Nice hotel in good location

Rooms and overall experience met expectations but one week later holding fee on check-in has still not been refunded which is not ideal. On query by phone they said it will take 10 business days !

Extremely helpful & friendly staff. Honestly wouldn’t say it was worth the $500 per night when there are similar properties within the area.

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent Air-Con. Clean room. One of Brisbane's best hotel pools. Great buffet breakfast - hot and cold. If you don't like their coffee, there are lots of coffee shops nearby - but you probably will like it! Onsite valet parking. My only problems: I am allergic to perfume and their White Tea bathroom products, and over fragranced foyer/lounge are difficult for me. Does any hotel have a good hairdryer? I am doubtful! The hotel is older now and could do with new hallway carpet, but they chose the original decor to last. None of these observations would stop me staying again.

High quality facilities and helpful, efficient staff

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was small but lovely and clean. Lovely soft colours and the smell inside the hotel was divine

We had a very pleasant stay here and the staff were very helpful.

Excellent facilities. Pool and steam room are amazing. Early checkin and late check out were easily arranged with reception.

The pool was awesome. The bes was deliciously comfy!

The friendliest staff

Room was clean, but dusty in some areas. Was disappointed about the pool. On the weekends they hire out the cabanas to non-hotel guests that hotel guests aren't allowed to reserve! Double dipping and the high paying hotel guests have nowhere to sit and the pool was very busy with noisy drunk outsiders. Not relaxing whatsoever and I chose this hotel specifically for the pool. Otherwise, classy hotel with excellent service and beautiful rooms.

Well located in the CBD. A great bar that also has live music the night we stayed.

The hotel was fantastic, everything was exceptionlly clean, the room was great and how you would hope every room was in every hotel.

Cosy soft bed i melted in

Unfortunately did not enjoy the hotel as id like as id fallen sick . Bed was comfortable room was so spacious, clean, hate the pepsi brand options for mini bar needed lemonade 7up is not lemonade... but i do hope to visit and enjoy the hotel properly in future and in hope to eat at Settimo as i missed on dinner there. Staff were friendly upon check in and out especially the concierge team. Im finding buffet breakfast are becoming all the same and did hope having club access itd be a bit more woah but not really and pretty basic non appealing

The hotel was very nice and the breakfast included in the executive lounge was great. The staff member that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The only negatives were the view from the back of the building (straight into an apartment building) and the sofa bed was not made up despite us having booked for four people.

A little disappointing for the price

We were very much looking forward to our stay and it was very expensive. The room itself was very big and luxurious, but we were looking directly into someone’s kitchen with no view except someone else’s living room and kitchen whatsoever. We asked to be moved but were told it was not possible. We tried not to let it ruin our stay but the outlook was terrible and we found it hard to enjoy the room. Pool and club access were great.

Quick trip in Brisbane, The Westin delivered!!

Incredible new build hotel, with great access to the Brisbane shopping areas. Was no more than a 5 minute walk. The swimming pool in this hotel was amazing with the swim up bar. I could have spent the whole day on this level!!

Beautiful hotel and facilities, we were hoping for a spa but to our surprise there wasn’t one! Otherwise good price and breakfast was amazing.

Swim up bar was great - meals were lovely - bed was comfy

Overall our hotel & experience was fantastic. The only issue we had was that our bathroom had a bathtub but no plug.

Great hotel and location, very clean and modern. Was a little disappointed with the housekeeping as they missed one of our rooms. Even after we spoke to reception only our towels were replaced. The beds were not made and toiletries were not replenished which was disappointing for a highly rated hotel.

Staff were polite and helpful. I had to wait over 25 mins to get my car was the only negative but overall a great experience.

Great property but advertised as having the only swim up bar in Brisbane but it never opened and the main restaurant wasn’t even open on a Monday night. The breakfast wasn’t great. Definitely not worth the additional money.

