A favorite place to stay. Great location, especially with the extension built into Shibuya station that brings an entrance even closer. Love being able to do laundry and enjoy the balcony. Friendly, helpful staff. Have stayed more than once and will be back again!

Room is clean, and it contains washer dryer, sink, fridge, all these amenities are really convenient. And the location is excellent, for tourist to walk to Shibuya station. Staff is friendly and kind. Would surely come back and stay here if I want to live near Shibuya station next time.

Air conditioner with warm air is very noisy. Cannot sleep well.

Fantastic location. 5 min walk to Shibuya crossing. Great cafe under hotel with excellent coffee. Room was small, not like in photos, but enough for us as we were out all the time.

Quite good, close to the scramble crossing and shopping. Room was good, bathroom was quite nice. Washer/dryer in room was great but it took ages to run a cycle. Unfortunately we had noisy guests next door yelling until nearly midnight on a Tuesday night and we had a day trip planned and had to get up early with little sleep. Front desk were responsive to help which was appreciated. A toaster in the room would be a great addition to the kitchen.

This was extremely ideal for the perfect vacation spot! This is only a 7 minute walk from Shibuya station and everything is close by. The restaurant below the Tokyu Stay was amazing!

A great place to stay in Shibuya

Tokyu Stay Shin-minimaguchi was close to the Shibuya station, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff speaks enough English to help us with check-in and any other questions we had. They also had a translator service for languages not spoken. The rooms were small, but plenty comfortable. We spent little time in the room and most of our time exploring. Laundry in the room was a bonus and very helpful when planning for a 10 day trip. Really made our clothing choices easy. My sons were in a separate room and did a poor job with their laundry and we had to pack some wet clothes along to the next hotel unfortunately. If coming to Shibuya, I would certainly recommend this hotel again. It’s 5 minutes walk from the station, easy for transportation, and there is plenty of eateries within a few minutes walk. Try the Hawaiian cafe for soufflé pancakes!

I had an amazing stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was spotless, well-appointed. This hotel provided an exceptional experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo I will definitely be back

Perfect location in the middle of Shibuya with a very brief walk to Shibuya station and plenty of dining options everywhere. The rooms were japanese small but still suitable for two people (we had the double bed) and the bathroom was comfortable enough. The washer/dryer (both in one) were super useful as we ended out trip there. If I return to the Shibuya area this is my top choice.

Average Shibuya hotel

Adequate. Decent location near Shibuya Stream was the driver for choosing here. Like all hotels in Tokyo right now, it’s overpriced for what it is. Everything you need if you don’t need to luxuriate in a hotel room during your trip. Toilet/bathroom not totally spotless on arrival, but not a deal breaker.

This hotel is conveniently located close to Shibuya station, super helpful. The room is spacious and you even have a washing machine and balcony. However, there's a constant bad smell of drain in the bathroom all the time. We thought it was our room 501 so we asked to get moved to another room and the moved us to 401. Not sure if it's the bathrooms on that side of the building or all bathroom but we had to buy perfumes and air fresheners to try to keep the smell away. After smelling that all the time is gives you the sense that nothing is really clean. Very uncomfortable.

My 2nd time staying at this location and I love it! Very clean and cozy room with everything I needed. Quick walk to Shibuya station, lots of dining and shopping within minutes.

Amazing property

The place is clean and quite. My only comment is that the place is kind of small. Once you have 3 big luggages it kind of hard to walk inside the room.

The property is older, and what was not disclosed when booking is that they do not do full housekeeping. Towels are changed and rubbish bins are emptied, and that’s it. There are laundry machines and a kitchenette in the rooms. Convenient stores and restaurants are very close as well as Shibuya station and the scramble - all in walking distance.

Clean, hotel was accomodating. Would recommend to stay here.

Well equipped room in Shibuya

The room was clean, close to the station and very quiet. We were surprised as to how well equipped the room was. Although small it had a microwave, hot plate and a washing machine/dryer in the room.what a luxury when travelling light in Japan. Highly recommended for a few nights stay.

