, Kay was great and always welcoming and jovial. I will not stay here again even though it was a cheap price

Good value for money, lovely Pool, great location

Not more than average! Noisy as all the rooms are close to the swim! Breakfast below average. There is coffee club nearby though! Good access to Bangla walking street and Patong beach!

Hotel quiet even though on busy street. Staff very friendly. We joined in a free yoga session on the beach which was excellent. Pool view rooms worth the extra cost, bathrooms could do with being refurbished, everything else very good value. Would stay here again.

Hidden Gem

Love this place! Can’t even think of anything bad to say - the staff were all lovely, the room was big and clean with a good sized balcony, location is great (very close to the beach, shops, bars, restaurants etc. but not too close that we could hear any noises at night) and the pool/pool area/pool bar is perfect! We’ll be staying here again next time we go to Phuket :)

Great deal for $

We love the location, the staff & have been staying here for over 10 years. Joy heads up a fantastic front desk team and they are all really fantastic. Particularly Joy who is always interested to hear how your trip is getting on and if you require any assitance to improve the qualigy of your trip. The property is well maintained but it is certainly showing its age. Every year they seem to make small refurbishments and updates.

Very nice and authentic property but somewhat dated. Super polite staff. The room was very clean. Conveniently located at walkable distance to all major attractions.

Stayed here two times, great place and great staff. The beds are dated, not very comfy otherwise no complaints

Lovely staff and very peaceful

Upon arrival at Tony’s resort it was obvious it was undergoing some renovations. The property is a bit dated however in a great convenient spot to Patong within walking distance to lots of attractions. The bed was very uncomfortable however the staff did their best to rectify it. The pool area is great however if there is a large amount of people then the bar staff would get flustered and charged incorrectly. The breakfast was good not a huge selection but excellent value , would be better if restaurant was air conditioned. The desk staff were very helpful and accommodating and a I must mention how excellent the tour booking lady was, very helpful and friendly. In summary the place is good but just needs updating.

Good value hotel within easy walking distance of major attractions.

I personally liked the staff. I apologise for singularly naming anyone. ICE, SATANG, MON, TIEN, MAI, BOY and all the others were fantastic.

The staff was great, housekeeping was excellent, there were plenty of restaurants to choose from and lots of shopping available. The breakfast buffet could have been a little better, especially since i had to pay in advance through the booking app. At $4 a person and not knowing what was going to be offered didn't make sense. My family only ate there once. Overall, the hotel was a great place to stay.

Our third time at Tony’s. Always great value for money. Staff are always smiling, helpful and friendly. Rooms are huge, pool is great and location is central to everything in Patong. Would stay again. Make sure you stay on the pool side of the property.

Great place to stay. Love the pool and the pool side room. Staff where awsome and loved the morning cappuccino. Joy was a great ambassador for the Tony resort with a big smile and happy greating in the mornings. Thanks guys

We didn't like breakfast not much to choose from they didn't have many dishes very small quantity available we have stayed at Tony resort many times before they had much better breakfast considering nightly rate is perty high we only stay 1-2 nights we always book and stay elsewhere for the rest of our holidays

Loved the pool and staff were beautiful. Shower needs a little upgrade .

For an older property it was unique in its style and service

This is my third stay at Tony’s it was just as good as the first rooms are clean staff are great just a great place to stay will definitely be back.

Great place. Loved everything, almost, location, rooms, facilities. Staff are wonderful especially Joy who went out of her way to help us out. The onsite tour lady is also fabulously helpful. If I had to pick negatives it would be that the beds are rock hard and very uncomfortable (staff added a mattress topper when requested) and maybe the bathrooms could use updating although they are perfectly functional.

Everyone so nice! Great pool area. Room’s good! Wouldn’t suggest to eat at their restaurant though. Satisfactory only. Otherwise a very comfortable place:) Front desk staff excellent!