Beautiful rooms. Great amenities. Walking distance to an assortment of restaurants and the Queens botanical garden. The perfume in the lobby was a little overpowering but other than that a very pleasant stay

Needing a place at the last minute we paid more than i would usually for an overnight stay, but it was great to be so luxuriously cared for. But the cost is huge for an out of towner. Cities are by tgeir very nature expensive, but a bit of a shock paying $60 to watch your car disappear and reappear after quite a long wait. Fabulous hotel- just out of my cost comfort zone. Very accesible for wheelchair and crutches, by the way

Clean pleasant and convenient

The place was amazing if anything the shower could’ve been better but a really nice room.

The room was really clean and comfy. Helpful staffs at reception. The breakfast was delicious especially the bakery sections but slightly disappointing due to understaff and overcrowding.

Lovely hotel for a staycay. Everything was perfect except that the staff upon check out didn't apply the dining package discount and over charged me $90 imn which I had to follow up on the next day.

Short stay in city

Comfortable, modern hotel. The pool area is a great space with swim up bar. Beds in double room are a little small but very comfortable.

Great place to stay

Beautiful clean hotel, lovely staff, fantastic services. Great location for both the city and Southbank. Stayed 4 nights as a family with 2 kids. Could not fault the hotel, would definately stay here again

Great position in the city only comment I would make it needs ti have a toilet on the same floor as the gym that is accessible 24/7 as the pool is closed after hours were toilet are located

Modern and stylish. Nice big bathroom. Well layed out and very comfortable rooms. Great bar downstairs and a very convenient location in the heart of Brisbane.

Booked for an event for a family of 5 2 adults 3 teenagers Room had 1 bed 1 bathroom And double sofa (not setup) Apparently that’s sleeps 5 people Paid a premium price And not enough beds for everyone teenager expected to share a double sofa

Staff went above and beyond. No noisy bars. Fast lifts.

The hotel is very clean and fresh. Male staff member at front counter was unfriendly and not helpful. Room was not ready in a timely manner and they could not advise when it may be available, we were turned away 3 times being told to ‘try again later’. One of the reasons we booked the Westin was for its swim up bar however this was closed even though it was advertised as being open all year round.

A bit pricey for what you got, but pleasantly nice

A very nice stay at Westin, staff offered an upgrade upon arrival. The Settimo restaurant on site is outstanding. Comfortable bed and very clean room. Happy to stay again

Stay next door at Four Points

Place is really nice however allow a lot of time for check in, lost paperwork and tried to say an accessible room was an upgrade.

Outstanding place to stay in Brisbane, with beautiful facilities.

The pool and gym were really nice. So was the breakfast. The rooms also had a dressing gown and slippers for a bit of luxury! I highly rate The Westin! Great location too.

Great hotel, road works were a bit noisy early in the morning, no pool bar

The staff were lovely from the outset. Allowed me to check in to my room early as I was attending a wedding. Made the whole process so much easier. Assisted with baggage and went above and beyond to ensure all guests were taken care of. I live in Brisbane but would definitely sign up for a staycation here !!

nice hotel and staff

there were a few issues but were all fixed the next day after reporting it to Dan! at least the ones they seemed to have control of - room coffee machine malfunction, lamp bulbs but phone service outages, computer system outages at check out were problematic. the check in staff Isabella and Sarah were great; as was staff and entertainment in the hotel bar. a prettygood location but quite a bit of construction going on around the hotel. the taxi guys were excellent - especially Ken.

Anniversary Weekend Away

Arrived to a very friendly reservation staff member that was so helpful with our requests. Nothing was too much. Then arrived in our beautiful room to gourmet chocolates and bottle of bubbles with a note for our Anniversary. The room was gorgeous but the pool with swim up bar was spectacular! Our new favourite hotel for a Brissy City break. Everything was superb!!

great location and amenities

Good place to stay however not 5 stars and maybe not worth the price. It would have been nice if they had replaced the tea bags and maybe supplied a free snack as in biscuits. Also free bottle of water were not replaced (I stayed 3 nights) Television was painful to work and no program.

