Enjoyed my stay. Very nice property but no parking was available which is an inconvenience considering it’s located downtown in Austin where parking should be offered for the price.

Good stay except for the incident

A piece of molding in the room came off very easily and hit me on the shoulder in the back of the head. I informed the front desk to have this room serviced and to check the other rooms to make sure they weren’t fashioned in the same way.

Great Spot in Austin

Great spot. Great location. Great rooftop patio/pool/bar. Only issue was the noise at night from the surrounding bars. But nothing you can do.

Convenient to restaurants and nightlife.

We had a great evening. The room was clean and comfortable, but we were woken up by two or three different parties coming in between 1-3 am and the breakfast was just ok. There were really limited options for dairy-free, light and kids.

I made two separate reservations through the expedia app and still had several charges on my card for no reason they charged an extra night

Clean

It seemed more dated overall than other Westin properties I’ve stayed in. The bed was of course amazing! The bathroom was meh.

Couples getaway perfect location

Amazing hotel with perfect location, loved the roof top bar and swimming pool. Hotel staff were super friendly and top notch, would definitely stay here again.

It was nice and clean close to everything

We love Westin Austin Downtown hotel because they have a really good vibe, cool rooftop with pool and a bar, you can also order food. We love to go to Antones blues bar, its across the hotel.

Supwr hotel

There is not 24/7 room service. This was very disappointing, because that was one thing we specifically wanted. Also, the “electric vehicle charging” is only for Valet and cost over $60. Hotels.com needs to be more accurate.

Great app

Property was amazing, the staff were helpful and friendly. Walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and bars on 6th street. Dislikes were the Pool upstairs is very small and not kid friendly it was like an adult pool party hangout area and No parking unless valet parking which was about $60 but everything was perfect.

Lovely stay in Austin

Beautiful hotel. Awesome rooftop pool/bar. Food was delicious at the restaurant and the location was perfect. That said, our room looked out on the 4th floor roof, which was apparently being worked on. Not great but it is what it is for a last minute rez! Bed was a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, lovely.

The hotel and staff exceeded expectations. Clean, attractive, rooms, very comfortable beds.

Very good hotel experience.

The hotel was good. However, I was dissatisfied with the way they run their pool area. People with day passes have more rights than the people staying in the hotel. The lady in charge of the pool area was rude and didnt let anybody to seat on the couches because they were “reserved” which most of the time they were empty.

Nice hotel within walking distance to restaurants. Parking at the hotel was very expensive, so we opted for one of the public garages a block or so away for about half the price. There is no porte cochere or entry signage at the hotel, so where to park and go during check-in was confusing. We opted for breakfast at the hotel's restaurant for an extra fee. Service and food was good. Hotel room was comfortable and quiet. Housekeeping service very good.

The Westin is within easy walking distance to the Austin convention center. The room and lobby was clean and modern. There are hotel employees stationed at the entrance to the hotel. There are drop off zones for the various ride services in front of hotel. When I was there, multiple unhoused people were living and sleeping nearby on E. 5th and surrounding streets. I did not feel safe to walk alone in the area after dark.

Fire Alarm

We love this hotel, however, we were awakened at 4AM with an announcement of a fire alarm. As we couldn’t use the elevators and walked down 10 flights of stairs, we waited outside for a long time until they let us come back in. They not only never told us what happened, they should have given us some compensation or courtesy due to the inconvenience.

The Westin Austin is fine, but I don’t think it warrants almost $400 a night. The rooms are basic and haven’t been updated in at least a decade. The food is quite good, but expensive.

Wonderful stay!

Very clean and comfortable room. Loved the city view. Had an amazing restaurant onsite. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay at this hotel in the future.

The staff were all super friendly, the hotel was in a super convenient location and was very clean. The restaurant was great also! The roof top pool was cool but unfortunately the weather wasn't great while we were there.

Staying at the Westin is always good! But this location is getting old, it needs an upgrade. Sofas on the lobby are ripping, pool very small.