Tony resort located in perfection position. Short walk (5min) from Patong beach 10minute walk to Bangla road, 5minute walk to Jungceylon. So it is perfect location, BUT the resort itself is a little rundown and could do with a little bit of love and care. When we arrived late at night we were checked in but when we were showed to our room it was located on a corner it smelt of old and the bathroom did have mould (this is where it needs a little love which would not take long to fix) we did go to the front desk to ask if we could move but the other room he wanted to offer us was not any better so we waited till the next morning where Joy was more than happy to move us downstairs in front of the pool and this was perfect. Breakfast is another area which needs a little care. As I explained to Joy on our last day that the workers instead of just hanging around when there are not tables to clear need to walk around the food and check what needs to be refilled rather than the guest notifying them several times that coffee had run out pancakes needed to be topped up french toast is cold etc. these are little things that just need care. Happy hour around the pool at 5pm is great. All in all I would stay there again as the price, location and my room ended up being perfect Thankyou to all the staff for trying your best

My stay at Tony Resort was exceptional the staff were great the food was great when I asked for a late check out due to late flight nothing was a problem for the staff at Tony Resort I will be definitely staying again at Tony Resort.

Honest friendly staff

I left my Credit Card in the room safe and staff had in an envelope waiting for me when I returned 3 weeks later.

Great little resort , rooms are old but clean & big , pool was good . On main drag close to everything. Jungceylon around the corner. Will be back.

I have stayed at the property numerical times and always keep returning. Staff are fantastic and the pool area is great.

Had an amazing time at this hidden Gem. Nice and centre to our needs wkth a dhort walk of 10mins to Otop markets or the beach. Cocktails were great and the staff were very warm and welcoming, nothing was an issue. Canr wait to go back again

Elevator didn't work.Middle of town, fireworks going off. Breakfast forget it....Party hotel not family.

The hotel staff went out of their way to assist guests with all requests. They also had fun nights with a foam machine into the pool.

as soon we arrived we where greeded with great smile and personality which made as very welcome and secure all the people working there we very friendly and all ready to help in any why thanks Tony Resort will love to come back

Great location and value for money.

Tony’s is great value for money. Close to everything in Patong. It’s an older style resort but has a great pool and big rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful ( not a lot of English spoken but that said, their English is better than my Thai.) There was some noisy renovations going on next door during the day but that’s not this hotels fault. Breakfast was basic so if you want that, take it as part of the booking option as it will be more expensive on site.If you’re looking for value for money with nice rooms and a great pool I would certainly recommend it.

Tony resort has a lot of character which sets it apart from other multi national resorts.Convenience to walk to all popular tourist destinations Bangla Rd,Jung Ceylon,O Top and numerous restaurants.The staff were allwas helpfull and smiling the lady at the tour desk allways very happy all staff allways said good morning/afternoon/evening allways nice to hear

We arrived for two days and stayed for a week. Perfect hotel!!! In the center and close to everything, 200m from Bangla Street. The staff was smiling and kind, especially the reception representative, she upgraded our room and our every request was answered positively and with a smile. Very large and clean rooms, excellent air conditioner! Refrigerator, safe, bottles of water, kettle, free towels, shampoo and more... Clean pool (very important, in other hotels the pools are not clean) In the evening there was a soap party in the pool and it was really fun. Fresh and delicious breakfast, eggs/omelet on the spot at your request, vegetables, stews, sauces, cornflakes, fresh fruit and much more... There are laundry and ironing services for 50 baht and the laundry comes back clean and fragrant. In short, they made our vacation perfect!! We will definitely be back! Thank you

We have stayed at tony resort 5 times. It is close to nightlife, shopping centre, beach. Perfect location. The hotel is basic & nothing special but good enough. Breakfast is good, rooms are good, pool is good. Probably the only complaint is the mattress is like sleeping on concrete. We have stayed at multiple hotels around Patong but tony resort ticks all the box’s for the price.

Clean environment and friendly staff

Mixed feelings about the hotel.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the holiday busy area of Patong, only 5 minutes from the beach. The room was reasonable sized but the bathroom was very basic with a bath but only shower setting. The rooms were cleaned or should I say on some days only water, towels were replaced and nothing else was cleaned. It depended on the cleaner on the day. The balcony was never cleaned for the two weeks we stayed. Aircon was ineffective and noisy. But the breakfast was good and service by staff was great. They made the best milkshake in Patong.

