Wondering place!
good location and service
I’ve been to this property 5/6 weekends in a row. Which is painful because I’ve driven from Edmonton to here. However my love of Whistler is undeniable. This stay was sadly one of the worst stays, most of the time it’s been good. But this stay was disappointing because the dishes inside the dishwasher had food particles everywhere after cleaning. Maybe the food was too heavily caked on. Great aspect was housekeeping replaced everything immediately. But when it came to washing dishes we had no dish towel again but housekeeping happened to bring a new one too. Then we bought a pizza and realized there was no tray to heat it up. Therefore they brought that too:.. this trip was a lack of items. A lot of inconveniences compared to fully stocked days when I came previous weeks. Oddly this trip was weird because the next day after eating breakfast I had a lot of skin rashes all over, arms legs back neck stomach. I decided to check out early and complained to the manager on my way out. She mentioned that because it’s an Expedia booking nothing she can do. However this doesn’t surprise me and oddly I would come back here again for more punishment.
Good service
This is beside the excalibur gondola ride which is great for people that want to ski etc . there is also a late night bar as well as Japanese resto options to eat until 10. We chose this for the pool and hot tub options as well. We love the overall experience. We had our own balcony where you can go and have coffee . The bed is great it feels smooth but firm at the same time. Thanks Westin Whistler. We will come back
Consistently good hotel.
Great atmosphere and staff. Everything is clean, cozy and done with taste. I also want to note the friendliness of the staff to any requests.
everything was great
Service was impeccable….fast and friendly. Great amenities. One of the best hotel stays we’ve had in a long time!
Very clean room and amenities. Incredible service. We had issues with our hotel room tv but was quickly dealt with.
Best location, fabulous rooms.
Great stay. Super close to lift.
We love this place. Free upgrade during Christmas too. Our go to spot in Whis
Clean, convenient, friendly and helpful staff
Great, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Would def stay again
Clean and upscale
We have to wait for 2 of our rooms for approximately 2 hours.
wonderful place!
V disappointing our room didnt even have a window. Steam room not working, overcharged on departure. Light in room not working and it goes on ….
In general, ok
Great
Staff at check in were no help. Overpriced, definitely not worth it. Won’t stay at this hotel again.
OK stay. Great location, breakfast. Room was a bit awkwardly designed.
Location is great and the set up is convenient. Check in seemed to be lacking staff
good
Lots of dust
Great friendly service and location thx Dave and Lyndsay
Bellman and valet service is very helpful for everything from ski supply shopping tips to parking to hauling and storing our stuff. Room was clean and convenient. Close access to lifts and dining.
The room could use a deep cleaning and dust off the lamps so the property shines.
Nice room, clean, quiet, up to date.
It was nice to be upgraded to a one bedroom suite however I’m not sure if it was a curse or a good thing. With gold member Marriot I know I get an upgrade but the room was a huge disappointment. The pillows were like rock hard and uncomfortable, hard to sleep too many layers and sweated more than expected. The worst part was there was virtually no hot water. I have to turn the hot water to maximum and wait for nearly 20 mins to get some mediocre water. It’s very disappointing. The fireplace sometimes worked. Walls are paper thin including the hallway door. I believe there was a family and few children running up and down the halls screaming at all times of the night. Wish it was a better stay. I moved to another hotel for the night I’m not sure if I’ll be back. It’s not like it used to be.
Great view out huge windows in the loft suite.
Excelent
My car got damage from valet parking yesterday.
I highly recommend this hotel because of the location and cleanliness and also kind staff.
Excellent, heartwarming experience
Very friendly staff overall. Make sure you rent ski equipment in hotel’s sport shop. These guys know what it is all about and are super cheerful and friendly. I hardly left the hotel in the evening. In the bar they mix the best drinks ever, even the ones that are not on the menu. The place is super cozy and nice. Easy to relax and chill in this ambiente. They serve excellent food in the bar or you can visit the hotel’s sushi restaurant just next to the bar. Again, super food and super friendly staff. In short: after two days it feels like home. I travelled alone, which can be awkward. But definitely not at the Westin. Thumbs up👍
.
Beautiful and with perfect location, good sauna and heated pool. I’ll be back during summer!
The staff here are amazing!
I specifically chose the Westin because of the Heavenly bed, however, it was not as comfortable. It was worn and saggy. However, the location was great, as well as the breakfast buffet. Also, we lucked out with Bratz Biz craft fair and the holiday craft fair.
This hotel was the best we have stayed in from the time we stepped in the first day. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.
The Westin Resort in Whistler is hands down one of the best locations to stay. It’s perfectly situated right next to the village gondola, making it incredibly convenient for skiing. Everything in the village is within walking distance, yet despite being in the heart of the action, the hotel is wonderfully quiet—you don’t hear any noise from outside. One of the highlights for our family was the indoor and outdoor heated pool. After a full day on the slopes, it became our kids’ favorite spot to relax and play. The ski valet service is another standout feature, making it so easy to store and access our gear. The combination of comfort, convenience, and thoughtful amenities has set the bar high for us. I honestly don’t think we could stay anywhere else in Whistler after experiencing the Westin. Highly recommend!