Really nice hotel. Great shower. Wonderful beds. Very clean. Front desk staff are great. My only real complaint is that I planned on using Lyft and Uber since downtown, and this place is like a weird situation to pick up from? I got cancelled on twice because people can’t turn around on the street. Not the hotels fault though.

This hotel is over priced for the type of room and service specifically housekeeping (no service one day and very late the other).

My room had an excellent view. But the shower leaked water all over the floor. It wasn't caulked property, Im surprised it was undone this way. The toilet was very noisy.

Very busy with 6th street. The rooms were most definitely not worth the price. Valet only and what they charged us was not what was advertised to be charged. So just a meh from me.

I loved that i got a deal with the continental breakfast! I DID NOT like that valet was the only parking available, there should be guest parking/parking passes for the guest.

Stayed here to celebrate my anniversary weekend. Upon arrival the valet staff was friendly and check in was easy. We stayed on the fourth floor and had no issues with the elevators or entering the room. The room was clean and cool. There were no issues other than the toilet not having enough “pressure” when flushing. We had to flush twice each time we used it. Other than that we had no other issues during our stay.

One of the best hotel stays I have had in recent years. Great staff that work well together and provide service with a smile. Plenty of places to eat nearby and always felt safe.

This hotel is very nice and the beds are so comfortable. The lobby staff is attentive and we appreciated the champagne upon arrival. The restaurant is good, although we wished that room service was available late night (it ends at 10pm or 11pm). We loved that the food trucks are right around the corner and open almost all day/night. The hotel location is great for getting to 6th street and it's an easy walk to the capitol building. All in all a good stay.

A wonderful hotel with all the amenities! We enjoyed the bar in the lobby immensely. The Azua Bar at the rooftop was lovely too. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Great location!!

New Year’s Eve Weekend

New Year’s Eve Weekend. Absolutely loved the hotel beautiful. Everyone super attentive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing that was disappointing was the fact that we were hotel guests and could not attend the New Year’s Eve Party Rooftop. Apparently tickets to the event were sold on website and social media? However this hotel is not cheap and the fact that we were told the event rooftop had been sold out was unacceptable to me as we were staying there. Events such as these should guarantee hotel guests to attend, make us primary and those that are not staying there, charge them if you want to attend these type of events at your establishment I was very disappointed in this as this was the main focus of our trip

Excellent stay! Everything was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Perfect walking distance to many great spots. Only complaint is the valet parking, sometimes it takes 20 minutes to get your car. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Westin Austin Downtown. Our room was comfortable and clean. There were great dining options and the rooftop bar was amazing with beautiful views!

when we arrived the service was exceptional and we were assigned a room, but as we walked into our room we were instantly overwhelmed with a horrible smell. i went to the host and she assigned me a second room, which was perfect until i attempted to turn the power onto the television which did not work. i called the service desk from my personal phone sine the hotel phone didn't work(later learned by the maintenance man that the hand held dive needed to be replaced). lastly the shower floor had a large 4in x 1in gash with rust just waiting for someone to slide their foot across, i was told that it was on the schedule to be repaired soon.per the maintenance man.

Best check in I've had at a hotel, seamlessly smooth. Very quiet, even being next to the elevator.

The Westin is in a great location...close to the Austin Convention Center and a block away from 6th Streeet. Tons of restaurants and night life nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and met my expectations relative to the Westin brand.

I really enjoy this hotel, the staff were so professional and nice. The room is clean very up to date.

Valet service was expensive and terrible. 30 minute waits to get your car and 15 minute waits to drop off your car and rude valet staff. Would only stay here again if I didn’t have a car.

One Night Bday stay!

Amazing 14th birthday stay for our son, even just for the one night we stayed! Staff was wonderful and very friendly! My son ordered the steak frites from the restaurant downstairs and he said it was hands down the best steak he’s ever had!( No offense to his dad who loves to cook) lol!! Best rooftop view of the city! We definitely will be back for a longer stay next time! Thank you very much for our beautiful stay!