Really enjoyed the stay. Staff were rrally nice and Friendly. We had a poolside room great for the kids and pool was clean and kept in good condition. The reception manager was great dealt with anything we asked. Only small issue is the toilet handle came off a few times but cleaner fixed it each time. Good affordable hotel with easy access to beach will definitely stay again

Bed was very hard. Breakfast was disappointing, couldn't even cook eggs right. Would not book again

Great budget hotel

Check in easy and staff friendly. Booked 2 pool access rooms which were good. Room was decent size, had a safe and hot water was good. Only small complaint I have was the urn for making cuppa’s. It never really boiled so tea/coffee didn’t taste nice. Next time I would bring my own travel kettle . Overall great location and for the price we paid would definitely stay again

Right at the centre of the city. Has a very good swimming pool.. Rooms are done in wooden decor and have a cottage style feel. Our room had a direct access to the swimming pool. Staff was very courteous and helpful. All major attractions nearby.

Great location, wifi worked only in lobby

After 3 complaints of wifi not working in our room and being told they'd fix it, we gave up and used it in lobby when required. An email was also sent saying they'd fix it and never did. This was our 3rd or 4th stay here and probably our last as I don't think the 'free upgrade' they gave us was an upgrade at all. We were upgraded to a non wifi room or a room with faulty wifi. I'd rather be told honestly wifi doesn't work in that room than be told they'll fix it numerous times and do nothing about it.

Great Pool Breakfast could be better more options would be nice

Great place to stay. Staff are lovely. It would have been nice to have been offered coffee/tea sachets in the room with the kettle provided. My only issue was that the bed and pillows are very hard! My room and my friends' room had the same problem. The swimming pool is stunning and the service was excellent

The staff at Reception were exceptional & cleaners do a great job,however l was disappointed in the amount of time it took to be served on all 3 occasions l dined at the Resort restaurant.Upon arrival l found a notice in my room to inform that the pool would be under repair until June19.Even though the pool was in service prior to the estimated date,l believe a customer should be made aware of this well before their arrival.Yes the use of the pool at the Amata Resort was organised,but l feel should be given prior notice.

The position of the hotel is central too everything, the rooms are very quiet with no road noise apparent. They are also of a good size and nice and clean. Overall my stay was perfect for me and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Regards Robert Stevens

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Good pool area and rooms were clean. Can’t really comment on the breakfast as we didn’t get it in our package. We booked 4 months prior and asked for joint rooms but did not happen. Daily restocking of water, coffee and sugar needs a good overall though. I didn’t get coffee all week and the missus had to ask daily for hers to be restocked. WiFi rarely works at all. Close to the beach, Bangla rd and prop markets which was good

Worse place we stayed in two weeks of Thailand.

We arrived at Tony resort after a flight and taxi ride to be greated by very unfriendly staff. First problem was they wanted a cash (in US dollars) which we didn't have as we are not American and we have been able to use credit cards everywhere else. So we had to take a trip to the cash machine. We was then taken to our room. Which was supposed to be deluxe room with city view. (Which I booked) It ended up being a very below average room, with a view of the carpark. We explained to the staff that we booked a deluxe room, and turned and said it was and even laughed. It was clean and comfortable. Bathroom looks like it's from the 1950s. Pool area was nice. Restaurant seemed nice and clean, but we didn't eat in it so can't really comment. Overall very disappointed, will not be going back.

Room was a few steps from the pool! Staff were courteous & always smiling. Special mention to Rem on reception. Breakfast could have had more options such as more fruit & pastries, The property is old & could do with a lick of paint, but it did not take away from the comfort & ammenities of the property,

Ok hotel.

Quite nice place to stay in terms of location, cleanliness, facilities. However, nearby construction is heard by the pool. In addition, the music there is very loud and aggressive type. :( The staff is not good in English language. Room was spacious. Pool view recommended.

Central but any from the noise,also has a good pool.

Room is a bit old and all towel need to change as is not white but more of grey due to ling usage