Really liked staying here. Loved having a fridge, microwave and washer/dryer. Also loved how close Shibuya station is and of course a family mart right next to the hotel. Definitely staying here again when we return to Shibuya.

I love how quiet this place is located and transport is super close, shibuya station. There is a washing machine and dryer in our room which was very helpful on packing light.

This small hotel in the Shibuya area of Tokyo is absolutely amazing. It’s very clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The hotel provides all the basic amenities, so there’s no need to bring toiletries as they’re offered free of charge. My room even had a washer, dryer, and a cute little balcony overlooking the residential neighborhoods. The staff are exceptionally respectful and make you feel welcome. The hotel’s location is also fantastic—clean, quiet, and super safe. Shibuya Crossing is less than a 20-minute walk away, and along the way, you’ll find plenty of restaurants, bars, small shops, grocery stores, and more. Train stations are just down the street, less than a 10-minute walk. I highly recommend this hotel, and if I’m ever in Tokyo again, I’ll definitely stay at the Tokyu Stay Hotel.

We really enjoyed our Stay here, we had a nice balcony and a excellent accommodations. The staff was superior in every way. I would most definitely stay here again.

Service was good, will stay here again

Location was very confident. Close to Shibuya Station and an easy walk with luggage. Room and amenities are basic but nice and very comfortable. Air conditioning was excellent. Only complaint was smell of mildew from the bathroom. Not excessive but noticeable. It looked clean and cared for. Perhaps plumbing or ventilation related.

This was the first hotel we stayed at when we landed in Japan so it made a difference that the staff was very helpful. Once we learned the surrounding areas we realized how convenient the location is. If you don’t want to the right on the middle of a busy area, but still be walking distance from the subway and the main areas of Shibuya, this hotel provides that. It is small, but the bed is comfortable. I would stay here again.

Close to subway, Familymart downstairs. It was nice to have washer in the room. The only thing I didn’t like is the blanket. The cover is scratchy and kept sliding off the sheet. Everything else was great!

Not right in the middle of Shibuya Crossing but close enough that I was only a 10 minute walk. Staff was helpful with everything. Room was a tight but I think just about everything is in Tokyo. You don't really want to be in the room though. Get out there and see things. Perfect for that.

Booked this hotel due to its good location and the fact it had a washing machine in the room. What’s good is that Shibuya station is about a 7 minute walk and there are lots of food options around, including a family mart right next door. Unfortunately this is where the positives ended. The hotel seems to have undergone a refit, where the common areas and facade seem nice and modern, but the rooms themselves (particularly the bath and shower area) have been missed out. The cleanliness of the room was particularly poor. There were a significant number of flies coming out of the bathroom drains on a daily basis, and the bathroom itself smelt terrible with a smell coming from the drains. Inside the room, something had been spilt in the wardrobe/clothing cupboard, and allowed to dry, which made it smell terrible and was unusable. With this hotel you have to pay extra to have the room cleaned, so naturally this wasn’t fixed. For the price and the cleanliness issues experienced, I would not recommend the hotel and would not return. I have read in other reviews that customers have experienced cockroaches in their rooms. Whilst I did not experience this myself, I did notice one on the street immediately outside this hotel. This was the only one I saw in 2.5 weeks in Japan.

The hotel staff are helpful and can communicate in English, which is helpful for foreigners such as me. I do want to share that my poor experience with this establishment is due to the cleanliness of the hotel room. For example, there were stains all over the carpet and walls. In addition, the washroom had a foul smell that did not dissipate even with air fresheners.

Overall experience was good. Convenient and easy to get too. Facility staff was great, cleaners always did a good job. Only complaint I have is the room had a musty smell when we got there and the sheets seemed old. The washer and dryer in the room was a big plus! They also had easy instructions on how to use the a/c and washer. Really came in handy. Would definitely come back

Very nice simple small in Japan standards room but very clean and comfortable. Coffee and tea available in the reception area. Good restaurants nearby easy to get a taxi or go to the train station if needed good for a short stay. Walkable to Shibuya crossing and all that area

Very close to Shibuya crossing walkable and also to the JR line very good restaurants with in the same block also a family market Japan style. The hotel always has coffee and tea service and taxis passing by if you need it.