The pool area was full of children running around and screaming. Parents would drop them Off and leave them. There were Babies with diapers in the hot tub along with other young children. Young children under 6 years old should not be in the Hot tub. A young child was on the elliptical with a bath robe and slippers. I have stayed here before and really enjoyed it. I am planning on choosing another upscale hotel or house next time I stay there.
Always feels luxurious with great service.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Westin. Location is great. It's at the edge of the village but still walkable and very close to the ski gondola. The room was clean and spacious. We used the gym a couple of times and found it well equipped. The hot tub and swimming pool area was super crowded in the afternoon but if you are an early riser you can enjoy the pool all for yourself in the morning which was relaxing. The only (minor) complaint is the slow check in and check out process due to long lines. Another complaint is the absurdly expensive parking rate, but that's normal for Whistler.
This is a beautiful in a great location. The gondola is right outside the hotel. There are lots of great dining options within walking distance.
One of the best places to stay in Whistler
Beautiful hotel and great guest services
Very convenient to access the gondola and shopping area. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
Wo, it’s amazing. Everything is let me feel great. Net time I will come back again.
Our go to place in Whistler :)
The central location
It was excellent three days to spend with friends.
Great location, clean, quiet and convenient.
If you’d go up mountain, Westin is definitely the best hotel is Whistler. Perfect location with gondola and snow school just around the corner. Comfy rooms with friendly staffs. Peak season can get very busy though.
Best 2 Night Get-a-way!!!
Amazing hotel, brought our dog too, we used the gym, pool & restaurant… totally recommend this place… great staff too. Clean, fast elevator, great location… Thank you, Heather
Clean and great location.
Was not happy with the checkin service we received from the front desk staff. Not friendly or welcoming at all. We checked in early and were promised a phone call as soon as our room would be available. After 2 hours of waiting, we received no call so we had to go back to the front desk. The lady tried to justify the situation and took no accountability of the guest experience. The room was ready and no one called us. For such a large chain of hotels, this is not the kind of customer service I expect from your establishment. As far as the room and property itself is concerned, we had a wonderful stay. The amenities and more specifically the pool was very nice and relaxing. The hotel is conveniently located and walkable to restaurants, shopping and sightseeing within Whistler Village.
Noisy at night Shower had low water pressure
100/10
Spacious, quiet and staff are very helpful. 😁
Very nice place
It was great
Great service. Were able to accommodate our request for a slightly earlier check in and room was spotless and clean. Will be back in the future.
Great service
We had a great stay and would return again.
Stayed with 2 young children. The property was clean and has lots to do. Very easy walk to the villiage
Excellent location staff were super helpful especially the bell boys
We arrived before our room was ready but everyone was so nice. Stored our luggage, valet parked the car. The room was beautiful. Two bedroom suit with everything but we were staying one night. Lots of great food and shopping.
Very generous and attentive staff. We really enjoyed the food and service at the on-site restaurants. Would definitely stay again!
Best location
Perfect place to stay
They need a dog menu
Amazing hotel.
Service fantastic! Facility spotlessly clean!
Nice indoor outdoor pool
Its a nice hotel with a nice pool and hottub. Buffet breakfest a little pricey though it was good. I liked the view of the golf course. Closer to town than I thought. Room was well equiped.
Nice room, although housekeeping was missed one day it was rectified. The shuttle was very convenient and the staff helpful and quick. Richard at the front desk was wonderful, very friendly and went out of his way to accommodate a late check out request.
Great place to stay
It was probably the nicest hotel I've stay at in Whistler. I will definitely aim to come back here. The pool was nice, the hotel is massive, and the room/suite was larger than expected for the price point
Staff are extremely helpful and courteous. The property had all that we were looking for to enjoy our weekend away. We will definitely be back in future.
Although this property is beautiful, parking is not! Parking is shared with public outside of hotel so it is difficult to find spots as many are reserved. I recommend the valet. We went out to dinner and could not get a spot on any level when we returned so we had to leave the car to be valeted. Also I booked a one bedroom suite and the pictures showed a balcony or a patio and was disappointed that our room didn’t have one.
Great!
GOOD
So clean, amazing sights.
It was great stay.
Great location and hotel!
Nice hotel Close to village so we walked everywhere
Wonderful experience.
What a fabulous place to stay. The location is perfect and the staff are incredibly personable and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Staff was very nice. Beautiful area. Room very comfortable. Beds were amazing and Lounge was convenient and food was superb
Great location
always top notch thank you
The location is very convenient with easy access to restaurants and stores. Facilities are a little old but well maintained.
I thought the property was beautifully maintained. Loved our room. Everything we needed was at our fingertips and very walkable. Definitely will come back!
We love the Westin. Our Golden Retriever does too.
Was a good stay
.
It was rainy and cold in Whistler last week but no matter the room was so nice and cozy with a fireplace it was a delight to stay in!
Received a suite upgrade and it was amazing. Best hotel room I’ve ever been in! I’m so thankful!
The facility is very accessible to everything! I really enjoyed my stay.
Excellent stay
As someone who frequently travels and stays in high end resorts and hotels I was very disappointed in the fact that they didn’t have a welcome bottle of wine as well as any toiletries. As in they only provided a bar of soap. They didn’t provide any other shower or bathroom toiletries. No bathrobe was provided. No slippers. It really felt like a motel 8 bottom of the barrel
Very convenient, right next to the gondola and everything.
