Clean, well appointed, affordable gem

Excellent two night stay and will book again when I come back to the city. Warm, professional, and efficient staff. The entire property is neat as a pin, quiet, safe, and convenient. My room was well appointed with a mini kitchenette, electric kettle, and Nespresso maker - there's something so nice about being able to make coffee in the room. The bathroom was lovely with fluffy towels, Molton Brown toiletries, and a rainfall shower head. I also appreciated being able to store my luggage for free my last day in town. Very happy I booked this stay.

Lovely people, only 5 minute walk from Paddington Station with The Tube and Trains everywhere. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Everyone on the front desk was friendly and helpful. Spacious rooms for the area. Will definitely stay here in the future. Great location

An unexpected pleasure

Came across this hotel due to a late arrival at Gatwick after a flight cancellation. We were really impressed by the staff, the hotel and especially the room which was attractive, comfortable and well equipped. The little kitchenette was an unexpected bonus and the whole experience turned a travel problem (there were no trains back to Devon until the morning) into a pleasure Would not hesitate to return. Many thanks.

Nice location, quiet and clean. Surprised to see such a well stocked hotel room, felt like a home away from home. Fine touches, clean layout, good colour combinations in the room. Couldn't fault it. Had the room upgraded and staff were accommodating. Worth the trip

Excellent staff

I loved having the kitchenette and easy access to Hyde Park and Paddington, so I could come and go easily and relax in my room as well.

A Gem in Paddington

A warm welcome in the impressive reception/bar. Room a good size. Nicely designed. Good modern bathroom with spacious shower & good quality toiletries. The kitchenette is a real bonus & the complimentary water appreciated. Housekeeping thorough. Hotel is in a great position, a short walk from Hyde Park, tube, trains & buses. We plan to stay here again when we next visit London.

Superb stay and will stay again, no brekfeast but plenty of places around and good pubs. Loved the Molton Brown in the bathroom and so so clean, lovely staff on the reception.Hidden well located gem

It’s “fine”…location is great

The location is excellent. Rooms are extremely small and dated but they have everything you need so it technically is “good enough”. There is no restaurant or ability to purchase food at the hotel which was also a bit inconvenient. I ordered jn using Deliveroo app. Property needs to be upgraded for sure. Grout and caulking in shower was dirty and coming apart. Quick walk to Kensington Gardens and also Paddington Station if you need to get the Heathrow Express. I’ll continue staying there because it’s convenient but it doesn’t make me look forward to my stay or get excited.

The hotel was amazing and well maintained and upgraded, we loved the hotel and we tried to extend our stay but unfortunately it was full, the staff at reception the first day was very nice and helpful and the process was smooth and easy, BUT the STAFF at the time of our departure was very rude and very awkward and aggressive and I’m still wondering why? There was no reason for that attitude towards us. but after all the Hotel is one of the greatest hotels in London and I’m definitely coming back but all I hope is not facing the same staff I’ve mentioned

Clean comfortable and convenient location

The location of this property was excellent. It was within a 3 minute walk of two underground stations as well as nestled in a quiet part of Paddington that was walkable to a ton of restaurants. The area around the property felt safe and was quiet. The staff was friendly and welcoming and even had our room ready early when we arrived. The room was a good size but I think it would be a little small for more than two people (we stayed in the suite with a pull out couch). The room was pretty clean but did show little signs of wear. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Very conveniently located between Paddington and Lancaster Gate tube stations making it a good base for London sight seeing, plus with Hyde park right next to it, can get out and about for a walk in the park. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and room was immaculately clean. No room service, but had a small kitchen with hob and fridge (with complimentary water. No breakfast service, but this wasn't an issue as I picked something up en route to the museum. Would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding location. Staff were superb and super helpful. The double bed room was A-OK, and although I didn't think I would need a kitchen, it actually came in handy. Perfectly affordable place in a perfect location.

This is a great hotel in this price range for the area.

Some aspects of the unit needed attention (more thorough shower cleaning, minor repairs needed here and there, etc.). But as a whole, this was an excellent location for our first time in London.

The reception staff are so helpful, they make the world of difference to anyone’s stay and are an asset to the hotel.

Great Stay

Stayed here for the second time and we had a lovely stay, the hotel is in a great location, close to paddington station which makes it easy to get around London, the beds were comfortable and the shower was amazing! (I miss it). I will certainly be staying here again.

Clean

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past and never had the experience similar to this time. The first room assigned had dirty sheets. It seemed like no one changed the sheets after the previous guests left. The second room assigned described as an upgrade had the same issue of dirty linen, female hair on the bed and comforter. Smelled musty like a room closed for months has now been opened. Later of dust settled on the baseboards. The bathrooms have been renovated and the distance between the bathroom door and sink is 1 inch when the door is open. The establishment is under new ownership and it is not the same. What a horrible experience!!!!

Lovely hotel. Really attentive and friendly staff. Room was spacious and overall clean but some strange stains on chairs and carpet. Bathroom shower pressure was excellent.

Lovely hotel. Great staff. Found quite a few moths in the room in first night which was annoying. Minor point but the room was quite small. But generally very clean and comfortable. Would stay again

Love proximity to transportation and shopping areas

The property is very convenient location from Paddington station or Lancaster Gate so there is no issue for public transport. There is no restaurant on location but 5 mins walk to many venues. Very quiet at night on the street and we didn’t feel unsafe. Highly recommend.

Great location. Walkable to Hyde Park and Paddington station and other attractions. It is in the middle if residential neighborhood. The room we got was at ground level and had damp smell. We were there for 1 night so we did not care much. For the price there are other properties around the area that could be better.

Great place to stay - very central location

Well situated for Heathrow Express, restaurants and close to desirable tourist areas yet quiet and very comfortable. Compact but handy kitchenette facilities in the room.