Our stay at Tokyu Stay Shibuya was amazing! We had a family suite with four adults, and even though it was a bit tight, the room was super practical. Everything had its place, and we never felt crowded. The best part was the washer-dryer in the room—it made our stay so much easier, especially since we could wash our clothes whenever we needed to. The shower was also great—spacious and modern. The location was perfect too! We were just a short walk away from a Lawson convenience store, which was really handy, and Shibuya was close by, making it easy to explore the city. All in all, Tokyu Stay Shibuya was a fantastic choice for our trip, and we’d definitely stay there again!

Good place to stay. Just note they don't do daily cleaning. it's like once per week. But they will change towels and take trash.

Property was very convenient

This was my first time in Tokyo and I loved this hotel, mostly due to cleanliness and location. The only reason it’s 4 stars is because the room was hot and stuffy and the a/c didn’t work very well.

The hotel was very convenient due to the location from the train station, only a few mins walk. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The size of the rooms is great and includes a washer and dryer. The hotel also offers free amenities such as toothbrush, body sponge, razor among others. The hotel is conveniently located a few yards away from Shibuya Sky and has a Family Mart and Lawson next to it. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again when I visit Tokyo! This place is excellent if you are used to the route to Shibuya station via buildings of Shibuya Stream and Shibuya Scramble.

It was so nice to have a washer/dryer machine in the room. Since it was very hot & humid in Tokyo, we sweated a lot everyday. I was very happy to be able to wash those sweaty clothes in the room!

Great location in a quiet street, but a quick walk to Shibuya Sky, the crossing and the shopping. Loved that there was a combini close by and a cafe for breakfast in the morning. Big plus having a washer/dryer in the room. Very handy in the hot, humid weather we had in July.

Beware of the “breakfast included”

Location is excellent, very close to Shibuya Station. Staff is very helpful. Room was very clean. The hotel states “breakfast included” but there needs to be more information provided. There are 2 “breakfasts” available, Japanese & Western. The “Western” is a frozen ham & cheese sandwich with one thin slice of ham and a blob of cheese on top. Very doughy concoction. This is offered every day, no variety. We had booked other Tokyu Stay hotels on our long trip but cancelled all because of the terrible breakfast. We did not redeem our breakfast coupons the last two days and instead opted to purchase food elsewhere. We travel a lot and have never encountered this before. Please ask the hotel to be much more specific in their description.

Have stayed here twice and has never let me down! Convenient washer and dryer as well as convenient transportation.

We are a family of three, and we truly enjoyed our day. We love the washer, dryer and unit and the convenient of getting fresh towels and trash collected every day. We love the surrounding area because it had so much restaurants, convenience, stores, cafés, and a cute area to lounge. We love how it is near Shibuya but separates its “busy-ness” from the hotel. Will definitely be back.

We arrived at det hotel 21 minutes earlier than check in at 15.00. They said the room was ready, but we had to pay early feed to get it. Toilet are dirty, and you can see the poor cleaning over time. It was a curtin in the shower and that is not nice knowing the poor cleaning. The room altso smeIls like mold. We complained and got a new room, simular, but slightly smaller and 4 stories lower. Not we are sorry and lets give you a complimentary breakfast or anything like that. Location of the hotell are excellent, as it is close to the tubes and shopping. If you are a light sleeper, you will maybee be annoyed be the train passing the hotell. For me it was ok as i was very tiered. The beds are hard, as thay normally are in Japan, but we slept comfortably.

Close proximity to popular areas which as a first timer in Tokyo, we highly appreciated. Railway was under construction so made it difficult to get back to the hotel past midnight due to surrounding areas being closed off. Cleanliness was top notch and service was quite and seamless from the first to last day