Luxury, Modern Accomodation

Great modern luxury accommodation. Fantastic customer service. Excellent location and facilities.

A true 5 star hotel experience.

Close to CBD shopping , room always clean, friendly staff happy to assist with all requests. Draw back was pool access too many unsupervised children jumping & screaming in the pool whilst trying to relax. Badly behaved children made this part of the experience less than desirable. Washing machines noisey in early hours when we were trying to sleep

Wonderful

My partner and I stayed in an executive room for the night and really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, the bed was huge and bedding was so comfortable. The swim up pool bar was nice (could do with some more seating for busy periods though). We enjoyed the club lounge as an extra perk of our stay. It was perfect for drinks, dinner and breakfast. Not sure what more you could ask for really! Thanks a bunch.

Quality but misses the mark

The concierge staff, front desk and Room Sercive staff were excellent. Our room was very modern with quality appointments and clean. Breakfast in the Club Room was a god send as the main restaurant was noisy and jam full. The swimming pool and swim up bar on a Saturday felt like a Bali club. Over run with noisy kids, every lounge, seat and possible space occupied. It felt way over capacity and the poor staff looked exhausted. We left them to it and exiting the hotel for the afternoon. Sadly, the hotel does not serve cocktails at 9pm because they were expecting to get busy - even though there were 3 behind the bar of which, 1 barman was polishing glasses and the other was cleaning the coffee machine. For a quality hotel chain, this was unexpected and very disappointing. For this reason, I would pick another hotel next time.

The pool was basically unusable. First day told unavailable from 4pm. Second day large group of revelers basically made the pool unusable. Dirty plates and drink glasses everywhere. Roudy and dangerous behavior. Pool rules ignored and no policing.

Overall all good. But checkout is not smooth and breakfast is not as good as 5 stars. The hotel defaults to charge credit card fees via online booking hotel.com . But I said my card is not a credit card so I don’t wanna pay for $16 fees. The staff told me I have to pay again for two night $1000 plus use another card ( saving or cash) then they can release the online booking payment with no fees. Which means I got $1000 plus on hold cannot be released until a few days later. I told her I also need to do other things so I don’t wanna be held for $1000 plus. She ask me which bank I am with. She doesn’t know Australian one of the big four banks name which surprises me. Then she talk to a supervisor who even more ridiculously said she doesn’t control the bank. The supervisor/ manager told the staff she can manually adjust the system and change to No credit card fee charge. And told me that I don’t understand their hotel system. Sounds like customer is stupid and my fault and I don’t understand how online booking works. I told her I stay in many 5 star hotels , and many online booking never charge credit card fees as my card is not credited card even the system default shows is credit. So she know how to manually adjust their system. If the hotel cannot train the staff especially the supervisor or manager how to talk to customer, then they should not work at the front desk and assume customer is stupid and they cannot control the bank. I never ask if she can control the bank.

Great location. The service staff went over and above to cater for our dietary requirements. The hotel is very cool and modern. We loved sitting in the main bar area watching the city pass us by. Incredible swimming pool and breakfast was amazing

We stayed for the night for my wifes birthday and was welcolmed with a bottle of wine and cheese platter in the room. The swim up bar was great the staff are very friendly was a great place highly recommend

6 STAR RATING - EXCELLENT HOTEL & FRIENDLY STAFF

Fantastic hotel in Brisbane city, my first stay here and won't be my last. The size of the rooms are spacious, lovely decor, facilities and amenities. Great pool and gym area and walk to everything. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and shout out to Ben and Jerome (?) on reception and a lovely gentleman at Valet whose name escapes me.

Fold out couch bed was not suitable for the children, option to watch Netflix worked temporarily, they really need to upgrade their tvs for easy streaming options. Other than these, great hotel, and buffet breakfast and pool were both lovely.

The location of this property was fantastic however there were issues with our air conditioning not working and hot water not available in the shower that were frustrating. Would not stay again, based on these facts
