We stayed in a Superior room which is why my review is as good as it is. I cannot imagine lowering my standard much more for a hotel stay without it affecting my review negatively. For what you pay this was an AMAZING hotel. Standards in Barcelona are not as posh as some other cities so i will not compare them...The bed was comfortable and of the 5 nights we stayed only 1 night was noisy which surprised me being so close to Las Ramblas. The location can't be beat...near to Metro and if you're a walker you can do that too...next door to an amazing market...spent most nights in the Gothic quarter that is very near...the staff were all friendly and helpful...i felt safe as the front desk is monitored and front door is locked...just ring to come in...LOTS of hot water...we had just arrived from a week in Paris from a much nicer hotel that had absolutely no hot water so it was much appreciated...breakfast was nice and consistant...bring a whistle because it's the best way to scare away pickpockets...had 2 run ins with them on the Metro...thank you to Jonathon for making our stay memorable

As two adults (not a couple) we stayed in the twin bunkbed room. The price was very reasonable for Barcelona, and the location was great. The beds were very comfortable, but the room was impressively tiny, and the window led to a utility hole (much too small to be a "courtyard". The bathroom was beyond tiny -- if the doors were closed, you couldn't even turn around if you were standing in front of the sink -- sidling left or right as if pressed against a wall was necessary. There were no electical outlets or light switches reachable from the upper bunk. Biggest problrm -- the bathroom doors were translucent glass sliding doors that did not reach the floor completely, so there was neither complete visual nor audio bathroom privacy. There was no kettle in the room. There was free coffee & tea available in reception downstairs, but only after 1pm, so not useful in the morning. Probably best to use this room for children, not adults.

Great location

We had a very good experience in this hotel. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean and with a very nice decoration and smell. It’s small but very cozy and with a very good price since it is in a very centric location near to everything.

Everyone working at the front was exceptional- welcoming, friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but newly done and all you need. There is an elevator. Breakfast was more than adequate with meats, cheese, pastries, fruit, juice…… From 1-10 they have free coffees from their espresso machine and pastries.

We just missed the Barcelona floods and got out before the airport was closed. Hotel is close to everything!

il y avait un problème avec la ventilation. si la ventilation était ouverte, la température tombait à 14 °C. Pour cesser cela, il fallait ouvrir la fenêtre, fermer la ventilation. La fenêtre donnait sur la cage de l’ascenseur. Plutôt ordinaire. Sinon la chambre était vraiment très très propre et bien rénovée. Belle expérience générale. Ventilation défectueuse.

Easy, clean, quiet

Good value for the Ramblas area. There were so many food options, especially in the market. I stayed with my two teens and I like that there was a family room option- 1 double bed and 2 twin beds. Train station is within walking distance. Would stay again!

Great Staff

It was very pleasant and Percy was great. He greeted us with enthusiasm, helped us in many ways and even tried to help us book our stay at TOC Malaga. The hotel was clean and modern. Excellent location. I made a mistake when I booked my stay and got a tiny room and I found it a bit expensive. Next time I would reserve a normal individual room 😄 .

Overall pretty good!

Overall a good experience. The gentleman who checked-us in in the evening was very warm and welcoming. The girl in the morning, not so much, Even though breakfast was ready, they made us wait until 7am, which was kind of annoying. Otherwise good!

Fantastic Location. Could totally sleep four people. We had three people and were very comfortable and very conveniently located to all the Gothic quarter and major city attractions.

The property is well run. The room was small (to be expected in Europe), but very clean. Continental breakfast was very good. Location is very convenient to everywhere we visited in Barcelona.

I was on the upper bed of the bunk bed and this scene is right on top of my head…… the upper bed is really close to the ceiling so I have to look at the dust when I fall asleep. The reception area is really nice though

Such a cute, cozy and fairly modern hotel with a great location just off of Las Ramblas (approximately 1 minute walk). Its very close to pharmacies, supermarkets, food spots and other shops. The staff were all very friendly, accommodating and available. I had an interesting issue with the shower curtain but the lovely staff addressed it immediately. Great spot.

No phones in the rooms, which was inconvenient to reach out to the main desk while the elevator was down the week of Sept 16th. The staff was very helpful taking the luggage upstairs to each room.

This is a nice hotel. The rooms are much smaller than I thought from the photos (no closet or small desk, it’s pretty tight), but it’s very clean. The area is walking distance to everything but our taxi driver and a neighboring business owner were both robbed outside the hotel during our short stay here. It’s a busy but smaller street with access to other little streets to run into. The hotel is secure - you have to be buzzed in but if you’re staying with kids, might be a good idea to consider a busy street or another area.

The location is great. It’s steps away from the popular La Ramblas. Lots of restaurants and cafes. Walking distance from the Catalunya Plaza where there are hop-on hop-off buses. Metro station is nearby as well.

Lovely hotel with a great central location. Check in was easy and staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms well kept and modern.

Contemporary clean family room, great beds, bathroom and location. Just off Las Ramblas, lots of connections to transport links. Staff very helpful. Stored our luggage and notified us when room was ready. Close to shops, grocery store for last minute essentials and snacks.

The hotel is clean and well taken care of, but the street it is on is dirty though a short walk to Las Ramblas. The staff was very helpful and tried their best to support us though I think they had limited options. We had trouble with our air conditioning in the family room on the 3rd floor and they could do little to fix it. It was very hot outside (August) and we had kids. They brought us an oscillating fan but that did not help our child in the upper bunk who got so hot they were sick. They ended up sleeping with us in our bed where the fan could hit them. It was miserable. Our other family in other normal rooms on the same floor had wonderful air conditioning so it was really just broken in our room and they left us in that hot room with kids overnight. Other than that the property and staff were nice. The breakfast was reasonable too.

