Nice location in the old town, stayed here a few days whilst in Hanoi. Good value for money.

Good Location and Good Price

Stayed a few times whilst in Hanoi. Good location, good price. WiFi is a bit hit and miss depending on what room you are in.

I'd avoid this hotel, it's not up to the standards. The only good side of this was location and wifi. I informed them that I will be arriving early in morning and if that's ok to check in. Got message from hotel thats ok. I go there there was receptionist didn't know that I was coming and thoght I would come at night 9pm. I was asked to come back later. Somewhere around 11am got message that my room is ready. I went there got checked in to room. I booked panoramic double room(balcony). Instead I was given queen room which felt like prison. When I notified to reception lady she was oppologetic and told me that room i booked in had leak and can not give any other room. Offered me 300k dong discount. I had no choice but to take it as full refund was not available. The room was not cleaned, bed, pillow and fridge had hair. The bathroom hot water pressure is so bad you might want take cold shower. When you complain to receptionist she asked to WhatsApp her the problem.

The hotel is well-located. Despite it being in the middle of the city center, it is not a noisy room. So you can relax after a whole day tour. Cleanliness is ok. Just be sure that when the hotel says "we upgraded" your room, it is really for an upgraded one. It is not a room that they wanted to change you into because they hope to have more guests in the other rooms.

Checkin anytime, 24-hour checkin with prior advise. Staff are very helpful in finding your way around Hanoi.

SCAM! We booked this hostel but when we arrived were told there was a 'problem' with our room. Not overbooked, nor would they tell us what the problem was. Due to this 'problem', they had booked us in to a disgusting shack of a hotel down the road for the same price! When we said we wouldnt be staying there they then refused to refund us. AVOID!

Best service I've ever had

I don't normally leave reviews, but felt the need to for my stay at the Lotus. We recieved an unparalleled level of service which ive never seen before. The staff went out of their way to be as friendly and accommodating as possible. The owner actively sits down with you and asks you what you plan to do in Hanoi and offers advice and service. The staff smiles and greets you whenever you enter or leave. The place isn't without its flaws but at the price it's nothing to complain about. The tv was small but we only used it as background noise. My husband thought he smelled mold the first day (I did not) which he bought an air freshener the first day for. It evidently fixed the issue. The bed wasn't very soft, and the furniture was ikea level, but I didn't come to Hanoi to spend time in my hotel room. I've never before had a hotel owner give me his card and say if I ever got lost he'd personally come and pick me up.

Friendly hostel

Good value hostel with very friendly staff and owner. Is more of a budget hotel really. Breakfast was very good!

Ice cold water in shower. Room was alright

There was zero hot water in hotel for 2 days. Asked front desk about it. They said run it for 15 minutes. I ran it for 30 minutes still never got hot.disappointing. room was somewhat clean. Staff was ok

Close to city centre

Nice location. Near to where all the tourists normally stay in hoan kiem.. A bit noisy at night dud to traffic. Clean bed and friendly staff.

Amazing staff!

The staff was amazing! Always making you feel like family. The beds are comfy with good pillows and blankets. They also let us store our luggage there when we went to Ha Giang for the motorbike loop! When we got back from the loop, it was my birthday and the staff surprised me with a birthday cake! Would highly recommend this hostel to any one!

Perfect stay

The hostel is perfect for travelers on a budget. It is centrally located in old hanoi and close to all services. The staff make it like a home and you're part of the family. Definitely be staying here again

oh, this is the review for the booking they told me marked as no show, apparently no true as i can leave it, so, thanks for helping me, and honestly even asking me to leave a 10 star review after u did get my money for 2 nights instead of 1. funny, you know sometimes flexibility and trying to help your guest is more valuable than any free-by or facilities. Bathrooms are very dirty and i had to ask for toilet paper twice. if u have mobility issues ask not to be on the 3rd floor, stairs are quiet narrow. And the rooms don t have what the descriptions says. Windows on the street, so very noisy.

Comfortable hotel

This hotel is in cbd which you can go everywhere easily.

Convenient hotel

We only stayed one quick night. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. The room is at the top of five flights of stairs, though, so we were lucky we had backpacks! Missed breakfast sadly, too. Great location in the old town.

Very good value in old Hanoi.

This was a well-run and clean hostel in old Hanoi close to several good food options. The young staff speak English well and are very helpful. It is very good value for the low cost charged for the rooms here. Overall, the place just has a nice atmosphere.

Convenient and clean hostel

Basic hostel with excellent service and great vibe.

1階がサロンで、2階以上が宿泊施設になっているため、直ぐに見つけにくいですが、部屋の設備やアメニティに不満はありませんでした。

部屋は及第点

私が泊まった部屋は予約の写真の部屋とは全然違った。(サイトの写真全部見たら泊まったのと同じ部屋あったけど…笑) もしかするとこちらがフライト中でホテルからのメッセージに気付けなかったのもあるかもしれないしそこまで気にしてはいないけどね。 部屋は掃除は最低限で適当な感じかな、エアコンはあまり効きは良くない。でも、強力な扇風機もあるからとりあえずは大丈夫です。 ホテルのスタッフもいい感じの人達でした。 場所は少し喧騒から外れた旧市街の西側。地元の人達が行く飲食店が多い感じで自分は好き。 バス停は近くにあまりないのでバス移動するならば不便です。

Très bon rapport qualité /prix. Le monsieur à l’accueil est très gentil mais ne parle pas un mot d’anglais. Notre chambre avait une petite cuisine mais nous n’avions pas de serviettes de toilette.