Nice and conveniently located holte

The check-in team is very nice and were gracious when my flight landed very late. The room seemed fine, very clean, although I was only there for a couple hours. I would be happy to go back again. Just a 5 minute walk from Paddington which is convenient if you come into town on the Heathrow Express.

Easy walk from Paddington train station and nearby parks and cafes

Excellent accommodation with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The location was perfect with quick and easy access to the tube and bus service as well as Paddington train station. The kitchenette was great for my 4 night stay.

Online photos look better than the actual state of the hotel. Overwhelming smell of cheap antiseptic cleaning products and deodorizing efforts made worse by the fact that no windows open. Had to blow dry my hair in the reflection of the TV (no mirror near a plug). Telephone jack was faulty. Ask the front desk a question and you get a blank look and a sense of shock if you ask them to investigate something local for you. They’re trying but there is no value here at the prices they’re charging.

Great hotel in a fantastic location

Very nice clean hotel. Paddington station is 5 mins walk and there are a lot of restaurants to choose from. Buses are easily accessible from Paddington. The room was adequate for 3 nights, included a fridge, stove and cooking appliances. Highly recommend this hotel.

Air conditioner in room not working. Moved to another room the 2nd day which was nice. Rooms have small kitchenette with fridge and freezer which was a nice bonus. Clean room, comfortable bed. Walkable to Hyde Park, Paddington Station, shopping and restaurants & pubs. Staff all friendly and welcoming. A perfect location to take public transit and explore London. This was an excellent hotel. ALL of the staff were very helpful, always friendly. The room was clean, larger than many other hotels these days, included a small refrigerator, kettle for tea (and tea), a microwave. The location is ideal - walkable to Paddington Station (for trains and underground), Lancaster Gate (underground), numerous bus stops that will take you in all directions. And you're right next to Hyde Park, Little Venice (canal boat rides). If you're young enough and mobile enough, you can walk to a number of spots instead of taking transit (Portobello Road, Holland Park, Notting Hill). And the neighborhood is teeming with small coffee shops, bakeries, and restaurants. The only noise came at the end of my 1-month stay, due to engine-revving late in the evening in the street below, but it only lasted a minute or so - I have to deal with much worse in my suburban neighborhood at home! This place is well worth its price.

It an easy hop on and hop off bus ride and/or metro ride to London Eye and London Bridge. Great food and walking distance. It’s next to Hyde and Kensington Park which is a great way to start your day with a morning walk.

New clean hotel ,it’s immaculate … It has good beds and quality linens ..Nice staff 24hours..Conveniently located to Paddington station and Hyde Park is so close…Downside no breakfast service ! We thought the TV station selection pretty poor,but we really didn’t come to London to watch tv..

Great hotel

Walking distance from Padding Station and even closer to Hyde Park. Good size room. Comfortable bed. Excellent staff. There is no restaurant and thus no breakfast, but it does have a bar for evening drinks. The room has a small half kitchen, so you can prepare your own meals. By far the best hotel I have stayed at in the area (out of at least 8 others).

Clean, comfortable and convenient

Staff is friendly and good location. Room is clean. Only problem is that it smells like cigarettes in the hallway.

It was quiet and clean

Really loved the stay. The rooms are spacious given its london. All appliances worked great. There is a tea coffee maker, microwave and a small burner to make eggs. The only problem was the space in the toilet, it was a bit difficult to use. It might be challenging for old people. Otherwise everything was great.

The staff of the Westbourne Hyde Park were friendly and helpful, making our two night stay enjoyable. The hotel is so convenient to Paddington, yet clean and quiet. There are lots of dining options nearby and all the convenience of being close to the trains and underground transport in a central location. I would stay again while in London.

Helpful & friendly staff.

This is a great hotel for location. 5 minute walk to Paddington station but very quiet street. Immaculately clean rooms and bathroom. We had the deluxe twin- was so impressed with the little kitchen area, fridge, microwave crockery etc. Doesn't have any dining facilities in hotel which is a shame- you just need to be aware of this and the hotel needs to make this much clearer on booking. But apart from that we would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location and very clean

I really liked this hotel. I stayed there for a week while I was taking a class in the Lancaster gate area. My priority in selecting a hotel was a room with a kitchenette. Im glad I chose this one. I really liked the set up of the space and the staff was very friendly. I would stay there again.

We had issues with power cutting off and a burst water pipe which caused flooding in and outside of our room. Staff did not seem to think this was an issue, so a good stay was made average.

Had to change rooms as the bottom floor room we were first assigned smelt of mildew and sent my wife into a coughing fit. Room on the first floor was better.

The room was small but it did the job

We were allocated a room where the door did not lock. It was eventually sorted but there was no apology. Other than that it was ok and the location is great.

Great location & great service

I checked in on my birthday after almost 24 hours of traveling and the hotel had “connived” with my partner to surprise me by setting up my room with rose petals on the bed, a bouquet, sparkling wine, chocolate and a lovely note. It seemed everyone at the reception was in on it. Made me feel welcome right away and set the tone for a lovely 4 nights’ stay. The room was clean. Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate station are walking distance so it was very easy to get to my meetings. I had a lovely long walk at Hyde Park which is down the street. Although the hotel has no restaurant, many dining options are available within walking distance. The staff were professional and friendly. I’ll definitely stay there again. The deluxe studio is not large though, so might be best for a solo traveler.

Great place on Paddington

Close to Paddington Station and really comfy

We had a lovely stay, it was the perfect hotel! The staff were always pleasant, professional, and very helpful. The room was clean, spacious, very comfortable, and the A/C was wonderful in the summer heat. We had them service our room on muliple days while we were visiting downtown and we always came back to a perfect room with all our stuff exactly where we left it.
