Everything about this hotel was incredible. Attention to detail was beyond belief! We were late arriving and the communication was fantastic. Room open, key left, note on the door bubbly and beer in the fridge plus a few treats. The lady on reception in the morning was so sweet to…. Room was beautiful and 5 minutes from everything you need. Exceptional place! Thank you so much 😊

When i booked tge room i deliberately choose a room that was classed as accessible but when we arrived the new owner insisted that we had a room upstairs and with a climb into the shower- 1st fail. Rooms on the ground floor had not been checked so it wouldn't have hurt to swap 2nd fail. New owner didn't try to help even when we said we had been coming to same hotel for over 15 years 3rd fail. Prices had gone up 50% with no justifying improvement - 4th fail. No friendly finishing touches like the heating turned on as it was cold - final fail at checkin WORST fail of all was black mould coming out if the jets in the spa bath

Very clean. Allowed us early entry, which was wonderful after arriving from the overnight ferry into Picton and driving into town. Much appreciated.

Well equipped and well maintained. Hot tub is a real plus after drive. Location is lovely right on seafront. Check in was smooth and everything in the room functioned well. Would stay again on next visit to Kaikoura.

10/10+. My family and I want to say a special thanks to Sue. From the moment we arrived after having been in a car accident - she expressed her concern and compassion. She allowed us to check in early. She continued to ask how we were doing. She even dropped a bottle of champagne off to our room that evening. The White Morph is a beautiful place to stay and we can’t say enough for the people who work there and manage it. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

It was a very cold wet miserable afternoon and the staff had the heating on for us which was great.

Perfect Kaikoura Sanctuary

This is my favorite place to stay in Kaikoura. Beautiful views, lovely location. Lots of extras to make your stay even more enjoyable with attention to detail. We will definitely book again when we return.

I loved staying here. The room was incredible, spa bath and a sea view from the balcony to watch the dolphins with a coffee was just perfect. Cannot recommend it enough.

Amazing place, didn't want to leave. Everything was just perfect.

Nice little room. Didn’t receive upgrade as Mgr informed us that the next highest room was unavailable however we could have upgraded even further but at a ridiculous cost. Staff were helpful and very friendly. We only stayed the 1 night and that was enough .

Property lived up to its star rating. We had an upstairs room with sea views and found it extremely relaxing. Great Stressless chairs and heated bathroom floor.

Got upgraded for the big house because the property is actually quite far from the beach, about 30mins walk. The house itself is very new, including furniture and appliances also new. But there is still paint smell all around the house and dead insects all over the floor/carpet.

Very very nice. Loved the chairs with foot rests and the ability to move them in the space. First place I stayed where the tv is on a very large movable bracket so can watch it from anywhere in the room. Awesome view of ocean. Short walk to food(lots of choices). Best thing was the bed, it was like sleeping on a cloud.

It's always a good day when I'm in Kaikoura and is made even better by staying at the White Morph with beautiful views of the sea and the mountains. Nothing is ever too much trouble when you ask for extras and all the staff from the cleaners to the owners are always so friendly. I've been coming to stay here for over 10 years now and will continue to do so.

Great place to stay. Only issue was the shower. We were in the studio suitable for disabled persons. Floor was so wet.

We liked the spa bath but the bath needed resurfacing and jets required more cleaning.

Great contact by staff to coordinate as we were arriving late, friendly greeting in the morning and ease of check out as had to get on the road early. Lovely and clean, with easy parking right outside the room. Quick walk across the road in the morning to soak in the gorgeous view. Recommend!

Poor outlook with little privacy from ground floor room that looks out over a lawn to a carpark. Expensive compared to other similar stays and compared to other similar accommodation in Kaikoura.

We traveled as a family and the accommodation was good and spacious. We loved the service and will stay there again.

This is a welcoming place.

Location was good close to the main I went there for. I got put in the disability access room for some strange reason as there are other rooms available. Another negative is being right under a room with children. The noise and floor thumping was not enjoyable. All in all a pleasant stay.