Alloggiavamo nella stanza 201, a parte la scarsa pulizia, la cosa inammissibile con quelle temperature ed umidità era l'aria condizionata non funzionante! Abbiamo trascorso 2 notti d'inferno! Dopo la prima abbiamo chiesto il cambio camera ma ci hanno detto che l'avrebbero aggiustata. Al nostro ritorno, alla sera, ovviamente questo non era avvenuto e, con la scusa che non c'erano altre camere disponibili, ci hanno lasciati bollire in stanza. Premetto che all'esterno della struttura c'era la scritta che c'erano camere disponibili! Evitare se potete!

快適ですが大きな荷物の人は注意

ホテル内は綺麗に整えられていて快適です。エアコンも良く効きました。 唯一の問題点はエレベーター無しで階段のみな上、その階段の踏み板がとても小さく（特にコーナー部）危なく感じました。 低層階なら快適と思われます。４階以上は荷物が少ない人なら良いでしょうが、スーツケースの人はやめた方が良いです。

Réservé et payé mais plus de chambre dispo

Bonjour, Nous avions réservé dans l'hôtel pour la nuit. Nous l'avions choisi pour l'arrivée en 24/24 car nous arrivions sur les coups de 00h00. En arrivant, nous apprenons qu'ils n'ont finalement pas de chambre pour nous... Cependant, il est bien écrit lors de la réservation "chambre garantie et payée"... L'hôtel a appelé un autre hôtel juste à côté pour nous avoir une chambre. Heureusement... Cependant la chambre était catastrophique. Nous n'avons même pas voulu prendre de douche dans la salle de bain tellement c'était sale... Bref ma pire expérience surtout pour une nuit à 17€00... Je vous laisserai vous faire votre propre avis sur la situation. Le mien est clairement que l'hôtel s'est fait une marge entre la résa et la chambre que nous avons finalement eu via l'autre hotel. A 00h00 nous n'avons pas vraiment le choix que d'accepter...

Bra service

Vi bodde sammanlagt 3 nätter på Lotus Hostel, servicen var utmärkt och de hjälpte oss med allt vi ville ha hjälp med, så som boka transport, boka tur till Halong Bay, tvätt osv, mycket trevligt. Rummet var rent men badrummet var sådär, lite mögligt i duschen. Frukost ingick och var helt okej.

Zimmer ohne Fenster, Waschbecken fehlt von der Wand, Sehr laut . Für mich ist das Hotel no go.

Nice and kindly staffs and I could have a fun talking with staffs then they also provided me the best tour with including my criteria even I was thinking really long time and place is really good for sightseeing so I could just walk and trolling the town from the hotel. Thank you hanoi lotus hostel I’m appreciate you guys.

ロケーションが抜群に良い

部屋はそんなに良いとは言えないが、スタッフが対応良く気持ちが良かった。 ロケーションは良いです。歩きで旧市街を回れました。非常に利便が良いです。 朝食は毎日同じでしたが、私は問題ない食べました。 帰国日早朝のタクシーを頼みました、15$でした。

従業員の対応は丁寧親切、こちらのリクエストにしっかり応えてくれました。 設備については、クローゼットの建付けが良くなく閉まりづらい、ただし、料金から考えるとそれ相応かと思います。 全体的には清潔にしており、コストパフォーマンスは良い方だと思います。

Great value, affordable and nice hostel :)

only 2nd floor has a balcony, so I was the lucky one to get the balcony. The bed is quite high so I put some effort to go up to the bed. Room was clean, the staffs were always willing to help you, and the breakfast was fresh and warm. Location is nice since it's located in the old quarter area. The sink in a bathroom was kind of broken so the water often won't go down, but it was bearable for me. Hot shower available, which was so great beacause the weather of Hanoi in March is quite chilly.

괜찮은편이에요

위치는 호안끼엠에서 아주 조금만 걸으면 찾을 수 있구요~ 근처에 맥주거리랑 맛집등등 즐비해 있어요~ 찾기도 쉽구요~ 조식은 아침에 1층으로 가니 메뉴가적힌 종이를 주고 메인음식이랑 음료를 고르니 갖다주더라구요~ 저렴한 가격에 잘먹었어요~~

予約したデラックスドミトリーはありませんでした

チェックイン時「私はデラックス・ドミトリーを予約した」と言いましたが、「うちにはデラックス・ドミトリーはない、１種類だけ」との回答でした。またネットに載っている写真はきれいですが、実際はそれほどではありません。朝食は付いているのはありがたいのですが食堂には使用済のシーツが放り投げてあり、気分良くは食事できません。ただしチェックアウト後その部屋は使用させてもらいました。ありがとうございました。

ちょっとがっかり

評価点が高かったので予約しましたが、実際はまあまあという感じであまり期待しない方がいいです。ドミトリーはベッドの間隔が狭く、すれ違いの際は普通に歩けないくらいでした。室内の床の清掃はいい加減で前日の汚れが残っていました。個人用のロッカーはまあまあ大きかったです。スタッフの愛想が良いので評価点が高かったのではないかと思います。ただ、勧められたツアーは他の所より高かったので比較した方がよいです。また空港行きのタクシーの売り込みは全員にしてました。チェックインは午後２時厳守、チェックアウトは１１時半でした。

Somente a localização foi boa

Apesar da localização ser boa o quarto poderia ser mais limpo! Tínhamos que subir muitos lances de escada para chegar ao quarto!

Betyget är baserat på priset Vi bodde i ett dubbelrum, varmt vatten, bra läge dvs inte mitt i allt så d va lugnt på nätterna men bara nån minut att gå till där allt hände. Lyhörda rum. Trevlig personal va väldigt intresserade i att sälja på en turer..

Hostel with good service and breakfast

Good location so you can easily walk to all important sights of Hanoi. Friendly staff and probably the best hostel-breakfast in Vietnam!
