Property wasn't as shown on internet. My six foot husband couldn't walk in a basement with 5 and a halffoot ceilings. Basement isn't what i thought i was getting. House wouldn't be up to code where i live.
Ceilings very very low. TV didn’t work. Terrible communication.
The beach
Perfect location, excellent lodging . One bed on the top floor is cracking
Mouse in house
Although house offers spacious kitchen, reasonable bathroom options, the house has mice. Owner notified on day 1 of stay, and did not respond until day 3 of stay re: assistance in this regard. Uncomfortable and very squeaky beds.
TORONTO GET AWAY
Great little home from home. Be ause it's a basement there are a couple of low beam for somebody 6'3". There was some building works which made the entry tricky. The works are now cleared.
Check in not professional. People calling middle of the night to confirm security deposit payment apart from these had a good stay.
Checkin could be much more easier. People calling middle of night to confirm the security deposit payment. Not proffeasinoal.
Cozy basement apartment, newly outfitted. Convenient location and welcoming.
Loud sounds from the floor above in the morning.
Easy access with an access code. Clean and pictures are accurate. The bedroom was under very easily heard foot steps from the room above making it hard to sleep in .
This is a no
I left two days earlier than anticipated due to the people upstairs who are likely the owners watching tv and playing music until 2 am every night. The sounds are like they are right there. The fully equipped kitchen had no coffee maker or toaster. It was cheap but still not worth it and as of yet no response to my request for at least one of the nights refunded. STAY AWAY
Property was a basement suite with only three small windows providing natural light. Constant noise from subway (you can literally hear the trains passing nearby) and residents from upper suites. Obviously used until very recently as a residential suite - holes in walls, scuffed paint, etc. No actual staff on site; checked in via phone - staff were friendly and helpful. No certification paperwork displayed in suite left me wondering if this was in any way licensed/inspected.
The worst place I’ve ever stayed. It was a basement apt and it showed. My touched the ceiling in 2/3 of the apt. The drop ceiling in the bathroom made it impossible to per while standing. Same ceiling blocked the shower door from opening enough to let me in. Couldn’t watch tv because I was missing a remote. Awful experience.
Great location and cute house, very clean. Just needs a few finishing touches: such as a welcome letter or something with WiFi codes etc. I would charge slightly more to cover a couple of amenities like tea/coffee and milk on arrival for those like us who arrive late. But overall we were very happy here and the location is excellent for The Beaches. Stay Effortless were very good taking our calls after hours when we couldn’t work out the WiFi etc.

This was a lovely staycation. The house was beautiful, the owner was very nice. The tv didn't work the first night and the fireplace didn't seem to work either. I texted the contact about the fireplace and never heard back. The second day people showed up with a new tv. They were very nice but again seemed odd that there was no communication about them coming. In the end it was great cause then we had a tv to watch. The sheets on the bed on the main floor looked dirty and had stains on them. Looking past all that, the house is stunning, it's private, quiet, the balconies are so nice, and the owners (when they respond) are very nice.