Nice boutique hotel located right off Las Ramblas. Room with queen bed and bunk beds was very small considering the price but clean and stylish. Overall good experience. Would have been if we could have checked out at noon instead of 11am. Hotel asks for 30 euros for late checkout!!

Stayed at this property before and after a cruise. It is super convenient for getting to the port. Great staff and we loved the location near La Rambla.

My family (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed at this location for two nights. We loved it! The staff were helpful. We felt safe. They spoke fluent English, Spanish, and I think I also heard French. It is about a half block from La Rambla. It is close to several good restaurants, good shopping, and easy transport connections to see the sites in Barcelona. If we ever come back to Barcelona, we will stay at this hotel.

Checkin was great and the room was quiet and charming. We ate lunch at the pub too and it was really good! If we return to London, we would definitely consider staying here again.

Excellent Hotel in Barcelona

We stayed at TOC Ramblas for two nights at the end of a two week vacation. We were welcomed by friendly staff on our arrival. This hotel offered an affordable option in an excellent location for our family of 4! The hotel is modern and clean with amenities that helped us relax and enjoy our time there. We look forward to returning to this property the next time we are in Barcelona.

The hotel is in a great, convenient location and close to many popular sites like La Boquiera Market; Plaça Catalunya was a short 5 min walk and Las Rambla was literally at the end of the street. Hotel was very clean and safe…at certain times could not get into the hotel unless you rang the bell and front desk staff let you in. This was definitely appreciated! Front desk staff were very helpful and provided restaurant recommendations and other key city information. The room we had was small but good enough because we didn’t spend much time in the room except to sleep. Bathroom was good, loved the rain shower. Didn’t like the hairdryer and the fact that you had to hold down the power button for it to work. Wish there was more counter space for toiletries but the bench under the sink helped hold things. Wish there was a small bar fridge to hold drinks and definitely need to invest in room safes. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely consider returning to TOC Ramblas!

Cute and Central Hotel in Ramblas

Nice hotel in Ramblas. So close to Boqueria market and shopping. The hotel itself is small but the room was very clean and loved the decor. I only stayed here for one night on my way back, wished I stayed longer and will book here for a longer stay. The bed was comfortable and linens were clean. Their soap and shampoo smelled amazing!!

My room smelled badly & the balcony overlooked a narrow trashy ground area. The elevator is too small. The staff were very nice, but could not offer a discount to address the many issues with the room provided. However, they were so helpful in giving directions to where we wanted to do & helped with tour tickets. Breakfast & 24hr. coffee was wonderful!

The property is located close to Rambla street. and Buqueria market. Very active street. But there is graffiti around the neighborhood. and some homeless too.

Place is close to everything we wanted to do. Clean and friendly. Will book again if travel to Barcelona in the future.

Great Choice

From the moment we stepped inside everything was perfect. I did not get the young man that was at the front desk when we checked in early (looked a bit like Messi) but he was the perfect example of what exceptional customer service is like. Friendly, outgoing and courteous. The lobby is full of books and games. There is an option for breakfast. There is an elevator but we chose to take the stairs. Our room was positively perfect. I was excited to have bunk beds. There were Lindt sea salt chocolates, delicious boxed water, toothbrush/paste, comb and tissues (which was perfect since my husbands cold worsened). Very eco feeling and there were refill hand soap, shampoo and body wash. My favorite was the hand wash since it had rosemary, mint and lavender. The top bunk was FIRM. They have feather duvet covers so since I had my own blanket I spread that out on the mattress on night 2 for a softer bed. Excellent shower pressure no 2 options - hand spray or waterfall. Never heard any noise from other rooms. There is nothing you can lack in this area. Most places open well past midnight. Also, if you want you can have the window opened. Our room had a paper view of rooftops and Sagrada which I thought was wonderful vs looking at a wall. If the price was right I would definitely stay here again.

I was blown away by this hotel. I had spoken to them over messages about how I needed a room with strong AC as I am on medications that make me incredibly heat intolerant. What we (me and my husband) received was an ICE cold room, absolutely gorgeous, and the receptionist even brought us an additional standing fan for our room. The hotel is right in front of the Boqueria Market which was absolutely amazing for food options. All my must sees were walkable. The staff was so helpful and nice, setting us up with taxis and anything else we may need. See my pictures!!!

The room was clean and the bunk bed was great for my 2 teens. The balcony was a nice little area to people watch. Everything was near and walkable. There was a church in the corner. Gothic Quarter was about 10 mins away. The train station was also about a 5 min walk. The area was very busy even at midnight. But we didn't mind. We love the liveliness of the area. The elevator was pretty small, but we were on the 2nd floor so using the stairs was fine. Overall, it was a nice experience.

This was an amazing experience - our room got upgraded and it was absolutely beautiful. The area is perfect - you can walk anywhere in the gothic district so quickly, the architecture is beautiful. The staff was SO kind and amenable, I just cannot recommend this hotel enough.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was great - walkable distances to La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter, El Born, Barceloneta and other tourist areas, and also near a metro stop. The hotel itself was clean, and the one small issue we did have (a leak) they fixed immediately. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was a very cute and lovely hotel. We arrived late and stayed for one night, but the staff was very helpful and friendly. The only issue was that the air conditioning was not working, and they advised us to open the window for ventilation. Unfortunately, opening the window let in a lot of outside noise, making it impossible to sleep. We only stayed one night, so perhaps they would have addressed the issue if we had stayed longer
